Has anyone else been working on an implementation of Program #0037? I'm working with six others on it in our spare time, and for the sake of familiarity we started off using C, but I'm increasingly convinced that's not the right approach. The pseudocode regarding . . .

. . . want it on record until the end of time that I was right about those 'meteors' back in '86. I caught a lot of flak from folks here and at work. (Those of you who called me a tin-foil hatter know who you are). But come on! All those folks that got snapped up from top engineering departments? The four smartest guys I know get swept off to Japan for some hush-hush research project? Soviet Union falls apart a couple years later? Even if you didn't believe me when I first called it, you've all had time and signs to catch up . . .

In article **** g**-** m******d g**-** (Anthony Moreland) writes:
Sure, a few things have been played with and work fine. Just remember, the thing about anonymity? Sometimes people use it for ill. We have no way of knowing who this person is, can't verify any of his claims, and so far there's no word from the Japanese or U.S. governments. Nobody has taken the time to review most of the material in these 'leaks' yet, so it could turn out that it's garbage and this was a stunt to raise the profile on a few pieces of tech, or even just some political agenda.
I'm with Mr. Moreland on this one. I think it's important to suspend our judgment until we have more information. Lets see how many of these materials yield results before we persuade ourselves we're living through a revolution.
As for the conspiracy-minded? The less said, the better.

What I don't get is why anyone's dumb enough to fall for the whole 'alien' thing. Assuming the tech is real, isn't the more logical explanation that the U.S.A./U.S.S.R./Japan have all been developing this stuff in secret for a while now? Where's the ceiling on human gullibility?

I've recently relocated to the Bay Area and have saved up some money to get a small business rolling. Some of the most interesting schematics from the leaks seem entirely achievable if we abandon silicon wafers in favor of molybdenum. Any engineers interested in a startup should . . .
