A Weekend of Inspection Part 2
Ash and his friends are now at Purgh City after having a game of nice golf competition, they get to the hospital as Paul asks, "So this time we are going inside the hospital? Since it is where the gym is?"
Ash says, "You're right about that." After getting to the lobby of the hospital, they see Tox who is waiting for them at the waiting seats.
"Hey, guys. You have finally arrived." Tox says.
"Sorry, since we just finished inspecting East." Eve says. "Tox, how is your clinical practice with your doctor?"
"It is very tiring as I need to remember a lot." Tox says with a smile. "But Ash, there are some problems in the operation room that will need your existence."
"Oh, is it something that the doctors can't handle? Alright. I'll go help them out. Lillie, you should be the one that helps me inspect Tox."
"Okay." Lillie says as Ash leaves them alone, Serena is confused as she asks, " What is that about?"
Mark says, "Ash is also a doctor here in this Purgh Hospital, and some doctors also need his assistance when they are in trouble."
Gladion asks, "Are you serious about it? He is the same age as us and he is also a doctor?"
Tox says, "He is an Arceus after all, I guess I will have to battle you for this inspection, Lillie."
"Just because I am not Ash doesn't mean I am weaker than him after all." Lillie says as they head into the elevator. Once they reach the roof, they can see a giant battlefield.
"So this is the gym battlefield?" Paul looks around and asks. "Why are the battlefields are big? I mean...is there a purpose for that?"
"You know, I never asked our mother about that." Mark says.
"The battlefield here is at the roof because we don't want to wake up the patients with the noise of the battle. It turns out to be the best spot."
Lillie says, "Before Tox is the gym leader, the original gym leader is no other than Nurse Joy, who is the nurse joy in our school."
Serena says, "Really? Is a nurse Joy being that strong? We only know that they can heal Pokemon, but we never battled them before..."
Tox takes out Needles of the Toxic and asks, "Lillie, should we begin?"
"Sure." Lillie says.
In the operating room, Ash is facing the Snorlax on the operation table, who is in pain. The other surgeons are starting to cut the body as Ash observes them, he carefully gives out commands so that they won't do anything wrong to make the Snorlax in pain.
As the operator takes out the Heavy Metal from his belly, Ash examines it and says, "So that is why his stomach is aching...Heavy Metal is very hard, not even the Gastro Acid in the body can digest it..." With the problem being solved, Ash then tells the operators to stitch the body back.
Once the Snorlax is back to normal, he gives Ash a bear hug. Ash is a little uncomfortable and he says, "I know you are happy, Snorlax. But don't try to eat that again."
After giving the Snorlax back to its trainer, Ash excuses himself as he heads to the roof. He manages to see how Lillie injects the Needles in Tox's arm, causing his own needles to fall to the ground.
"I guess my future wife has finished inspecting, huh?" Ash says as they turn to Ash.
"Ash! You're back." Lillie shares a kiss as Emily asks, "How is the surgery?"
"The Snorlax is fine now, it is thanks to our best surgeons that make it a success." Ash says with a smile.
"Don't forget your leading also made the operation a success." Mark says as they head downstairs and bid farewell to Tox.
The next place they arrive is Isolate Town, a town located in the middle of the desert. Paul and Gladion haven't been to the Pokemon Racing Stadium since they were doing the Knight Challenge in the desert, so they decide to check it out."
"Are you saying that the Racing Stadium is the gym of the Isolate Town?" Serena asks.
"Of course, because Professor Nora likes Pokemon racing as well.
"Hey, brother." Trenor rides a Mudsdale and he greets them. "You have finally arrived, I have been waiting for you guys to come."
"Hey, Trenor. How is the new season in the gym?" Ash asks.
"The Jousting Season is really great they sure make some great shows." Trenor smiles as he jumps off the horse and recalls the Pokemon.
Serena asks, "So this Stadium is your property as well? Ash?"
Alice says, "I guess it is not that surprising anymore. But this place belongs to Trenor just like how FS Resort belongs to Mark. This place is not only set as a gym but it is also set as a stadium for all kinds of competition related to Pokemon Riding."
Eve says, "With our relation with Ash and Trenor, we always get the free tickets to the special races, which is why some of you guys can come here and watch without paying anything."
Gladion says, "Seriously? I thought that people pay a lot of money for these races..."
Ash says, "There aren't any fees for the seats in the Racing stadiums, people paid a lot of money because they were gambling about who might be the winner of the race."
"Oh, that might be true." Emily says. Ash turns to Lillie and asks, "So Lillie, just like the battle with Tox, can you be the one that inspects Trenor?"
"Before I agree, I want to know are there any activities in the stadium for today?" Lillie asks Trenor, who says, "Nope, I had to make sure that the stadium is empty so that you can inspect my gym without any problems."
"Good. But since we are battling in this kind of place, how about we do something different this time?" Lillie asks as the two of them leave the group alone. Ash says, "I guess Lillie is getting serious about this."
"What do you mean by that?" Gladion asks. "More importantly, where are they going?"
"You'll see, now let's go to the best seats in the stadium." Ash says as they head there. Once they are sit down on the seats, they see something that shocks their minds.
Trenor, who wears a cowboy hat and riding a Mudsdale appears while Lillie, who has a cowgirl outfit riding Rohorse arrives at the field, they both have their Ropes of the Wild ready.
"Wait, what are they doing?" Paul asks. "Why is it suddenly a western-style film?"
Ash says, "Trenor usually battles in Double Battles, and nothing is better than having a rodeo-themed battle like this one."
Gladion says, "Isn't it dangerous? What if she falls off the horse?"
Ash sighs as he knows how overprotective Gladion is when it comes to his sister, he sometimes hopes that being with Emily will make him change and trusts him like what couples will do.
"Well, to be honest..." Ash says as they already start battling with their Pokemon, after they lost their third Pokemon, they see that both Pokemon appear on the field and they are holding the reins tight until their fourth Pokemon is down, they then take out their weapons and they start to fight. Lillie and Trenor are trying to grab the ropes from each other while Mudsdale and Rohorse are fighting as well.
"I don't know why, but this looks exciting." Serena says in awe.
"Me too." Emily says. "I think I like this kind of battle."
In the end, Trenor's rope goes to the ground as Lillie wins. They both jump off their horses and they shake hands with each other.
"Good game." Trenor says. "You really are a good cowgirl."
"You are not bad as well." Lillie smiles.
As the others greet them, Gladion says, "So how is my cowgirl sister?"
"Are you going to teasing me?" Lillie pouts. "It is fun to be one and maybe you should try it."
They laugh a little and then they bid farewell to Trenor, they are using the Teleportation panels to the next place, which is Mt. Fortana.
In Mt. Fortana, they arrive at the entrance of a cave, which is located almost at the peak of the mountain. Paul asks, "So it is like Cyllage City that the gym is inside a cave?"
"You're right. But this isn't a normal cave." Drandon says.
"But it looks normal to me, why are you saying like that?"
"Why don't we show you?" Luke comes and says, "Hey everyone. You have finally come."
Ash says, "Before we get into the cave, I want to make sure there are no accidents. Are the walls starting to collapse?"
"You don't need to worry about that. My Diancie fixed it and it also creates more stuff on the walls for the greater purpose." Luke says.
"What do you mean more stuff? What are on the walls?" Emily asks.
"You'll see." Luke says as he brings the group inside the gym, and they are surprised to see all kinds of jewels and crystals attaching to the solid wall. They are shining so bright that the group could never take their eyes off them. Serena says, "Amazing...this place is beautiful."
Mark says, "This is also where the jewelry from the RPA comes from, Mt. Fortana is filled with minerals for jewels and fossils. Though you can see a lot of different minerals on the walls, we can't take them for fear that the cave might collapse. We also didn't want others to come here for the jewels, so RPA sold the jewelry at a cheap price."
"I think I got it, so you sold it at a cheap price so that people will buy your pieces of jewelry more than the other brands that might be abusing the minerals here." Paul says. "That was nice of you guys if you ask me."
Ash says, "So Lillie, do you want to do the honors by battling against Luke?"
"I don't see why not." Lillie says with a shrug. "Luke, I'll be the one that inspects you with a full six-on-six battle."
Luke smiles and says, "I don't see the reason not to, but I am not going to hold back since I know what you are capable of."
Once Lillie and Luke go to the battlefield, which is located at the crater of the mountain, Ash manages to grab a piece of Saphire and he starts to carve the piece of jewel.
"Ash? Are you carving something for Lillie again?" Alice asks with a smile. "You do know how many jewels you have carved for her during these years."
"I know, but I wasn't carving the jewel for her this time. Since May, Drew, Dawn and Paul learn their errors and we have become friends, I think it is better that I make some welcoming gifts for them to show my gratitude."
"That is so nice of you." Eve says. "No wonder you are being loved by everyone in the class."
Once Ash creates 4 kinds of accessories, they also see Lillie won the battle with Luke having his Shield of the Mountains down on the ground. After they are done, they bid farewell to Luke as they are quickly heading to the next place.
