Making The Choice

Chapter 2: Now, now?!

Hours passed and Nella opened her tiresome eyes. She realized it was a different venue. Immediately, Nella seated herself up. She examined the area and caught a sleeping man in a chair beside her bed. Nella began to wonder where she was and who this guy was? In a flash, his name came to her. Sam. The reason behind this is at the time Nella was in a comatose state. She recollected coming to the car and being in the back seat. Nella also recalled how these two men were in a serious discussion. The only thing Nella could remember was him telling her that it was going to be alright.

Abruptly the guy awoke from his slumber. He glazed Nella's way and told her she was safe here. The man proceeded with.

"Hello. My name is Sam...I understand you have questions about what you saw back there. Especially the part where my brother salt and burned the ghosts human remains. I would like for you to know everything has been taken care of and you are protected from harm. I'll explain more later. First, your body requires rest. I need to go and check up on something. I'll be back, okay?" The Sam guy expressed, as Nella encountered a nod to him. Whereupon, he left the room.

Afterwards, Nella laid back down and soon drifted off to sleep. The next morning, she gaped her eyes and viewed the identical ceiling as before. Nella raised up and concluded that this incident wasn't a dream. She let her legs hang over the bed's ledge and replayed in her mind what had happened. This situation was a complete mess!

A sudden knock broke Nella's thoughts.

"Miss? It's Sam. From last night. Oh, wait! That sounded wrong!"

Nella smiled at his gentleness and the mistake he made. She heard him clear his throat and try again.

"Breakfast is ready! I figured you might have some questions and would like to talk?"

Directly, she listened to the footsteps that faded away from the door. Nella scoped around the small site. This area had a complete set of cherry wood furniture, such as a bed, dresser, chest and an end table. She glanced over to the side and noted the few books that began to collect dust.

Nella slid out of bed and was thankful she was fully clothed. She ajar the door to peek externally. Thereafter, Nella exited the room and moved to the upcoming voices. The hallway had a dim light as she walked by them. Instantly, Nella could also perceive the rattle of plates being settled. A couple more steps and she reached the kitchen, which actually had a homey aura. Nella conceded mentally that this residence was so much like a maze.

Promptly, she spotted two handsome men, both dressed in flannel shirts, blue jeans, and boots. Their eyes casted in her direction.

"Miss, please take a seat."

The shorter one than 'Sam' replied, as he gestured towards the chair close to him. This guy was very his short brown hair styled neatly, gorgeous green eyes, strong cheekbones and plus his dashing , Nella saw it, as she entered their whereabouts.

Right away, the man with green eyes pierced Nella's. That's when she decided to call him Mr. Green Eyes. The other guy that was named Sam remained seated at the table across from Nella.

Suddenly, Nella was surprised when she distinguished Mr. Green Eyes chair scooted approximately to hers and spoke.

"I assume you've met my brother, Sam. My name is Dean Winchester. I'll just cut to the chase. We hunt things…Supernatural things. Saving people. The Family business."

'Doesn't matter what this man's name actually was, Nella would always cognitively refer to him as "Mr. Green Eyes."

Then, Nella introduced herself. " My name is Nella."

The boys nodded and rejoined with. "Nice to meet you."

"And what was the reason you were at an abandoned place with no experience!" Dean thundered, furiously.

Nella felt wounded, but again these two didn't know her intentions. So, she told them.

"I was in search of who, or what kidnapped my friend, Rika. It was something..Ummm..Supernatural. Unfortunately, that ghost isn't what got her."

"And you're sure?" Sam implored.

"Yes."

"How?"

"Because I was there the night my friend was taken!" Nella hissed in a raspy tone.

Sam glanced over at her and back at his big brother.

"Really? Let's start this over. Could you please start from the beginning?"

"Sure." Nella answered and expressed her story to the two flannel wearing hero's.

Afterwards, Mr. Green Eyes commented. " I guess there's work to do!"

"NELLA! EARTH TO NELLA!?" Dean yelled into the walkie talkie.

After the tenth time, she broke from the stargaze.

"Yeah?!" Nella put forth.

Nella could tell by his tone that he was annoyed by her action. Soon after, he requested some information for her to look up. It was clear she had become the new Bobby so to speak. In all, Nella didn't mind it one bit. Yes, they had informed her what happened to the previous gang. It was sad, but an honor, nonetheless.

Nella commemorated back to when it was her first time as a hunter. Since that day everything was a breeze, considering what's transpired. Sam and Dean were about to wrap things up and head long, Nella would fix a hot meal for their safe return. It was as if this woman were the missing piece to their puzzle of life. Nella wouldn't trade it for nothing. Years went by and with the realization of a hunter's enlightenment, she acknowledged that Rika wasn't alive anymore. If Nella happens to find Rika, but only as a monster. Well… She would have no choice, but to kill her in order to protect others.

Later, the boys arrived just in time as Nella pulled the flavorsome apple pie from the oven. Once the Winchesters wash up and dip out their food and seated themselves at the table. They would discuss the case with her, not leaving nothing excluded.

In no time at all, two separate cases were and Dean headed away from home again. Nella would sometimes go with them. Nella declined the offer of going right now, given that the anniversary of her friend's disappearance is coming up. Nella felt like she should refrain from it. The Winchesters understood her decision.

An hour had expired, and Nella concluded she was going to be late for work. Nella got this job, because someone needs to bring in money.

Nella sipped the remaining whiskey that lingered in her drinking vessel. Seconds later, it was empty like the bar was tonight with only a handful of customers.

Nella went in the back to get something and when she emerged a wave of dismay consumed her. Dean was seated at the bar. She noticed by his apparel he was under cover. Nella registered that this case was much closer to home. She went to her position and query the following.

"What can I get ya?"

"Beer."

"Anything on your mind?" Nella quizzed, as she put the bottle in front of him.

"This case has us going in circles."

Which was ciphered to be careful for this case lead us back here with no results. Nella reached down and touched her 12 gauge shotgun loaded with rock salt. She sighed internally of relief to comprehend it was still there.

"Do you mind if I pour myself what you're having?" Nella requested, as she placed her shot glass down.

"Go for it," Dean alleged.

"Sounds like a rough day?" Nella mentioned. Another cryptogram, for it's that bad, huh?!

"And rough night!" Dean responded.

"Here's to luck!" Nella announced and reached in to clink to his beer bottle with her crystal ware.

She witnessed him scrolling through his phone. He had a disgruntled expression. All of the sudden, Dean stood up from the bar stool.

"Is there a problem, sir?" Nella asked.

"No. Just someone I thought I had a date with didn't show." Dean related, which meant a clue was obtained. Most of the time, they didn't use messages, unless they were this impending to home.

Dean picked up the alcohol beverage and swallowed the drink one final time. The burning sting his throat. Nella knew this, because of how he reacted.

Subsequently, Dean left the bar and she did, too. Nella had to make a quick attempt to catch him. Where no one would be around to hear them at that precise moment.

"HEY DEAN!" Nella shouted.

With his name spoken, he swiveled back to her. Dean gave Nella his full attention. In doing so, she inquired.

"I was thinking-maybe we should see that movie you mentioned? What do you think?"

"Sure. You know where to find it."

Dean was still speaking in codes, this meant it was in his man cave. Most likely in the card board box label, "Boring."

Nella watched him leave, as a smile came up on her face.

Regardless, she didn't see the camouflaged lustful eyes on her figure.

More to come!
