Flashbacks Part 6
Right now Ash and Lillie are now leaving Fiero City, they reach the ground level as they are stopping in front of a school before reaching Quest Town, a town that is said to be haunted.
"So is this the school we are going to attend?" Lillie asks as they are standing at the entrance of the big school, Lillie is in awe at the school has a big campus, and one of the buildings inside of the school is so tall that Lillie almost can't see the top of the building.
"Yep, this is our new school, because my mother is going to be the Principal, she is going to make sure that there aren't going to be any bullies to hurt us." Ash says.
"That sure is true after all." As they turn around, they see Aurora coming with two people behind her. "It is nice to see you two traveling here. Ash, Lillie."
"Hi, Mother." Ash bows at her to show his politeness, and Lillie also does the same. Ash also recognizes the two people behind Aurora and he greets them. "Aunt Valerie, Eve, it is good to see you again."
"Hello, Ash. It is nice to see you again." Valerie smiles as she turns her head towards Lillie. "And you must be Lillie, it is a pleasure to meet you."
"It is nice to meet you as well." Lillie stutters since she can't believe that the famous fashion designer is currently talking to her.
"No need to be shy to us, after all, Ash and we are families." Eve also walks towards them and greets them. "I am Eve, I am nicknamed Cunning Professor. And Prince Red, since to see you again."
"You too, Eve." Ash says as they share a family hug. "What are you doing here? I thought that you were back in Kalos to do something else."
Aurora says, "Valerie is here to help me design the school uniforms since school outfit is also an important factor in a high school."
"That's right." Valerie says, "Especially since this school is a royal boarding school, we have to make sure that the school uniforms are the best." Valerie says, "Why don't you two try them out? We already finished making them, and what we need is someone to try it out."
"Then we will like to try it out." Ash says as Valerie gives them each a uniform. Ash and Lillie go towards the changing room to change out their uniforms, and they feel comfortable after wearing them.
Lillie is wearing a schoolgirl uniform that is white and has a red tie, she also has a dark blue colored jacket over her, and she wears a dark blue pleated skirt that matches the jacket, brown shoes, and black knee-high socks. As for Ash, his shirt is like the girls except for the blue tie, but the bottom is dark pants and shoes.
"Wow, you all look good." Eve comments after seeing how stunning they look.
"Indeed, you two look very amazing in those uniforms, and I can imagine the other students are going to be the same. The uniform of the school is decided, now we should have the mass production of the clothes." Valerie says.
Lillie asks Ash with a shy tone, "Ash, do you think I look weird in the uniform?"
Ash smiles and says, "Believe me, you look really good in that. And what about me?"
"You like a handsome prince in that uniform." Lillie says with a blush while hugging him.
Eve coughs and says, "I don't know how your relationship goes, but you have to remember that we are still in public." This causes the two of them to blush as they quickly rush to change back to their traveling clothes, trying to forget what they have done.
After returning the uniforms to Valerie, Ash, Lillie and Eve check out the classrooms, cafeteria, the dorms, and even the running court. They are amazed at the best quality, comparing to Kalos High, they like this place better for their education.
"So why is this school called RPA?" Lillie asks. "I mean...is there any meaning behind it?"
"It stands for Royal Pokemon Academy." Eve says. "This school has the most cost compared to other schools since this school wants us to be treated as royals to have a high-quality education."
"That is true, and I am sure that this school will be much better than the Kalos Academy." Ash says bitterly.
"What happened?" Eve asks. Ash and Lillie explain their misery to her, she is surprised since she also stayed at the school. She says, "So the two who have been causing trouble according to the teachers...they were you?"
"In the teachers' eyes, we are." Ash says with anger. "Only Professor Sycamore and Professor Magnolia think otherwise."
"How dare they talk to you like that! Of all the people, you are the last one to be causing trouble to school!" Eve says.
"It is fine, we already filed a lawsuit against the school. But right now I don't care how they try to save their school, what I care about is we can have a better education with no people framing me for cheating." Ash says.
"I hope." Lillie sighs. "By the way, Eve, why are you called Cunning Professor?"
Eve says, "I am a Professor in the training under Professor Pine in this Sevestar Region, but of all the Pokemon, I like to use Dark Type Pokemon the most, though people may find it unbelievable since my mother is a Fairy-Type specialist."
"I see." Lillie says. "Dark Type sure is not someone would like to use."
Before they leave the school, Aurora asks, "So Ash, how many badges do you have?"
Ash shows her the badges and says, "I have 8 badges. I will need 6 more badges so that I can challenge the Elite 4 and eventually you, Mother."
"I see, then Shadow's gym in Quest Town should be your next?" Valerie asks.
"Yes, and it is where we are going now." Ash says as they bid farewell to others.
As they arrive at Quest Town, Lillie is a little scared at the fact that the town is quite dark and gloomy, it gives her a lot of chills.
"You know, Ash. I think I don't like this place in the whole Sevestar Region...why is this place so dark and gloomy?" Lillie asks.
"It is for the ghost types in this region." Ash says, and Lillie mutters, "Ghost Type?"
"Yeah, as you can see, the shadowy place in the Quest Town, and the graveyards around the place, it is no wonder that the Ghost Type Pokemon like to stay here."
"You don't need to tell me about it. Can you tell me where is the gym?" Lillie asks, and Ash points at the building in front of them and he says, "That Fright House is the gym."
"You finally arrived, Brother." Golly comes with a person to greet them when they open the door.
"Golly, Mr. Shadow." Ash greets them back.
"Hello, Ash. It is good to meet you again." Shadow says. "And you must be Princess White, Lillie, it is an honor to meet you."
As Lillie and Shadow are shaking hands, Shadow says, "You know, I can't believe Lusamine will disown her daughter like that."
"You know my mother?" Lillie asks in shock.
"Of course, I was once a member of the Aether Foundation. Your mother and I are good friends as well as your father. In fact, I am one of the groomsmen when your mother and father get married." Shadow says.
"Really? I never knew that!" Lillie is shocked.
"I can't blame you. Since after your father's death, she changed a lot and we haven't been contacting with each other. I also resigned from my job and I have been staying here ever since." Shadow says with a sigh.
"It is fine." Lillie says while looking at Ash with a loving smile. "I really don't care if she disowned me. The queen here is kind enough to let me stay with her family and I am glad to have a boyfriend that takes care of me."
"I know, congratulations to you two." Shadow says.
"So Brother, are you interested in the 7 frights of the Fright House?" Golly asks.
"Oh, a little bit. And I am ready to know since the fright house is also the gym, right?" Ash says.
"Of course, I want the Challengers to know about the 7 frights so they can be prepared to know who they are fighting against. But first, please follow me." Shadow says as the three go into the house.
In the living room, they see a Banette sleeping on the sofa. Shadow says, "That is the first fright, those who wake it up will be surprised about this."
As Golly grabs the doll and tosses it into the air, causing it to land on the sofa, the Banette gets angry and he yells, "How dare you get into this place! Rock! I choose you!"
He tosses a rock at Golly, he isn't hurt but surprised. Lillie says, "The way he throws rocks, it looks like Ash."
Ash is hit by the rock-throwing by the Pokemon, but he doesn't feel pain, instead, he groans a little and he says, "Stop mimicking me, Banette."
Then they head to the kitchen, Lillie feels a sudden chill and she asks, "Guys, is it just me, or this place is cold?"
Ash says, "Maybe..." He opens the refrigerator, Froslass floats out of the fridge and throws a snowball at them, and it has been waiting inside the fridge to scare those who try to open it.
"That is spooky." Golly says, and Lillie almost passed out due to fright. Ash notices it and quickly asks Shadow to recall the Pokemon, and he does it for Lillie's sake.
"That is the second one, the third one is outside, where Trevenant is. It is a Pokemon that will scare you if you enter the house, so we shouldn't go into the yard, or else we are going to be covered by vines by the Pokemon's Forest Curse."
"I won't want that to happen, let's go to the fourth one." Ash says as they all get upstairs.
They head to the bedroom, and Shadow is standing in front of the closet as he turns to the three of them.
"So who dares to open it?" Shadow asks. Golly just walks up and opens, then a bunch of Gastly floats out of the closet, causing Lillie to scream.
"I thought it was some monster, it is only Gastly." Ash laughs.
"It is actually cute, too." Golly says, but Lillie is shivering and says, "It...it is not...not cute..."
Then they head to the Collection Room, where they see a Yamask hiding among the architects.
"I guess this bathroom doesn't have any scary things?" Lillie asks once they get into the bathroom, but just then, they see a Frilllish pop from the bathtub that is filled with water.
"A Frillish, that isn't scary at all..." Lillie sighs.
"Yeah, a good Pokemon, too." Ash says.
"Okay, now the last one is over there at the battlefield of the gym." Shadow says as they enter the field. In the middle of the field is a Chandelure that is hanging at the ceiling.
"A Chandelure... that is quite a scary-looking design." Ash says as Shadow just recalls the Pokemon, causing the place to get a little dark.
"Now since we are here at the battlefield, let's have a gym battle." Shadow says.
"Sure." Ash says.
