Not far from the bar mendel and elise were at the local library checking out books on what happened here until "i think we have enough info to get start" mendel said only because he rather be tinkering with N.I.G.E.L. but as soon as he got up elise stopped him "you sure you hate weather like this" so mendel said "ill take my chances" and with that he left. Meanwhile randy and monique were searching for anyone around town until they came up on an old abandoned mine and noticed what appears to be the scene of a battle "this is weird theres no bullets here and plenty there" monique only stated "they may of being shooting at an animal" but randy noticed there's no animal tracks "maybe there's answers inside" so the two enter the mine. One hour later they reached what appears to be an alter and what they saw made there heart skip a beat "oh man gold were rich!' monique only looked blank "this is not ours we shouldn't even be here" soon she started to walk away until she found a golden mask and forgot the words she spoke and took it only see randy watch her "hey i won't say a word swear now lets get out of here" monique nodded and followed randy but what they didn't take into consideration was the mask was a key and above its perch was why new austin and west elizabeths population was reduced quickly. A hyroglyp shows the mask being used to seal the doors to hell and what happened was terrible, the mask was stolen and with the doorway open the dead rose and started to cause chaos soon everywhere was infested with zombies until one man, John Marston returned the mask to its resting place and sent the dead back to where they came from soon an arm broke through the surface and rose a zombie meaning one thing, H.E.A.T have awoken the dead again and this time theres no escape.
