Now then, I'm not sure if this chapter is going to be the same length as the last chapter (Chapter One was ten pages. @_@;; ) but I hope it's just as good, if not better. I'm sick again so I'm sorry that it's going to take as long as it is to get this out. Now onto the…
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Inu-Yasha, they belong to Rumiko Takahashi. I am merely borrowing her creations for the soul purpose of amusing myself and other fanfiction fans. Please do not sue me because I'm quite poor seeing as I have no job and what little money I do get from my mother, is used to pay my doctor bills because I'm sickly. T_T
In this chapter a few original characters are going to pop up: Aya, Sasha, Lila, Mina, and Alex, who are all girls that work at Club Cosmo as well as our three main heroines, Kagome, Sango, and Rin. The new girls are all 21 or 22 so they do the table dancing and all the other things Kagome is unable to do because of her young age. Now then, please sit back, relax, and enjoy another installment of BNBL. ^_^

=Chapter Two=
What a Night…
Kagome arrived in front of Club Cosmo at 7pm, one hour before they opened to the public. She chained up her bike and walked inside. Before going into the ladies' room to change, she headed up to the bar to see what Miroku needed them all there early for. When she got up the stairs, she saw that everyone was already in the midst of talking. She felt embarrassment snake up through her body at her tardiness. 'How could I be late?? It's Seven!'
Miroku stopped speaking as he saw Kagome come up the stairs. "Ah, Kagome-chan, so good of you to join us."
"I am so sorry Miroku-kun, but I guess you wanted us here earlier then 7..." Kagome bowed down, before walking towards the bar. Rin, Aya, Sasha, Lila, Mina, and Alex all smiled to her and she smiled back. She saw a glimpse of Sango at the farthest end of the girls standing in front of the bar, an anxious look on her face. Kagome felt the guilt hit her again. She walked up to the opposite end of the girls then Sango, and looked over to Miroku.
"Um, Kagome. I did want you here seven."
Kagome looked at him questioningly. "But then, aren't I on time?"
Miroku pointed to the clock above the bar. It read 7:45pm. Kagome's eyes widened and she looked down at her watch. It had stopped!
'How could it have stopped?? Wait, why was the pin out? …It must've caught on my shirt and I didn't even realize! Ugh… I'm so stupid.'
Miroku caught the look of utter idiocy on Kagome's face and smiled to her gently. "It's ok Kagome, tardiness happens to the best of us. Besides, I wasn't really discussing anything too important. It was mainly just idle chatter about the rules still being the same, how new drinks and new side dishes have been added to the menu, and how Inuyasha is going to be the co-manager here starting tonight."
Kagome sweat dropped. 'You call that idle chatter?? New drinks I have to learn, new food I have to know about. Damn watch. Wait, didn't he say something about Inuyasha's going to be working here? Isn't that Sesshomaru's younger half-brother? Why's he going to work here? Isn't Sesshomaru's family wealthy?'
Miroku grabbed a box that was on the floor behind the bar and set it up on top. "Now then, onto the last matter tonight, but in my eyes, the most important." All the girls looked at him wide-eyed, fear coursing through all of them
"What's in the box, pervert?" Lila asked, not able to see the shipping label.
"Oh, just a surprise for you ladies. *ahem* Last week I thought of the perfect idea to attract more customers, and here it is." He opened the box and inside were new uniforms. Before he or anyone else pulled one out, he continued. "I decided that it'd be a good idea to get you all new uniforms, seeing as the public is used to the ones you wear now."
"Used to them?" Mina asked appalled.
"Miroku, we've only been open two months!" Alex shouted.
"Yeah!" Sasha and Aya chimed.
He raised his hands up in defense and smiled. "Now now ladies, I promise you that these new uniforms are a good thing. They are guaranteed to attract more business and that's great news for us."
"How so?" All eight girls asked annoyed.
"Because," he stated matter-of-factly, "more business equals more money, and more money equals bigger paychecks for all of you."
All the girls shut up. There was no fighting that kind of logic.
"I'm glad you see it my way. Now then, when I call your name, come and get your uniform and go into the back room to change. Mina. … Alex. … Sasha. … Aya. … Lila. … Sango. … Rin. … And last, but certainly not least, Kagome."
As the girls got their uniforms, they began to get a feeling in their gut that these were worse then before. After stripping down and suiting up into their new uniforms, an outcry of indignity burst from the back room, as the eight girls all stormed out and up to Miroku.
"What are these?!" Sango shouted at her boyfriend, who had a sudden look of bliss and what looked like blood coming from his left nostril.
"They're the latest fashion craze all over. Everyone loves the look and I know you all will too once you wear them."
"But WHY School Girl Uniforms Mi-onii!?" Rin cried.
"Because they're just so darn cute, especially on you San-koi."
Sango turned an even darker shade of red as she slammed Miroku on the head repeatedly until Lila and Mina pulled her off of him. Just as they got her calmed down, Sesshomaru walked out from the VIP room and smiled at Rin.
"Rin… You look absolutely stunning."
Rin blushed but smiled. 'I'm beginning to see what Miroku meant by us warming up to these new uniforms.' "Thanks Sesshie."
He nodded and walked over to Miroku to give him an icepack. Rin looked over hers and everyone else's uniforms. They weren't all that bad… if you got past all the skin they exposed. The table dancers all had identical outfits, but with different colored skirts. They wore white sleeveless blouses that tied right under the breasts and showed their mid-drifts before coming to an extremely short, pleated skirt with layers of ruffles underneath to hide their panties from view. Mina's skirt was pink, Alex's was yellow, Sasha's was red, Aya's was purple, and Lila's was blue. Their outfits were finished off with white garter belts holding up white stockings and white heels.
Kagome's outfit was simple and not as showing as the others'. She had a white, short-sleeved blouse on with a green sailor's bib and red sash, and a green, pleated mini-skirt, as well as white knee-socks and brown Mary Jane shoes. Sango's was a bit more revealing with a light blue, short-sleeved blouse, a dark blue sailor's sash, and an equally dark blue, pleated mini-skirt. She also wore dark blue knee-socks and black Mary Jane's. Lastly, Rin herself was wearing an identical outfit to Sango's, just in different colors. Her blouse was black and her sailor's sash was red. Her skirt was red as well and her socks and shoes were black. All in all, they were, in the long run, A LOT better than their old outfits.
Sesshomaru took the stage from Miroku and all the girls listened, knowing better than to upset him. "I know these outfits are different and seem more perverted, but they do cover you better than your old ones. Also, as Miroku said, my brother is going to begin working here while he attends school at Tokyo University. I'd say treat him with respect, but, that would mean he'd have to stop being an ass all of the time first. Besides, aside from Sango and Kagome, you're all either the same age or older than him, so you may treat him as you wish." He looked kindly to Sango and then Kagome. "The same goes for you two."
All the girls looked at each other before smiling, liking the idea of harassing the new guy.
"Now then, we will be opening in five minutes, I trust you all to be as good as you always are. If you need me, I will be in the VIP room." He had said this, looking directly at Rin, who was now blushing fiercely.
Miroku got up as Sesshomaru went back into the VIP room and smiled, somehow already ok from the beating he had received. "You heard the man ladies, get to work. And if you need me, I'll be with him." The girls all felt the urge to kill him as he once again, left all of the work up to them.
Sighing, the eight girls dispersed to go take chairs off tables, turn on different neon signs, and turn on rows of different colored lights. The last thing to be done was to turn the sign on the door from 'Closed' to 'Open'. Before Sango went to go and do that, Kagome had walked up to her, stopping her.
"Sango, um, I really want to apologize for earlier. I know you're only looking out for me and for my best interests, and I'm sorry for yelling. It's just, for the first time, I'm actually able to do what I want, not what my mother wants. For the first time, I may be able to have a real boyfriend, not some secretive, short-lived fling like I had with Hojo. So, when I told you about Kouga, I was so happy, and I just wanted you to be happy for and with me, and when you told me to stay away, I felt betrayed because… Well because, you're like my sister, and for you to tell me to stay away from someone I truly care about, it felt like you were telling me that I could never see you again, or Miroku again, or Rin again. And it hurt. But, I know you only would've told me 'no' if there really was a good reason for me not to be with him. I'm sorry Sango-chan, can you forgive me?"
Sango smiled and hugged her surrogate little sister. "Apology accepted. You're very much forgiven. I'm glad you realize that the only reason I'm hard on you is because I care and worry about you. The last thing I want is for you to end up hurt."
Kagome hugged her friend back, happy that they were back on good terms. Kagome released Sango to go turn the sign over, before the two of them walked back over to the bar. No sooner were they behind it, guys began to pour in from the front door. Kagome looked to Sango with a twitch in her eye.
"Why do I have a feeling your boyfriend spread the word about us getting new uniforms?"
Sango looked back to her, equally twitching. "Because he's a major pervert that doesn't know when to quit… You'd think that now that he had me he'd let up a little." Sango rolled her eyes and sighed.
"No such luck."
The two bowed their heads in defeat as Club Cosmo began to run in full swing. For most of the night Kagome and Sango were kept busy filling food and drink orders given to them by the waitresses. Aya, Sasha, Alex, Mina, and Lila were in charge of waiting the main floor while Rin did the VIP room. Kagome and Sango filled the drinks and passed them along to whichever girl gave them the order, while the cooks in the back sent out the food as it was finished. Thanks to their new outfits, business was booming, and there was barely any time to rest. Demand had become so bad out on the floor that Sango had to leave from behind the bar and wait tables as well, leaving Kagome all alone behind the bar. She was beginning to wonder what happened to the new help they were supposed to have and where Miroku was. It wasn't fair to leave all of the girls to work, but so much for male chivalry.
Kagome was filling another drink order for a person at the bar, but she had a bad feeling she was mixing it up with another order she received from Aya. As she turned around and handed the man at the bar his drink, he eyed her body for the fifth time that night. She began to feel uncomfortable, especially when it seemed all the other guys at the bar were following him in suit. Said man took his supposed-to-be glass of whisky, but as he downed half of it he began to cough and sputter. Kagome looked at him fearfully. 'Oh No! I Mixed His Order Up Didn't I?!'
The man stopped coughing and slammed the glass down hard onto the bar. "What the hell bitch?! I Said I Wanted Whiskey! Not Whatever This Shit Is!!"
Kagome could feel herself want to cry. "I'm so sorry sir, I didn't mean to mix up your order with someone else's. It's just so busy here tonight and--"
"SHUT UP!" He stood up and threw the glass at Kagome's head. She was barely able to dodge the offending glassware as it hit the wall and shattered, raining glass shards and alcohol down upon her. She was able to cover the top of her head with her arms but this caused her arms to get all cut up as well as her left cheek. As the alcohol also hit her, she immediately felt all of her cuts burn from the pungent smelling liquor.
Kagome began to feel the tears in her eyes threaten to spill over causing her to become weak and fall to her knees. Bad idea as this caused her legs to get cut up as well, causing her to cry out slightly in pain.
The clearly drunk man started to laugh at her. "Serves you right girly! Maybe next time you'll get your orders straight!"
Kagome began to pull herself up, using the bar as support, still trying to not cry. The pain began to sear through her body as the shards of glass that were embedded in her legs and arms were protesting her movement. Once to her feet she looked around to see if any of the girls saw what was going on and would come save her, but the music was far too loud for any of them to notice. Looking back over to the man she tried as calmly as she could to apologize again.
"I…I am very s-sorry for mixing up your order."
This apparently wasn't good enough for the man. His arm shot out and grabbed Kagome's collar, bringing her face inches from his.
"Sure you are, but what are you gonna do about it?" Kagome wanted to die from the horrible reek of alcohol on his breath. The man looked down to Kagome's breasts, now able to see through her shirt to her bra thanks to it being wet. Kagome's eyes widened in fear. He looked back up to her eyes and smiled evilly. "I know, how's about you give me a little strip show, aye?"
Kagome tried to protest but her oxygen supply was being severely cut off. Smirking, he reached his free hand to the bottom of her shirt, readying to pull it off of her. "Here, I'll even help you."
Never before was Kagome filled with such fear as she was now. Why were none of the other men at the bar stopping him. She glanced around and saw the lust in their eyes as well. They were all too drunk and horny to even process that she was being hurt. Just as she felt her shirt being raised, she managed to choke out a small sob.
"…help…"
Kagome's shirt was already to her chest as her head began to spin. Her vision blurred from her lack of air and her blood loss. Just as she thought all hope was lost, a man in red cargo pants, a white t-shirt, and long white hair grabbed her from the drunkard. At first Kagome thought he was a hallucination, but as she looked up at her savior's face, and saw him looking back at hers, she came to the conclusion he was real. As the drunk's grip on her was released she felt air rush into her lungs at painfully fast speeds. It made her even dizzier and before she was able to comprehend anything else, Kagome passed out in the stranger's arms.
~*~
Inuyasha walked into Club Cosmo around 9:30pm, and saw that the entire place was packed. He walked up the stairs and went into the VIP room where Miroku and Sesshomaru were residing. Miroku greeted him and his brother just gave him a small grunt. Inuyasha gave an equally small grunt to his brother before talking to Miroku.
"So, what am I supposed to do here?" Inuyasha asked, not clear on his instructions.
Miroku smiled as he sipped his water. "Nothing really. The girls usually take full run of the club and I usually just sit back here and converse with the costumers."
Inuyasha cocked an eyebrow at him. "Ok… But don't you think that's a little unfair to the girls? There's only eight of them right?"
"Yes, well, they seem to manage. Aya, Sasha, Mina, Alex, and Lila waitress the main floor and do the entertainment when the time comes, Rin waitresses up here, and Sango and Kagome work behind the bar. Sango sometimes leaves to waitress the main floor if it's busy, and only on rare occasions is Kagome allowed to leave from behind the bar."
"Why's that?" Inu asked, completely curious.
Miroku made a face which meant for Sesshomaru to take over. "Due to the fact that she is only 18, we make it a rule that she is to stay behind the bar as much as possible."
He was shocked. They were allowing an 18 year old to work here?! That's insane! He shook his head. He was about to speak up when a girl entered into the room. The three guys looked over to see Rin headed towards them. She smiled at Inuyasha as she sat down next to Sesshomaru.
"Inuyasha, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Rin. Rin, this is my little brother, Inuyasha."
Rin smiled happily, extending her hand to him. "I'm so glad to finally meet you Inuyasha."
He took her hand and gently shook it. "Yeah, same here."
Miroku took the stage from there and gave Inuyasha a quick rundown on the rules, ending with, "…And Most Importantly, NONE of the customers are to touch the girls under ANY circumstances." Inuyasha nodded, understanding exactly why this rule was put in place. He glanced over to his brother's woman noticing how the uniforms were clearly objectifying. He then saw that the two had begun to make out, causing shivers to run down his spine.
"Miroku, I think I'm gonna go out and take a look around."
Miroku nodded as Inuyasha got up and exited the room. He looked out to the main floor before hearing noise coming from his right. He looked over and saw the bar and a girl being harassed by a mob of clearly drunk men. At first he didn't do anything, that was until a glass was thrown at her. He saw it shatter all over her, cutting her up and drenching her. He went to make his way to the bar, when a group of men ran into him, knocking him into their group. He struggled to break free, not taking his eyes off of the girl. She was now in the hands of the man who threw the glass clearly not able to breathe. He was grabbing at the edge of her shirt and as Inuyasha pushed his way out of the men, he heard her choke out the weakest plea he'd ever heard. It was enough to make his blood boil, as he practically ran to her. He wasn't exactly sure what drove him to react like this, seeing as he didn't even know who she was, but when he saw how she was being manhandled, it pushed all that out of his mind. As he got behind the bar, he grabbed her from behind, making sure she wouldn't fall. He looked down at her and saw she was losing consciousness. He grabbed the drunk man's hand and twisted his hand free of her collar. The man cried out in pain as Inuyasha almost broke his hand, and as he let her go, Inu heard her begin to gasp for air. Inuyasha began to growl as the drunkard was yelling a string of obscenities. Inu ignored the man and rushed the girl out from behind the bar and into the VIP room. He glanced down at her and saw that she had passed out. This was not good.
As he ran into the room, he yelled for Miroku. Luckily the room wasn't crowded so he set the hurt girl onto a vacant table and yelled for him again. Miroku ran to the other side of the room and almost died as he saw Kagome.
"Oh My… What Happened To Her?!"
Sesshomaru and Rin came up behind Miroku and Rin let out a shriek. "Kagome!!"
Inuyasha looked down, 'So this is Kagome…' He looked to Miroku and was about to explain what he witnessed when the other people of the room began to crowd them. He shot a glare at the people causing Miroku to quickly escort all of the people out. Rin shut the doors behind the unwanted as Inuyasha began to explain everything to the three.
Miroku looked very unpleased. "Rin, go take over for Kagome, I'm closing this room for the rest of the night. Inuyasha, go with Sesshomaru and point out who did this to her. I'm going to call the authorities and an ambulance. After you're done showing Sesshomaru who did it, come back here and watch her. Sesshomaru, I want you to only watch the perpetrator until authorities arrive. Please stay behind the bar with my little sister so this does not happen to her as well." As the three got their orders, they quickly left the room.
Miroku looked sadly to his friend. "I'm so sorry about this Kagome…" With that he dialed the police on his cell phone and then dialed for an ambulance. No sooner was he off the phone, had Inuyasha came back into the room. "Inuyasha, please watch over her as I go wait outside for the police and the paramedics."
"Right."
Miroku went to leave, but as he got to the door, he stopped and turned around. "Thank you for saving her Inuyasha."
He only nodded before Miroku left the room and building, to wait outside. Inuyasha looked down to Kagome and saw that she was still bleeding profusely. He took a bandanna out of his pocket and began to rip it into strips. He then proceeded to take the glass out of her arms and tie the strips around her arms. After he was done he moved to her legs and did the same process. The quality of the cuts were worse then the quantity. How they were so bad he wasn't sure, but all he really knew was that she needed help.
Inuyasha checked to make sure she was still breathing and was thankful she was. He noticed bruises around her neck were beginning to form and that there was still glass in her hair. He gently sat her up and took the glass out of her hair, cutting himself on the jagged shards every once in a while. Just as he finished, Miroku rushed in, letting Inuyasha know that the paramedics had arrived. Carefully picking up Kagome, Inuyasha exited the room and went out to the ambulance. Once out there, the medical assistants took Kagome from him and placed her on a stretcher.
"Is anyone going with her?" the first paramedic questioned.
Miroku looked to Inuyasha. "I can't leave, I still have to deal with the police and help run everything."
"I'll go." Inu offered. Rin ran out with Kagome's purse and handed it to Inuyasha as the second paramedic led him into the ambulance where Kagome was already inside. He and the two got in and closed the doors. As soon as he sat down, the ambulance took off to the hospital.
Inuyasha sat in the back corner, making sure he was out of the way. He looked down at the small purse he held, not sure why Rin gave it to him. He opened it up and found her driver's license and her medical I.D. card. 'That's why…'
"Sir?" Number one asked.
"Inuyasha."
"Inuyasha, I'm Mandy. Do you know what her blood type is, she needs some right away."
Inuyasha looked down to the I.D. "AB negative."
Mandy looked over to her partner who was hooking Kagome up to an oxygen tank. "Ron do we have any in the chest?"
"No we don't."
Inuyasha paled. 'They don't have any of her blood?'
"Shit." Mandy looked over to Inuyasha. "Inuyasha, what's your blood type?"
He looked at her strangely. "Why?"
"Because, if you match your friend here, we can start giving her blood right away."
Inuyasha's eyes widened. 'They're able to do that?' He pulled out his own medical I.D. from his wallet and what he saw some how made relief flood over his entire being. "I…I match. I'm AB-."
"Perfect, we're going to be at the hospital in a minute, now I have to ask you, do you smoke, do drugs, have HIV/AIDs, cancer, or any other incurable diseases that may make your blood impure?"
"No, no I don't have or do any of those things."
"Good. Are you up to date on all of your vaccinations and are you currently sick?"
"Yes and no."
Ron gave Mandy a smile before turning to Inu. "Then your friend here is going to be ok. We've been having a shortage of your blood type in the hospital as well as on the ambulances."
"I see…"
They arrived at the E.R. and Mandy and Ron quickly opened the doors. Inuyasha jumped out and got out of the way as they lifted Kagome's stretcher out. They rolled her into the emergency room, Inuyasha trailing behind them. Once inside, Kagome was taken up to the second floor and put into a room. They placed her on the bed and began to fix up her wounds. Inuyasha wanted to stand by and watch, but one of the nurses pulled him away so she could get some information from him.
"What's your name?"
"Inuyasha Seki."
"Age?"
"21."
"Are you the blood donor?"
"Yes."
"What type are you and the lady?"
"AB-."
"What's her name?"
Inuyasha looked down at her driver's license. "Kagome Higurashi."
"Age?"
"18."
"What's your relation to her?"
"Co-worker."
"Do you know how she got hurt?"
"At work. She works at the night club, Club Cosmo, and one of the drunks began to manhandle her."
"I see. Do you know anything about her family? Any emergency numbers?"
"N-No, I've only just met her."
"I see. Do you know from who we can obtain this information from?"
"The manager of Club Cosmo, Miroku Kamiya."
"Do you know the phone number?"
"No, but I know his cell phone number."
"What is it?"
"462-737-8378."
"Thank you."
Inuyasha nodded and the nurse left. He looked back over to where Kagome lie. She was now hooked up to a respirator, an I.V. feeding her nutrients, a heart monitor, and was currently being bandaged up. Another person walked up to him, this time a man. "Are you the donor?"
"Yes, I'm Inuyasha."
"Inuyasha, I'm Dr. Cho." They shook hands and Dr. Cho realized that Inuyasha's hands were slightly bleeding. "Did you know you're bleeding?"
He looked down at his hands and realized he was. "No I didn't. Is that bad? Am I unable to help Kagome now?"
The doctor smiled. "No, it's ok. You can still give Kagome the blood transfusion, your hands just need to be bandaged up."
He called over a nurse who proceeded to wash his hands clean, check for glass, and then bandage them up. There were some small cuts on his arms too, probably from glass on her uniform. His arms were cleaned and bandaged too before he was told to lay down on the bed that was placed next to Kagome's. He did so and the doctor walked over to his other side. "There, that's better. Now then, this is Jen. She's the nurse that's going to be tending to you and Kagome. See that machine between you two?"
Inuyasha turned from the doctor to a machine that was placed on a table between the beds. "Yeah."
"That's a blood purifier. It will purify your blood as it's transferred from your arm to Kagome's. Now just lay back and relax. I'm going to hook you up to a heart monitor, much like Kagome's, just to be sure you're going to be alright. While I'm doing this, Jen is going to hook you up."
Inuyasha nodded and looked over to Jen. She cleaned his arm and stuck an I.V. end into one of his veins. She then secured it with some tape. After she was done she took a tube out of the blood purifier and connected it into the I.V. end. She did the same thing to Kagome before flipping a switch, bringing the machine to life. He watched as his blood coursed up through the tube and into the machine. About a minute later, he saw the blood course down Kagome's tube and disappear into her arm. He looked to his other side and saw that his finger was already hooked up to the heart monitor. He watched the lines going up and down as it quietly beeped. He began to feel a little dizzy and this didn't go unnoticed by Dr. Cho.
"You're going to get a little dizzy from the loss of blood, so I think I'm going to have Jen hook you up to an I.V. of nutrients as well. Get some sleep Inuyasha, you're going to need it."
"Right. Thanks doc."
"No problem."
With that Inuyasha was hooked up to the I.V. in his other arm and as the nurse left the room with the doctor, she dimmed the lights and smiled. He slowly closed his eyes and fell into a light sleep.

Back at Club Cosmo, Miroku was forced to close early that night. The last few costumers left and Miroku shut and locked the doors. He turned the sign to 'Closed' and glanced at his watch. '10pm'. As he walked back up the steps, Sesshomaru was cleaning up the broken glass with a broom and dustpan. All the girls, aside from Rin, didn't know what was going on, and Rin was told not to tell them yet. Miroku called all the girls to a table near the bar and as they all got there, they noticed Kagome wasn't around.
"Hey lecher, where's Kagome?" Lila asked.
"Yeah and what's with closing early?" Aya butted.
Sasha looked over to Sesshomaru. "And what's Sesshie-kins cleaning up?"
Sango looked over to Sesshomaru as well and saw him dump a dustpan full of glass into the trash. She looked up and saw liquid splattered all over the wall behind the bar. "Miroku, what's all over the wall?"
Mina looked to Rin and saw a sad look on her face. "And what's wrong with Rin?"
Lastly Alex looked up to the door of the VIP room and saw blood on the door handle. Paled she asked, "And…w-why's there blood on the d-door to the VIP room?"
All the girls looked over to see what Alex saw, and equally paled. Miroku looked to the girls with as steady of a face he could muster. "Ladies, the reason we've closed early tonight is the same reason there's blood on the door, liquor on the wall, glass on the floor behind the bar, an upset Rin, and a missing Kagome…"
None of the six liked where he was going with this.
"It also has to do with why the police came and escorted out one of our costumers to the station and why an ambulance came to pick up two of our co-workers." Miroku took a deep breath. "Kagome was hurt tonight by a drunkard and is right now at the hospital with Inuyasha. He was able to save her before she was hurt anymore then she already was."
All the girls gasped and wanted to cry. Miroku began to tell them what Inuyasha told him and by the end all the girls wanted to run to the hospital to see Kagome and go kill the jerk that did it to her. Sesshomaru was done cleaning up the glass and the spilt liquor, so he walked up to the group.
"I know this is going to sound harsh, but all of you need to help clean up the club right now. You'll have to worry about Kagome later. She's in safe hands at the hospital and is going to be fine. The wounds she sustained were not serious or life threatening, so you all need to calm down and concentrate on the job at hand."
The girls all nodded, knowing he was right. Just as Miroku was going to issue out the different duties, his cell began to ring. He walked away from the group and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Is this Miroku Kamiya?"
"Yes it is, may I please ask who's calling?"
"This is Sengoku Jidai Hospital. We were given this number to call and ask you about information needed for Kagome Higurashi."
"Oh hello. Yes, what information do you need?"
"We need to know her home address, who to contact concerning her insurance, standard procedure such as that."
"I see. One moment please." Miroku placed his thumb over the mouth piece and looked over to Sango. "San-koi, come here please."
Sango walked over to him questioningly, "Yeah Mi-koi?"
"The hospital is on the phone and you need to give them information about Kagome. You know it all better than I do."
Sango's eyes widened and nodded, taking the phone from him. "Hello?"
"Who is this I am speaking to?"
"I'm Sango Himimiya. Miroku told me to give you information concerning Kagome."
"Yes, I need to know the following…" The nurse began to ask Sango the questions and information she needed, and Sango calmly answered all of them as best as she could. When the nurse was done she asked Sango if she had any questions.
"Yes, I do. Do you know how Kagome is doing?"
"Right now she's listed as stable and the man she came in with, Inuyasha Seki, is also stable. They're both in a room right now."
"What's the room number?"
"Room 204. You're not going to be able to visit them until tomorrow. It's too late right now, plus Kagome is unconscious."
"I see. Do you know how we can find out if we can see them tomorrow?"
"You can call at around 10 tomorrow morning. The blood transfusion should be done by then."
"B-blood transfusion?"
"Yes. Kagome lost a bit of blood and we're low on her blood type, AB-, here at the hospital, but luckily your friend Inuyasha has the same blood type. We're transfusing the blood from him to her right now."
"Oh…Ok. Um, thank you."
"No problem, good night."
"Good night."
Sango hung up Miroku's cell phone and turned around to see all eyes on her. She took a calming breath. "Kagome is stable, as is Inuyasha. Apparently he's giving her his blood and we can call tomorrow morning at 10 to see if we can go see them. Their room is room 204."
Everyone nodded before Sango handed Miroku his phone back and held onto him, trying not to cry. He hugged her gently and looked to Sesshomaru, who was doing the same to Rin. The girls hugged onto each other and wished this night was over.
They were soon cleaning everything up and left the bar around 11pm. Miroku shut off the lights and locked up the club. He turned to his girlfriend and took her hand in his as they began to walk to his car. Everyone else had gone and as Miroku was starting the car, Sango looked over to him pitifully.
"Miroku?"
"Hn?"
"Um…Do you think I can stay at your apartment tonight? I-I don't wanna go back to the dorm room and be alone."
Miroku genuinely smiled and placed his hand on her knee. "Of course you can Sango."
Sango smiled and rested her head on his shoulder as they drove to his apartment. She was glad that Miroku wasn't being a pervert about it, but she figured it was because he was feeling sad too. Kagome was like everyone's little sister, and they all looked out for her, and for her to be hurt like this, really struck home. They pulled up in front of the apartment and went inside. Once in, they walked into his bedroom. Sango went into his closet where she kept some of her clothes when she stayed over. She pulled down a nightgown and changed into it while Miroku pulled a pair of pajama pants out of a drawer and changed into them.
Miroku walked over to Sango and hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. "You alright?"
Sango nodded. "Yeah. Just worried. And I have a headache."
Miroku smiled a bit perversely. "Well, I know one way to shed you of your worries and your headache."
Sango turned around in his arms. "Oh?"
He smiled brightly. "Yep!"
"How?"
Miroku picked her up into his arms and set her down on the bed. He placed himself above her. "Oh I think you know how."
Sango began to blush and lightly slapped him on the cheek. "Pervert."
"You know you like it."
Miroku and Sango began to help one another feel better, and as they fell asleep in each others arms, both were glad to have company that night.
=End Chapter Two=
========================================================
A/N: Yay! It's the end of chapter two! :looks around to see a million people giving her evil glares: .::^.^::. *hwie!* Scary! :gets bonked on the head by her muse: Itai… Um, anyways, please don't kill me, I promise everything will be ok. Also, incase you've already started reading this fic, I changed a few things. Firstly, Kagome has another art class after her crafts one, it's a drawing class. Also, I made Inuyasha single because A) I hate Kikyo and B) it's too hard to have her be in the picture…as of right now. She's now just his crazy ex-fiancée. *coughs* Um, what else… Oh yes, if that happens to be ANYONE'S cell or house number, it's PURELY coincidental, especially because I took my cell phone and used the number keys to spell out his phone number. 462-737-8378 spells out "I'm a pervert". No joke. Look at any phone key pad and it'll spell that out. ^_^; Sorry, I couldn't resist. Just like I could resist making the last four digits of my cell number spell out ZERO. ^^;;;;; Um, I'm trying to think if there was anything else I thought I should explain… OH! At the end part with Sango and Miroku (so cute!), and Sango says she has a headache, and Miroku plans to get rid of it by having sex with her… Yeah, apparently, if you have a headache, go have an orgasm and it'll go away. Apparently it lets loose natural pain killers inside your body and gets rid of headaches… _ I really have to wonder how people come up with these things… But yes, true fact. That's about it, other then this, please review. ^_^ More coming soon, but I'm going to college for my spring break to visit my onii-chan, so I might not accomplish much. Many apologies. T_T;; That's all. See you in ten days or so! ^_^ Ja-ne! Much Love, Zero Saotome
PS- I am fully aware that they're quite OOC, but hey, it's my fic, it's AU, it goes. _;; Sorry.
