"Skip Christmas Eve?!" Aggie called out.
"I just find it all a little silly. It's mostly a day dedicated to presents and candy, isn't it..?" Long said as he took another bite of the Shrimp Chips.
"And why would you deny yourself presents and candy? That's crazy talk!" Aggie said as if it wasn't that important.
Both NightStar and Nikita rolled their eyes about their friend's choice of words.
The Princess of Lycantropolis steped in to explain it correctly. "I think what Aggie means to say is Christmas is about more than presents and candy. It's a time to spend with friends and family when we celebrate a very important day in the Multiverse's history."
"I think to most people, it's just an excuse for silly songs and fun, not a day to remember some old story..." He said as he started to walk away.
She then teleports infront of him.
"Maybe you just haven't heard the right Christmas story yet!"
"Angel comes down to earth, the new baby is born which will soon become the person we all know as Jesus. Ha! Everyone knows that story." He said as he stated the obvious.
"Not that one. My favorite holiday story, "A Christmas Tale!" The Princess added.
"Oh, I love that one!" Nikita said as she and Aggie smiled.
Moments the girls and Long (Wish Dragon form), are at the castle library where NightStar is gonna tell the tale. She flew to one of the bookshelves as she is looking for the book. Once she found it she took it as she flew down to where the girls are as they all sat on a sofa.
"This is the story of a powerful sorcerer named Xuĕ Juéshì, who hated Christmas. It all began a few centuries ago in Energieville..."
"Every home in Energieville was filled with holiday spirit. Every home... except one. It was said of Xuĕ that he was almost as studied as my ancestor, Uni the Multiverser. Almost, since everyone knows that Uni was an expert at everything from transfiguration, dimensional calibration, teleportation—!" NightStar got a little caught up talking about her ancestor that Aggie cut her off.
"We get it. Uni's awesome..." The Magical Musical Troll said offscreen with a deepanded tone.
"Right... The point is, Xuĕ was also a powerful sorcerer. He wanted to be perfect. Anything that got in the way of that was a waste of time." The Princess continued.
Xuĕ/Long Zhu (Human form) was checking a book for a spell to turn a rock into gold. Just as he was about to complet it, he was interrupted by the sounds of bells from outside. He looked outside to see a group of man ringing those said bells. He frowned upon this.
"Well, that batch is ruined... Mallory!" He said with annoyance before calling his assistant.
"Mallory was Xuĕ's loyal assistant." NightStar added.
Mallory/Marcy Wu then came in flying as she is a bird person. Her wings are white/dark blue grey. A bird called a Crane (Chinese Crane).
"What do you need sir?" She asked gleefully.
"Get this mess cleaned up. Those foolish people were ringing those blasted bells outside the window and I lost my concentration!" He said as he gave her the broom.
"Whoa, people are actually enjoying Christmas Eve... Where did they get that crazy idea..?" The bird girl said under her breath.
"Today is nothing to celebrate. Christmas is a menace. A dangerous day for all of Elemental..." He ranted out.
"Dangerous?! It's awesome! It's the day we remember how Wolves, Deers, Leopards, Winter Animals, Dragons, Mermaids, Werewolves, Night Animals, Birds and Sorcerers came together in friendship to defeat the Snow Spirits and saved Elemental!" Mallory said with joy.
That caused Xuĕ to snap out in anger. "That silly legend is the problem! Telling everyone that "singing songs and being nice" will solve anything? I've spent years studying magic, and that's not how it works."
"I think you might be missing the point..." She said stating the obvious.
"Work hard, learn, and use your skills to better Elemental. That's a worthy goal for any sorcerer." He said firmly to the bird person. He then said sarcasticly as he mixed up a bunch of herbs. "But, by all means, if you want to go home early, ignore all of the work you have, and spend the rest—"
"Sweet! Thank you!" Mallory immediately dashed out. She flew home to be able to celebrate with her friends and family.
"Ugh!" Xuĕ looked outside as he saw the people cheering with smiles and laughter on their faces. That made him even more irritated. "I hate Christmas! All of Elemental would be better off if we just skipped the day altogether."

He used his magic to pick up some random potions and mixed it in a bowl to create a puff of green smoke.

He then starts to wander on the streets snatching random Christmas objects. Once he was done he went back home.

He then puts them into a giant pot of goo. He picked up some potions and a book so find the spell.
Finally set free from your forced celebrations
No need to reply to your trite invitations

Is my magic up to the test?
Time to see, I can't delay
He puts the potions into the pot one by one with a menace look. After putting the last one, two Snow Spirits flew around over him. Knowing that his spell is completed.
Say goodbye to the holiday
Prepare the spell, no hesitation
All memory shall fade away
See Elemental's new transformation
No more shall anyone say...

He said with a dark chuckle.

Uni the Multiverser was one of NightStar's ancestors and she was the first one to travel to other worlds. She was also one of the former Rulers of Elemental centuries ago.
The people in the story are dressed like how they used to in the Victorian area.
