The Screen turns on to the sound of drums being played.
"What was the sound?" Asked Petra.
"Sounds like… drums?" Tivey answered.
A view of Reach is shown.
"What the hell is that?!" Yelled Felt.
"That is what Betty's Subaru calls a 'Planet' it's a giant rock floating in space where everyone lives on, I suppose." Beatrice responds.
"It doesn't look like how I remember it." Al said.
"What does that mean?" Otto asks.
"Well it does look similar to pal and I's world but it definitely isn't the same. There's way more land on that one than ours." Al explained.
"It looks like it's on fire." Anastasia added.
Several views of a glassed Reach are shown, first the entire planet, then closer shots from low orbit and finally, from near the ground, facing a towering mountain. Its tip has been divided in two by the glassing. A crashed UNSC Pelican can be seen on a hill to the right.
"Yep, definitely on fire." Felt says.
"What could cause the entire world to be set on fire?" Emilia asks.
"It had to be something powerful to be able to do that." Reinhard responded.
The camera moves down to reveal a severely damaged helmet lying on the smoking ground.
"What a weird helmet." Crusch said.
"Is that glass?" Rem asks.
"Big Bro' world is really weird." Felt said.
The screen fades to white as the title appears on the screen

The screen then fades to black.
"Reach?" Felix asks.
"It's probably the name of the… planet as Lady Beatrice called it." Wilhelm responded.
The Screen turns back on to the sound of loud footsteps.
The camera moves along a hallway passing soldiers as they walk by. It eventually reaches a giant metal door with a nameplate next to it.
'Dr. Catherine Halsey'
"A doctor nya?" Felix states.
The screen shows an old looking woman behind a glass wall talking to two men. The first is a middle aged man wearing a grey uniform. The second is a man wearing a blue spartan armour.
"Looks important if she's behind all that glass." Ricardo states.
"Mimi can just blow right through that." Mimi states as she swings her staff.
"You're asking me to give you another spartan for your Noble team." Halsey asked with an eyebrow raised as she opened a drawer in the wall.
"Spartan?" Julius asks.
"Probably some type of soldiers." Crusch answered.
"That's correct." Holland states.
"And in return I get your help in continuing my research." Halsey asks as she continues to sort through drawers in the wall.
"Me and my team will assist you in your research and protect it. I just want my team to be back at full strength." Carter said.
"I understand that Commander but can you really assist me?" Halsey said as she grabbed a file and walked towards the glass.
"You have my word."
"Actions speak louder than words Commander." Halsey said as she opened a container in the glass and placed the folder in the container. She then pushes it toward Holland.
"But I guess I will see if you do keep your words." Halsey said.
Holland grabs the folder and opens it.
"Spartan-B312. The best one out of the Spartan III Commando group." Halsey said.
"I've heard of him. He was a test pilot in the Sabre program." Holland says as he continues through the file.
"Yes, but that's most of what ONI allows you to hear." Halsey said.
" Black ink?" Carter asks.
"What's black ink?" Emilia asks.
"I… don't know, in fact." Beatrice said.
"I bet it's a type of food." Mimi said.
"Yes, and ONI has used A LOT of black ink for this one." Halsey states as she opens another drawer and pulls out another file.
"And his rating?" Carter asks.
Halsey grins. "Hyper-Lethal Vector"
Holland and Carter widen their eyes.
"Sounds scary." Ricardo said.
"I bet I could take h'm." Garfiel said.
"There's only one other Spartan with that rating." Halsey said.
"B312 gained a reputation as an efficient lone-wolf assassin head hunter, having single-handedly broken organizations and made entire militia groups disappear." Halsey reads through the file before placing it in the container.
"And allegedly his superior used him as his own private grim reaper." Halsey adds.
Many eyes widened to this.
"H-He must be a monster." Crusch said.
"To make entire militia groups disappear… how can someone do this?" Anastasia asked herself as she stroked her scarf.
"What's a lone-wolf?" Petra asked.
"It's someone who goes out and does things on their own." Answered Al.
"And a headhunter?" Asked Emilia.
"Usuaaaaally bounty hunters or assaaaassins." Roswaal answered.
"T-Then why would his superior allow him to be assigned to be on Noble Team?" Holland asks.
"Yes, why would they let go of such a valuable asset?" Anastasia asked.
"His superior was very reluctant to let him go but me and a few ONI heads… persuaded him to let go of B312." Halsey responded.
Holland hands Carter the file as he skims through it before looking at Halsey.
"I understand that but what about his name? Usually their name would be on their personal file." Carter asks.
"Well his superior tried to get rid of some things but we were able to retrieve his records for his birth name, race, and planet." Halsey states as she retrieves the files from the container and places them back in the drawers.
"And his name?" Carter asked with an eyebrow raised.
"... Subaru Natsuki"
The Screen then cuts to a familiar face.
He looked older than normal. He had his hair down (Hair down Subaru is premium edition Subaru), and has almost noticeable facial hair. He also has three scars along his face. One on his chin, another that ends above his top lip, and one going past his right eyebrow. The only thing that actually told them this was Subaru was his mean looking Sanpaku eyes.
"W-Whoa" Crusch said, eyes wide.
"S-Subaru-kun" Rem said with a nosebleed.
"He looks older." Otto said.
"A-And more handsome." Anastasia added.
"Hmph, Betty's Subaru is already handsome as he is, in fact." Beatrice says.
"So Subaru is this 'Grim Reaper'?" Asked Wilhelm.
"It would seem so." Otto said.
"Interesting." Priscilla mused.
Subaru stares into the visor of his helmet, before pulling it on.
The screen zooms out to the Warthog that Subaru is riding in that is heading towards a UNSC outpost. Two Falcons flying in above the Warthog.
"What are those?" Garfiel asked.
"I think that one of those 'kars' that are in Subaru-sama's world." Fredricia said.
"What about those flying things?" Otto asked.
"I… don't know, I suppose." Beatrice states.
"I don't remember any of that." Al said.
Both Falcons land in the camp, and the Warthog pulls to a stop. Subaru gets out of the Warthog, and moves toward a building.
A voice is then heard as Subaru makes his way towards the building.
"Contact with Visegrad Relay was lost last night. All signals flatlined at twenty-six hundred hours."
Jun, sitting outside a Falcon's passenger cabin, watches as Subaru passes by, while placing rounds into a sniper rifle magazine.
"I responded with trooper fire teams, which have since been declared MIA."
Carter is shown from behind, watching a holographic computer screen displaying Holland's portrait and other information.
"And now you're sending us."
"The Office of Naval Intelligence believes deployment of a Spartan team is a gross misallocation of valuable resources. I disagree."
Subaru reaches the door, and stares at Emile (younger and present me thinking this is the coolest shit ever) who is sharpening his kukri against his shoulder pauldron.
"Badass." Felt said.
Felt-sama, please don't speak such language." Reinhard said.
"That reminds me of the blades of that girl, Elsa." Al said.
"P-Please don't talk about her." Otto says.
Subaru attempts to enter, but is stopped by Kat.
"Commander." Kat calls.
Carter and Jorge turn to look at Subaru.
"So that's our new number six." Jorge says as he takes a look at Subaru
Subaru steps forward.
"Kat, you read his file?" Emile asks.
"Only the parts that weren't covered in black ink." Kat responds.
Carter turns back to the screen.
"Anyone claim responsibility, sir?" Carter asks.
"ONI thinks it might be the local insurrection. Five months ago, they pulled a similar job on Harmony. Hit a relay to take out our eyes and ears, then stole two freighters from dry-dock. That cannot happen here. Reach is too damn important. I want that relay back online, Noble One."
""Insurrectionists? Like rebels?" Rem asked.
"They are most likely at some kind of civil war or rebellion." answered Wilhelm.
Carter nods. "Sir. Consider it done."
"Then I'll see you on the other side. Holland out."
Jorge and Emile stand up. Carter grabs his helmet from the table and turns to face Subaru.
"Lieutenant." Carter calls.
"Commander. Sir." Subaru responds.
"Subaru-dono must be well trained." Wilhelm said.
Jorge and Emile start moving out. Kat joins them by the door.
"I'm Carter, Noble Team's leader. That's Kat, Noble Two, Emile and Jorge, Four and Five. You're riding with me, Noble Six." Carter explains.
Cuts to the Spartans exiting the building, with Subaru next to Carter, with Kat. Emile, who sheathes his knife, and Jorge walking side by side in front of them, towards the Falcon.
"I'm not gonna lie to you, Lieutenant. You're stepping into some shoes the rest of the squad would rather leave unfilled." Carter explains.
The Spartans reach the Falcon, with the other three moving to one off screen, and Subaru and Carter getting into the one where Jun is already waiting.
"Me, I'm just happy to have Noble back up to full strength. Just one thing. I've seen your file. Even the parts the ONI censors didn't want me to. I'm glad to have your skill set, but we're a team. That lone wolf stuff stays behind. Clear?" Carter said.
Carter signals for the other Falcon to get airborne.
"Got it, sir." Subaru responds.
"I just realized that his voice sounds deeper." Reinhard points out.
"Your right nya." Felix said.
"I prefer his voice exactly how it is now, I suppose." Beatrice says.
"Welcome to Reach."
The Falcons take off and start moving toward a mountain range in the distance.
The Screen fades to black.
So how was it?
"That was cool!" The kids cheer.
"I say that was very interesting." Crusch said.
"Cap'n sounded so cool! Just like always!" Garfiel said.
Well I'm glad you liked it, because you'll be watching this 'adventure' that your friend is going to have.
"Is it just me or does the warden sound different?" Emilia asked.
"Yeah. Hey, what happened to the scary big voice?" Mimi yelled.
Oh he's good. He's just working on some things now and I decided to jump in on the fun
"Wait so there's more of you?" Julius asked.
Yep, there's a whole lotta of us, anyway you can all rest for now. I'll be back in a hour
