"How did you find out about the party again?" Blaise asks Pansy, who the moment I had told her about Potter's invite decided she would make up a lie so I wouldn't have to.

"Heard some third year Gryffindor's talking about it in the bathroom," she simply stated, as if it were true. When she is absolutely sure nobody is looking she sends me a quick wink. The only person who didn't believe Pansy when she had told about the party during dinner time had been Draco, who of course had looked my way the second Pansy had mentioned it.

Blaise and Theodore had looked forward to it all week, and I wasn't completely sure why they were so excited to go to a Gryffindor party, but they were acting like little kids who were told they could pick out whatever they wanted at Honeydukes. I just prayed they would behave themselves.

What had surprised me the most was that Draco said he'd go as well. I had expected him to stay in his room, or roam through the castle like he usually does at night, but I was glad he decided to come along.

"I have to say though, you look bloody amazing in red." Blaise began, letting his arm casually fall over my shoulders. "It is the color of our enemies, but I'll let it slide because it's you," he follows, a bright smile on his face. I roll my eyes in a playful manner.

"Thank you so much for making an exemption for me Blaise."

"Only for you love."

I snort, take his hand and let if drop from my shoulders. I drop my pace a little so I am now walking next to Pansy who was strolling next to Theodore. The moment I am next to hear she grabs my arms and motions for Theodore to move more forward.

When he is far enough away to not hear us whispering, she starts speaking;

"Nervous?"

"A little," I admit.

I place my free hand on my stomach, feeling the soft material of the red slip dress I was wearing. I was feeling jittery all day and barely had a bite to eat. It wasn't nerves for seeing Potter, that was actually the only part of the entire evening that seemed to calm me down, but it was more the whole setting it would be in. While we had been at loads of mixed parties at Hogwarts before, this felt different. It was his environment, his home.

I had felt rather silly at first when I found the red dress in the back of my wardrobe. I had bought it a year ago with Pansy when we went to a muggle nightclub during the summer holiday. I had just gotten in a huge fight with my father, and for some reason buying a Gryffindor red dress and going to a place filled with muggles, felt like a very good rebellious move to fifteen year old me.

"Blaise is right though, you do look amazing in red," she whispers, giving my arm a light squeeze, noticing how unsettled I was feeling. I look up at her, a small smile on my lips.

"I'm sure he'll think so as well," she grins, wiggling her eyebrows. She didn't have to speak his name for me to know who she meant. I truly loved how supportive of a friend she was.

When we had finally made it to the entrance of Gryffindor tower without being caught by a teacher, we notice a seventh year standing in front of the painting of the Fat Lady, his wand in his hand.

"No entrance for Slytherin students," he growled.

Pansy let's go of my arm and pulls down her dress a little, her cleavage on full display. She pushes the boys out of her way, walking up to the seventh year.

"We were invited by Cormac himself, even told me about tapeworm," she said with a sultry voice, placing her hand softly on his arm. I didn't know there was a way to make the word tapeworm sound sexy, but somehow Pansy just managed to pull it off. "If you don't believe me you can go ask him yourself," she added, bathing her eyelashes at the guy.

I took a quick glance at Theodore, who did not seem amused by Pansy's performance at all. He was clenching his teeth, a pinched expression on his face and both of his hands balled into fists. I was kind of glad to see Theodore disliked Pansy flirting with another guy just as much as she did the other way around, and I had to make sure to let her know about his reaction later tonight. Maybe then they would finally admit their feelings for each other, only took them three years.

The guy took another look at us, his eyes remaining still on Draco for a second. Pansy notices and moves her hand up and down, stroking his arm to gain his attention back. He looks back at her, or rather her breasts and then nods.

"Tapeworm," he mumbles, the portrait of the Fat Lady opening for us.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in, glad Potter had sneaked me a little note during class yesterday with their password on it.

Pansy let's go of the guy immediately, grabbing Theodore's hand instead and pulling him through the portrait with her. I followed after Draco and Blaise, the nerves soaring back through my body again. The moment we stepped inside, the loud music and chatter filled my ears. Their common room seemed a lot smaller than ours, but a lot more pleasant and welcoming. They had all kinds of posters splattered across the walls, open shelves filled with trinkets and games and different types of furniture from diverse materials, which although it didn't match at all, still somehow looked great together.

We got a few looks thrown our way from some Gryffindor students, but most people didn't really seem to notice our present, probably to intoxicated to even care. We went to the far back of the room where the table with drinks was placed and all grabbed a red cup with butterbeer. Pansy and Theodore took their drinks with them and slipped between our dancing schoolmates right away. Blaise started a conversation with a pretty girl from I believe Hufflepuff, and thus it was just Draco and me, sipping out of our red cups.

I let my eyes glide over all of the different faces present in the room, looking for one set of green eyes in particular.

"He's over there, looking at you," Draco suddenly says. Feeling caught, my cheeks redden, letting out a small cough. Draco throws his drink back in one go, grabbing a new cup and puts his hands on my hips, pushing me into the direction of Potter.

"What are you doing?" I hiss.

"Well we're not here so you can just stare at him all night, are we?"

I want to respond to him, but I couldn't come up with a snarky comment, so I just kept my mouth shut and let my best friend push me towards to arms of his nemesis.

I feel someone bumping into my should. I look up to see a girl who looked vaguely familiar, giving me a nasty look. "Watch where you're going snake," she spat. Usually I wouldn't hesitate to defend myself, but right now, while I am literally surrounded by Gryffindor students, I decided to bite my tongue. I saw Draco out of the corner of my eye, starring at the girl himself with his jaw clenched, but holding back like I did.

When we are almost near Potter, who had been giving me a rather curious look, probably because Draco was right behind me, I quickly took Draco's hands of off my hips. I could hear him smirk behind me, but he didn't say word. Instead he seems to make a motion towards Potter, because I suddenly see Potter nodding and walking a little further to one of the staircases.

I take a few large gulps from my butterbeer, handing the half empty cup to Draco, who takes it from me eagerly.

"Potter," Draco said, giving Potter a look I couldn't place completely. With in both of his hands huge red cups and the serious expression on his face, I couldn't help but chuckle. He reminded me of a father who was having a talk down with the boy who was picking her up for their first date.

"Malfoy," Potter replied with a nod of acknowledgement.

"You've got five minutes with my fiancée, so make it count."

Thank you Twilightlover427 for giving a review on my latest chapter, you have no idea how much it means to me 3 Did I also just save all of the good Harry stuff for the next chapter? Yes haha. Show some love and I'll write fast (truly, I do). But also, I just have to say love Pansy and Draco so much, especially in this one. I hope you enjoy the sides I am showing of these character. I know it's not always very accurate, but that's what fanfiction is for 3
