Together the two of them headed down the street, hand in hand. Noctis led slightly, as he pulled Prompto along at an easy pace. As they continued down the street towards the arcade, Noctis thought of something to talk about to pass the time.

"What class you think will be the hardest?"

"Hmm either math or literature. Those are the worst!"

"Oh, I always just make something up for literature."

"At least we have the same teacher. Different periods but same homework. Totally gotta do study time together."

"Should make homework a bit easier, definitely. If all else fails, we use Iggy," Noctis said with a serious nod.

Prompto nodded along as they headed closer to the arcade. When they arrived, various other people, including workers, in the arcade turned and waved at them.

Noctis smiled at them and gave a small wave back to them. Then, he went over to the girl at the front desk to smile a bit wider. "The usual please."

"Of course! Oh and I think you two may be interested in the new prizes we got recently. It may peak your interest," the worker laughed lightly as she scanned the cards to add on more points.

"Oh sure, we'll be sure to check them out soon. Any recs?"

The worker chuckled. "For new games, we got a new coin shooter game themed to Justice Monster 5. But for the prizes, it might be best to see it for yourselves."

Noctis shot a look over at Prompto before shrugging. "Alright. Thanks!"

"So," Prompto said as they walked away. "Prize check first or straight to our usual ticket winning games?"

"Let's... our usual ticket winning games first."

"Alright! Time to earn even more tickets!" Prompto cheered.

"The usual order of games? Or want to try the new one?" Noctis asked as he surveyed the area to make sure games were open.

"I don't know. Do we want to see about that new game?"

"Yeah, let's do that. Might as well see what Justice Monsters did this time."

"Well I've heard those coin shooter games can be good ticket earners if you know what you are doing. So let's see what they got."

"Is this gonna be one of those games you crush me in like the shooters?" Noctis teased.

"Nah these games aren't like that. This is just a solely ticket earning game."

Noctis smiled and leaned toward Prompto's side. "Alright, tell me the best ways to get all the tickets."

"Okay, let's head on over there!" Prompto said as he pulled Noctis along.

They arrived at a 6 sided machine, each side had a stool in front of it and a basic console with a controller and button. Prompto strolled up to one of the sides and sat down on the stool. "Okay, so here's the deal. We want to get the plastic tokens and the cards, silver ones rarely fall through but they still count. Tokens are 15 tickets and the cards are 50 each," Prompto said as he pointed to a little sticker that gave that info. He then pointed to a different sticker on the machine that showed all the cards lined up together. "But if we can get a full set of cards we can get 2500 tickets!"

"Think you can do it? Get a full set of cards?" Noctis asked with raised eyebrows.

"Gotta hope for the right cards to fall. There is always one card that is super, ultra rare to drop. But I chose this side of the machine because..." he pointed inside the machine to the pile of coins and cards. It was one of the characters, a giant fire bomb with tech goggles built into its head. "That right there is the rare one. So all we gotta do is play this side and get the coins to push it to us."

Noctis nodded at that. "Alright, lead on. I'll take your advice for this."

"Watch and learn and let the tickets roll in," Prompto said as he cracked his knuckles, letting the fun begin.

Leaning against the machine, Noctis smiled as he watched Prompto start to work the machine. He kept quiet as he just watched to hopefully learn some tricks.

"You know, you could hope on the other side next to mine. That way we can double our ticket amount," Prompto suggested

"You just want me to miss the show," Noctis teased. "Fine, fine, wish me luck."

"Oh what? You scared that you won't get as many cards as me?" Prompto taunted.

"I thought this wasn't a competition. Just collecting a bunch of tickets."

"We can make it a competition, if you want to."

"No, I really don't want to. I know where I'm beat," he laughed.

"Then you can gladly watch the master at work, but you owe me for getting us all the tickets!"

"And what would be a fair payment for you getting all these tickets?"

"Hmm. A kiss for every card and token I earn. That sounds fair."

"Willing to wait till we get back to the Citadel for that payment? So Iggy doesn't give us more homework?"

"Time alone with you, me and the couch? Sounds like a great plan."

Noctis laughed. "And I get some time to just ogle my boyfriend. I think we both win."

"See? It's a win-win either way!"

Noctis settled to watch Prompto rack up a bunch of tickets before they went through their usual round of games to get an even larger stack. "Bro, now we can see the new prizes and get something awesome."

"Yeah, let's see what the big deal is about these new prizes."

They headed over to the prize counter with their haul, and Noctis stopped when he saw... them staring back at them. "What-?" He said softly.

"Oh em gee," Prompto gawked. "Action figures... and plushies... of us?"

"So it would seem. Dude, I'm getting a plushie of you!"

"But you have me! Why do you need to have a plush of me!"

Noctis looked over at Prompto with a smirk. "Why can't I have more than one of you? Seems selfish to deny me the pleasure," He laughed.

"Well then I get to have plush of you! I'll name him mini Noct."

"Sounds fair. I hope we have enough tickets to get them."

"We've been saving up, we probably do," Prompto said as he took one of the Noctis plushies from the shelf.

Noctis smiled and picked up one of the Prompto plushes as well. He just kept from cheering when they had more than enough to get them from their ticket total.

Together they now walked out of the arcade, Prompto squeezing his plushies tightly to his chest. "Aw this is so adorable. Now I can squeeze you as tight as I want and not 'squeeze you to death'. It's perfect!"

"Should I be concerned you'll like that plushie more than me?"

"Well I can't very well squeeze you super tightly, now can I? I know I'm not the strongest, but I can't risk breaking any of your bones," Prompto laughed. "Plus mini Noct is super soft!"

"You are going to pay for that," Noctis teased as they left the arcade. "I'm not soft?"

"Oh you are soft! But not plushie soft!" Prompto snickered as he held the plush Noctis tighter.

Noctis laughed and took Prompto's hand while they walked. "Back to the citadel, or do you need to go home soon?"

"Ah, I can chill at the Citadel for a while. Dinner isn't until 7 anyways."

"Oh good, glad they don't get to claim you too early."

"Yeah. Dad, he's cool, you know. It's still weird getting used to thinking that your dad's shield is now my dad. But, still cool."

"I'm just- I'm glad you have more people looking out for you," Noctis said softly.

"I'm glad too. I know I've probably said it a thousand times by this point, but I've never felt this happy before," Prompto said as a small smile warmed his face.

"And I would happily hear you say it a thousand times again. I think all of us would enjoy hearing that."

Prompto blushed, resting his head on the plush. "Thanks. You're too good for me."

"Never, otherwise I'd say the same of you."

Prompto brushed his body up against Noctis. "This is a real dream come true."

"Then you should enjoy it as much as you can." Noctis said with a smile and a shrug.

"I'll enjoy every moment of it," Prompto said as he laced his fingers with Noctis.

"I suppose I'm good with sharing that with a plush then," he teased.

"Share and share alike," Prompto laughed.

Noctis laughed at that. "Then I suppose I'll be good and do the same."

The two arrived back at the Citadel. As expected Ignis was there to greet them and went over what their classes had given them and then let them go off, as it was only the first day of school. Ignis barely bat an eye when he looked at the plushes that the two were holding. He only sighed and walked off, muttering something softly to himself.

The two ran back to Noctis's room and flopped onto the bed. Prompto stretched out and yawned. "Ahh, good old relaxing bed."

"We'll have to plan a sleepover so you can actually sleep in it sometime soon." Noctis flopped onto the bed so he could stretch out and enjoy it.

"Sounds nice. You think they'll let us actually sleep together?"

Noctis sighed and stared at the ceiling for a moment. "I suppose... that might be hard. Since we are openly dating."

"And what about a nap," Prompto said, rolling on to his side. "Right now.?"

"Now you speak my language. Set an alarm for dinner."

Prompto tapped his phone before setting it on the nightstand. "Alright. Time for a well earned nap."

"Excellent." Noctis shifted to wrap an arm around Prompto as he easily dropped off to a nap.
