He looked down at the young woman in his arms. She was so beautiful, such a fragile creature. Why did Lucius have to do this to her. He shook his head and sprinted towards the school.

He reached the doors in good time. He waved his wand and they opened. He walked into the Entrance Hall and someone came out of the shadows, wand lit.
"Severus, what.." Minerva McGonagall started. Then she saw Hermione. "Oh Merlin, Severus what happend?"
"I was coming back from the meeting and took a short cut through the forest. I found her tied to a tree. She's been raped Minerva." she gasped. "I'm sure, without a doubt who it was, only one man uses that spell on his victims. Lucius Malfoy."
"Lucius, here? But how?"
"I don't know Minerva, but Miss Granger here is only just clinging to life. I have to get her to Poppy." and with that he ran through a tapestry shortcut, and disappeared from her view.

Madame Pomfrey managed to heal Hermione physically though, as she said, she had no idea what her mental state would be when she woke. Severus sat down in the chair beside the bed to wait for her return to conciousness.
