My first one shot I tried to use a different type of writing style which I found some aspects of it to be very fun to write, others more difficult to remember but I enjoyed writing this and I hope you enjoy reading it!

Few Words

He is staring out the window from inside his room, his cerulean eyes distant and thinking. Always thinking it seemed. It was what he was best at after all, and all the while, while he is thinking those eyes of that amazing blue are always so cold. Their color seemed to come from all the unshed tears that he never submitted to. He's been sitting there all day from the moment he got up to now, sunset.

He's wondering, thinking of all the possible outcomes what could've happened, should've, would've. If only he'd made a move.

No.

He wasn't thinking of the battle, but of a girl. A particularly hotheaded red head.

The thought of here angry makes him smile. But that quickly fades remembering the hopelessness of the situation. Ichigo had broken up with Masaya, on his terms of course. She had then started rating and raging Ryou telling him it was all his fault and that masaya said, "There is someone else for you, as well as for me, maybe you should talk to your boss," Well in short that got her even more angry and she said some things that cut deep.

He never meant to make her truly angry, just to annoy her and the one time she was really angry with him wasn't even his fault.

It had been three days and Ryou had been avoiding her.

He is still sitting there thinking when there is a knock on the door.

He wonders who it is, there was no work today and Keiichiro had gone to some pastry bake or another.

"Come in" he says.

The door opens to reveal a very timid looking Ichigo.

Ryou wonders what she is doing here; she herself doesn't look like she knows. The way she is standing there wringing her hands and staring at her feet. She is amazing, the way she can change her complete demeanor. That is one of the aspects he loves about her. Yes he admits it, loves, but he'll never say it out loud, it hurts to much to admit any sort of love, after his parents' death.

"Ryou," she whispers not looking up, "I'm sorry, I was thinking about what I said and that Masaya was right I should talk to you so am but that's not the reason I'm here it's-"

Ryou cuts off her rambling with a warm, passionate, kiss. She may not have finished what she was saying but the kiss erased any need for words.

They break apart and look at each other, and both say in unison,

"I love you"

ditto what I said at the top R&R please and don't hurt me! Thankys!
