POW: Ash
Deep within the forests on the border of Night raid main base. i stood on the edge of a spring barrier, smiling to myself. "Oh Lubbock." I said as i held out my hand and with a single flick of my fingers i send strong vibrations through the springs and then walking through with Sayo still asleep on my back. 'I forgot that Galahad take a day for the person being revived to awake up.' I smiled to myself as i take a deep breath into my lungs and as i breathed out fire exited from my noise. "I guess I'm that point again." I sighed as i walked long a dirt path, i felt movement coming Sayo and i looked over my shoulder to see her eyes slowly opening up.
"What?" She said softly as she looked at me as i smiled at her. "Who ar..." Her eyes widened and her face turned to fear. "MAKE IT STOP!" she scream and I stopped.
"Sayo it ok, it ok." I said calmly as Sayo is in the middle of a panic attack. "That family is die and they won't hurt you again." Sayo look at me in shock. "It ok."
Sayo taking deep breaths looks at me before speaking. "Who are you and how do you know my name?" She asked as i just grinned.
"It has been 12 years." I said as i continued on moving. "I was once a member of the Ban tribe like you as a kid and i am Ieyasu older brother. and i am the one who give you that flower accessory" Sayo's eyes widened.
"Ash?" I nodded. Sayo eyes begin tearing up and she held me tightly. "You came back." I smiled. "Your really here?" She asked as I nodded, she most have noticed my changes. "Your hair?"
I frown as she asked me that. "A lots happening and well..." I just cheer myself up by remember that life is just one big blood bath. "I become a monster." Sayo looked at me oddly. "I kill our tribe." Sayo's eyes widened as her hand tighten up on my shoulders. "I burnt it to the fucking ground." Sayo begin shaking.
"Please." I stopped with my rage. "I'm sorry." i nodded as Sayo fell silent. "I am so sorry."
"It fine." I said as i could smell a familiar scent of poison and darkness. "Look like my sister here." Sayo looked around as the leafs above us begin rustling and someone dropped in behind us. "Hey Akame." Sayo looked behind us to see Akame with Murasame to my neck.
Akame looked at me coldly as i just looked at her in the corner of my eye with a big grin. Akame creaked a smile and sheathed Murasame. Sayo looked between us both. "It good to see you back." Akame said before noticing Sayo is awake. "Oh she wake up?" Akame asked as I nodded.
"I am going to take her to Mother and see if we are taking on new members." Akame nodded before running on ahead to let everyone know as i walk on and Sayo looked at me oddly.
"That was Akame of Night Raid?" Sayo asked as I nodded. "She on the wanted poster." I nodded again.
"Welcome to my family." Sayo looked at me in shock. "Night raid's The crimson dragon." I said as if it was a joke. "And before you ask. you're dead to the world." i said calmly. "There no going back to your village, since you know about Akame and myself." We come up to a large building dig into the side of a cliff. "And I don't kill myself just let you die again." Sayo is confused by this and once we got into the Base i put Sayo down on the floor, but she lose her balance. "Got you." I grabbed her and held her up.
"Why can't i use my legs?" Sayo asked and i just smiled and was going to answer but Najenda answered before me.
"Your body is still weak from Ash reviving you from the dead." We both turned to see Najenda smoking and Galahad on her back. Sayo is in shock. "Hello, my name is Najenda and i was one a general within the empire army but now i am the leader of Night Raid." Taking her cigarette out of her month. "Next to you is my adopt son." Sayo looked at me as I nodded.
"So wait i am, right now in the middle of the Night Raid base?" Sayo asked as Najenda nodded. "And Ash is apart of this group?" Najenda smiled.
"Your looking at the empire own Crimson Dragon or formally known as Colonel Ash, Commander of the Empire 22nd Suppression unit who used to specialised in anti imperial arms and higher class Danger beast hunting." Sayo looks at me in shock as i looked away with embarrassment.
"That was 4 years ago and my unit disbanded after i lost a good number of my people." I held a hand over Bahamut. Najenda remember that day too as Sayo looked between us both confused. "Mother, i am going to leave Sayo with you if that ok?" I asked as Najenda nodded.
"Ash?" Sayo looked at me as i passed her over to Najenda and take Galahad back off Najenda and walking though the base and up to my room only to find Lubbock in front of my door with his back against the wall.
"So your back?" Lubbock asked and i am not in the mood for his questioning.
"I am back and right now I don't care for your questioning." I said walking passed him and was going to go inside but Lubbock said something that triggered me a little.
"Well i hope you care for the girls around here." I stopped as Lubbock looked at me with a bit of an annoyed look. "You been around since Night Raid was formed and you recruited most of us." He smiled. "Mine, Akame, Leone and Sheele, they won't be here without you and if you was to leave or die." Lubbock begin walking off. "Then I don't think Night Raid would be the same without you." i walked into my room to find it been cleaned since last time, i got to my bed throw both my swords on the bottom of my bed and just laid back looking at the roof before covering my eyes with my left arm to hide my tears.
i hear my door open and i sat up quickly to see Mine stood there. "Mine?" She dressing in her night wear and i looked out of the window quickly to see it already night. 'Did i fall asleep?' I looked back at Mine.
"I heard you didn't come to dinner and everyone been worried about you?" Mine asked shyly and i just sigh wells nodded.
"I'm just drained." i laid back down. "i am tiered and i just want to get some rest and clear my mind." Mine looked at the ground in shame and i sighed. "What up?" I sat up and Mine looked at me with a bright red face.
"I am ok to stay here for the night?" Mine asked and i find her to be kind of cute and Smiled.
"Sure." I said before picking up both Blades and rested them under the bed as Mine came over and laid beside me and used my arm as pillowed. "I don't care." I said as turned my head away from Mine and i felt disappointment. "I have nothing again you personal Mine." I said as i close my eyes. "I just don't want you to have feeling of me since..." Mine take her left hand and turned me to face her and she blushing very cutely.
"I understand Ash." Mine said with a soft voice. "I am just doing this to end my worrying." I couldn't help but smiled and turned fulling to her and warped my right arm over her. She flinched a little but calmed down and we down closed our eyes to a dreamless.
"Night." We said together as the moon lit up the room and we slept peacefully.
The next in the returning yard. POV 3rd.
In the yard stood both Bulat and Ash both shirtless and armed with wooden weapons, Bulat a wooden spear and Ash a Sword, both going all out. Ash blocked Bulat strike and pushed back. "Your improving." Bulat said as Ash smiled.
"Well I don't want to let my family die." Ash jumped and striked down as Bulat blocked. "And if i am going to fight the ice witch i needed to get stronger." Ash said as he flipped and away and deck as a sword swinged above his head. "Nice one Akame." Ash looked down to see Akame smiling with Murasame drawn. "But." He lowed kicked the ground and Akame dodged only to be kicked in the face as Ash used his speed to flip his body around and high kicked her. "My Imperial arms still makes me..." Ash look at his foot to see marks spreading along his leg. "Oh Fuck." Pain begin swelling all over his body as he got cut by Murasame and now the poison has enter his body.
"ASH!" Akame and Bulat both rushed over to him only to find that his whole body is covered in marks, but Ash begin focusing and his body turned redder as stream released from him and the marks began fading away and Akame is shocked by this as Ash kneeled to the ground. "Ash?" Ash just smiled.
"Adaptation." He looked at Akame who sighed in relief. "It not the first time Murasame has been used on me." Ash said as he stood up and rolled his shoulders. "Thankfully my healing is faster then the curse, so i can out heal it." Akame nodded as she remember their old master fighting Ash and he survived the curse before, but that was years ago and he fell into Burn out after it and now he recovered within seconds. "Still my body weaker." He placed a hand on his heart. "Almost felt like someone ripped out my heart." Ash laughed as Akame smiled and Bulat shook his head.
"Like the time you got a pike in your heart?" Bulat said as Ash laughed his ass off.
"I forgot about that." Akame looked between the pair confused. "Before i left the army with Mother, Bulat and myself was send out to put down some bandits in the east and well one of them rammed as pike into my chest." Akame eyes widened as Bulat continue.
"It was scary to see you looking at that guy with a pike in your chest and you take it out like it was nothing and still kept on walking and fighting with a whole in you." Bulat said and Ash chuckled.
"Or what about the time, i got my head removed and i still kept on talking?" Akame blinked and Bulat nodded. "Oh people begin screaming over that for a week straight." Ash said wiping his eyes.
"The unkillable Dragon." Balut said as Ash nodded. "Fitting nickname for someone who too stubborn to die." Ash just shrugged as Akame moved closer to her brother and hugged his left arm and Ash looked at her as she hide her face into his shoulder.
"You ok?" Ash asked as Akame shook her head and Ash looked at Bulat who nodded and walked away after a minute Ash spoke up again. "Did i scare you?" He asked as Akame nodded.
"I didn't know." Akame said as Ash smiled and turned to embrace her and he held her close to his chest. Ash begin stroking her hair.
"I am not going to dead anytime soon." Ash said as Akame nodded as Ash's smiled got bigger. "I still got to keep my promise to bring Kurome back and get that house next to a large lake." Akame smiled before looking up at Ash with tears in her eyes.
"Your such a dreamer sometime." Akame said as Ash wipe her tears away. "But thank you." She kissed his right cheek. "I needed this." Ash nodded.
"Anything for you little sis." Ash said before noticing that someone is watching them. "Come out." He said letting Akame go and the pair to the main base to see Sayo coming out of the main door and the pair are kind of surprised. "Sayo?"
Akame looked at Ash. "Your friend?" Ash nodded as Sayo stood in the Yard and Bowed to Akame.
"Yeah, She friend from before i was sold." Akame looked at Sayo who looks embarrassed. "So Sayo did you get to look around?" Sayo nodded.
"I did and Najenda has asked me if i want to join and told me i should come here?" Ash nodded before kicking up his wooden sword that was on the ground and then kick it over to Sayo who grabbed it.
"We are assassins." Sayo nodded before holding the sword in both hands. "I seen all i needed to see." Sayo is confused by this. "Swords are not your thing since i can see it in the way you stand." Sayo blushed with a bit of embarrassment.
"I like bows better." She said as Ash nodded.
"Talk to Mine." Sayo looked at him confused. "Pink hair girl, she uses firearms and can teach you more than I can, but also tell Najenda that you have my recommendation." Sayo beamed a smile at Ash and was going to Rush over to him but Akame aura stopped her. "But you do know that you can't go back to your village." Ash said as he walked passed Sayo. "Welcome to Night Raid. Akame with me." Ash continued on as Akame followed but whispered to Sayo before rushing over to Ash and the pair when inside.
"Ash do you think Sayo is going to be able to kill someone?" Akame asked as she and Ash begin heading of the meeting room and Ash his head.
"I don't know, but i hope she willing too." Ash said as they come up to a cross road. "I hope Spear is ok." Ash asked himself as Akame looked at him oddly. "A member of my old unit, she used to be my second in command and a good leader." Ash smiled.
"What happened to her?" Akame asked as Ash closed his eyes.
"Her father used to the Prime Minister before Honest take over." Ash said as he begin thinking. "Speaking of Spear, I should check in with old Chouri and see if he doing ok?" Akame smiled as she remember the old Prime minister used to be a kind and good person, but Ash looked trouble for a second. "Does she still have Spirit-Singer?"
Akame looked as Ash oddly. "You mean Lightning Spear dancer: Spirit-Singer?" Akame asked as Ash nodded. "The same one that control and makes lightning around it user?" Ash nodded again.
"The same one." Ash said with a small smile. "Spear used to be master with it." Ash body shuck up for second as he chuckled with fear. "Akame your coming with me." Akame blinked. "I don't want to be alone when i go and visit my second in command." Akame grinned before covering her mouth to stop herself from laughing. "It not funny!" I shouted as Akame looked at with one eye open.
"It just odd to see you scared of one girl." Akame joked as Ash's eyes full up with tears and she can't hold back her laugher. "Oh my gods, you look so funny right now." Akame held her stomach and Ash crossed his arms pissed off.
"Fuck you." Ash said before storming off and Akame just rolled her eyes and begin following him, unknown to the two that Najenda is watching from her office on the other side of the base that can see where they are, she watched as Akame is laughing at her adopted son and him storming around like a child, but to Najenda it heart warming to see.
"He still the same old Ash." Najenda said to herself as she remembered the first day she meet Ash back over 12 years when he and Akame was training under the Elite Seven to become assassins, but the Elite seven take to buying or taking children to become the empire most elite assassin hens the name, but back then Ash was taken out the Elite to become an imperial arm task force member that Najenda was a signed too in her early years as a solider, but it also the same time that Esdeath was into. the three of them take to the battlefield like monsters wiping out rebels groups and Danger beasts together gaining the nickname of 'Empire's disasters.' a name that Najenda dislike very much but it summed up Esdeath and Ash's work to a T as most of the time the only thing left is a ice covered forest or a field of burnt ashes.
Najenda chuckled as even if he is a force of destruction, he still had his childish side to him and he cared for his unit, digging graves for his fallen soldiers when one of them dead, Giving his man extra rewards or support and supplying his injured Soldier who couldn't fight anymore. his man would follow Ash into hell and back again and if he didn't join Najenda it would only be a short amount of time until he got the rank of General, hell he become a captain at the age of 14, because of his will to fight and his aura alone was enough to inspire people to follow his lead. It was then that Najenda hear a knock on her door. "It open." Najenda said before in came Leone with a worried look on her face. "So do you have it?" Leone nodded before holding out some folder to Najenda who in toke them and looked them over only for Najenda's eyes to widened.
"He more than 65% gone." Leone said as the folders that Najenda is holding is a DNA test of Ash Blood and well Najenda sat down with her hand on her head shaking from the shock. "You know what this means right?" Leone asked as Najenda nodded.
"Tell everyone that Ash is to be watch at all time incase of 'wild out'." Najenda order and Leone smiled with her right hand on her hip.
"So Ash is a target now?" Leone joked as Najenda creak a smile.
"No he is not, but if he does go wild again." Najenda's smile disappeared as she remembered something horrible, Leone had an raised eye.
"Again?" Najenda nodded before sighing and sat back in her chair.
"6 years ago in the south places for capital, Ash ,Esdeath and myself was sent out to hunt a powerful danger beast that appeared and well let just say Ash became wild and became a danger beast himself in name and destroy most of the region and turned it to ash and charcoal." Leone eyes widened.
"You mean?" Najenda nodded before pulling out a smoke and lit it up.
"It were he got his nickname, the Crimson Dragon and well it take Esdeath to take him down and we don't have said person here." Leone hated that it take Esdeath the ice witch to take on Ash's wild side. "Also a word of warning for you." Leone look at Najenda oddly. "I don't know if you know this but Akame has his marks on her?" Leone is super confused. "You know about Animal instincts?" Leone nodded before Realising.
"You mean he and Akame are a thing?" Najenda chuckled.
"Far from it, but you and Ash have a territorial instinct and if he come closer to his wild side then just laid over and play dead." Leone laughed from Najenda warning.
"I am not going to lose to someone like him and if he want my territory then he going to have to take it from me." leone held up her right arm to flex her muscles and Najenda sighed.
"Leone this is an order." Leone eyes widened. "I don't want you too die, because for your pride." Najenda growled. "If he challenges you then just laid down and let him take over..." the sound of explosions echoed loudly from outside. Make Leone smiled and Najenda to sighed as a flaming twisters shot up to the sky in front of the window.
"Was that?" Leone asked as Najenda nodded as the pair walked over to the window to see Ash and Bulat going at it with Bulat is in full Incursio armour as Ash has fire dancing around his fists and feet with his throwing high kicks and Bulat blocking each attack with his spear Neuntote. Leone grinned. "Look like Ash is getting back into this?" Najenda watched as she has her back against the window frame watching her son who right eye is glowing red and his left eye yellow is back to normal wells smiling and having fun. "Boss?" Leone looked at her oddly?
"He having fun." Najenda smiled, she then look over to see Akame and Sayo cheering on the boys and as Ash jumped into the air as Bulat hit the ground and Ash take a deep breath and then throw out a large flamethrower attack that shocked everyone as Bulat tried to cut the fire in half only for Ash to dash through the fire and kicked Bulat in the chest sending him into the wall and then back flipped into the air and just hovering there with foot flames.
"Fire breath?" Leone asked and Najenda eyes are just focusing on Ash who smiling as Bulat rushed him and the pair are fist fighting in the air. "That new?" Leone asked as Najenda didn't listen as she opened the window and popped her head out.
"Meeting 20 minutes" Both Bulat and Ash leaded on the ground before looking up at Najenda and everyone nodded from her order.
Night raid meeting hall.
Najenda is sat on her throne as all of night raid is around her. "Tonight we 3 targets." She said as she has a cigarette in her hand and begin smoking.
"Who are they?" Akame asked as Najenda looked at Leone who nodded.
"A member of the empire guards forces captain named Ogre, a high ranking officer from the army know only as Red Iron he a master swordsman and a former member of Esdeath army and some imperial arm user who known as Seryu Ubiquitous." This name got Ash's attention.
"Ubiquitous?" he asked as everyone looked at him. "As in Sam Ubiquitous child?" Najenda looked at him and nodded, Ash sighed. "Akame, Leone, Mine and Balut go for Red Iron." The four looked at him and nodded. "Ogre and Seryu Ubiquitous is mine." Akame looked a little worried before Najenda spoke up.
"And what give you right to make this call?" She asked as Ash sighed.
"Sam was a member of my unit mother." Ash said in a cold tone and Najenda understood. "I got him kill and everyone else, so if i can save his child then allow me too?" Najenda sighed.
"I will allow it, but if she become a problem then you will be the one to kill her." Ash nodded. "Good now Sayo?" Najenda looked at Sayo who next Ash and pointed her cigarette. "Your going to shadowing me." Sayo looked at Najenda oddly as she smiled. "We have to know if you have an affinity Imperial arm, so you will be with me." Sayo looked at Ash who smile.
"It the weapons that we use." Ash draw both Bahamut and Galahad. "My Imperial arms Down fallen Dragon: Bahamut and Divide Blade: Galahad." Sayo looked at Galahad in surprise and he sheathed both blades onto his back.
Akame draw her blade. "One Cut Killer: Murasame." Najenda said. "The sword that once cut into someone flesh sents a dangerly poison curse into the body, there is no curse." next up is Leone who transform as her growth in muscles and she grain a pair of ears, her hands turned to paws and she grow a tail. "The King Of Beasts Transformation: It grans it user greatly increased their regeneration, physical strength and speed to animalistic levels. The belt granted the ability to locate specific individuals over a long distance. perfect of scouting." Sayo looked at Leone who grain like a fool.
Next is Mine. "Roman Artillery: Pumpkin. Pumpkin uses spirit energy as ammunition and fires it in a concentrated shockwave. One of its main properties is that its power and range increased in proportion to the level of danger its user was in." Mine smiled. Next is Sheele. "Cutter of Creation: Extase, Extase is extremely sharp and is said to be able to cut through any material, It is also very sturdy, allowing its wielder to use it for defence." Sheele blushed a little.
Next is Bulat. "Demon Armor: Incursio Incursio is an Armor-type Teigu, Incursio had a near-indestructible defense with the only thing able to pierce it being other Teigu. The armor also greatly enhanced the user's physical abilities such as speed, strength, and agility." Bulat smiled to himself with his arms crossed.
Lastly is Lubbock. "Infinite Uses: Cross Tail, Cross Tail is a very versatile Teigu, most effectively used by someone with creativity. the wires to create a perimeter used to detect enemies who crossed through them. They can also be used to trap and attack the enemies." Lubbock come up behind Sayo with his wire close to her nick.
"Oh it look like we told you too much." Lubbock joked as Sayo eyes widened in fear. "Look like your going to be with us forever." Sayo looked over at Ash who sighed and before Lubbock could react his wire was cut in half as Ash pushed him to the side and pull Sayo into a close hug.
"Your prank went to far." Ash said before looking at Sayo who holding onto his jacket and shaking.
"What up with her?" Lubbock asked before Leone place her hand on his shoulder and shook her head. "That bad?" Leone nodded.
"Just leave it." Leone said as Akame sheathed her sword and Najenda looked at Sayo who look scared and Ash comforting her and then noticed something in Sayo right sleeve and then smiled before quickly punching Ash in the stomach with right fist and the sound of metal hitting metal could be hear shocking everyone as Ash's eyes widened and Sayo is smiling.
"Got you." Sayo smiled sweetly as she just tried to stab Ash in the gut with a hidden knife but she felt something blocking her knife and she look and her eyes widened as the knife was block by red scale like skin. "Ash?" Ash smiled.
Ash padded Sayo head. "Normally that would work on normal people, but not on me." Sayo pouted. "But good try." He said before looking at his shocked Friends. "Oh before we leave for our mission i like to request sometime to go and see someone?" he asked as Najenda looked at him oddly. "the old Prime minister Chouri, he an old friend and i will like to recruit a skill Imperial arm user." Najenda smiled as she blow out the smoke from her lungs.
"The Prime minister Daughter?" The girls all looked at Ash with a confused look as Ash smiled and nodded. "Your old second in command?" He nodded.
"She would be a good warrior to have on our side and I know her skill personally." Ash smiled before Akame rolled her eyes. "Also having Chouri on our side would help us in the long run as he hold a lot of support behind him." Ash made a good point and Najenda couldn't help but smile at him for thinking ahead.
"Well then everyone has their mission, so get ready as we leave at dawn." Everyone nodded and was going to leave. "Ash could you stay behind for a minute?" Ash nodded as Najenda asked for him and the other left the room.
Ash look to his mother. "So what this is it?" Ash asked as Najenda stood up and walked up to the young man before hugging him tightly and this surprised him a little as Najenda rarely does this. "Mother?"
"Your test came back." Ash knew that something is wrong. "Your danger beast cells was 32% the day you came back to us, but now." Najenda pulled out the fold and handed them over to Ash who looked them over and his eyes turned hollow from what he seeing. "But now your more danger beast." Najenda tried to smile to cheer up her adopt son who in turned sighed and burnt the folder within his hand and this shock Najenda. "Ash?"
Ash smiled as he looked at Najenda. "I am still the same old Ash." Ash said before walking up to Najenda. "Even if i become a beast i am still going to fight." he know Najenda worries about him. "But even if i do become 'him' again i know that I wouldn't hurt anyone here." Najenda looked at the ground as Ash tried to place her at ease but she just growth more worried.
"Just promise me that if you start to turn that you stay away from the empire?" Najenda asked as she worried for the safety for the people and Ash nodded.
"I can try." Ash jumped into the air and disappeared leaving Najenda alone as she sat back down on her chair holding her head. Meanwhile Ash appeared outside of his bed room door and was about to walk in. "I can see you there Akame." I could see Akame wait around a corner from my room as she popped her head around. "what up?" I asked as Akame come out with a questionable look on her face.
"How did Murasame not kill you?" Akame asked as Ash smiled well chuckling. "No one could fight off Murasame Cruse and live?" Ash looked to his sister.
"Well just between you and me, but Murasame couldn't meet all 3 requirements to kill me." Akame blinked for a second confused making Ash walk up to her. "From what Mother and I have gather the original Dragon that was used to made my imperial arms had to have his heart destroy, blood killed, his soul and body completely destroy." Akame is more confused.
"His soul being destroy and Blood killed?" Ash nodded.
"Something that I know is that the blood of the dragon that flows in my veins is so riches with pure life-force that even if his body and heart is destroy that even a single drop of his blood remain he would regenerate and become whole again within a meant of days or hours in some records we find, but the soul part I couldn't find anything on that part and from personally experience i have my heart complete removed, my head blow off and a good chuck of my body ripped off and I still came back kicking." Ash said like it no big deal but to Akame this is a big deal as no Imperial arm should be this powerful but Ash continue. "But because of this..." He held his red hair. "I am begin a half danger beast." Akame eyes widened as Ash smiled with sadness before he looks at Akame who is in complete shock as she take a step back away from him.
"\Why didn't you tell me any for this?" She asked as Ash looked away. "We made a promise to not keep secrets from each other!" Akame screamed as to her, Ash just throw her loyalty and trust right into her face. "WHY DID YOU KEEP-" Ash cut her off from her screaming by shouting.
"BECAUSE I CARE AND LOVE YOU AKAME!" Ash said openly and Akame is shock from his out blast and begin backing off only for Ash to take a deep breath to calm down. "I didn't tell you because i knew you would worry about me even more than you normally would and you have a habit of trying to stop me." He walked up to Akame and hugged her. "I love you Akame and i just trying to keep you safe." Akame hugged the dragon back.
"I love you too." She said quietly before Ash released her and kissed her forehead and was going to walk away but Akame held onto him tightly and he sighed. "Just a bit longer?" She asked cutely and Ash couldn't say no to Akame, so he opened his room door, take Akame inside and walking over to his bed and the pair sat down on said bed only Ash is sat on the bed itself and Akame is sat on his lap holding onto him tightly as he warped his arms around her and even putted his Imperial arm to form his flaming wings and warped them Akame, but kept them on a lowed the flames to release a soft glow and to warm her up as on this night is it slowly growing colder. "Ash can i ask you something?" Akame looked up at her friend who had his eyes closed and smiling.
"You can ask me anything." Akame's face turned a little red as she take a deep breath.
"How did you become a Danger Beast?" She asked making Ash open his eyes that are giving off a soft glow.
"the day I was given this blood... I was apart of a small group of children who was being testing for affinity with Dragon type Imperial arms." Akame nodded as she knew about the empire testing with dragon types Imperial arms as they are some of the most powerful and unstable type of imperial arms that only 1.3% of the people of the empire have an Affinity for them and that only a low affinity so find someone who can weld and use one without being driven insane it close to impossible as some past users of Bahamut have been known to go on psychopath rages that used to end up with the user become like a feral animal or in some cases the users would sometime take the blade and try to kill everyone in sight. The last case of this was over 14 years ago when the user before Ash who was a powerful warrior turned on the empire because the sword had drive the woman into blood rage and it take a second Imperial arm wield to put her down and even since then the sword has gain the nickname of the 'Blade of Black Rage.' "They find that I have a pretty high Affinity with Dragon base Imperial arms as I can use Bahamut with next to no problems and around that time I meet Mother and Esdeath." Ash chuckled and Akame looked at him oddly. "Ever back then Esdeath and me?" Ash chuckled. "we used to fight all the time."
Akame could see the enjoyment on his face that she hasn't seen in a long time. not force but just a happy smile. "She find the imperial arm that turned me into the person who I am today and well she order the people we was in change of the progress to have us all test to see who had an Affinity with the Dragon's Extract and well from 15 people only 1 remained." He held Akame closes to his chest kind of hurting her a second before he calm down. "My body was was burnt alive that day and I should of dead." Akame's eyes widened from shock as she turned to look at Ash fully. "Luckily I had something that keep me together." He said with a big smile and Akame blushed as he kissed her forehead. "And ever since then I become Ash Ban the Crimson Dragon." he spoke like it was a joke.
Akame rolled her eyes before resting her head on Ash's right shoulder with a bit of a red face. "Thank you Ash for sharing this with me." Akame said as she and Ash closed their eyes and tears streaming down their cheeks, unknown to them that someone was listening in and on the other side was not other then Mine who had her mouth close by her hands as she just listened on both of the most dangerous members of Night just having a heart to heart but the most shocking thing is that Mine just find out that Ash is a danger beast
'Ash is a Danger Beast?' Mine thought to herself as she heard of Half human Danger Beasts but Ash getting turned into one by his Imperial arms and for as long as she known him, Ash has also way put on a brave face in front of everyone and just thinking about it made her blush a little and smile. "He a tribal and he good person." Mine said in a soft whisper but someone hear her.
"Mine i know your there." She hear Ash calling her and Mine froze up. "You can come in." Mine sighed and opened Ash's door to see Akame has been changed into a white shirt and is asleep on Ash's bed on Ash's right and Ash himself sat up with his back again the wall wearing a black shirt and shorts with Akame using his lap as a pillow and Ash stroking her soft black hair. "You come to check on us?" He asked as Mine walked in and closed the door behind her.
"The boss asked if you and Akame are doing ok?" Mine lied and Ash knew this as he smiled and patted the bed.
"Come here and relax." Ash speak with a big smile and Mine face turned redder and walked over Ash's bed and crawl on before laying on his left side and used his lap as well. "So you find out by me?" Ash asked softly as he pated Mine head and she nodded.
"I am sorry for sneaking around." Ash smiled before leaning over to kiss Mine on the side of her head and she is shocked by him doing this and then she feel a little discomfort with her left arm and Ash noted this.
"You ok?" He sound worried as Mine sighed.
"That friend of your decide to go in with hand to hand on me and hurt my left arm." Mine said and Ash chuckled before using his left hand to turn Mine head to make her face him as Ash bit his lower lip so that he draw blood and Mine is confused on what Ash is about to do as he leaned in and kissed Mine who eyes widened not from only the kiss, but Ash force his own blood into Mine mouth and made her drink it but only a little and he pulled away with a worried look on his face and Mine looked at him of a second before her shoulder started burning and she held onto it but the burning feeling is really painful and she could feel her bones and any miss joints that had been damage starting to put themselves back in place and her whole body is warming up to and any little pains she had are healing up. After a few minutes the warm feeling begin to fade away and Mine felt good as new. "What did you do?" She asked as Ash sighed in relief.
"Use my own blood to reset your body and thankfully you didn't scream." Ash smiled and Mine is confused on the real abilities of Ash's arms, one that can revive the dead, one that is pure Destruction and one that makes him close to unkillable and he can heal people with his own blood. "If your thinking on how, it can only heal the body and helps with fighting off poisons and other thing like it, but depending on the damage it could be pretty painful." Ash smiled like a goof and Mine just rolled her eyes before she laid on him again and fell asleep.
Ash smiled before he looked at the door to see Najenda who had walked into his room and leaned her back again his doorframe. "I see your enjoying yourself?" Najenda said and Ash smiled wells he petted the girls hair. "So how are you going to deal with Orge?" she asked as Ash looked at his mother with a smile.
"i got 2 plans. One Kill Orge the old fashioned way and the second one that I am going to try first is have Seryu watch Orge in action and to do so I have to get in touch with miss Ice Witch and have my rank restore." Najenda looked at Ash in shocked that he going this far. "She already know where I am, so I will begin heading out." Ash slowly removed himself from Akame and Mine and Laid the pair in his bed and looked at both they cute face and smile. "I also decided." Najenda looked at the dragon user. "I am going to embrace what I am in order to protect everyone." Ash put on his clothes and take both his sword imperial arms and sheathed them in his back. "I shouldn't hold back." He jumped out the window and as he begin freefalling he used his flaming wings to fly off into the night sky as the half moon is out.
Ash sighed before flying over to the capital and normally it would a 4 day trip, but flying cut it down to a 3 hours trip and he flow right into the Royal Palace air space and the dumb asses don't ever look up as he flow right to where he want to be as his wings disappeared and Ash dropped onto a wall wells using his strength to embed his hands into the wall right above a balcony just as the door of said Balcony opened and out came the beautiful Esdeath who wearing only a white shirt that bearly clover her breast as she sighed. "I miss him already." Esdeath sounded a little depressed as Ash smiled and dropped down quietly as Esdeath tried to sense Ash and she felt him to be super close and this confused her as he was miles away just a few hours ago and then Ash walked up behind her and wrapped his arm around her stomach shocking her a little as he placed his head on her right shoulder.
"Missed me?" Ash asked as Esdeath looked at him in shocked as he smiled and his warm body begin to warm up Esdeath cold body as she leaned into him with a small blushing face. The sight of an weak and vulnerable Esdeath would make people think that the ice queen has gone soft, but she only show this side of herself to her dragon. Ash smiled as the pair are enemies by nature but they care for each other.
"Yes I did miss you." Esdeath said softly as She had her head on his chest. "It was lonely without you here." Esdeath looked at Ash who just kept on smiling and she noted he looks a little different from before. "Did something happen?" Esdeath asked as Ash looked at Esdeath as he knew he could hide this from her.
"Turns out I am more Danger Beast then human nowadays." Esdeath looked at Ash in horror as her best friend is changing. "Look like my blood fell asleep when I was in prison and after i wake it up, i fell into 'Burn out' and my body start undergo a transformation." Ash removed himself from Esdeath and she watched him take off his jacket and undid his shirt and she covered her mouth in shock as the top half of Ash's chest, shoulders and half away down his arms are covered in reddish scales skin. "Don't know how much time i have left as a human." Esdeath reached out and touched his hard scale to feel how raw their are and she frowned the person who hold his humanity so dearly is slowly turning into a monster and he look to be ok with it.
"Are you ok with this?" She asked as Ash sighed.
"I'm not." Esdeath looked at Ash's eyes. "But I made a promise to two people, Akame and Kurome Ban?" Esdeath nodded but find it odd that Akame and Kurome have Ash's last name or his old clan name at that. "I made a promise to destroy this empire and grain them freedom to live they life without worry, so that why I don't care if I become a monster so long as I give them their dream." Esdeath eyes widened as now she understands why Ash is willing to give up his humanity.
"I see." Esdeath removed her hand from him. "You really are a soft hearted fool sometime." Esdeath said with a small smile as Ash shrugged with a big smile.
"Fire isn't always a force of destruction but a comfort too." Esdeath looked at Ash a little shocked as to her Ash was always a force of destruction as fire destroys everything in it path, but here he stood speaking peaceful words to her. "I will attempt I like to use my fire, but I don't like using it on people without a good reason." Esdeath sighed and pushed Ash.
"You and your soft heart." She said before folding her arms. "So why did you come back?" She asked and Ash had his hands behind his head with a big grin.
"Got to assassinate one of your captains." Esdeath raised an eye to him. "A Captain call Ogre?" Ash asked and Esdeath knew the name and sighed.
"He an ant to me." Esdeath walked into her room and sit on her bed. "So why tell me this?" Esdeath asked as Ash walked in and stood next to the balcony door. "I could have the guards come in and kill you?" She said as Ash chuckled.
"I came because I want to see you and we still best friends." Esdeath grinned.
"So are your going to rejoin the army?" she asked cheekily as Ash laughed.
"Are you going to join the Revolutionary Army?" Esdeath begin thinking to herself. "If you join then You will have to Control that bloodlust of yours." Ash spoke the true and Esdeath growl.
"Can't I just hunt Danger beasts and kill prisoners?" She asked as she looks at Ash with puppy dog eyes and Ash smiled.
"Danger beasts yes, prisoner of war No." He laid the law and Esdeath throw herself back on her bed. "They trying to get rid of people like Honest and you." Esdeath looked at her friend who looks worried. "I known how you grow up with 'The strong survive and the weak die.' but not everyone is strong like us and sometime the weak needed to be protected." Esdeath growled as she hate him right now for bring up the weak. 'what get him the right to tell her who get to live or dead, he just a weak man-' Esdeath thoughts are cut short as she just call Ash a 'weak man' when he one of if not the strongest man in the empire. "Also I don't want to see you get killed." Esdeath is confused by this.
"And who would be able to kill me?" She asked honestly as if Ash known someone who could get her a challenge then she wants to meet them and break them.
Ash sighed. "Of one there me." Esdeath knew this. "There Akame and two others who if they team up on you then, they would have a chance against you." Esdeath knowns Ash wouldn't lie to her, but that four people who are equal to her or who could be came her equal. She place her right finger in her month thinking this over.
She known of Akame and her Murasame and there a good chance of Demon Armor: Incursio being in the mix as it user Defected from the empire with it and she heard of the report of Incursio being used, but the one other night-raid? She could only think of a Imperial Arm used by them. The odds really are stack up against her.
Ash on the other hand know Esdeath is weight up her options as of right now, Ash know that Himself, Akame, Bulat and Leone all could take on Esdeath if they take her on 4 on 1 and well If Ash can get this dream team together then Esdeath is fucked as he known a few of his old unit are still alive and their are no joke with it come to facing off against Imperial arm users. "So my only chose is to join you?" She asked as Ash smiled and shrugged.
"If you win then I would have to deal with the lose of 3 close friends but if you was to be killed i would be crushed." Esdeath could see Ash choose are base off his own personally benefit, but it only has 3 out comes,
1) Esdeath kills the 3 other imperial arms user and crush the rebels but also inflicted sadness on her best friend.
2) She is killed and Ash is inflicted with deep despair
3) She joins his side, but she going to needed to a be a 'good guy' and control her bloodlust.
Esdeath growled. "Can we sleep on it?" Esdeath asked making Ash chuckle as he turned to the open window and looked to be ready to leave.
"Sure." Ash was going to leave, but Esdeath quickly take hold Ash's jacket and he turned to the ice queen who blushing a little.
"Stay?" she asked well looking Ash in the eyes and he couldn't help but smile as Esdeath is giving him a beautiful and cute smile and she held onto him tightly. "Please don't leave me alone." If you was say that Esdeath is growing soft then you would be mistaken as this is normally of the Dragon and Witch.
This made Ash smiled as he has some time to kill before he needs to end Ogre life and his friends are 4 days from the capital, so there no rush. "Sure Ice Queen." Esdeath smiled before the pair laid within Esdeath's bed. Esdeath used Ash's chest as a pillow as Ash allowed his body heat to raise warming the Queen of Ice who melt into her best friend warm body as the night passed peacefully.
