The alarm rings in Team Sapphire's room, as the birds sing outside.
Stardust yawns and sits up and looks at the clock.
"6:00 am" he states as he looks over to see the others also waking up before rolling his eyes with a smile.
"Always gonna be six am eh?" says Stardust putting on his Gi.
"First things first, time to make this heavier" says Stardust Fredbear as he closes his eyes and concentrates as a dark blue energy forms around him before it cracks open to reveal heavier clothing.
Stardust chuckles delightedly, "Perfect thats about fourty tons each"
Stardust then walks towards the door.
"Hey Stardust where are you going?" says Freddy.
Stardust looks back towards the others before smiling, "Oh just out to do morning training, can't get rusty." he says before running out the door.
as he shoots past the other dorm rooms making the curtains on the windows blow open.
he rushes outside jumping over every bench before stopping.
"Ok time for about one million thumb pushups." he says with a grin on his face before he starts doing pushups with one thumb.
-Later, 7:40-
"and...one billion!" says Stardust finishing his 1,000,000 sit ups, before wiping sweat off of his face.
"Whew, good...that actually made me sweat!" says Stardust picking up a towel and wiping himself off before look at a clock.
"8:40 huh?" "Good I have 20 minutes until class." says Stardust walking down into the building and down the hall towards his dorm.
But when he reaches Team RWBY's dorm he hears sounds, as he peeks in he notices them renovating the room.
"Uh, guys what are you doing?" asks Stardust.
"Oh hey Mister Fredbear, we're doing renovations." before notice sweat on Stardust's forhead.
"So it seems you've been doing some training eh?" says Yang.
"Oh yeah some light training since six today." responds Stardust.
"Oh yeah, I doubt that look at all the sweat you have on your head."
Stardust takes his towel and wipes it off, "Maybe light for me...but not for you."
Yang raises an eyebrow at this comment.
"Well just some slightly heavy stuff, nothing major"
"How do we know that you're not lying?" acuses Weiss pointing a finger at him.
Stardust shrugs, "I don't care if you believe me or not...I was there and that's all I need to know."
"Now I'm off to the showers...see you at class." waves Stardust as he closes the door.
Ruby nods, "Alright, See you...at...class.." sighs Ruby.
Weiss the turns back, "Lets finish renovating and get ready for the day."
The rest of Team RWBY nods before going back to it.
Stardust walks out of the shower wearing his school uniform, he doesn't like them...but then again there's no arguing with the rules.
Stardust walks into class, noticing his team was there...but not RWBY or JNPR.
"Hey guys, uh so where's Team RWBY and JNPR?" asks Stardust.
"I believe th' cap'n saw the laddies and lassies still in thee dorms." says Foxy.
Stardust shakes his head and sighs, before both JNPR and RWBY coming running in.
"MADE IT!" Ruby cheers as the bells ring.
"I can see that Miss Rose, now please take your seat." says Professor Port holding a mug of coffee.
Ruby and the other teams sit down.
"Really Ruby?" says Freddy with an unamused look on his face.
"Hey, I'm sorry Freddy...I lost track of time!" says Ruby.
"It's ok Ruby...it happens to the best of us." says Chica patting her on the back.
"Thanks Chee!" "Is Chee a good nickname?" asks Ruby.
"I love it!" says Chica smiling even brighter. "Thanks Ruby!"
Ruby nods, "No prob." before hi fiving Chica as they grin.
"Attention Class." says the Professor Port.
When the lecture started Stardust realizes one thing about the professor, he is full of himself. All of the stories he tells are about himself and his so called greatness. He just sits there with a tired smile on his face. Everyone else feels the same about the man, well everyone except Weiss who was taking notes so fast that even he was impressed.
"Mosters, Demons, Crawlers of the night...these are the many names for the creatures of Grimm...but I only refer to them as..prey!" he says with a cocky tone, the entire class just stares at him as Ruby yawns.
"and you shall too after graduating from this prestigous academy." "You see the kingdoms are a safe haven from beings the would love nothing more than to tear you you apart." which makes some of the animatronic turned faunus shiver.
"So I'm about to tell you a story about a brave young man..." starts Port, as Stardusts bear ears flatten; "Oh god please don't tell me..."
"Me!" he says as Stardust facepalms, this man while he's sure he's a fine huntsmen has his head up his ass.
The speech went on but Stardust looks down at wise who's getting more and more angry with Ruby who is goofing off.
"Anyways, the moral of the story is that a true huntsmen should be dependable, wise, and brave..." says Port as Ruby does the exact opposite things that the Professor listed making Weiss angrier and angrier.
"So is there any of you class, that see yourself as the embodiment of these traits." says Port as Stardust lays eyes on a cage.
"I do!" says Weiss, but then Stardust raises his hand.
"I don't excatly see myself as what you just said professor...but I am interested in fighting whats in those crates." says Stardust as Port smiles at him.
"Oh ho!" "Quite confident are you two, then step up and face your opponents!" says Port walking up to the two crates before cuting them open to reveal two borbatusks.
The Boar like grimm charge at Weiss and Stardust, While Weiss is struggling with her opponent Stardust is lazily side stepping his opponent.
Weiss then loses her weapon, "Now what are you going to do without your weapon?" asks Port as Weiss dodges the grimm before picking up her weapon and uses her glyphs to kill it.
Stardust frowns at how Weiss is acting, as he seems to just ignore his foe completely...besides lazily dodging the grimm before the grimm spins and heads toward Stardust who once again lazily sidesteps the grimm as it hits the wall behind Stardust stunning it, he then walks up to it causally grabs its neck and lifts it up before using his thumb and index finger to break it's neck. Then grimm goes limp as it disappears in his hands.
"My word, I never seen someone toy with a grimm like that...exceptional work Mr. Otsutsuki!" says Stardust bowing at Professor Port, "Thank you for your praise Professor."
"And you did quite well too, Miss. Schnee." says Professor Port looking at Weiss who stares at Stardust. He just killed a grimm that she struggled against with his bare hands, the kid didn't seem like he was even trying!
She scoffs as she turns away.
Stardust enters the hallway back in his uniform, as he sees Weiss walk up to him.
"Ah, Miss. Schnee...is there anything I can help you with he says tipping his top hat.
Weiss looks at him and sighs, "Yeah, I need some advice...Why did they pick Ruby to be Team Leader except me?"
Stardust looks at her, "Why don't you think Miss. Rose is a good team leader?"
"No she's not, she's too childish...and immature, and she has no idea what she is doing!" she says frustratedly.
Stardust pauses and looks at her, "and you aren't?" he asks.
Weiss looks back at him with a glare, "Excuse me?!" she scowls.
"That wasn't an insult Miss. Schnee...think about this...why are we still in a school despite having good combat training?" he asks Weiss.
Weiss pauses, this question runs through her mind.
"Because none of us are ready, we are still just children...we aren't ready for whats out there." he says looking out a window into the sunset. "Not Miss. Nikos, Not Miss. Rose, Not me...and not you." he says looking back at Weiss.
"This school is for refining our combat techniques and learning about the world...be thats not all...its also about growing more mature, you cannot force maturity to appear in anyone...including Miss. Rose." "We are all still children including yourself, so you're not as mature as you think you are." "Just go with the flow and be the best you." "and don't feel ashamed that you make mistakes." "Besides..." he says as he suddenly looks depressed as his bear ears flatten in shame; "You have made far better choices then i have."
Weiss smiles for a second before her smile is replaced by a realization, "What does he mean by she made better choices then he?" she shakes this off before going off to apologize to Ruby.
