I see you

But different person in your body
Is looking back at me

That everything we shared together
Now, it isn't there

And to my heart
And in that crucial place
You held a part
There was a part of me
That only you knew
Before any of this happened
I thought the same of you
I miss who you were
Who we were together
I thought what we had
Would last forever
We had so much
So much that we shared
And all this time
I thought you cared
There's a void in my heart
Where you used to belong
When you knew my favorite everything
And we had our song
They say it's for the best
