Chapter 8: One's Awakening, the World is Yours

[Los Santos]

Saturday morning. Naruto was already awake and watching Saturday morning cartoons for a small moment of nostalgia in his apartment. At least it would have been if most of the shows he wanted to see were still around. Naruto sat on the couch munching on some donuts while kicking back.

His phone rang and he saw it was an unknown number. He put it on speaker while answering.

"Hello." Naruto said after finishing another donut.

"Hello, my name is Martin Madrazo. We have not met, but I feel we will be great friends. Either that or terrible enemies and I shall feed my dogs with your entrails. We both hope it is the former... Anyway, although I am a kind and generous man, some people have interpreted my kindness for weakness and now they must pay. What kind of a scum insults a kind man? The kind of scum you will kill. I want you to seek them out at their hideouts across Los Santos and wipe them out. You can keep whatever you may find there as payment. I hear it might be quite profitable."

"Wait a minute. Why me?"

"Recommendation by your partner. She and I crossed paths a time ago, and accidentally saved my skin. I don't like owing debts. I got your first attack lined up in the evening. You will be texted the details. Adios amigo."

Martin hung up and there was the text message, 'Mile High Club construction site, Pillbox Hill. The Professionals. Strike anywhere between 12:00 - 20:00.'

There was a knock on the door.

"It's Isaribi."

Naruto walked up to the door to see her all ready for a day out. An off-white cropped tank top under a white and blue Penetrators letterman jacket, blue and white track pants, white Eris hi-tops, her Datejust watch, smoky gray eye makeup, a pair of silver rimmed blue Broker shades, and her fingerless gloves.

"Sorry about Martin. He found out I was back in town…and I was not tied to working for the Espilionists." She said, revealing a bag "I brought breakfast burritos."

"How deep is this Madrazo guy?" Naruto asked as he let her in before taking a burrito.

"He's a cartel boss, a fairly powerful guy. Good if you're not his enemy. I only got lucky because I saved him from trouble by freak accident. He contacts me now with offers of work. I only asked for two caveats. You get the offer too, and we don't get sent after the Families." Isaribi said as he ate. "I came over to explain that…and say we need to see Lester."

"So much for the morning off." Naruto said before going to get ready.

"We're not going to do any jobs for Lester yet, it's just a meet up." Isaribi said as Naruto got dressed. "Hopefully. If he has a job for us, I'm making him pay a little extra."

Naruto came out a black long sleeve shirt under a short sleeved orange button up shirt, a black denim jacket, black baggy jeans, orange canvas sneakers, his fingerless gloves, and orange t-bone shades. He got his gear and the pair left the apartment for Naruto's Dominator.

"You didn't drive over here?" He asked.

"Had to look like an unassuming jogger." Isaribi said as she got in the passenger seat. "Head over to Amarillo Vista, El Burro Heights."

Naruto started the car up and they were off. Being that it was rather early in the morning, the streets were empty and the drive was smooth. Isaribi pointed out the car as he came to a stop. The property was a small, fully-detached bungalow-style house and an external double garage. There are multiple satellite dishes and antennae on the roof. The house is surrounded by chain-link fences with additional razor wire protection in some areas above the garage. They got out and walked up to the door before she rang the bell. The door automatically opened for them to come in before closing behind them. The two entered the main room where Naruto would meet Lester, a man whose geeky look hid a sinister and sharp side.

"Naruto, Lester Crest. Lester, Naruto Uzumaki." Isaribi introduced.

"Welcome to paradise, Mr. Uzumaki." Lester said, rolling up in his wheelchair.

"Charmed." Naruto said.

"I never thought you'd be back to LS, let alone permanently. But I guess life finds a way. I make it a habit to be an information gatherer among my other talents. You've been making a name for yourself, and that is dangerous idiot. But here's some free advice, put some of your not-so hard earned money into real estate like me…and the stock market. But I can offer you services, but I'll explain after I upgrade your phone." Lester said wheeling to his computer. "We can have pesky people spying on your shit."

Naruto happily signed up for that while Lester explained what services he offered and also catching up with Isaribi.

"Oh yeah, why the heck didn't you let me know Johnny Klebitz moved to Blaine County?" Isaribi asked.

"I thought you knew. You've been in LS for a while." Lester remarked as she sighed. "I thought you cut ties."

"I did. I just hoped they'd retire, but I guess Johnny's still a total dipshit." Isaribi said as the process on Naruto's phone was done.

"Now it's far better encrypted. Comes with a few hacking programs for you to use in case." Lester said, handing it back to Naruto.

"Thanks. And thanks for the advice." Naruto remarked. "It was nice meeting you, I suppose."

"I'll contact you when I get something for you two." Lester said, keying at his computer. "But I do have something for you on the matter of information. Isaribi mentioned a cop you had dirt on it. Yugito Nii."

"I looked into her. She's IAD." Lester said sagely.

"Internal Affairs Division. Which adds up, she's there because of Akahoshi." Isaribi said thoughtfully. "I remember an agent I used to work for in '08 and '09 mentioned wanting to work there. Look up Erin Lindsay."

Lester looked up confirming she was IAD.

"What were you doing with people having ties to the IAA?" Lester asked as Isaribi cheekily shrugged. "I'll keep an eye on the two of them. In the meanwhile, I have to ask if you got yourself a place with a heist room."

"In this city, no. I have a place out in Blaine County, but…I got an eye on a stilt house in the Hills that'll have what we need. Right now, it's on sale at half off for a week. $239,000. I need just Naruto to make up half the price because it'd be easier to split the cost." Isaribi said.

"So we're finally going to be sharing a place now." Naruto said, wiggling his eyebrows.

"I suppose you both need jobs to supplement this. I got something for you. Ami Kogure." Lester said, bringing her up her profile.

"I know her, she was a part of my graduating class. A real entitled bitch." Naruto remarked. "Her family's just as entitled."

"Well, today you'll be getting some revenge. Yesterday, Ami hit an old woman with her car and put her in the hospital. She died today…and Ami and her family are sweeping it under the rug. Ami's cell phone last pinged in Paleto Bay. Her parents are under police protection in the Puerta del Sol Marina. You'll be doing the world a favor…and those who invested in Pißwasser stock." Lester said as he sent both Naruto and Isaribi the information.

The two took their leave and went back on the road.

"There goes our morning off." Naruto remarked. "But I'm not too mad about it considering Ami's a shithead and her family always gave me grief."

"I'm going to call up Danica for some intel." Isaribi said getting on her phone. "And I suppose we're going to need some backup. Thankfully, she lives in Puerta Del Sol."

"Danica, I'm coming over to your place. I need your help on something…ok, I'll meet you in your garage. Fine." Isaribi said before hanging up. "Naruto, we're going to Bay City Avenue."

When they arrived, Naruto was surprised Danica lived in a rather swanky apartment building. He drove into the apartment building's garage to see Danica there in her usual getup. Isaribi got out to explain what was going on.

"I've heard about that, and I am willing to sell you what you need at half-off." Danica said, opening up her trunk.

Funnily enough, the two mostly bought ammo and explosives. Naruto got his Mac 11 exchanged for a full on SMG before Danica closed the trunk.

"I am going to need your help with something after this. There's a weapon shipment being stashed at the Mile High Construction sit-"

"By the Professionals." Isaribi interrupted. "We got a job from someone else to strike them at that place. I don't think he knows about this shipment."

"Excellent. Let me know when it's done for me to make a pick up." Danica said as Isaribi and Naruto were readying to leave. "And a bit of advice, you may want to leave your car here and be dropped off at the marina."

Danica dropped them off as the two walked on. Two cop cars were there along with a familiar Cheetah. Hearing footsteps, the two hid as Yugito was storming her to her car with an officer following her. Both were holding a briefcase.

"But Akahoshi said…"

"Fuck this. I am not going to play bodyguard to those entitled assholes for any longer." Yugito said

"But they paid us each 40k." The officer said before Yugito threw her the briefcase in the trash can.

"They can keep their money." Yugito said, going into her car. "No amount of money would ever be worth covering for those entitled pieces of shit."

"So can I have the mon-"

Yugito drove away as the crooked cop moved towards the trashcan citing it was her loss. Said cop was struck in the back of the neck by Isaribi's carbine rifle. Naruto took the ammo while Isaribi took the cop's briefcase. Naruto got Yugito's own.

"Take the cash, but put the briefcase in the car with mine. As for this dirty cop…" Isaribi said as Naruto opened the trunk to stuff the cop in. "I'll get rid of his cell phone."

Isaribi used a sticky bomb to make sure the cop was trapped inside the trunk as Naruto hid a pipe bomb in the front while also putting two under the other cop cars. The duo made their move to the berets, and they saw the yacht in question. A custom Dinka Marquis with the Kogure couple out suntanning while having the two cops fan them.

"You have got to be kidding me." Naruto said in disbelief as Isaribi rolled his eyes. "Well there goes any remorse I could have had."

The Kogure matriarch was on the phone arguing with someone as the patriarch was listening to the music with headphones and a sleep mask on.

"We have a deal!" Mrs. Kogure snarled. "What do you mean Mr. Weston is squeezing us out? We had an agreement!"

"And we've decided that the agreement was not worth our time." The voice on the other end said. "We've also taken the liberty of paying off your police protection."

"You bitch." Mrs. Kogure snarled before hanging up.

Yugito would get a call from Akahoshi. She laid onto him that she was not going to protect those entitled pricks only for him to apologize much to his shock. He simply asked where she was and she cited she was going to get lunch.

"So you're not at the marina." Akahoshi asked.

"Yes…" She asked.

"Ok. Take the rest of the day off…just do it outside Puerta Del Sol. The Kogures? No longer our problem." Akahoshi said cryptically before hanging up.

A chill came down Yugito's spine. Part of her wanted to go back to the marina but then she saw them. Several Canis Mesa Grandes with Merryweather men going towards the marina. Her heart sank before calling back Akahoshi asking for answers.

"Sorry, all I can say, someone with a lot more power came down on us. This came from upstairs. Considering the amount given to me and sent to you…let sleeping dogs lie and don't pry for both our sakes... Goodbye." Akahoshi said before hanging up.

Her phone blipped. Three-hundred grand was put into her account. What scared her was how nervous Akahoshi sounds. She could have reported this to Erin, but she decided against that. She did realize that if she hadn't called him, she would not have gotten that money.

"Screw it, I'm going to get a massage." Yugito said before putting on the speed.

Naruto and Isaribi were not sure how to feel about it, but before they could reach the boat…it was assaulted with a hail of bullets.

"Shit. Merryweather's here." Isaribi said before pulling on Naruto's hand. "We need to get out of here."

"Private security company, right?" Naruto said as they were dodging bullets.

"Yeah, and whoever hired them wanted the Kogures and cops guarding them. But they'll be distracted with this." Isaribi said, triggering the explosives.

The explosions ripped through several of the goons and blew up several of their vehicles. Naruto and Isaribi got further down the berths to see one of the cops on the boats managed to survive. Said cop was getting on a black Nagasaki Dinghy. The moment he saw the keys, Naruto shot him in the head. Naruto and Isaribi moved close enough to leap onto it. Isaribi made sure to take the dead cop's two briefcases as the cop's body sank into the water.

"You know how to drive boats?" Isaribi said as Naruto started the boat.

"I've done it before." Naruto said as he raced away from the marina.

Thanks to the boat being a light craft, they were able to get away.

"Well, Merryweather screwed up their operation. But we made another forty grand." Isaribi remarked. "And put egg on Merryweather's face. Anyway, head off in that direction. We need to get to Paleto-"

Isaribi's cell phone rang with Danica on the caller ID and she quickly answered.

"Merryweather blew the whole thing." Isaribi said annoyed.

"Seems someone else wanted them gone." Danica remarked. "If I were you…I'd get to dealing with the main target before Merryweather gets to her."

Danica hung as Naruto set a course for Paleto Cove.

On one of the small islands off Paleto Cove, a couple was stuck on one of them after an early morning fishing trip went wrong.

"I can't believe you still used that old boat and it's trashed." The wife said to her calm husband.

"It'll work out." The husband said with a shrug.

"Do you just expect someone to just give you a boat? That'll be the day I give you a rim-"

"You can give it to him after you drop us off." Isaribi interrupted. "We can't keep this boat, and we can't just abandon it."

The wife sputtered as her husband got their things before getting on the boat.

"Well, look at that…a four seater." The husband said with a grin.

"Again with this shit!" The wife said as she got on. "How do you always do that?"

"Do what?" Naruto asked as he boated away.

"Always get what he needs conveniently somehow with no effort. It's how he got me a wedding ring…" The wife said with a pout.

"I figured you wouldn't complain. It's a nice ring." The husband snarked.

"You don't know where these two got it from, they could be thieves or drug dealers." The wife remarked.

"We're not drug dealers…and technically the boat is stolen from the rich assholes who were literally just murdered by Merryweather. So at this point, it's yours after you get it resprayed. Hell, we'll even leave 10 grand for you to do that." Isaribi remarked as the wife relented.

"Look at that, a new boat and we can save money on getting it all prepped. It all worked out." The husband said with a knowing grin.

It would be near ten in the morning as they arrived on the shore of Paleto Beach. Naruto and Isaribi got off leaving the ten grand for the couple as they drove off with the boat. The two got to walking to track that last known signal leading up to the training grounds, and what they found surprised them.

Someone was about to be buried alive by two guys and Ami. Someone that Isaribi knew and did not hesitate to get her automatic pistol out to put bullets in the two goons digging a hole.

"You?!" Ami said seeing Naruto. "I…"

Naruto had his Pistol .50 aimed at her.

"Come on, don't kill me. I'm more valuable to you alive!" Ami pleaded. "Who's paying you to tell me? I'll have you double."

"Where's the money?" Naruto asked.

"It's at a safehouse. 0232 Paleto Boulevard. Shitty place but just take me there and I…"

"Antonia, it's been years." Isaribi said relieved. "You ok?"

"I am now." Antonia said as Isaribi untied her. "Who's pretty boy?"

"My new partner. Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto, this is one of my old friends, Antonio Bottino. We went to high school together." Isaribi said as she helped Antonia up. "Shit, what the hell was that about?"

"I'll explain later. We should probably clear out." Antonia said before looking at Ami. "But let's give her a viking funeral."

Ami's last words were her screaming as she was sent off a cliff in the truck the two goons came in. They made sure the bodies were in there with sticky bombs in them. Isaribi let it detonate before it hit the ocean. The three went on their way, having found Ami's car, a second generation black Benefactor Schafter. Isaribi took the wheel this time before driving away.

"We should check out that address and get off the road for a bit. So Antonia, I'm guessing those goons were after you because of your dad. I heard he got arrested in 2011." Isaribi said. "He squealed?"

"Yeah, father of the year right there. I was living it good, but then we were constantly moving to hick town after hick town. Now he's in a five-star prison cell while I'm on the out dodging bastards who want me dead." Antonia said dryly. "How you been?"

"Good. I decided to make San Andreas my home and I got a new partner." Isaribi remarked. "We were actually coming to put a bullet in Ami's head. We were supposed to kill her parents, but Merryweather got to them…and is likely going to come after Ami. They nearly got us killed."

"At least it worked out. Less corrupt cops and we snatched quite a bit of money." Naruto said relieved. "Plus, now we have this car…and a house that I'm taking."

"I call dibs on any clothes and cars she has in the garage." Isaribi chirped in.

"And you saved a woman who's going to make sure you're rewarded well for this. I should call…aw merda…my phone needs charge." Antonia said.

Paleto Bay, a coastal town in rural America, was somewhat thriving compared to its 'rivals'. Naruto and Isaribi had taken in the sights before pulling up at the safehouse. It was fairly nice for a low end house and its location was actually pretty handy.

"Near a cheap clothing store, a supermarket, spots to hide, and it's unassuming. It's actually a pretty good hideout. Even has a detached garage." Antonia said as Isaribi got the garage open to reveal an equally black Vapid FMJ. "Well shit."

"That can cover your half for the house." Isaribi said giving him 500 dollars.

"Let's see what this bitch had in her closet. Considering she fucked up my clothes." Antonia said, knocking off her dirt stained sneakers.

"He's called it a favor. His daughter hasn't called in some time and he's worried something bad has happened to her. Her name's Antonia Bottino. You're meeting up with a man known as Bepee to assist in searching for her. You should be receiving a text. Later on." Erin said before hanging up.

"I can't have a day off. Damn." She said getting on her shoes to get going. "And there's the text."

"Beppe, it's me. Where am I? Not being buried alive, that's what. I was ten seconds away from being whacked and if it wasn't for two people coming across me, I'd be buried in a shallow grave. I need to get out of here, anywhere. Meet me in Vinewood Hills. The summit at the end of Mount Haan drive." Antonia said before hanging up. "You guys ready?"

Naruto was getting on his fingerless gloves and made a quick check of his gear before nodding. The three all left for the garage as Naruto took the motorcycle.

"Dibs on the motorcycle. After all, you said all the cars in the garage, not the motorcycle." Naruto said starting it up before riding ahead.

"Oh yes, she and I have history." Isaribi said as Naruto looked surprised. "So cool it, hotshot. I figured you'd be happy to see Naruto. Considering he did save your life when he did not have to."

Yugito groaned, putting the weapon away as Antonia walked over to Beppe.

"Miss Bottino, I do want to implore about the people who…"

"Don't worry, they're all dead. So are the Kogures." Antonia said as Beppe let her into his car. "Thanks and goodbye, Isaribi. Take good care of pretty boy for me."

Beppe turned to the duo before bowing respectfully at them thanking them for delivering Antonia safe and sound, citing that they will be rewarded for this before he got in the car.

"Now, Miss Nii. You have a job to do in escorting us." Beppe said as Yugito got in her car.

She looked at Naruto and showed a bit of humility for a brief moment.

"Thank you for saving me back there." Yugito said before driving away with Beppe following her lead.

"Well, we're back in LS. I dealt with the cash payment on buying that house in the Hills. It's ours now." Isaribi said as Naruto grinned. "I let Lester know we got a heist room. He'll contact us soon. Oh, our payments for mercing the Kogures were sent. However, because we only got Ami…we're only getting a third of money."

Naruto looked at his phone to see his bank statements.

"Fifty grand ain't bad, though." Naruto said before putting it away. "I got over 100 grand now. Today, I've made more money than the whole week."

"Day's not over. We got the Professionals to whack." Isaribi said as she slipped back in her car. "Come on."

The two were off and it was not long before they arrived at the construction site to where they found the Professionals were in the middle of a firefight with several unaffiliated gangbangers. Naruto and Isaribi stuck to shealth to watch, it was clear both sides were busy shooting each other to notice the two split up to take them on.

Isaribi got behind the pillars on the side behind the Professionals. There were a few dead ones with ammo and cash that she swiped. Then she found what she knew was an Advanced MG (a Combat MG) and she snatched that up ditching her old MG.

She fired several bullets into the heads of two Professionals as the group turned their attention who was attacking them from behind. Naruto had ditched his carbine rifle for a special carbine he found about the bodies as he was shooting after the street punks. Naruto was relieved that comparatively to him, the punks were not too well armed or sharpshooters.

"No wonder the Professionals were kicking their asses. These idiots may have numbers, but…they can't aim for shit." Naruto thought before getting a headshot.

"Get this motherfucker!" One of them screamed.

"I don't think so because it's you or me!" Naruto said as he dodged Micro-SMG fire before getting another in the legs.

"Come on, test me! Test me!" Isaribi taunted as she mowed two more Professionals down before getting behind cover to reload.

"Shit, too much heat!" The lead punk said before bolting for a Bravado Rumpo. "Let's go!"

Punks that were still mostly in one piece were bolting for the van only for Naruto to grab a grenade off on the ground, unpin it, and roll it to get under the van. The explosion sent the van on its side as fire spread on it. Naruto turned his attention to the Professionals as Isaribi was in a Vapid Contender running over several Professionals.

"It's time for a cage match, me vs all of you assholes!" Isaribi said as the truck took gunfire. "And now for the finale."

Opening the driver's door, she planted a sticky bomb on the acclerator before jumping out. She tumbled before hitting the detonator letting it blow up in the face of several more of them leaving Naruto to shoot down the rest.

"Not much shooting Tex." Isaribi said mirthfully.

"You're no slouch either." Naruto said as the two came up to each other.

The two were about to seek out the spoil only for one of the street punks to climb out of the burning van getting a lucky shot. Not getting a shot at them, but at the fallen pinned grenade at their feet. The explosion was deafening…it seemed it was all over. Yes, but not exactly.

White. Naruto and Isaribi opened their eyes to see a sea of white clouds. Obviously, they were freaking out a bit. Then came a light as a figure floated down with a familiar voice.

"Isaribi. It's been too long."

Isaribi and Naruto sputtered seeing Cris Fromage float down in front of them. A woman floated down next to him, a pale-skinned woman with delicate facial features. She had extremely long, sweeping white hair, white clear eyes, and a matured feature. Her eyebrows were cut very short and round and a red shade of lipstick adorned her lips. She wore a high-collared hime-kimono which has tomoe running down the center and edges of the gown in similar shades to Cris.

"Welcome sister sister." Cris said before the other woman spoke.

"It is so good to finally meet you Naruto, my dear descendant."

"What the hell?" Naruto jerked as Isaribi wanted answers. "Who are you?"

"I am Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, your great-great-great…far great ancestor. Most of the ascended have been among the heavens and have been watching you for a long time." Kaguya said with a chuckle. "Isn't that right, Chris?"

"Of course, Mistress Kifflom." Cris said before addressing Isaribi. "You see? They said I was a charlatan. A fraud, a nothing, but I am a miracle. Look and behold in wonder. And ask yourself, what does mighty Cris Formage, leader of the Epsilon Program, do with his enormous... power? Why, he uses it to watch people, of course. Join me any time you like, in watching. They never find out and they can't harm you. It is the greatest pleasure on earth. And trust me... I have lain with a multitude of women."

"I am so confused." Naruto and Isaribi remarked.

"Don't be. It'll make sense with you and Isaribi's awakening." Kaguya said. "To join the likes of the 'protagonists' of this world."

"Protagonists?! What do you mean?" Isaribi asked.

"You already know, Isaribi. You've stood alongside four of them already…now it's time you two went back. Most will be explained." Kaguya said as Isaribi and Naruto faded out. "Cris, you may go."

Cris left as Kaguya chuckled to herself, eager to see how entertaining things would be now.

Naruto and Isaribi found themselves walking out of the Pillbox Hill Medical Center completely intact like they were never attacked. Their clothes were even restored to pristine condition. The two checked the time seeing it was two in the afternoon and walked back to the construction site. Strangely, no police were there and their vehicles were there. The two walked in still not speaking and it was Naruto who broke the silence.

"Why game logic?" Naruto asked. "I'm not complaining, but I just have to ask why."

"Honestly, it'd be some kind of big conspiracy. Quite honestly, I don't want to even look into it further than that. Let's just get the loot and get out of here. Considering my FMJ doesn't have a tracker to make it my 'Personal Vehicle', I want to get it dealt with." Isaribi said before they used their 'System' to seek the 'loot'.

To Naruto and Isaribi, who were used to doing things a way…being given a new set of rules to suddenly kick you in a new gear was bizarre. There were things the two did not mind like the weapons system to which they were both happy that they did not need to carry backpacks full of guns. The fact that this inventory applied to money too was a relief to them as well. After gathering all the dropped weapons, ammo, and money, they found three crates to which they opened.

The first crate had a pair of Katanas, much to their confusion…but they still took it. The second crate had ten grand which they split. The third crate had drugs.

"That's a lot of white." Naruto said.

"If I remember correctly, the Professionals are in part into drug distribution with ties to the Ballas, Vagos, and the Lost MC. Meaning this coke has to belong to one of them." Isaribi said spying a Granger. "Think G will take it?"

"Oh he would." Naruto said as Isaribi opened up the Granger.

The two would pack the coke in the car and Naruto would lift his motorcycle into the back before getting in the front seat.

"Hey, Naruto. How about I treat you to breakfast tomorrow?" Isaribi said as Naruto started the car. "I'm going to need today to himself…to let this all sink in."

"Trust me…I get it. I'll treat you to lunch tomorrow. I'm going to need time to myself too." Naruto said before driving away.

Isaribi walked back to her FMJ before speeding away. She headed to the nearest LS Customs on her map which was the La Mesa location before entering it. She got hit with 'menus' giving her options on how to customize her car and what upgrades her car already had. She wound up getting the tracker to make it her Personal Vehicle, limo-tinted windows, the car repainted a metallic bluish-silver, a custom plate 'ZOOM1E', and LoZSpeed Ten rims costing her $8,900. She was happy that paying for stuff was much easier now, and she would drive out with her car immediately going straight for the house in the hills. The garage even appeared far bigger on the inside, but she dismissed it as she parked before entering her and Naruto's shared base of operations. The map had marked this place as both hers and his. She went down to her bedroom before kicking off her shoes and throwing her jacket on a chair. She plopped down on her new bed.

She was supposed to be excited about the house, but her mind was awash with questions. Kaguya had noted that she had known four 'protagonists'. With hindsight, Isaribi had a feeling that Kaguya was talking about Niko, Johnny, Luis, and Huang. It all added up given all the things she had witnessed with them. The oddities were now no longer so odd.

"Wait, there was a bong on the living room table…with weed." She said before getting up to smoke it.

Naruto arrived at Gerald's apartment building to see Families' members raising eyebrows to see Naruto wheel a motorcycle out from the trunk.

"Naruto." Gerald said coming up. "You got something for me."

"Car full of snow." Naruto remarked in a muted tone. "Jacked it. You can get it checked and stuff…I need to head out. Hit me up when you get payment for this."

"You ok?" Gerald asked him.

"Yeah…just dealt with a lot of shit today, man. It's been a long day, and I seriously need to just unload." Naruto said as Gerald nodded. "So yeah, just send a guy over with my payment. Later."

Naruto rode off on the bike straight to his first apartment. He saw that Danica delivered on getting his car to his parking space as he parked his motorcycle next to it. Once inside his apartment, he put his phone on silent before slumping into the couch trying to process what happened today.

Kaguya called him her descendant, and that got her thinking about family history. He looked at his bong, and lit it up to get some weed smoked. Yes, he knew this was all insane and he wanted some smoke in him.

"I got a lot to unlock…with this." Naruto said, bringing up the menu and scrolling through it. "So much shit to take in. But…this does give a new opportunity."

He exhaled smoke. He and Isaribi should have been dead, but by some twisted miracle…they were alive. Who was he to deny an advantage that was gift wrapped to him? Maybe he really was lucky. He chuckled to himself.

(A/N: Season 1 is done at least. Originally, this was going to be two chapters, but I decided to make it one as it made a bit more sense to do so. Yes, gamer physics are coming in as I do feel it's what makes GTA fun to play…and to write. But I should clarify a few things. The 'game over' scene is based in part to GTA Online's wasted scene when you die for the first time in-game. Essentially, the Ōtsutsuki clan have been messing with this universe for a long time which is my explanation for the Naruto characters running around, the 3D and HD universes being merged, and a few other oddities. The Epsilonists basically worship the Ōtsutsuki. But now the first arc is over, and now we step forward to the second arc, The Dirty Work Arc.)
