The H.E.A.T. team was so confused as to why nick suggested winter so he began to explain "cameron only wants to sell military hardware to make cash but he can't do that if all his customers were dead" elise soon caught on "i see where your going" soon nick took out a laptop and called up winter "nickels to what do i..." but he was stopped "cameron we need your help i think we woke the dead" soon cameron looked confused until the body of the dead zombie was in front of him and after a while winter agreed to help "ok ill find anything on how to stop this curse you just hang there" and soon he disconnected. Eight hours later the weapons were set and the bar was fortified and in the nick of time, not far away the ground shook and the dead started to rise and they were pissed soon everywhere was filled with zombies even monique was scared out of her mind she signed up to fight mutations not the undead, then the fight started the dead charged and everyone started shooting and they managed to kill some of them but the zombie horde still kept coming and soon some of them managed to get up the building that was when mendel was grabbed by his coat and all he could was scream so monique shot the goul in the head and just like that the former fell dead "thanks I owe..." but before mendel could finish a giant arm pulled him out the window and like ringing the dinner bell all the zombies began to feast on him "NO" everyone looked and saw monique crying and then saw mendel get ripped to pieces, elise began to break down and randy was panicking then nick sees jack sitting down like he was used to it and so the attack kept going until dawn soon everyone woke up put remained alert for there were still undead in the area "i still cant believe mendels gone" elise said sadly until monique came up "im so sorry if i hadn't have took that mask we wouldn't be in this mess" soon jack gave her a hug "hey really wasn't your fault you didn't know about this whole curse look im sorry for going mental on you but all we can do now is find away to stop this thing from spreading or more innocent people are going die" then the laptop came up with cameron there "nick i found something that might be key to stopping this thing ok in" then some files came up "ok so heres what i found there's a large horde of zombies at an old dig site at a place called fort mercer probably a good idea to start there" nick soon got the images of the fort and they were odd, it looked like a shrine of some sort in the fort definitely needs checking "thanks cameron keep up dated" nick said and the cameron was gone. Everyone was getting ready to head for the fort until "wait you know my father went around cleaning out cemeteries of them beasts i reckon we clear the basterds out we might slow there numbers down" jack said so nick came up with a plan "randy monique head to the cemetery see if you can keep these things down for good" both of them nodded when jack gave them torchs "use these burn the coffins that are closed and you draw out the big one" before both could answer "well don't just stand their you started it you fix it now get".
