Steve came home with Catherine and Mary was listening to music on the porch.

"Oh, I don't think I'll be able to sleep again tonight," Mary said as she saw the two arriving.

"Mary, you don't have to comment on this every time you see us, do you? You're making Catherine uncomfortable," Steve said to his sister.

"It's all right, Steve," Catherine reassured him and then spoke to Mary, "You'll sleep just fine tonight, don't worry. By the way, we brought barbecue for you."

"Great. I'm starving," Mary replied.

"Let's go to the kitchen," Catherine said and Mary followed her. Meanwhile Steve put away the things he had brought for the picnic on the deserted beach. He was glad he compensated Catherine a little for the lost weekend because of his work. The next day she would be leaving and he was already anticipating that he would miss her terribly until her next visit.

Some time later, Steve went into the bedroom and she was in the shower. He joined her because he wanted to enjoy every moment.

"Should I stay here or should I sleep on the ship?" She asked him. But she asked not because she wanted to ask his permission, but rather just to hear him say that he wanted her to stay. And he said.

"All right, I'll stay then."

"What time does the ship leave tomorrow?" Steve asked.

"At ten o'clock at night," she replied alternating between kisses on his mouth.

"I want you to meet my staff. We can meet tomorrow at five o'clock at Kamekoma's trailer, stay there for a while, and then we'll enjoy our last moments together. Promise to come back as soon as you can?"

"I promise, but you can also come see me when I'm at the base, it's not that far away."

"Sure, we can arrange that," he replied and kissed her longingly.

Some time later they joined Mary in the living room and played cards and talked until bedtime. The next day Catherine and Steve left his house early and each went to their respective jobs. At the end of the workday they met at Kamekona's trailer. Steve, Danny, Chin and Kono were already there when she arrived.

Steve smiled when he saw her coming and stood up. He kissed her lightly and put his hand on her waist as he introduced her to the pointed to the team and introduced one by one, "Danny, Chin and Kono."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Catherine," she told them.

"Welcome to Hawaii," Kono told her.

"Thank you, Kono. I've been to Hawaii once before when we came to visit Steve's father. It's such a beautiful place, and I never tire of admiring it."

"That's true, " Chin told Catherine.

Catherine sat down next to Danny and noticed that he was using a cane. "Hi," she said to Danny.

"Hi," Danny replied gently.

"Did you get hurt at work?" Catherine asked and pointed to the cane that was next to Danny.

"Yes, and it was all Steve's fault. Your boyfriend is an animal," Danny gestured as he spoke and Catherine thought he was funny. She smiled at Danny and didn't respond to his comment.

"Don't pay any attention to what he says, Cath," Steve told her.

"I only spoke the truth. Working with you is life-threatening." Danny told Steve.

"Is it always like this?" Catherine asked Chin and Kono who were sitting on the opposite side of the table.

"Always, better get used to it," Chin replied and Kono agreed.

"I brought Catherine to meet you guys and you are talking bad about me to her?" Steve said to the team pretending to be indignant.

"It's okay," Catherine smiled and asked what they were going to eat.

"Garlic shrimp," Kono replied.

"Hmm...sounds good. I think I'll order the same thing, Kono."

"You won't regret it," Kono replied.

Steve smiled as he looked at Catherine. He was happy that she went to meet his team and treated everyone with great friendliness.

"So you are Catherine. The girl who finds the bad guys for him, who..."

"Danny! Shut up!" Steve said fearing Danny finishing his awkward sentence.

"I was just going to ask if she cooks too," Danny said cynically.

"Yes, I like to cook," Catherine said to Danny and then looked at Steve. "And I cook well, don't I Steve?"

"Wonderfully, Cath."

They hung out with the team for a while and then went to enjoy their last two hours together before she shipped out.

"I miss you already, Steve," she said as she rested her head on his chest.

"I miss you already too," he replied as he stroked her hair.
