New Transfer Students
On the next day of school, the group has heard from Ash and Lillie that there are new students that are coming to their class, and they are excited to see who the new students are and what they look like.
"Did Mother tell you the names of the new transfer students?" Minami asks, and Ash says, "I tried to ask her, but she refuses to tell me."
"She didn't want to ruin our surprise." Lillie says, "But here they are."
Just then, as they are seated, Professor Reshow comes into the room and he says, "Okay, class. Today, we have two new students that will be joining our class, please welcome our two new students: Hop and Chloe!"
Ash and those from Kalos are surprised at the mention of both names, and Hop and Chloe walk into the room and Hop says, "My name is Hop, and I dream to be a Professor, it will be nice to be here with you."
As everyone claps, Chloe is the next one to introduce herself, and she says, "My name is Chloe, I didn't have a dream yet, which is why I want to join this school to find out what my dream is."
The others also give her some claps, much to her surprise. Reshow says, "Thank you for introducing yourselves. Now Hop, you can sit next to our Prince Red: Ash Ketchum. And Chloe, you can sit next to our Princess White: Lillie Aether."
The two nod as they have a seat beside them. Ash smiles at Hop and says, "I was wondering when you are going to show up."
"I know, mate." Hop says.
Lillie turns to Chloe and says, "You don't need to worry about everything, I will help you as much as we can."
Chloe just gives a nod as they start their class today.
During the break time, Ash and Lillie introduce Hop and Chloe to the group. Ash says, "Hop and Chloe are the only friends that I have back in the Kalos High, Hop, Chloe, they are my true friends and they are also the Gym Leaders and Elite 4 of the region."
"It is nice to meet all of you." Hop says, but just as he notices Serena, Gladion, Paul, Drew, May and Dawn, Hop flinches and he says, "Hey, Ash. Why didn't you tell me that those six are here as well?"
"Don't worry, we have become friends in the end." Ash says, Gladion says, "So you have been friends with Ash ever since we are still in the Kalos High?"
Hop says, "Of course, you do know how hard it is to act mean to Ash since what you all did to him is wrong. Before Lillie comes to Kalos High, I was the only friend that Ahs has and I have been helping him with some of the detentions."
"So that is why you two seem to be close...what about you, Chloe?" May asks.
Chloe says with a frown, "I was in a similar situation with Ash...I had been bullied in Kalos High and I would do detentions with Ash because of false accusations. Hop would help me as well even though he didn't do anything wrong."
Ash says, "If I remember correctly before Lillie comes into Kalos High, Chloe was forced to drop out of school with the help of her father, who is also one of the famous Professor. Have you ever heard of Professor Cerise?"
"I think I have heard about him, he is a famous professor who is studying Pokemon. He is also my role model and I learned a lot from his research." Eve says.
Chloe says, "I think that you guys were in the same class as Hop and Ash, right?"
Paul says, "So you were in a different class. No wonder we haven't met before."
"Because of my father, a lot of people think that I am going to be a Professor like him. I just don't like people assuming what I actually want...and that's how I got bullied by my classmates." Chloe says.
Reisa says, "You don't need to worry about that anymore, we won't force you to do anything like that."
Chloe nods and Minami asks, "So what makes you willing to come to the school?"
Hop says, "We are asked by Ash. Ever since Kalos High is ruined, I lived in the Galar Region with my brother, who was the Champion of the Galar."
"You mean Leon is the Champion of...what region is Galar?" May asks and the others are confused. Ash says, "Galar Region is a region that is close to Kalos, and they have new Pokemon and they also have some interesting stuff there as well."
Insey says, "We didn't mention it to others because it is our father's orders."
"Your father? Come to think of it, I heard that he was the King of Sevestar until he left...he was in the Galar Region this whole time?" Reisa asks.
"Well, I am sure that you heard from Professor Radium about how the Sevestar Region was formed, right?" Ash says. "But let's ignore that. Leon was the champion of the Galar."
"Why are you emphasizing the word "Was"? Isn't he the Champion now?" Serena asks.
"Ash and Lillie have come to the Galar Region after the school was ruined, and the three of us decide to travel together to do our Gym Challenge in the Galar Region." Hop says. "Chloe was also there since her father was chatting with Professor Magnolia, the former Regional Professor of the Galar Region."
"You mean Vice-Principal Magnolia of the Kalos High? She was in the Galar Region?" Glaidon asks.
"Of course, Chloe at first refused to travel with us, but after persuasion, we finally made her agree to come with us." Lillie says.
"But there is a problem...when did you go to the Galar Region? Don't tell me you have used your Double Team again..." Mark sighs.
"Of course, or else how would we be able to go there?" Ash says with a smile.
"Okay...That is understandable." Luke says. "But we would like to know more about the Galar Region."
"I am sure that we can talk about it to you guys in the break time." Golly says as they all head to their next class. At the same time, the bullies were watching them from afar and Gary says, "Even that annoying Hop is here as well..."
"Though I don't remember a girl being bullied in the other class named Chloe..." Misty says. "But their group is getting bigger and bigger while we are getting smaller and smaller..."
"And forget about persuading them to add into our group." Iris says, "I know that Hop might be acting around us, but we couldn't find his true intentions in the past, and Chloe wouldn't want to help us considering that she had dropped out of school with her father's help."
"And what about this Galar Region? How come we didn't learn about this region?" Trip asks, and they have no answer to that.
As they are having lunch, Chloe is getting along with the others, and Insey says, "So you lived in the Vermillion City and that is where your father's Lab is?"
Chloe nods and says, "That's right. After I dropped out of school, I helped my father with some of the research. Somehow they can calm me down from the past."
"Sounds like your past is very hard." Helen says. "Do you have any happy memory from the past?"
Chloe thinks for a while and she says, "Well, as you can see, I first met Ash in the Kanto Region when we were little. We have been playmates for a lot of days before you guys are going back to the Sevestar Region."
Golly says, "Wow, I mean...it is quite a lot of years, I almost forgot about it."
"So you know Chloe in the past?" Eve asks, and Minami says, "She is our childhood friend when we were living in the Kanto Region. She is also the one that invites us to the Professor Oak's Summer Camp."
"The camp that I met Ash for the first time?" Serena asks, and Golly nods.
Chloe says, "Ash and I encountered the Mythical Pokemon Mew when we were in the Summer Camp, but it escaped in the end. But not all is in vain as it was also the time when Ash found his Pikachu."
"So that is where Ash's Pikachu comes from..." David says. "But if you know Ash that little, and you suffered the same fate as Ash back in the Kalos High..."
The others know that what David is implying, and Chloe says, "After the Summer Camp is over, he told me how he likes a girl with a straw hat...but after we met in the Kalos High, he told me that his heart for her was broken and he vowed not to fall in love with anyone for fear that something bad would happen to him. Both of us don't have feelings with each other as we considered that we are siblings-like relation."
"I see." Serena frowns and says, "It was my fault...I let my greed blinded me..."
"It was in the past, I am glad that Ash found Lillie when we met again in the Galar Region." Chloe says. "They made a good couple."
"What about you? Are you in love with someone?" Trenor asks, and Chloe blushes a little, she shakes her head and says, "I haven't been in love with someone. Ash and Hop were like brothers to me, and Lillie was like a sister to me."
"I see." Mark says, and they notice how Trenor was sighing in relief, much to the others' confusion. At the same time, Nate says, "So what is the Galar Region looks like?"
"Galar has 11 cities and towns. Like in Unova, Kalos, and Alola, the routes of Galar start counting again from 1, likely to represent its geographical isolation from the original four regions. There are 10 routes in total." Ash says, "The Galar region also has an extensive area called the Wild Area which adjoins several towns and cities in the region."
"The Wild Area? What is that?" Gladion asks, and Lillie says, "The Wild Area is a perfect place to capture Pokemon and also enjoying the whole view. The Pokémon found in the Wild Area vary depending on the weather, which can vary wildly between the different subareas. Pokémon with higher levels also wander outside of the normal tall grass in many places."
"Since you are here, I think that both Father and Mother think that it is time to reveal the Galar Region to the whole world."
"Reveal? No wonder we didn't know about the region. But why make it such a big deal?" Daniel asks.
"Do you know why the battlefields of the Gyms and Elite 4 places are big? That's because there is a new mechanic that you are going to add."
Lillie says, "As you can see, the Sevestar is the strongest region in the world, you have Mega Evolution, Z Move, Legendary Pokemon, Warrior Task and Star Badges. But here is the final one, Dynamax."
"Wow, that sure is a lot. But what do you mean Dynamax?" Nate asks. "Is that a new mechanic?"
"I'll tell you later, first, we will need to stuff our tummies first." Hop says, and Ash smiles, "I agree with you."
Here is a new chapter, and from this chapter, the Galar Arc of the story is about to begin. I hope you like this chapter, and in the next chapter, I am going to introduce the Galar Pokemon and the Dynamax to the other people.
