A Sith Lord And A Deadly Agent.

The Sith Empire tightens its grip on the galaxy. The Galactic Republic and its Jedi defenders lie weakened and vulnerable after the Empire's successful military campaign. With a fragile peace negotiated, the Empire sends all potential Sith to undergo cruel and deadly trials at its Academy on the harsh planet Korriban. But the Sith are not the only dangers of the Empire. While the dark side of the force is a constant threat, even non force users could prove deadly for even the most elite of the Republic. The Imperial Agents.

These deadly agents served as spies, assassins and saboteurs for the fearsome Imperial Intelligence. Through these agents, the empire have been able to dominate countless star systems across the galaxy by tracking down and more often than not, eliminating the Empire's enemies which ranged from senators of the Galactic Republic to traitorous Imperial Moffs and bloodthirsty rebels who had ties to the Republic. The skills required for such a task meant that Imperial agents had to master several different arts, such as infiltration, seduction as well as assassination and even hand to hand combat, all in order to further the Empire's cause. Though the seduction part isn't favored by several Agents. Many of them prefer a more dangerous approach.

Right now, several Rebel soldiers, wearing stolen and repainted armors, were gathering things around their camp, while some were standing guard. Little did they know, someone deadly was watching them from the shadows. While most agents preferred to kill from the distance, this one wasn't most agents, and preferred to be more up close and personal.

"So what are we guarding this time?" One of the Rebels asked.

"I don't know the details, but I was told some of our comrades were able to steal a Sith artifact. Wasn't easy, a lot of good people died during the raid. Which is why we need to get this artifact back to neutral space before the Empire catches on" His friend explained.

"Sith artifact? That sounds like trouble" The first rebel admitted.

"It will be trouble if the Empire gets it back. Now time to move, we need to rejoin the main base as soon as possible" A third Rebel said before looking in the direction of the guards "Hey! Time to leave!".

He got no answer and moments later the guards helments rolled in front of them "Sorry, your friends won't be able to make it" They looked up and saw a man dressed in mostly black, with a hood and a white skull like mask "Now, no one make a foolish move. I am only hear to learn the location of your base. Tell me, and I might allow you to live".

This was an Emperial Agent Code Named Reaper. A name he has more than earned.

The Rebels share tense, uncomfortable looks. The leader of the group hesitates, before unholstering his blaster and drawing it at the Imperial Agent. Reaper kicks it out of his hand, sending the blaster flying into one of the rebels' head. Reaper punches the leader in the face several times before swiftly kicking another rebel in the knee, then snaps his arm into the base of another rebel's neck, knocking him to the ground. One more Rebel grabs Reaper's arm and spins him around just as Reaper kicks his friend in the head. The Rebel tries to stab Reaper with a vibro blade, only to have his arm grabbed and broke, making him cry out in pain and drop the blade, but Reaper caught it before stabbing it in to the rebel's head.

Several more rebels finally arrived after hearing the ruckus. All aimed their weapons at Reaper who looked ready to continue the battle, only for the entire rebel group to be struck down by a large current of red lightning. Frying them and killing them on the spot. Reaper looked and saw glowing red eyes in the dark.

"I told you, I could handle this alone" Reaper said.

"Yes, but you were taking to long, and I hate having my time wasted" Came a dark voice as Sith Protoss walked out of the shadows.

This was the Sith Lord, Darth Alarak. He is widely known for being one of the most cunning and deadly Sith lords in the galaxy. No one known how much blood is on his hands. Mainly because no one wants to know.

Alarak walked up to the group leader and used the force to make him sit up "You have information I require. Tell me what I want to know, and I might spare you".

"You think I'm a fool?" The leader spat.

"Yes, but that is irrelevant. Tell me were you are hiding the artifact, or suffer" Alarak said darkly.

"I will never talk!" The Leader said in defiance.

"Very well, I don't need you to talk" Alarak said before grabbing the rebel's head, and he suddenly screamed in complete agony before Alarak dropped his now life less body to the ground "I know where the artifact is".

"How did you do that?" Reaper asked.

"His mind was weak, I just needed to use the force to rip the information from his mind. Unfortunately for him, his mind could't even survive the process. He died because his body is no longer receiving brain signals, and without the brain, the body can not function" Alarak said, clearly not caring one bit about what he had just done.

"I need to remember to never get on your bad side" Reaper said.

Alarak chuckled "Trust me. If you ever end up on my bad side, you will know. Now, enough wasting time. We need to find the artifact before the rebels moves it to a secure location".

Reaper nodded and the Agent and the Sith continued on their quest. Soon enough they arrived at the rebel base. It was well guarded and had reinforced doors to keep out any intruders. There was no doubt about it. The Sith artifact was inside that base. Alarak could sense it. And it would likely be in the most secure part of the base. Plenty of guards between them and the artifact. Most people wouldn't risk an attack without back up. But Alarak and Reaper are not most people.

"So what's the plan? Taking them out through stealth and well placed bombs?" Reaper asked.

"Like I told you, I hate having my time wasted. We are taking the more, direct approach" Alarak said as he calmly walked towards the base. Reaper sighed at the sith's lack of subtlety. But he expected nothing less from a Sith Lord.

Alarak approached the base and the two guards outside noticed him. They were about to aim their weapons and tell him to stop... but before they could, they clutched their throats as they felt them selves being lifted in to the air. Like an invisible fist had lifted them by their necks. Then a snap was heard before their bodies dropped to the ground, dead due to broken necks. Alarak then walked up to the large door, and with an evilly excited look on his face, he called on the dark side before breaking down the reinforced doors like they were nothing.

The rebels inside were shocked as the doors came flying, crushing some of them, everyone looked to see two red lightsabers being turned on as Alarak walked in, along with Reaper who was now carrying his own costume made shotguns in both hands. He made them himself, and they looked a lot flashier than most other shotguns.

"Now... who wants to die first?" Alarak asked.

"OPEN FIRE!" One of the rebels shouted and everyone began firing at the two intruders.

Alarak effortlessly defended himself against the barrage of blaster bolts, even sending some back at the rebels that fired them. Reaper suddenly turned in to black smoke, allowing himself to travel between the blaster bolts and ended up in the middle of the rebel group. Before they could even react, he began firing his shotguns in all directions, not a single shot missing it's target.

The rebel's formation had been broken, allowing Alarak to dash forward and cut the heads of two of them with both his lightsabers. He then stabbed another rebel trough the heart, even lifting him in to the air. A female rebel tried to shot him from behind, only for her shot to be sent right back in to her face. Her helmet saved her life, but she was forced to take it of, revealing her now bleeding face. She looked up and saw Alarak look down at her. Showing no mercy, he raised his lightsaber and ended her life.

As that was happening, Reaper kicked a rebel before shooting him in the head, his helmet not holding up against a shotgun. He then quickly aimed his other arm to shoot another rebel in the chest. He then aimed both his shotguns over his shoulders, and shot two rebels without even looking. While he did that, Alarak rejoined the fray, cutting through Rebel soldiers like nothing. It didn't take long before the base floor was covered in dead bodies.

Having satisfied his lust for blood for the moment, Alarak headed towards the room where the artifact was. Killing the remaining rebel soldiers along the way. Until one remained, a woman, who was the leader of this rebel cell. She aimed a rocket launcher at them, with a deadly glare on her face.

"Die Imperial scums!" She yelled as she fired the rocket launcher.

The rocket flew towards Alarak before stopping inches from his face. The woman was shocked as Alarak sent the rocket back at her. She jumped to the side, escaping a direct hit, but the explosion still hurt her. She coughed for a bit as Alarak walked towards the room that had the artifact. She reached for her blaster in a desperat attempt to stop them.

"Don't bother. You lost your life the moment you made things personal for the sith" Reaper said as he aimed his shotgun at her head and pulled the trigger.

Alarak used the force to pull down a door before finding the artifact and picked it up "Here it is. It is said this artifact can enhance the power of whoever holds it. And could allow a simple apprentice to surpass his master".

"So, what? Are you going to use it to crush your rivals or something?" Reaper asked.

Alarak chuckled before clenching his fist on the artifact... and Reaper was pushed back by small shock wave as Alarak destroyed the artifact, along with whatever power it may have held. Reaper was utterly baffled, and it took him several moments to process what had just happened.

"Wait. We came all this way, fought against all these rebels... just so you could destroy it!?" He demanded.

Alarak looked at him "Indeed. I will not cheat my way to the top. I will earn my power on my own. But this artifact could've become a problem if any other sith tried to use it against me. So I removed it from the table, permanently".

"For one who doesn't like having his time wasted, you sure had no trouble wasting mine" Reaper said in clear annoyance.

"I could've handled this without your help. But I was curious of your abilities. So tell me, what was that ability you showed before? I thought you weren't a force sensitive" Alarak said.

"I'm not. But if you must know, I was put through an experiment which included some kind of sith magic of whatever. Gave me this shadow ability. It comes in handy on missions. And it allowed me to become one of the best" Reaper explained.

"Well, then maybe I will get to witness it again some day" Alarak said as they headed outside, only to be greeted by someone "Ah, Darth Malgus. What an unexpected surprise".

Darth Malgus, another Sith lord who fought in the Great Galactic War. His achievements include leading the recapture of Korriban by the Sith Empire and the destruction of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He is known throughout the galaxy as a ferocious lightsaber combatant and cunning strategist. A deadly rival for just about any sith in the galaxy. And one few would ever risk a fight with, given his note worthy jedi kills.

Next to him stood a woman with blue skin. She wasn't a Chiss, her skin was the result of experiments by people who wanted to create the perfect assassin. Like Reaper, she was an Imperial Agent, and one of the best Snipers in the galaxy. She has the code name, Widowmaker.

"Where is the artifact, Alarak?" Malgus asked.

"If you are asking, that means you already know" Alarak said simply.

Malgus glared at him "You destroyed it? Why?".

"Surely powerful Sith Lords like ourselves don't need an artifact to prove our dominance. But if you are that upset about it, I would gladly accept the chalange for a duel" Alarak said calmly.

Malgus looked like he considered the offer for a moment before turning around "Another time, once we both reach our full potential. Once we do, we will settle things".

"I look forward to it" Alarak said as he watched Malgus leave, pleased with how thing turned out.

Little did they know, someone was watching them from a distance. A woman, using her sniper to check out what was happening. Once she had seen enough she put an finger to her ear to contact her allies.

"Nova here, we are to late. The Empire beat us to the rebel base, everyone is dead, and there are two Sith Lords in the area" She said.

"Copy that. Then there is nothing we can do now. Return to base we need to head back to Republic Space before anyone realizes we are" Came the voice of Theron Shan, the secret son of Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan and Supreme Commander Jace Malcom of the Republic Military, and a member of the Republic Strategic Information Service, most commonly known simply as the Strategic Information Service, or SIS for short.

"Understood, heading back now" Nova said as she got up and left.

There may be a treaty, but both sides are still keeping close eyes on each other. Gathering as many advantages as possible before the war flares up again.

.

And here is the second chapter, focusing on the Empire side. I showed Warcraft and Diablo characters in the first one, so I used Starcraft and Overwatch for this one, while also bringing in a couple of Star Wars characters too. Now with this out of the way, it is time to focus on the first true story arc, stay tuned for that.

Tell me what you think.
