Flashbacks Part 8

After the gym battle at Purgh City is over with Ash getting the 12th badge, Ash, Lillie, and Alice head towards the Solanet Town, a town that has a space center.

"What is that building?" Lillie asks as she sees the dome-like building, which is the space center.

"Oh, that is the Space Observation Center." Ash says. "The gym will be inside there."

Alice says, "Indeed. Solanet Gym is also a great place, you'll have an unexpected experience in there."

Lillie is confused at what Alice means, but then they hear a voice, "It sure is."

They turn around and see Eve comes and greets them. "Hi, guys."

"Sister Eve? What are you doing here?" Ash asks in confusion since she was supposed to train with Professor Pine in Otem Town.

"Oh, I heard that you only need two more badges to challenge the Elite 4, so I am here to watch the battle. And nice to meet you again, Alice." Eve says.

"You too. Eve." Alice says as they high-five at each other.

As they head inside, they can see a lot of space exhibitions around the place, Lillie marvels at the sight as she looks around.

"Look at this Meteorite, this is indeed Deoxy's meteorite?" Lillie asks, and Ash says, "Of course, I lot of scientists have identified this to be the real deal. So those who have a Deoxys can come and change their forms."

"Do you think that Deoxys really exist?" Lillie asks in confusion.

"Of course. If Arceus exists, so does it." Eve says.

"Yeah, not to mention that we have met 7 Arceus." Alice laughs as Lillie knows what they are implying.

Suddenly, Ash feels strong Psychic energy coming, so he turns around and sees a boy coming to them. The boy had a white shirt and a purple belt, and he has purple hair.

"Well if it isn't Prince Ash, Princess White, Frozen Queen, and Cunning Professor?" The boy comes as Ash greets him, "Hey Daniel. How have you been?"

"Good." He says. Then he turns to Lillie. "I guess it is the first time meeting. I am Daniel, the Future Teller."

"Future Teller?" Lillie asks. "What kind of nickname is that? No offense, I was just surprised."

"Daniel is Olympia's daughter." Eve says. "Olympia is also our aunt."

Lillie is shocked, she says, "So does that mean almost half of the gym leaders in the Kalos Region are Ketchums?"

Ash says, "Yeah, and that is why I was taken to the Kalos High. But I never thought I would have been miserable there."

Daniel says, "None of the gym leaders know, which is why they are mad when they hear the truth."

"By the way, Daniel is also a Psychic." Ash says.

"I have read about it, it is a group of people who can use Psychic powers. They can read minds or float in the air, and they were enemies of Aura Users thousands of years ago. They even started a war to determine the fate of the world."

"But one time, a male Aura Guardian and a Female Psychic fall in love, they exceed the hatred and live peacefully together." Alice says, "And it is our family."

"Wow...I never read that much about Aura Guardians and Psychic and their past." Lillie says.

"By the way, I need to get to the gym." Ash says as they walk towards the teleportation room.

"Lillie, since you are new here, as you know, the gym in this town is not on earth." Eve says.

"Not on Earth?" Lillie says in shock. "You mean...it is in space or something else?"

"It is a Satellite." Daniel says. "Amo is an astronaut as she watches the meteors and the aliens. She stays there for a long amount of time and that is why she wants to set the gym there."

"Wow..." Lillie says as they all head to the satellite. Amo greets them and then has a battle with Ash, while they are doing that, Lillie is looking at the stars in the sky and she is amazed by the sight, to her, it is a great experience. In the end, Ash wins and gets the badge, but Lillie is a little hesitant to leave, but they still head back down and bid farewell to Daniel.

Their last destination is Pixetty City. A place where art is filled in the place, and they all stop by at the city to an Art Museum.

"Wow, these paintings look amazing." Lillie says as she looks around the paintings on the walls.

"Indeed. The artists of the paintings are the best we can have in the whole Sevestar Region." Ash says as he looks around. "Let's see if I can find my painting."

"You had made one painting here in the museum?" Eve asks.

"Well, I participated in a competition along with Minami. We won the competition and Tyke promised us to show our painting in the museum. I wonder where is it?"

"You mean this one?" The four of them turn around and see Mark, Minami, and a boy with a dark blue shirt and brown pants. He has light blue hair and he also wears a bone necklace.

"Mark, Minami, Drandon. You guys are here, too?" Ash asks in shock, not knowing that Drandon is also here.

"Yeah, we are here to watch your last gym." Minami says, "Since this battle determines if you can face the Elite 4."

"Hello there, I am Drandon. I am Dragon Prince." Drandon says as he introduces to Lillie.

"Nice to meet you." Lillie bows. "I am Princess White."

While they are greeting each other, Eve says, "So you guys are here to watch the gym battle?"

"Of course." Mark says. "Mother has been excited to battle you, she thinks you have no problem to defeat the Elite 4."

"She really has high hopes on me. I guess I can't let her down, can I?" Ash laughs. "Before we go there, I want to show Lillie my painting here."

As they see the picture, Lillie asks, "So Ash, the paintings that you do are abstract?"

"Why yes, unlike real objects, I feel like abstract paintings can show more of the imagination." Ash says.

"That sounds cool, maybe I can have a painting of my own in this museum as well." Lillie says as everyone laughs.

Then they all go to find Tyke and then battle him. Ash immediately defeats him and gets the final badge.

"Now I can challenge the Elite 4." Ash says with a smile after seeing his final badge.

"Good, let's get to Mt. Iceat." Alice says as they send out their riding Pokemon and head there, Lillie of course is riding with Ash since they share Pokemon and Ash wants to be his prince that takes care of her.

At the stadium, all of Ash's friends are there waiting for them, including Diantha, Valerie, and, much to Lillie's shock, The Sinnoh Champion Cynthia is sitting beside her along with two girls that seem to be her daughters.

"Aunt Cynthia? What are you doing here?" Ash says in surprise at the sight of his other relative coming to see the battle.

"Your mother asked us to watch since you had all the badges."

"I see." Ash says. "Oh, Lillie. These two are my cousins, Verity, nicknamed Flash Princess, and this is Emily, nicknamed Chocolate Dragon."

"So you are the famous Princess Lillie. Nice to meet you." Verity says.

"Same here. But why are you naming Chocolate Dragon?" Lillie asks.

Emily says, "I have a Charmander and a Gible in my team. I want to be like my mother to have a Garchomp and Charizard is a cool Pokemon. As for Chocolate, well, a lot of people say that I have a chocolate heart."

Eve says, "Which means that she has a sweet personality, and a lot of people really like this personality."

"I see." Lillie says. "That does explain a lot."

They watch Ash defeating Terry, Wyree, Konomi, and then Frost, every battle is tough in Lillie's eyes, but Ash somehow manages to give out amazing victories that will give them a heart attack, but then, after the battle against Elite 4, it is the time that Ash has to face up against the Champion of the Sevestar, which is his mother, Aurora Ketchum.

Aurora looks at Ash with a smile and says, "Ash. You manage to come this far to battle me, I am surprised."

Ash says, "I know. I really want to beat you, so I can become the Pokemon Master that I wanted."

Aurora says, "Then we will have a 2 on 2 double battle."

"Huh?" Everyone is shocked at the revelation since usually champions are having 6 on 6 full battles and they aren't expecting this.

"But your opponent is going to be me." Aurora says as she changes into Arceus, much to Ash's surprise. "I am going to battle you myself?"

"What is she thinking?" David asks his mother, who replies, "It is obvious, Aurora wants to battle his own son herself."

Then a Giratina also appears besides Aurora, knowing that she will be her partner for the battle. Ash says, "I see, so you want me to battle with my full power."

He looks at Lillie, who nods and also goes there.

"Lillie?" Mark asks. "Where are you going?"

"I will battle beside Ash." Lillie says. "That is what he wants."

Everyone wants to stop her, but the cold glare that she gives them causing them to stop and let her go.

Ash and Lillie are on the field as the Referee states that the battle begins.

Aurora starts with a Judgement while Giratina uses Shadow Force. Ash quickly uses Wild Guard while Lillie uses Phantom Force to dodge Giratina and gives her the attack.

Ash uses a Flamethrower to hit Aurora, which turns into Water Type to reduce the damage.

Insey says with a scared tone, "I can't watch this battle."

Trenor comforts her and says, "Insey, everything will be fine."

Everyone then stays silent as they see the battle. Ash and Lillie then fall on the ground wounded thanks to Judgement.

Aurora says, "Is this only your limit? Then I am disappointed."

Ash and Lillie struggle to stand up, Ash says, "We can keep going."

Lillie says, "He is right, we won't give up till it is over!"

Suddenly, both Ash and Lillie glow as their Recover activate, and they are now returning to normal health. Ash goes for Judgement, which finally hits Aurora and Giratina.

"The battle has just started." Ash says, and Lillie nods in agreement.

Aurora smiles at the two children as he is glad to see how much they have grown, and then Ash and Lillie grab a Normalium Z and a Psychium Z at the same time, they do the Z Pose and they yell, "Breakneck Blitz!" "Shattered Psyche!"

Both moves cause both Ash and Lillie to charge at Aurora and Giratina, giving them the best shot as strong winds are blown around. Everyone is trying not to get blown away by the wind, as the smoke clears, Aurora is standing in her personal form while Giratina is down.

"What?" Ash and Lillie are shocked.

Aurora gives them a warm smile as she fall on the ground.

"Both Arceus and Giratina are unable to battle, Ash and Lillie are the winner! Which means Ash has become the champion!"

Ash and Lillie rush towards Aurora, they hold her up immediately.

"Mother, are you okay?" Ash asks as he tries to help her stand up.

"I am fine, it has been a while when I battle. I see your determination and your will. I can finally pass the Champion duties to you." Aurora says.

Ash sheds some tears and hugs her, as Aurora hugs back.

Here is the 8th Flashback, and Ash has finally defeated his mother and become the Champion, the next chapter will be the beginning of the RPA company.
