When they were all through The Burrow fireplace, Mrs Weasley quickly pulled Simmons, Daisy, and Ginevra to the side.

"Hermione dear, you're going to be sleeping in Ronna and Ginny's room. It'll be a little cramped, but you should all fit. I'll move a camp bed in there this afternoon."

Simmons and Daisy simply nodded, knowing they were really going to be sleeping with Fitz, but obviously not about to tell Mrs Weasley that. And as soon as Mrs Weasley left them alone, Simmons and Daisy grabbed Fitz and pulled him outside with them, so they could plan and exchange everything they knew, having been too busy getting their new school supplies while in Diagon Alley to really talk. Daisy led them up the hill to the Weasleys' paddock, where they would be more assured of privacy.

Once they were completely alone, Simmons said, "Before we get to anything else, I need a way to get back to the Grangers' house tomorrow afternoon to get my trunk and clothes from there, as I promised Mrs Granger I would. And after that, what is our clothes situation?"

"I've got a solution for the first, but no clue about the second as I arrived in the Floo, and so haven't been around any clothes," answered Daisy. "But the solution to the first is a thing called the Knight Bus. Triple-decker bus like those red double-decker busses you're so proud of in London, only this is for the magical world and will take you anywhere, at least in Great Britain and on land — it's well-known in the magical world."

"And it will take us to muggle locations?" asked Simmons.

"Ronna has never actually been on it, but everything she knows about it would make it seem that way," answered Daisy.

"Okay then — we'll slip off and do that tomorrow afternoon, and get Hermione's stuff from the Grangers and stop by some muggle shops and get real clothes," said Simmons.

"Slight problem," interjected Fitz. "Muggle shops means muggle money, which we presumably don't have a lot of on us, and I somehow doubt our Shield debit cards will work in this world."

"Gringotts to exchange money, muggle shops for clothes, and the Grangers for Hermione's stuff, then," said Daisy. "Also, we should bring that fancy Blotts' bag that's smaller on the outside to store the clothes in, so we don't have to carry a bunch of bags."

As they all nodded their agreement to the plan, Fitz remembered that Simmons didn't know Harry's summer adventures up until that point like he and Daisy did. So he quickly told her everything about Harry's encounter with Dobby and its aftermath with the Dursleys, along with Ronna and the twins' rescue of Harry in their flying car. As expected, Simmons was highly intrigued by the house elf.

"And this is one creature you can study without risking getting beaten over the head with a club or burned to death with fiery breath," smirked Daisy.

"It's a good thing I love you, or I'd put the slap down on you right now," Simmons sassed back, but before either of them could say any more, Fitz noticed the twins walking across the paddock towards them, and nudged them both in the side to shut up.

Walking up to them, Fred asked, "Hey, Harry — want to practice quidditch with us? Can't have our seeker out of practice before the season starts."

"We brought your Nimbus up with us, along with two more brooms if you two want to join," added George, looking first at Fitz and then at Simmons and Daisy.

Fitz quickly and smoothly replied, "Uh, yeah — we'll all play. Just give us a minute."

As the twins walked back over to where they'd set down the brooms, Fitz looked at the other two and said quietly, "Good thing we've played Framework quidditch a few times, but what's that about me being seeker?"

"You became Gryffindor seeker in the first book," sighed Simmons. "I was afraid everything had reset after something Mrs Granger said to me right before we Floo'd here, but I wasn't sure so I hadn't mentioned it yet."

"So you know what this world is?! Did you read the rest of the books? Can you guide us through this year?!" asked Daisy excitedly.

"Well, yes and no," answered Simmons. "I did read the books, but I can only remember the first one, and absolutely nothing from the remaining books — I can't even remember how many more books there are. The 0-8-4 is clearly messing with our memories. And it's the Harry Potter books, which I'm almost certain we've all read, only Ron has been replaced by Ronna since Daisy's of the hotter sex."

"You're right! But how did none of us realize that last year, or when we got back, or since we've been here until you said it?" exclaimed Daisy, as Fitz stuck his tongue out at Simmons for calling hers the hotter sex, even if he agreed completely.

"I saw May secretly reading one of the later books literally ten minutes before you brought us all back here, and hadn't seen you again yet to tell you," answered Simmons. "And we've been busy since we got here, it escaped my mind until the twins just said that, and I remembered that part of the story, and everything else came flooding back in. The 0-8-4 obviously blocks certain kinds of memories or memory connections until it's bluntly put right in front of your face, like me seeing the cover of the book May was trying to hide, and if you don't make the connection in the real world first, you're not going to make it here, unless someone bluntly tells you, like I just did you guys. And also it like pushed it to the very back shadows of my mind until the twins' comment brought it back out to the front, with just a suspicion in the back of my mind with what Mrs Granger said to me. It's all weird, like anything with memories is. But I assume you both remember the entire first book now?"

Fitz and Daisy both nodded their heads.

"Our characters had it a lot rougher in canon than we did, though," commented Fitz, thinking back over everything Harry, Hermione, and Ron had gone through.

"And a hell of a lot less fun, if you know what I mean," smirked Daisy.

Fitz and Simmons both groaned. But they didn't have time to really think about the fact they were living out a book, as they had quidditch practice with the twins to get to before they started looking suspicious.

"I hope some of Harry's skill in the book transferred to me, or we're going to have a hard time hiding the fact we aren't Harry et al," said Fitz quietly as they walked over to where the twins were waiting on them. "Also, I'm not really sure I want to play quidditch and lose my evenings to the practices they doubtlessly have."

"We gained our characters' magical powers it seemed, enhanced by our own minds and determination, so it would make sense physical skills like this could come too, and maybe even the year of practice Harry had, I'm not sure," said Simmons.

"And we can work on getting you out of this later," added Daisy. "I'd hate to lose evenings with you, too."

As it turned out, Harry's talent for quidditch apparently did carry through to Fitz, as the twins never mentioned anything about him not being as good as they remembered. So the afternoon went off without a hitch, until finally it was time to return to The Burrow for supper.

Once supper was over and everyone had begun to disperse around the house again, FitzSkimmons pulled the twins outside and asked quietly, "Can we ask you two for a magical spell favor that is above our current learning, without being asked any questions?"

"We pride ourselves in discretion," answered George. "Though it is usually to save our own arses from punishment we don't feel inclined to partake in, if we're being honest."

"So as long as it's not too egregious or law-breaking, we'll probably be happy to help fellow rule-skirters," added Fred. "And we promise not to say anything even if we don't feel it in our best interest to help."

"Then we need you to enlarge Harry's bed in Bill and Charlie's old room to something a bit — roomier," said Simmons. "And any spells to prevent your mum and Ginevra from realizing Ronna and I aren't where we're supposed to be would be appreciated as well."

"Are you three old enough for — well, whatever you're wanting to do? Especially our little sister," questioned Fred. "It is our job as older brothers to look after you, even if you don't want us to."

"And when did you three even become close enough for anything along these lines?" added George. "I don't recall anything last year."

"We're not exactly of the age to go around telling anyone we might have got close, now are we?" replied Fitz. "So it would stand to reason that we would have kept any closeness that may or may not have started developing something of a secret."

"Would it make you feel any better if we told you we just wanted to cuddle after not seeing each other for two months?" added Simmons, knowing there was no way they could tell the twins the real reason they wanted to be together, be it having sex or that they were married and from a completely different world.

"Is that what you want to do?" asked Fred, clearly not fully trusting her. "And also, Harry's been here two weeks and we haven't seen anything between him and Ronna."

"We're more of a trio," answered Daisy. "Wouldn't want anyone feeling like a third wheel in our friendship."

It took all her effort not to turn to FitzSimmons and give them a pointed 'Now would we?' look. She knew they tried their hardest to make her one of them as much as they could, but between their psychic linked-ness that she would never share with them, and the fact they were scientists together while she was a hacker, muscle, and leader on the team, it could still sometimes feel like she was the third wheel in their relationship, no matter how long they had been together, and been married now. And it wasn't their fault, but she sometimes couldn't keep herself from reminding them that she was there too, even if they really did do their best to make three become one, and didn't deserve her insecurities and self-deprecating feelings of being the third-wheel.

"And it's what we're happy to tell you we'll be doing," Simmons answered Fred's first question pointedly.

"Look, we're going to make this work with or without your help, but I don't think any of us want your mum catching word of anything," said Fitz. "And we're all very mature for our ages. I know this won't prove anything, but we're happy to show you second and third year spells we already know if it'll help you agree to help us."

"No, no, that won't be necessary," replied George. "Though we will be happy to see your talents later if you're willing to show us. But we know stubborn determination when we see it, given the fact we're some of the best at it, and we'd rather not get caught in the fallout lava of mum-cano exploding should you three get caught trying to do this on your own. So yeah, we'll help."

"The engorgement charm for the bed is easy," said Fred. "The mum and Ginny problem is a bit harder to work around, though."

"Definitely the Imperturbable charm on the door of Harry's room," mused George as much to himself as to all of them. "Then there's either something to make sure all the appropriate parties are asleep as long as you need them to be, or something in the illusion department. Got any ideas, brother dearest of mine?"

"We've got plenty of our experimental powdered sleeping draught," answered Fred. "It's always been too strong for sleeping sugar quills, but should do great knocking them out for the night. It's up to you two to get back into your beds in Ginny and Ronna's room before morning and they wake up again, though."

"No problem," answered Simmons. "How does it work?"

"We'll go sprinkle the powder on their pillows, and by the time their heads hit said pillows, they should be out for at least six or seven hours."

As Mrs Weasley ushered all the children up to bed that night, Simmons and Daisy dutifully crawled into their respective beds in Ginevra and Ronna's room, listening for Mrs Weasley to head to her room as well.

When they heard the stairs creaking under her mass, they waited fifteen minutes to make sure she'd had time to make it into bed and inhale the twins' sleeping powder, and wasn't going to make another trip through the house to make sure everyone was where she wanted them, before carefully sneaking out of the room and over to Fitz's room, where he was waiting on them. They knew they didn't have to worry about Ginevra, as she had already been fast asleep from the moment her head hit her laced pillow, and wouldn't be waking if a herd of buffalo or Mrs Weasleys came stampeding down the stairs of The Burrow during the middle of the night. Once inside Fitz's room and crawled into his enlarged bed on either side of him, they wasted no time in nonverbally catching up, tongues busy even if not with talking.

Thanks to years of experience sneaking off into storage closets in the middle of the day, all three of them were more than capable of keeping their noises to a minimum when the situation required, and getting caught was not in their best interest. The Imperturbable charm the twins had cast on the room was supposed to muffle any sounds they did let escape, but it was still best not to test such things, given the extensive lack of approval their actions would receive if discovered.

Early the next morning, before anyone else had the chance to wake yet, especially those magically asleep, Skimmons snuck out of Fitz's room and back into Ginevra and Ronna's room, and crawled back into their respective beds to sleep a little longer until the rest of the house woke up.

Before they left, Simmons cast the shrinking charm the twins had quickly taught them the night before on Fitz's bed so if anyone happened to look in on it during they day, they wouldn't see anything out of the ordinary. The night before, even though it had been slightly riskier had Mrs Weasley decided to look in on Harry after sending all the children to bed, the twins had enchanted the bed for the intrepid trio, just to make sure they had an enlarged bed to enjoy that night if the three of them hadn't quite perfected the spell yet in the short amount of practice they had had with the twins after asking for their help after supper. And if they hadn't been able to shrink the bed on their own that morning, as long as Simmons and Daisy were in Ginevra and Ronna's room when Ginevra woke up, it was easy enough for Fitz to blame the enlarged bed on accidental dream magic. Not that any of them actually expected Mrs Weasley to buy that, but with Ginevra able to be Simmons and Daisy's alibi, she wouldn't have any reason to suspect anything unbecoming was going on in her house, as what reason would there be for Harry to enlarge his bed or have someone do it for him, other than simply wanting a larger bed? The only crime in that was underage magic, which she could give a scolding for, but nothing more.

An hour or so later, Mrs Weasley's shrill voice shouting through the house for everyone to wake up and come down for breakfast woke them back up, and they were pleased to see Ginevra waking up as well, if a bit more sleepily and slowly than normal — it wouldn't do to have her still magically asleep, as that would make Mrs Weasley suspicious, and suspicions always resulted in the twins getting in trouble, whether they were actually the source of the suspicions or not. But the twins really seemed to know their potions, as Ginevra was getting around like her normal self, and she, Simmons, and Daisy all walked into the kitchen together several minutes later, nothing looking out of the ordinary.

During breakfast, Mrs Weasley asked FitzSkimmons what they were planning on doing for the day, which Simmons quickly brushed off with a slightly evasive, but not entirely untrue, "We just thought we'd go exploring around a bit. I've never been to this part of the country."

A seemingly innocent enough answer, Mrs Weasley didn't ask anything more, letting them go outside without further questioning once breakfast was over with.

Walking to the outskirts of the nearby muggle town, but still far enough away that no muggles might accidentally see them, Daisy stuck out her wand hand, and a second later the giant, purple, triple-decker Knight Bus came screeching to a halt in front of them.

One highly unpleasant, jerky ride later, they finally arrived at the Leaky Cauldron, happy to get off. It had got them where they needed to go, and they were still going to have to ride it twice more that day, but none of them would have called their trip on the Knight Bus 'fun'. Fortunately, their walk through Diagon Alley was much more enjoyable, but they didn't spend long on the magical street, just long enough to exchange enough gold into muggle currency for the three of them to buy entirely new wardrobes back in the muggle world.

They weren't one hundred percent sure, but after the world resetting for everyone except themselves, they were pretty sure they could spend as much of Harry's money as they liked, and when Daisy inevitably pressed the shiny red button again and brought them back for their third year (they all knew it was eventually bound to happen, even if none of them said it out loud), all of Harry's money would reset to however much book-Harry had at the end of his first two years at Hogwarts, which based on his first year would be nearly all of it.

Back out in muggle London, they quickly bee-bopped in and out of a dozen stores, not buying too much from any one shop so as not to be noticeable, and so that they wouldn't have too many bags to subtly shove at one time into the magical bag from Flourish and Blotts that was smaller on the outside. The night before, they had checked Ronna's dressers and Harry's trunk, and found that like the last time with all their trunks, they were filled with clothes identical to the ones they were currently wearing, just in different colors, plus the required three sets of robes, and also the pointed hats that none of the students in the castle had worn after the first week. They assumed Hermione's clothes at the Grangers' house would be the same, as it would only make sense. So all told, they had to buy everything they would need to survive a year without going crazy having to wear the same clothes too often. The girls also refused to let Fitz come in with them when they were buying undergarments, insisting they wanted him to be surprised when he eventually peeled the rest of their clothes off of them at night in their private dorm at Hogwarts — or possibly in a broom cupboard or two during the day.

They had been a little worried that the shops wouldn't allow them in all by themselves, as the entire wizarding world did see them as twelve year olds, but the muggle world, who'd never heard of Harry Potter before, apparently only saw them as they saw each other and their own world saw them, as no one made any comments to them.

After finishing their shopping, they hailed the Knight Bus again, and soon arrived a few streets down from where Hermione's parents lived, not wanting to risk a giant, purple bus appearing out of thin air in front of Hermione's house should any of Hermione's neighbors be looking out their windows at the time. They weren't entirely sure how the Knight Bus worked when it came to not being seen when loading or unloading patrons in muggle areas — whether the bus itself appeared at all, or if they would just magically appear out of thin air the moment they stepped off the bus or possibly outside the bus's perception filter range, because they themselves would at some point have to become noticeable again, or they wouldn't be able to interact with Hermione's parents or the muggle world in general.

Once at Hermione's house, Simmons tried to make their visit to the Grangers as quick as possible, but since her two friends were there with her, Mrs Granger (her husband was still at their dentistry practice) of course wanted to meet them, extending their trip beyond what Simmons was really comfortable with. But they eventually made it out without Mrs Granger discovering that her daughter wasn't really her daughter, and were finally riding the Knight Bus back to Ottery St Catchpole, and relative safety from discovery.
