Flashbacks Part 7
Because Lillie doesn't want to stay in the town for longer as ghosts like to be in the town, Ash and Lillie leave the town after Ash gets his tenth gym badge, and right now they are in the woods as they see a lot of golfers.
"Are we in a golf court?" Lillie asks in confusion. "Since I see a lot of people doing it here."
"Of course, Skyhigh City is a big city due to having a lot of golf fields in the area. How about we quickly get past the golf court before we put ourselves in danger as we are going past this place?"
"And how are we going to do that?" Lillie asks.
"I have these two Pokemon." Ash says as he sends out two Flying Type Pokemon, much to Lillie's surprise is that they are Ho-oh and Lugia.
"Oh my god, they are so beautiful!" That is all Lillie says after seeing them. "I can't believe I get to see two beautiful Legendary Pokemon in front of me..."
Both birds land in front of Ash as they bow at him. Ash says, "Ho-oh and Lugia have been helping me a lot, they are really great Pokemon if we want to fly through the region."
Ash helps Lillie getting on the Lugia, while he swiftly jumps onto Ho-oh. Not only that, Pikachu and Sylveon also jump on Ash and Lillie's shoulders before Ash says, "Now let's take off."
Lillie is surprised that Lugia just takes off without warning, at first she closes her eyes, not wanting to see anything, but as they are now slowly moving in the sky, Lillie manages to open her eyes and looks at the sky. "Wow, the sky is so beautiful!" Lillie says.
"You are also a beautiful princess riding on Lugia." Ash says.
"Thanks, and you are a handsome prince coming to save the princess with Ho-oh." Lillie winks at him.
"You mean you want me to save you?" Ash laughs, and Lillie also does the same.
As they arrive in front of the Pokemon Center, they see a boy with blue hair, grey eyes, a grey vest, and black pants walking to them.
"Is it Prince Red that I see riding on Ho-oh?" The boy smiles as Ash walks up to him and gives him a fist bump.
"Hello there, East. It is nice to see you here. This is Princess White, Lillie. Lillie, this is Sky King, East." Ash says.
"It is nice to meet you." Lillie bows at the boy in front of them, and East says, "A friend of Ash is a friend of mine."
After recalling the two Pegasus Pokemon into the Pokeball, the two are now inside the gym and East asks, "Are you going to challenge Aera for the Gym Battle? If that's the case, then you have to be good at Sky Battles."
"Sky Battles? What is that?" Lillie asks as she has never heard of a kind of battle before.
"Oh, it is a kind of battle that requires Flying Types. With the special suit and the winds here, you can fly, too." Ash says as he shows the other trainers doing it at the nearby canyon.
"I'll like to try it out." Lillie says after seeing the trainers doing it with awe.
They all meet Aera and then they change their suits, Lillie is a little hesitant to open her arms, but with Ash's encouragement, she flies in the air and is liking the view from above.
After the gym battle. Ash wins against Aera and gets the badge, then they bid farewell to the two people as they leave the city.
"Wow...it is cold here." Lillie says as they arrive at Mt. Iceat. The place is snowing and both Ash and Lillie are wearing their winter clothes, Sylveon is shivering at the cold temperature, but Pikachu's encouragement is enough to have her continue walking.
"Mt. Iceat is where the Pokemon League is situated since the coldness is a good factor to test the patience." Ash says. "And this is where the Showcase and the Grand Festival is holding as well."
"Oh my, I almost forgot that you already have five ribbons and three keys with you." Lillie says, remembering all the performances Ash did in front of the crowd.
Once they arrived at the peak of Mt. Iceat, Ash goes into one of the stadiums to challenge the Grand Festival. Lillie is surprised to see a lot of people at the peak because of the challenges, but they also cheer for Ash as he has his performance on the stage and the battles that are holding. After defeating a lot of strong opponents, Ash wins the Grand Festival in the end. There are some times that Lillie is worried for Ash due to the opponent giving him a harsh challenge, but Ash manages to overcome all of them and Lillie is happy about it.
"You did it! Ash!" Lillie hugs him after they meet at the entrance of the stadium. Ash smiles and returns the hug, then he says, "Yeah, without May or Drew sabotage the contests, it is very easy."
"I see you are still confident." They turn around and see a girl with white hair and a light blue dress approach them. "Nice to see you again, Ashy."
"Hello, Alice." Ash says as they share a hug, and Lillie is a little jealous at the fact that another girl is hugging Ash, but then Alice notices it and says, "You must be Princess White. I am Alice, the Frozen Queen and also Prince Red's cousin."
"It is nice to meet you." Lillie says, learning she is also one of Ash's family members.
"So I guess you are here for the Showcases?" Ash asks.
"Indeed." Alice says as she shows him the three Princess Keys. "And I am going to be the Sevestar Queen no matter what, Ash."
"Are you sure you can beat me? I have tied with Aria, and you know I am not going to hold back either." Ash says while stating his confidence.
Lillie hears the mention of the name and asks, "Aria? Isn't that the Kalos Queen?"
"Yeah, we are also cousins. She and I had a performance battle once. But it is quite surprising that we both get 50% votes each." Ash says. "I mean...what are the odds? To have audiences in the even number and the fact that half of the people voted for her and half of the people voted for me?"
"No way..." Lillie says. "That sure is a rare occasion if you ask me."
Alice says, "I know you just won the Grand Festival, but the Showcases are about to get started, we should go prepare ourselves, shall we?"
"Yeah, let's go." Ash says as they both go to Master Hall while Lillie and the other Pokemon go to the stands to wait for Ash's performances.
At the changing room, Ash has already changed into a girl and both she and Alice are doing make-ups, but they aren't expecting to see a person walking towards them with a smile. "Well if it isn't my two grandchildren."
They turn around and see Palermo standing there, being their grandmother, Ash and Alice give her a hug and Ash asks, "Grandma, so you have come to watch?"
"I am asked to be one of the judge." Palermo says. "I heard from Aurora that you have been mistreated in Kalos High, and I am really sorry to hear that since Kalos High was the school that I was graduated in, and I can't believe that the teachers will go so low to make you suffer as well."
"It is fine, Grandma. We already filed a lawsuit against the school." Ash says. "And since it is in the past, I really don't care since the RPA is ready."
Palermo nods and she says, "Since you have tied with Aria, I have high hopes for you. Don't you worry that I playing favorites to Ash, Alice. I also have high hopes for you as well. I will like to see either one of you become the Sevestar Queen."
"Thanks, Grandma." Alice says.
In the final round of the performance, Ash and Alice are competing together. As the voting goes on, the two are tying until Ash wins by 4 percent higher than Alice's score, so Ash is the one that wins the title of the Sevestar Queen.
"I guess I lost to you again. But it is really fun battling with you." Alice says after they are backstage.
"Same here. I was worried when your Froqueen and Merqueen did very well in the performance." Ash says.
After changing their clothes and switch Ash's gender, Ash and Alice go meet Lillie as they introduce her to their grandmother. Palermo is pleased to see that Ash finds his Princess and also feels sorry for her to be disowned by her family because of her grandson, but Lillie assures her that she doesn't care about her former family anymore.
"So Ash, how many badges do you need to get?" Alice asks.
"I have 11, so I need 3 more, and the next one will be at Purgh City." Ash says.
"Do you mind if I go with you for a bit? I will like to know Lillie well, too." Alice says.
"Sure. It will be fun knowing others." Lillie says.
As they arrive at Purgh City, Lillie sees a big hospital, she asks, "Is that a Hospital? It looks so big."
"I know." Ash says. "It is also a great place for our Pokemon to get a check-up."
As they head inside, they see a pink-haired boy playing with a Trubbish.
"Dr. Medicine?" Ash asks as he turns around and faces him, he smirks at Ash and he says, "What do you know. Prince Ash, Frozen Queen. Good to see you again."
"Same here, Tox." Alice says as they greet one another. After that, Ash introduces Lillie to him, and he also greets the girl and gives her a bow, causing her to be embarrassed. After the greetings are done, Ash asks, "So is your mother available? I want to have a gym battle."
"Oh, she will be at the front desk." Tox says. "So how many badges do you have?"
"11." Ash says. "And I need 3 more to face against the Elite 4."
"Good for you." Tox says. "You really are working hard for this."
As they go to the front desk, they see a Nurse Joy there.
"Hello Prince Red, what can I do for you?" Nurse Joy asks.
"Hello. I will need to heal my Pokemon." Ash places Pikachu, Sylveon, and 4 other Pokeballs on the counter as Nurse Joy treats them. After the process is done, he says, "And also, can I have a gym battle?"
Nurse Joy says, "A gym battle? Of course, we can have it."
As they are talking, Lillie asks Alice, "So the gym leader of this city is this Nurse Joy? I wasn't expecting a Nurse Joy to be a Gym Leader as well."
Alice says, "Yes. Her name is Amelia when being a gym leader. As you can see, Nurse Joy is a big family, but not all of them are blood-related."
Tox says, "Indeed. You can't imagine thousands of Nurse Joy in a family, that will be scary and disturbing as well."
"I see." Lillie says as they go watch Ash's gym battle.
Here is the new chapter, as Lillie greets three new friends. And like my other stories, Palermo is Ash's grandmother. If you don't remember in the previous chapters, Ash can participate in the Showcase in his female form. I hope you enjoy this chapter.
