Part 62
Thawne watched as Iris gave herself over to Eclipso. She cried out as the demon over took her. A shadow covered half of her face. She grinned evilly and he felt a darkness like he never felt before around him. Eclipso then turned to him and entered his mind. It didn't take long to find Thawne's deepest desire. That being the death of Barry Allen. Once Eclipso had control of Thawne, Thawne's face half turned a purplish color as if an eclipse was covering it. The power of Eclipso was too much for the future speedster to over come and he became a pawn of the evil being.
"Guys an alert just came in of a man in yellow and woman that is causing a storm to move out over the city from city hall." Said Barbara
"Is everyone ready? You have to remember to fight whatever he tries to make you see. That woman is no longer Iris West. It is Eclipso using her body." Said Pat
"Remember to stick with the plan. Frost makes the prism which Superman and Supergirl use to magnify their heat vision. Stargirl, you will need to hit Eclipso with the power of your staff. The rest of us will fight him while feeding Frost energy." Said Batman
"Um you know that I only have super strength for an hour right?" asked Rick
"Hopefully we will end this before the time is up." Said Barry
"Beth, you have Dr. McNider's goggles. They should help you know what is real and not. But above all unless it can't be avoided we do not kill the host. While Ms. West is not an innocent person she should not die for her mistakes." Said Jay
Everyone nodded and began to head out. Frost who had taken over for Caitlin smirked as she walked past the young JSA members as she heard Beth and Courtney talk.
"I can't believe that we are actually teaming up with Batman, Frost and two Flashes!" said Courtney
"What about Superman and Supergirl? Did you know that J'onn J'onzz the Martian is actually green like in those alien movies?" said Beth
"Really that is cool. Speaking of cool what about Frost? She seems really nice." Said Courtney
"She is cool. Just don't piss her off or hurt someone she cares about. You might get stab or lose fingers or toes." Said Laurel as she put on her Black Canary mask.
"So you actually know her?" asked Yolanda
"Yes. I went to law school with her older brother." Said Laurel
"Wow. So what you all have regular jobs?" asked Courtney
"Yes. After we save the world we can all tell you about them."
The three teens nodded and joined the others heading for city hall.
Thawne stood next to Eclipso as darkness fell over the city. He grinned as Barry and the rest of the so called heroes arrived.
"Have to say it is a surprise to see the junior JSA here. But then again I get why you want the cosmic staff." Said Thawne
"Who is that old guy in yellow." Asked Rick
"There is nothing on him according to the goggles." Said Beth
"We know him as Harrison Wells. But I doubt that is his real name." said Barry
"Well done Flash. My name is Eobard Thawne. Thanks to that guy in the helmet my plans were ruined. Now everyone of you are going to die."
"Not going to happen banana man." Said Frost
Barry and Jay took off at Thawne. Eclipso just smirked.
"Do you really think that you can stop me Batman or should I say Bruce Wayne? It won't take long now before I destroy this world and bring the shadowlands here." Said Eclipso
As the group was about to attack they saw Eclipso/Iris disappear. In their place stood a little girl no older than nine or ten. That stopped them. Frost blinked then smiled as she began to form the prism that Batman wanted.
"You can't fool me Eclipso. I knew Iris at that age. Personally I find it rather creepy that you are making everyone see you as a prepubescent girl. If I didn't know that you weren't human I would think you had mommy and daddy issues. Take it from someone that actually does. It ain't worth trying to turn back time." Said Frost
"Um Frost how do we snap them out of whatever he is doing to them?" asked Beth
"You aren't affected?" asked Frost
"The goggles protect me."
"Right. Um I don't know your friends but trying and find away to reach them."
Beth thought of something then ran over to Rick who's face she noticed was looking as if an eclipse was passing over him.
"Rick! Hourman! Whatever you are seeing is not real. Grundy is not here. But this monster is. He turned your dad into a killer! That is not who he was meant to be. He was a hero. Don't let him turn you into a monster." Said Beth
Frost smiled when she saw Rick break free. He then ran at Eclipso pulsing briefly to feed her energy. She nodded her thanks then he ran up and punched the demon as hard as he could. At the same time Batman was able to knock Eclipso's hold off the two Kryptonian heroes. Both saw the prism and began to shoot their heat vision at it. It shot through the prism hitting Eclipso. At the same time the three speedsters came back knocking down the Green Arrow, Speedy, Spartan and Arsenal freeing them from Eclipso's mental grip. Beth was able to reach both Courtney and Yolanda.
"Iris, you got to fight this monster. You are better than him. You can still be the person your dad taught you to be." Said Barry
"He is right Iris. I forgive you for what you did to me. Fight him. Don't let him win. If he wins your life will be over." Said Frost
J'onn snuck up behind Iris/Eclipso holding her in place as she cried out as she was hit by a blast from the cosmic staff. Eclipso was thrown out of her body and she nearly fell to the ground. Jay came in then and picked up the woman speeding her off to the nearest hospital. Eclipso slowly climbed to his feet. Turned to Thawne and sent energy at the evil speedster turning him to dust. He then turned to the group of heroes.
"It's time to finish him for good." Said Oliver
"Frost can you hold on a little longer?" asked Jay who had returned.
"I am not sure how much longer." Said Frost
"You don't have to do it alone." Said Pat who had climbed out of his robot.
Pat was the first one to place a hand on Frost feeding some of his body heat. One by one each of the heroes followed suit. With one final blast of light from the Kryptonians and Stargirl Eclipso was forced back into the black diamond. Frost faded away leaving Caitlin to fall to the ground unconscious.
