"According to this book, in September of 2018, the ordinary high schooler Tokiwa Sougo embarks on a path which leads him to become the overlord of time, Oma Zi-O. (Switches to Sougo with Ride Watches all around him. He reaches out for the Zi-O Watch. Switches to Zi-O and Ghost back to back with the Parkers all lining up.)

We are Sougo… Ghost's World…
Our time Mazines land in a park hidden by the shade of the trees. We step out of the Mazines as we are all hit with a wave of heat and the sounds of cicada. Is this… I stepped out to look at the building's skyline to see a modern day Japan. "Ooh~, Wow that's nice." I said feeling the warm air against my skin.
"How is this nice?" Olga asks, I look at her and her outfit… Oh, right. "Sigh~ I understand if this feels nice to you. But this uniform doesn't help my own thoughts of this Coun- Japan's hot summer." Olga said, trying to fan air into her outfit.
"So this is Japan's summer I've heard about!" Mash said, with excitement plastered onto her face, seemingly unfazed by the heat and more excited about being in Japan. "Senpai look! We are in Japan!" Mash said pointing at the skyline. Wow, it's amazing to see her like this… Wait.
"Mash, we've been to Build, and Ex-Aid's worlds all of which are in Japan, why are you so excited now?" I ask Mash, she looks at me and back at the city.
"Well it's… It's just that before we were in such a rush to stop the Alter's we never got to enjoy the scenery." Mash said putting her hands together and giving me a smile. "We just had so little time to enjoy the environment." Mash explained.
"Speaking of enjoying. Geiz? Are you doing alright?" Tsukuyomi asks, we look over to Geiz to see he's sweating already in his black and red tracksuit…
"Umm… Geiz? Are you… Going to be okay in that track suit?" I ask Geiz, as we all look at Geiz who's sweating bullets while trying to not show it. "Maybe… We should get you and the Director something cooler?" I suggest, to which Geiz scoffs.
"I'm in no need of… Such things..." Geiz said. I walked over to him and grabbed him on the shoulder. Ah! I pull my hand away. He's burning up! I look at my hand at Geiz face burning red. I look at the Director who nods in agreement.
"Right, I doubt that. For right now let's get a change of clothes and get out of the heat." Director said as she looked at me. "You seem to know the lay of the land… Or, know how the streets work well enough. We'll be relying on you." Director tells me, I salute and gesture to go, as we walk off. We walk through the park and into the city, where I spot a shopping mall.
"In there. We should be able to get cooler clothes and cool off." I said pointing at the building.
We are observers… Ghost world 2014...
Near a Construction site a Police officer watches ensuring the roads are safe. "Nii-san!" A voice calls out from down the road. The officer looks over to see a woman approaching with a lunch box placed in a bag. "You forgot your lunch again, you goof." The woman said to the officer with a smile. "Here." She said, handing the bento over to the Officer.
"Thanks, sorry for the trouble Mika." The officer said, taking the bag.
"Stay safe today okay? Ren-nii." Mika said to Ren, the two say goodbye to each other and head their separate ways. Ren looks into the bag, then glances back at Mika. Noticing that the crane at the construction site tips with the metal beams it carries falls down.
"Mika! Look out!" Ren shouts as he runs towards Mika managing to push her out of the way, but not before the beams drop on Ren. Mika looks back only to see Ghost Alter stand up.
"Wha… Where did… Ren-nii!? Where are you!?" Mika shouts out, Ghost Alter approaches, Mika backs up.
We are Sougo… Shopping mall…
I place a few coins into the Vending machine. *Beep* The Vending machine drops a soda bottle at the slot on the bottom. I reach down and pick up the drink, I repeat the process to get 3 more drinks. *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* Taking the four drinks I walk back over to the clothing store where Geiz observes the Director and Mash in the clothing store. "Hmm..." Director stared at the lines of clothes before her, wondering which one to choose.
"U-Umm… D-Director?" Mask asks, Director glances over to Mash who's standing in a changing room hidden by a curtain. "Do I really require these clothes? I-I mean, just a simple, cooler dress would work." Mash asks peeking out from behind the curtain. "I-I mean, Senpai and Geiz-san are already changed." Mash said.
"Not at all Mash! I know your regular clothes are uniform standard but since we are here we must take advantage of this rare opportunity!" Director said, grabbing a set of clothes and handing it to Mash. "Here try this on." Director said, Mash timidly reaches out and takes the dress.
"I can't help but agree with Mash, this is a distraction to our mission." Geiz said, crossing his arms while we watched from a distance. I place down 2 drinks on a table next to all the racks, handing Geiz one soda. "Oh, thanks." Geiz said opening the bottle and taking a sip stopping in surprise. "What the?! It's fuzzy..." Geiz said looking at the drink.
"What? You've never had a So~... Right. Nevermind. It's a Carbonated Drink. It's fuzzy, that's the cool part about it." I explained to Geiz opening my own bottle and taking a glug. "Ah~! That hits the spot!" I said with a smile. "Ah, you sure you don't want a drink Charlotte?" I said turning around to Charlotte who nods.
"Yes, I'm quite fine Sougo. Servants don't need to sleep or drink though it is a habit we carry from our days alive." Charlotte explained. Yeah, that makes sense.
"Well, even though I doubt this will be our last time we are in a modern city, you should get a chance to learn modern culture… Or, past culture?" I said, since Charlotte technically was summoned into the future she never had a chance to see modern culture as it is no- Before. "I mean, you already seem to have an affinity with modern fashion." I said looking at Charlotte. She's dressed in a brown and white summer V neck dress that exposes her chest, with a straw hat, with a strap around the neck, and gladiator straw shoes.
"Maybe… But I would rather start to experience things at my own pace." Charlotte said with a smile.
"Charlotte! Could you come here a sec? I would like your help." Director asks Charlotte. Charlotte looks over at Geiz, who shrugs then nods.
"I'm coming." Charlotte said, walking over to the rack of clothes to give her opinion. Geiz and I watch as Charlotte walks over to Director and Mash and the three begin to talk.
"Figures she would be like that… I mean, even after seeing modern society in two dimensions, she's probably just now settling into her reality." I said with a chuckle, to which Geiz's face saddened. "Hmm? D-Did I say something wrong?" I ask Geiz.
"No, what you said is true… It's simply that… She had… Quite the reaction when I summoned her. Is all..." Geiz said. Quite the rea- Oh… Right. I had destroyed the world. To her, it must have felt like the world was destroyed because of her. Even if it was for a time, feeling that guilt and now even meeting faces of the past must be weighing down on her… Sigh~ I just feel like shit now… And now awkward. I glanced at Geiz, his face clearly worried.
"Let's change the topic." I said, looking back ahead. Geiz simply nods at my comment. "So… There is something I need to ask you." I said looking at Geiz, he turns to look at me.
"Why are we wasting time buying clothes?" Geiz guesses. Eh?
"No!... Well yes, but still… Why are you wearing that harness?" I ask looking at Geiz. He wears a white buttoned shirt with short sleeves, blue jeans, and light colored running shoes, the ride watch holder on his left hand, and still wearing the black and red harness around all of that. "Why do you even need that harness on?" I ask Geiz.
"It's tactical." Geiz answers. I look at Geiz from top to bottom, before looking at him straight in his eyes. "What?" Geiz said.
"Dude… Bull-shit." I said pointing at Geiz."There is no way that is tactical, moreover even if it is there is no reason to wear it now." I pointed out, looking at the harness. "You just like how it looks on you." I said with a smile on my face.
"Wha- I-I already told you it's because it's tactical!" Geiz exclaims.
"Sure~." I said with a shrug. Geiz gives me an angry glare, I shrug with a sarcastic smile. "I'm just saying. I'm not convinced. Admit it! You think having that vest makes you look cool!" I said, Geiz sighs rolling his eyes. "Oh? Looks like the director wants us to come over. Let's go check it out." I said grabbing the drinks off the table, the two of us walked over to the store. "Here director, want one?" I said handing a drink to the Director.
"Yes, thank you. I'll take the… These are carbonated..." Director said, looking at the drinks. I shrugged. "Sigh~ Forget it. I'll take the Melon one." Director said, taking the bottle. "Sill, what do you think?" Director said, pointing at the curtain. "You can come out Mash!" Director said. Timidly Mash steps out of the changing room.
"Whoa." I mutter as Mash steps out in a blue and white striped one piece dress with a straw hat, and has her regular uniform's glasses on. "Mash, you look… Beautiful." I said.
"Wha-!? Y-You t-think so?" Mash asks me, her face becoming bright red.
"Yeah, I mean it." I said, looking at the Director. "Great choice director!" I said to her, she smiles with pride as she puts her hand on her chest.
"I'm quite confident in my fashion sense. Though the hat idea was Charlottes. She has quite the knack for hats." Director said, gesturing to Charlotte who takes a bit of a bow. I look at Geiz to see his reaction and his is… Mild? That's the best I can describe it as. Director then pauses looking to her right. "Looks nice right? Yeah, I think so too." Director said to seemingly no one…
"Um… Director? Who are you talking to?" I ask her. She looks at me with a confused face.
"What do you mean? The woman standing to our right." Director answered. I look at her right, with no one standing there. Just shoppers further off from where she's pointing. "Wait, are you telling me you can't see them?" Director asks me. I shake my head. I look at Charlotte and Mash who also shake their heads. I look at Geiz who looks a bit worried now.
"No one." I answer.
"Director? Do you possibly have Mystic eyes?" Mash asks the Director. I turn to Mash raising an eyebrow.
"A Mystic Eye?" I ask. "What's a Mystic Eye?" I repeat, when I hear my phone ring. I take out my phone and see who's calling. "Uh… Da Vinci?" I ask
"Hello~! I can't help but overhear the conversation. So allow the Genius like myself to answer your question little time man!" Da Vinci said over the call. "A Mystic Eye is a form of Magic Circuit mutation on the eyes, it allows many different kinds of magic abilities to be activated without need of a chant or circle. Not to mention it let's you see things that others can not." Da Vinci explained to me.
"So then… The Director has Mystic Eyes?" I ask.
"Doesn't look to be that way." Roman pops in. "I would notice if something like that were to occur." Roman notes crossing his arms. "Da Vinci, are there any signatures besides the people there?" Roman asks.
"Checking… Whoa… I spotted the one the Direcrector is talking to but… Also there are hundreds of signatures like them! Like an army of different spirits." Da Vinci said, I hear a text sound from my phone. Opening the text I see the scanned image, to see hundreds of different signatures. Geiz tenses up behind me.
"Whoa… So are these like Ghosts? Or Spirits or something?" I ask.
"Something of the like, my Overlord." Woz said, everyone jumps in surprise. "Greeting, my Overlord." Woz said bowing to me.
"W-Woz… I guess you're here to clarify what kind of world we are in?" I ask, Woz nods.
"Very perceptive my Overlord." Woz said as he opened his book. No, it's just what you do whenever you appear before us… "I shall keep this brief. As to not waste too much time. This world is home to Humans and Phantoms. Literal materlizations of "Spirits" and people's own imagination. They can appear in normal objects or entirely on their own. Which is why they are visible to the director and not to the rest of you." Woz said as he showed us the image of a Kamen Rider. "In this world, Kamen Rider Ghost is a Ghost and Phantom Hunter. These Hunters manage Phantoms who begin to cause trouble in this world. And Ghosts, or as their more commonly known as: Gamma, are the spirit forms of another Species of Humans from an alternate dimension. Kamen Rider Ghost uses legendary heroes to battle the Gamma from invading this world." Woz explains, he closes his book then looks at all of us. "I should also add that certain people other than Ghost himself have Powers." Woz said.
"You mean like Magic?" Mash asks, Woz shakes his head.
"No, but a passerby, might mistake it for Magic. It's like a Mutation that was caused as a result of a Virus that brought the reality of the Phantoms to mix with humans." Woz said. "It's this same Virus that brings Phantoms and Gamma into visible view, causes mutations in children who develop powers. But it is not Magic." Woz clarifies.
"Okay, but here's my question. Where do we find Ghost?" I ask, Woz simply points to a community board. "The Board?" I ask walking over to the board, I look at the board to see a poster for the Daitenku Temple Ghost Hunter services. "Oh… Okay, fair." I said turning back to Woz.
"I have a question for you as well Woz." Olga asks. "Do you know anything about that Blue Rider?" Olga asks Woz. Woz looks at the director, then glancing over to Geiz.
"I do, but I believe that Geiz and Tsukuyomi-kun would know more than me." Woz said as he stepped away. "Thus I have done what I have come to do. Good day." Woz said before grabbing his scarf again, using it to disappear into the air again… We glance at Geiz who has his hands clenched.
"Geiz? Do you know who this Blue Rider is?" Olga asks.
"Geiz, we need to tell them. If it's her, then it's no question it's her who gave us the coordinates." Tsukuyomi said, Geiz nods looking at us.
"That Rider's name is Echo. Kamen Rider Echo, it's user is my universe's version of the Director." Geiz said surprising all of us. Wait… I couldn't do anything when I tried to save the Director. Geiz was the one who saved her… "My version of Olga only managed to survive though grabbing the Holy Grail that was in the 1st Singularity." Geiz explains. Oh, so she used it to get herself a new body then. "Oma Zi-O was ordered by Echo to grant a new body for Echo." Geiz finishes explaining.
"So you think she came here to help us?" I ask.
"I'm surprised that the Director even survived, last we saw her." Charlotte said, the Director, me, and Mash all glance at Charlotte.
"See, before Geiz, Tsukuyomi, and I came to this universe. The Dire- I guess Echo would make it easier to say." Charlotte said glancing over at Geiz to see his reaction. Geiz nods in agreement, Charlotte continues. "The Time Mazines that the Resistance has can't time travel, on ones that Oma Zi-O possess have those features. Thus we needed to break into the Chaldea facility. While their we managed to grab the Ghost Ride Watch." Charlotte explains. Oh so that's why it must have taken so many lives to acquire. "Our raid party was all but wiped out, say for the three of us and Echo. Echo told us to take the Time Mazines to go back into the past of another universe." Charlotte explains.
"It was part of a larger plan to have the Resistance exodius into this universe that never had Oma Zi-O. I took it as changing your future Sougo." Tsukuyomi pops in explaining. So then, this would have been their escape plan.
"I took it as a chance to take you out… But here we are now. So I assume Echo managed to take another Time Mazine here." Geiz surmises.
"So then, why hasn't the Dire-Echo contacted us directly yet?" Mash asks.
"We can only guess. I think it's to keep some distance from Sougo perhaps?" Tsukuyomi wonders.
"Who knows." Geiz shrugs, then looks at us all. "Altho I suggest we stop wasting time and get going to this Ghost Hunting place." Geiz said.
"Geiz is right. Let's set out... Right after we purchase these clothes." Olga said, pushing Mash back into the changing room. "So you and Sougo head ahead if you want. The three of us will meet you there." Olga orders… Geiz and I look at each other.
"I… Guess we should go now?" I suggest, Geiz nods and we head off.
Daitenku Temple…
Geiz and I get off our bikes and park them outside the temple's steps. "So this is a temple. A place where people did worship… I never understood why people worshiped people of power above them." Geiz said looking at the gate to the temple.
"It's just that some people take comfort in the idea that there's a higher power looking over them." I said as we walked up the stairs.
"Yeah… But whenever I hear "Higher Power" I think Oma Zi-O. Or Jeanne Alter." Geiz said looking at me. Okay, I can see that. "And aren't Kings supposed to be "Blessed by Gods?" Or something?" Geiz asks.
"Yeah, it's like a kind of "Divine Right" by the lord or something like that." I explained. "But there are many different ways of interpretation. Like in this case, this temple is a Shinto Temple. Shinto is a religion that focuses on the individual." I said as we reached the temple I gestured to the temple area. "The basic beliefs are that there is no absolute right and wrong, and nobody is perfect. Shinto is an optimistic faith, as humans are thought to be fundamentally good, and evil is believed to be caused by evil spirits. Consequently, the purpose of most Shinto rituals is to keep away evil spirits by purification, prayers and offerings to the kami." I explain.
"Huh…" Geiz said. Uh… I was expecting a bit more of a reaction… "That's nice… I guess, but I'm not really interested in the idea of Religion to begin with." Geiz said, crossing his arms. Oh, right. I guess not many people in the future are quite keen on the idea of religions. Especially with Oma Zi-O probably controlling or destroying all places of worship… But...
"Well… I… Agree with you there." I said scratching the back of my head.
"Oh? That's a surprise. I thought you wanted to be a King. Don't you need a "Divine Right" by God or something?" Geiz asks, I roll my eyes and groan as I cross my own arms.
"I'm not interested in that. Using God as a crutch feels like a cop-out. Too many Kings' rights to the throne were all based on God. I hate that idea. It means to say that God doesn't look at the person who will become god, and just lets them have the throne. I want to be a King on my own Merit!" I exclaim, God has no power over me! I choose my own fate… Wait… "Hold on, if I'm not following the Path of God and striking out on my own… Isn't that the devils path?..." I mutter to myself. "Am I… Already going down the path of a Demonlord?!" I exclaim.
"I don't get this whole Demon talk… But… Maybe?" Geiz said, shrugging.
"Well, that "Path of the Demon" is more of a Christanity thing." I hear behind me. Geiz and I look into the temple to see a man looking at us with a cat by his side.
The man is a 5ft 11in man with light blond hair. He wears a necklace with a Katana sword guard wrapped on the blade. He's dressed in a white shirt with a kimono like coat over the shirt. The right side of the shirt is dark blue, the left side is light blue with floral design across it, up at the neck is a black and white cross patterned neck collar. At his waist is a belt with black, light purple, blue, and a line of white patterned across the suit.
The cat is a American Shorthair cat with black and orange fur.
"Oh, yeah… I guess that is a Christanity thing. Ah- Sorry. Greetings!" I said bowing to the man.
"Hey." Geiz said, waving hello.
"Greeting you two. Sougo, and Geiz-san right?" The man said.
"Huh?... How do you know our names?" I asked, Geiz immediately goes on the defensive and takes out his belt. "Ah-! Wait! Let him explain himself first!" I exclaim grabbing Geiz's arm. "He isn't a threat to us! So chill dude!" I said to Geiz.
"Sigh~ What's with you? You got trust issues or something?" A voice asks. I began to open my mouth to answer. Wait… That wasn't me or Geiz… Geiz and I look at the man. The man shakes his head and points to his cat. We slowly glance down at the cat. "What? Never seen a Cat before? Where do you two live, under a rock?" The Cat asks…
"The..." I mutter.
"Cat..." Geiz mutters.
"TALKS~!?" Geiz and I exclaim in complete shock.
"Sheesh, no need to yell. We are right here..." The Cat said, before it lifts it's left leg up and licks itself.
"I should probably introduce myself. I am Tenkuji Takeru and this is my cat Yurusen." Takeru-san introduces himself. His cat's name is Yurusen?
"That's lord Yurusen to you!" Yurusen exclaims.
"Huh… So he's just being a Cat." I said, Geiz looks at me confused. But Takeru nods.
"Yeah, that's it. Yurusen is just being what he is. A cat." Takeru said with a smile and a chuckle. "Ah… But to answer your question from before. I know you because someone here knows you and wants to see you." Takeru said. Geiz and I look at each other, Takeru-san gestures us to come to the temple. We walk up to the temple. I take off my shoes and step on the wood, Geiz takes his first step with his shoes on. I quickly explain to Geiz the culture of taking off his shoes. After that, Geiz and I walk around the temple as Takeru-san brings us to a Guest room. "She's inside. I had to lend her some clothes though." Takeru-san said, opening the door. In the room, sitting in bed with bandages covering her is…
"Director?" Geiz and I mutter. The Director is dressed in a kimono lended to her, with a pair of torn and dirtied clothes sitting next to her bed, along with a broken watch transformation device, and a blue ride watch. She has shorter hair than I remember, with one eye covered by bandages, visually older but only by 10 years she still looks relatively the same..
"G-Geiz is… Is this who I think it is?" I ask.
"It has to be… It's my Director." Geiz mutters in disbelief, the Director looks over at us.
"Hello Geiz… You as well Sougo." Director greets with a tired and kinda withered voice. "Come… I wish to speak with you two." Director gestures us in, the two of us slowly enter the room. "Thank you Mr. Takeru." Director thanks, Takeru nods, Yurusen walks past and over to the Director's lap. "Oh… Hm… Fufu. You are quite the demanding one Yurusen." Director said smile as she pets Yurusen.
"You give way better pets than Takeru." Yurusen said purring. Takeru just sighs and shakes his head. Geiz and I sit down next to the Director's bed. I'm sitting on my knees, and Geiz on his butt.
"How… Are you even alive, Director?" Geiz asks, Director looks at us.
"Yes… Geiz have you explained to this Sougo, our situation before you came here?" Director asks Geiz, he nods. "Good, thank you. Well, after you and Tsukuyomi went into the team stream. I took another Time Mazine, but I took a bad hit before I escaped. I had to jump to random coordinates. A place familiar to you two." Director said, her words snap into place in my head. Geiz and I looked at each other, and we had come to the same conclusion. France, in the fight where Mash left Marie and Amadeus. "As you have guessed, I arrived in france. I knew that you would face off against an Alter, as well as a Ghost Alter. So I came here while sending Data to this location." Director explains. "But when I arrived, my wounds caused me to collapse. I've been healing up here ever since." Director said, petting Yurusen.
"That's the thing though." Takeru-san said walking over and sitting down. "You have been here a week, but you have barely recovered." Takeru-san said, looking at us.
"Well, it has only been a week." Geiz said, Takeru-san shakes his head side to side.
"Normally I'd agree, but her wounds have remained. It's like her body can't properly recover correctly." Takeru said, looking at the Director. "It's like her body is slowed, like it only barely ages." Takeru said. Hmm, slowed...
"Now that you mention it, when I saw the Director of this universe, she only looked only a decade younger… Is this something that Oma Zi-O did to you in the past, Director?" Geiz asks. Past… I look at the Alternate Director… Having her on our side would be another diturent from me becoming an Overlord. Besides, I'm curious about my other self, so I need to heal her. All I need to do is reverse time! I stand up.
"Maybe we can change that Director!" I said, I put out my hand and focus. I'm not sure how to do this exactly… Maybe I need to think about turning this Director's body clock, Backwards. "Here we go..." I mutter as I feel something well up inside me.
"Wha- No! Sougo do-" Director exclaims, as I feel a massive feeling of pain shoot through my arm as a headache causes me to fall to my knees. "Sigh~ As I thought, you haven't trained your body to handle time manipulation." Director explains, Geiz and Takeru check to see if I'm okay.
"Wh-Why tho? Ow… I was able to use it before now." I said, recovering form a massive headache and arm pain. I take a deep breath, as I sit up. "Wh-Whoa… I feel a bit tired now too..." I muttered. It slowly fades as I look back up at the Director.
"You accessed these powers when the Grand Order began right?" Director asks, I nod. "Hmm, and only now are you feeling backlash? Odd, but that's not important right now. How are you feeling?" Director asks me. She's oddly a lot more motherish in 50 years…
"My hand hurts, a skull cracking headache, and… I guess I feel tired all of a sudden." I listed off, taking another long breath.
"Yes, I figured. In the world of Magecraft, there are people who can manipulate time. It's been noted that when using it, the user becomes very tired after it's usage. So your body needs to be in absolute prime shape to use time manipulation extensively." Director explains. I look at my hand. Wait, so I'm not the only one to use time manipulation…
"I suddenly feel a lot less special..." I said aloud.
"Don't, because even Magecraft manipulation of time is said to be extremely rare. Even the mage who manipulated time was only able to do so with much training and years of Magic experience." Director said, looking down at Yurusen. "Yet you can access it. Without any kind of training." Director said. "But a power like yours is dangerous if left without some kind of limit. That's what I hoped Geiz and Tsukuyomi would be for you." Director said… Wait…
"Did that involve Geiz trying to kill me?" I ask pointing at Geiz, who's now kind sweating. "Because he tried to kill me when I first met him." I explained. Director looks at Geiz with a 'What have you done?' kinda look. Director opens her mouth only to begin coughing.
"Director!" Geiz and I exclaim. Director looks at her hand to see blood on it.
"Hmm…" Director mutters.
"A-Are you going to be okay?" I ask.
"That's not important now… *Cough* My time is almost up. But you two need to go back. To 2015 in this timeline." Director said as she grabbed something on her right. "I have explained the situation to Takeru-san already… So we were able to prepare these." Director said as she picked up a small tray and set it before us. 3 Ride Watch's sit on the tray.
One ride watch has an orange face and black body, with the Ghost symbol on the top of the watch and the date 2015. When turned, it makes Ghosts face.
A second watch has a blue watch face and a black body, with the Ghost symbol on the top, with the bottom having the date 2015. When turned, it makes Specter's face.
The third watch has a green watch face and black body, with Ghost symbol on the top, with the bottom having 2015. When turned, it makes Necrom's face.
"Hold on… Just like that?" I asked the Director. I reach down picking up one of the watches and looking at it. "Wait..." I look at Takeru-san who looks at me and smiles. "So… You're Ghost." I muttered.
"Heh, guilty as charged." Takeru said. Wow… I look at Geiz to see his reaction and he's… Quivering in his seat. "A-Are you okay Geiz-san?" Takeru asks. "If you're curious, I may be called Ghost, but I am alive." Takeru clarifies, which seems to calm Geiz down.
"Oh, Geiz. You have always been scared of Ghosts and Spirits." Director said, I snicker when I remember Geiz 'reaction to Alter Ghost's first appearance.
"Oh yeah, very scared." I said, Geiz slaps me on the shoulder as I chuckle.
"Well, despite the rough introduction. I'm glad to see you two getting along… But you two listen up." Director said in a serious tone. The two of us get serious again, as we listen to the director. "You two are to go back to 2015 and assist the Ghost of the past. Then defeat Ghost Alter." Director explains. "When you go, take Mash and Charlotte with you two." Director orders, then looks at her driver and watches. "But, I want to talk to your universe's version of me. Once you acquire the wish from the Great Eye, call us. Understood?" Director orders, we nod as we take the watches and leave the room.
We are Observer
Takeru watches the two leave, Yurusen climbs off Olga and over to Takeru. "Is this really for the best?" Takeru asks Olga. Olga looks out the door to silently watch the nature outside.
"You of all people should know… . Nothing lasts forever." Olga said looking at her hand, it's withering away. "My body is reaching its limits… But before I can be at peace." Olga said pushing her blanket off her. She slowly stands up, grabbing her driver and Watch. "There is one last thing I must do." Olga said, putting on a determined face.
We are Sougo
Geiz and I arrive at the bottom of steps to the temple. Waiting for us, are the ladies. "There you two are. We were just about to go up." Director said.
"Yeah, we know where to go now." I said, I reached into my pocket and I take out the Specter Ride Watch. Geiz also takes out the Ghost and Necrom Ride Watch and shows it to the others. "We need to go back to 2015. We can find Ghost Alter there." I explain.
"Excellent, then we need to know where we are to go." Director said, she turns to get into the Time Mazine. "Shall we get going then?" Director asks, I look at Geiz and he nods.
"Director, we have this. There is someone that you need to meet." I said pointing up to the temple. "We'll go to the past and handle the problem." I assured him, the Director gave us a puzzled look.
"What do you mean? Geiz, give me a straight answer here." Director asks, Geiz looks at me and nods.
"I agree with Zi-O on this. You need to go see this though personally." Geiz said, as the two of us walk past the Director and over to the Mazine. "We'll take Assassin and Shielder to the past. You need to meet with the lady in the temple." Geiz said, opening the Time Mazine's hatch and walking in with Assassin.
"No time to waste Mash. Let's go." I said as I rushed to my Time Mazine.
"R-Right, Senpai! We'll be off then!" Mash said, bowing to the Director as she rushes into my Mazine. Director tries to say something, but the hatch closes before she can get a word off. We set the coordinates and fly into the past.
We are Olga
The 4 fly into the portal, as I'm left at the bottom of the steps to the temple. My mouth still left open as to what I was going to say, now gone unanswered. I take a few seconds to process then collect myself. "You'd think with Mages being cryptic all the time, you'd be used to dealing with cryptic word play or a general lack of information." I mutter to myself. I turn to the temple steps and look up at the top of the steps. "Someone who wants to see me? Here?" I mutter as I take the first step up.
I'm all alone… Alone to my thoughts… My conscience. Not bothered by the thoughts of the Singularity, or the threat of death… Altho I guess that possibility is still there… 24 hours…
I turn my gaze backwards, to look at the sprawling city out before me. I hear the distance of people going about their day.
Seeing this… Makes me realise how far away the Grand Order feels… What's stopping us- Me, from just enjoying today… This is the last day of my life… Though I wasn't given that chance before.
I turn back and walk up the steps.
Why do I keep walking? Is it a sense of responsibility? I suppose that part of me has been there since my father passed… Or… Maybe it's… Guilt? Father did some… actions that I can't bring myself to remember… Why am I doing? Is a better question, why am I mage? Why am I the Director? Why am I alive? Why am I standing here? Why? Why? Wh-
"Whoa, someone is having a major internal monologue." I hear as I snap out of my thoughts. I look up then around to see that I am at the Temple. I look straight to see a man with his cat.
"Oh, sorry… just had something on my mind." I said, then I bowed. That's what Japanese people greet, right? "So um… Are you the one who I was told to meet? Mr… Uh..." I ask.
"Takeru and my cat Yurusen." Takeru introduces.
"Wow, it's as that Geiz guy said. You do look a decade younger." Yurusen said… Wait… What?
"Oh, Great. A talking cat… Yeah sure, why not at this point? Transforming trains, dragons in france, fruit Riders, and now a cat." I muttered. W-Wait, did the cat say, "decade younger?"
"Come, we shouldn't leave her waiting any longer." Takeru said, gesturing to me to come inside. I follow Takeru inside. I wonder how the others are doing now?
We are Sougo… 2015...
We landed our vehicles and exit out of the Mazine. "So, hey. Here's a thought." Mash said as we came together. "How can we see the Gamma and Phantoms? We can't see them right?" Mash notes looking around at us. "Now are we supposed to see Ghost and the other Riders?" Mash wonders.
"We-" I begin to say when the Comm to Chaldea opens.
"Well I'm glad you asked Mashu!" Da Vinci exclaims on the other side. "I was thinking the exact same thing!" Da Vinci said while walking back into the command Center. You know with that intro, I think she was waiting for the right moment to pop in. "With that little discovery that people in that universe can see things the normal eyes can't. I've made a series of special glasses that act like Mystic Eyes. It simulates the same sights that most people in their world do." Da Vinci explains, a few seconds past and Charlotte appears with a small case.
"Oh, that's where you were." Geiz said looking at Charlotte.
"My apologies Master, I was asked by Miss Da Vinci to bring you these." Charlotte said, as she opened the case. A series of 4 glasses, Mash picks up one that's similar to her casual glasses. I grab the bold framed Glasses, Charlotte grabs heart glasses, and Geiz puts on the round glasses. "Oh my! It's like a whole new world with these on!" Charlotte exclaims.
"No kidding..." I muttered. Seeing all kinds of different creatures from fantasy and fiction intertwined together into the world around us. You'd think being in a Singularity and seeing all that it has to offer would prepare you to see something like this. But this is amazing… That's when a hand shakes my shoulder.
"Focus, everyone. We have a job, come on." Geiz said, walking away.
We are Olga… 2018…
I stand before the door to the Room, Mr. Takeru has brought me too. "The one who wants to meet you is on the other side." Takeru said, he and Yurusen walked away. I open the door… I see… Me.
"Hello… Me." Future Me said? Future Me is the best I can describe it as.
Older me is the same height, but looks visibly older. Shorter hair, a white bandage over her right eye. Dressed in an old and torn Chaldea combat outfit Mystic Code. It has darkened over years of combat, scratches, armor placed on the combat Mystic Code. On her left wrist is a battered and damaged Tokei Driver. In her right hand is a blue Ride Watch.
"Like looking into the mirror huh?" Future me said with a tired voice, she turns to me and walks over to me. I take a step back from her as I come close, I can't speak. "Yeah, of course you would be surprised. You are me after all." Future me said.
"Wh-A-Are you… Echo?" I ask.
"I guess that's the best way to differentiate each other. Then, call me Echo Olga." Echo said looking at me.
"Wh-Why do you want to meet me?" I ask, a cold feeling slides into my hand. I look down at my hand to see it's shaking.
"And there it is. The Olga shiver." Echo said walking over to me. She reaches out, I pull my hand back. But, Echo grabs my hand and brings it close. Cold… Her hand is so… Cold. "I know this is a lot to take but you need to calm down." Echo said, as she reached into her pocket and took out a dried piece of Strawberry. "Here." Echo said, handing me the fruit.
"Umm… Th-Thanks?" I said, as I take the fruit and eat it. I reach into my own pocket, seeing that I forgot to stock my own… Great, I forgot to pack my own… Echo takes out another piece of fruit and the two of us silently take a seat on the side building looking out into the garden… It's so peaceful… But… I can't help but think of all I have experienced. "Sougo… Is going to destroy the world?..." I muttered to myself.
"So, you still can't believe it huh?" Echo said looking up at the sky. "Yeah, I don't blame you… But you need to process that faster, or else Earth will be destroyed." Echo said she looked at me and then at her Tokei Driver. "With Oma adding more obstacles, Sougo and Geiz need help if they are going to survive." Echo looked at me and pointed at the Tokei Driver in my arm. "You need to turn into a Kamen Rider yourself." Echo said.
"What?... No, I can't. I tried. I failed." I said looking at the ground.
"Sigh~... I had forgotten how sad I used to be." Echo muttered, I looked then at her, as I see a fist hit me. I drop onto the grass, I look at Echo. Ow?!... Wha- "You can't stand here and give up like this." Echo said, as she pushes herself up to her feet. Then she walks to the center of the grass, readying her watch, turning the watch face and activating the watch.
"Echo!" The Watch exclaimed. Echo puts the watch into the driver, as Roman Numeral Clock appears behind Echo. Echo tilts the Driver, then brings her arms around clockwise. Bringing her arms close, she puts her hand on the watch.
"Henshin." Echo said, turning the belt while bringing the driver to face up at 12 o'clock.
"Rider Time!" Watch strap rings appear and slide from the right over Echo. "Kamen Rider! Echo~!" Multiple rings pass over Echo, each time adding more and more to the armor until it's completed. Red Kanji attaches to the helmet to complete the armor.
Kamen Rider Echo's color scheme is black for the under suit, with black, white, and yellow comprising the armor's colors. The helmet has a watch strap on the back of the head, that stops at the top of the head. From there a white forehead with the Kamen Symbol on it, below that is a black visior with the red Kanji on it. A white mouth piece, with two yellow triangles just below the eyes. Around the neck is a blue collar. The chest has a Watch strap down the front and back at it's center, the sides of the chest are blue with yellow outlines and white blocks that connect to the shoulders. The shoulders are half domed that's squared at the shoulder connection. A vertical yellow line though the center. On the right shoulder is a shield with the name Echo on the side. The arms are mostly black, say for the gauntlets which are blue with yellow for the fingers. On the right arm is the single watch holder with white straps. At the waist is white belt over the black under suit. The legs are black with blue thigh armor, silver knee guards, blue leg armor.
"I know you. And I know you won't do anything, unless you're back is up against a wall." Echo said walking towards me. I back up across the grass, Echo sends out a Phantom that picks me up and pulls me up to my feet and pushes me against the wall. "Come on, use the Driver." Echo said as she walked towards me.
"W-Wait! Y-You don't have to do this! You- You can go to my place!... You're better at this then I am." I said, immediately as I do, Echo slaps me across my face.
"How long are you going to cling to others to bail you out?!" Echo shouts, she walks over and grabs me by the collar. "You won't have someone to watch your back, if you can't stand up for yourself!" Echo shouts. "You can do so much! You just need to take that first step." Echo said, I look at her. Even behind the helmet I could tell she's serious.
"Wh-What am I supposed to do then?..." I ask, Echo brings me close.
"Fight back." Echo said, she reaches out into the pocket and takes out the Chaldea Ride Watch. Echo takes my hand and puts the Ride Watch into my hands. "Please… You need to fight." Echo said to me.
"Why… Why are you so instant that I have to fight?!" I exclaim looking at Echo straight in the eyes.
"To prevent you from making the same mistakes as me." Echo said, "You… *Cough!* *Cough!*" Echo backs away from me, then drops to her knees. "I… Don't have much time. You can help change the future… For the be-" Echo starts to cough violently as I run over to check on her… She's able to put her life on the line to save the future… To save everyone… I don't have that kind of determination… Maybe… This is why I am here… Ground Team, you'd better get to the Great Eye fast!
We are Sougo… Hosea Academy...
"Okay, from what I could gather. The Ghost of this Universe used to come to this Academy at this time. So it's your best bet to find Ghost." Tsukuyomi informs us as we approach.
"I've already sent Assassin in to scout the area." Geiz said, he glances down at his clothes. "By the way… Do we really have to dress like this?" Geiz asks, as me, Mash, and Geiz are now all dressed in Hosea Academy Summer Uniforms.
"Well, yeah. We would blend in better to the student body if we did." I explained, I pointed to the entrance to see a mass of students walking into the school. "If we join the crowd now, no one will notice us entering." I said giving a thumbs up to Geiz.
"I guess..." Geiz said.
"Altho, I'm not sure if all of us will get in." I said, stopping to look at Geiz. "Dude… Why the hell are you still wearing the Harness?" I ask looking at Geiz. His normal outfit's harness is placed over his uniform.
"What? I want to be tactical." Geiz said… Boy.
"Bruh… There isn't a need to be so tactical… We're going into a School. There's nothing there trying to kill us!" I exclaim, Geiz simply crosses arms and scoffs. This dude… "Sigh~ Mash help me out-" I stop myself as Geiz and I watch as Mash looks at herself in the mirror admiring herself… "Uhh… Mash?" I ask, Mash jolts and turns back to us blushing.
"Ah! S-Sorry Senpai! I just..." Mash said, twiddling her thumbs together. "I've never been in this kind of School Uniform before. This is my first time." She said smiling at me. That's a nice smile…
"Yeah Mash, that Uniform looks really cute on you. Now if I could be there, I'd add my own touch to it." Tsukuyomi said.
"Oh, what? Would you have added your cape if you were in the uniform?" I asked, Tsukuyomi silently turned her head to the right… Bruh… "Okay, I get that you two like the Harness and Cape, but you don't need to add it to everything!" I exclaim, the two remain silent. "Oh my fuking god~" I said as I sighed. "Will you two just admit you-" Suddenly a dust tornado forms in the courtyard of the school. Everyone turns their attention to the blast. "Save this for a later date?" I suggested.
"Agreed." Everyone else said in unison. We all start running into the school. As we arrive, we see a team of 8 battling what looks like a large umbrella creature. One of them being a Younger Takeru.
"I assume that's some kind of Phantom." Geiz said looking at the umbrella.
"Whoa… No way… A Kasa Obake." I said looking at the Umbrella.
"What is that Senpai?" Mash asks me.
"It's a type of Ghost." I said, as I said that I can see Geiz begin to shake. "It's said that these Yokai appear when an old Umbrella goes unused for years. They develop a soul and like this Phantom, it has a single eye, long tongue, and one foot." I said pointing at the Phantom.
"D-Don't te-Tell me that tongue is dangerous or something?" Geiz said, his voice shaking.
"No… Despite the long nature of the Tongue itself, it's not harmful. It's just a tongue. Long for sure, but not dangerous. In Fact I doubt this is any different. These Youkai just like messing around with people. It's no danger." I said, Geiz's shoulders begin to relax. We watch what's going on. Yeah, they're just trying to get the Kasa Obake under control. "I don't think we need to worry about this." I said as we walked into the academy grounds. People pass by like it's nothing.
"Assassin will keep tabs for us on the roof." Geiz said pointing to the roof. Mash and I look up to see Charlotte watching from above, she waves to us. I wave back.
"How come I didn't notice her?" I asked looking up.
"That must be her Presence concealment." Geiz said. "Only I or someone with the right skill can notice Assassin." Geiz explains, I nod, I notice that Charlotte sees something. We look over at the direction of Charlotte's gaze. No way… "Saver?" Geiz mutters, Mash looks over and nods.
"Yes, that looks to be Saver in his normal form." Mash notes looking at Saver. He glances at us and smirks. Saver reaches for a blade gun holstered on his belt, and points it at Takeru. "*Gasp!* He's aiming-" Mash begins. I step out with my belt, with Geiz having the same idea.
"Oh, no!" I started running at Takeru. No… I won't make it in time! I need to get to Takeru before Saver shoots!... I glance at my hand, then straight ahead. This is going to hurt! But I need time to be on my side! I can begin to feel energy well up in my body. I need to go fast! I focus my mind on speeding up, but I suddenly find myself speeding towards Takeru. "Wha- Look out!" I shout as I slam into Takeru knocking us both to the ground. Just as we tumble across the ground, I hear a shot go over my head. I glance up at the sky, I'm out of breath, but I pull myself up to my feet. "A-Are you okay?" I asked Takeru.
"Y-Yeah… Who-" Takeru begins but Saver walks towards us.
"Ah, King. Of course you would be here." Saver said, approaching.
"Yeah… Well… Nice to see you too… Saver" I said catching my breath. "What's the plan here?" I asked.
"Direct, I like that. Well, just as I assume you are. I'm here for the Great Eye." Saver explains, as he takes out a series of locks. "And Killing you is also a prime reason." Saver said as he opened the locks and tossed them into the air. Zippers in the sky open as monsters drop out of them. "So, there's that." Saver said as he took out his belt and strapped it on his waist. "Shall we?" Saver asks, taking out his Locks. "Henshin." Saver said, opening the locks.
"Zakuro! Blood Orange!" The Locks exclaim, as they put into the belt, then locking them on. "Lock on!" Saver brings down the Knife. "Ha! Blood Zakuro Arms! Kuruizaki sacrifice! Ha! Blood Orange Arms! Shadow Michi on Stage!" The armor materialises onto Saver.
"Oh, great…" I said taking out my own belt and I strap it on, as I take out my Ride Watch. That's when a hand is brought up in front of me.
"That was reckless of you." Geiz said, putting on his belt. "So, try not to do anything stupid." Geiz said readying his watch. "Assassin, come. We have our target." Geiz said, as Assassin appears right next to Geiz in her usual attire.
"Yeah… That's fair, Mash. Let's do this!" I exclaimed, entering my transformation pose.
"Right, Senpai!" Mash exclaims, as she armor ups in a flash. Everyone audible gasps at our arrival. Oh the party's just getting started! Geiz and I turn the watch face and insert it into our belts. Tilting the belt, we enter our pose as we shout.
"Henshin!" In sync as we spin or belts.
"Rider Time!" The Belt Exclaims. "Kamen Rider~ Zi-O!" "Kamen Rider! Geiz!" The armor materialises on us, as the clock launches the Kanji out. The Kanji attach to our visors completing the armor. We take out our weapons as we charge in with our Servants.
We are Takeru
The four charged at the creatures, Haruhiko and Reina, put out their hands to help me up. "Are you okay Takeru-san?" Reina asks me.
"Yeah, if he hadn't slammed into me, I might have been shot." I said looking over at the fight that's happening. I still have no idea what's going on. I look at the team and I can see the feeling is shared among everyone.
"Talk about coming out of left field. Who are these guys?" Makoto Nii-chan asks me, walking up to check on me. "You okay?" He asks, I nod. Makoto looks over at the new Riders. "Though color me surprised that there are now Time Riders? Can I guess that?" Makoto asks.
"It's pretty clear that they are based on time." Alan said coming over. "First this Umbrella Phantom now these… Other World monsters and Time Riders." Alan summerises. We look at the fight, seeing the Zi-O Rider having a hard time. "Looks like they're having a hard time." Alan said, I stood up, reached into my pocket and took out my Ore Eyecon.
"Well, let's help them out then." I said, looking at everyone. Everyone nods in agreement.
"Not sure we will be much help." Reina said looking at the monsters.
"Hey, we can still help out." Mai said, patting Reina on the shoulder.
"I'll draw their attention. You three can transform and jump in." Koito said, walking over.
"Good idea, you, Makoto, and Reina-san should get those monsters' attention away from Zi-O. Then Me, Mai-senpai, Kurumi-chan, Takeru-san, and Alan-san will distract that Saver guy, Takeru, Makoto, Alan. You guys can transform and jump in." Haruhiko said, everyone nods in agreement. "Okay. Let's do this." Haruhiko said as everyone broke off to do their task.
"Okay, let's go everyone." I said, looking at Makoto and Alan. They both nod as we take out our Eyecons and materialise our drivers. I activate my Eyecon and insert it into my driver.
"Eye! Batchiriminā! Batchiriminā!" The Ore parka flies out of the belt and around me. I enter my transformation Pose. Makoto activates his Eyecon and drops it into his belt, before closing the belt.
"Eye! Batchirimiro! Batchirimiro!" The Specter parka flies out of the belt and around Makoto. Makoto clenches his fist. Alan activates his Eyecon.
"Standby!" Alan inserts the Eyecon into the watch, before pressing the button on the side. "Yes Sir! Loading!" Alan brings up the Dropper as the Necrom parker flies around him.
"Henshin!" We all exclaim at once, as Makoto and I pull back the trigger and push it back in. Alan activates the dropper as it drops an eye drop.
"Kaigan!" The Ghost driver exclaims. "Tengan!" The Mega Ulorder exclaims. Our suits appear on us, as the parka drops onto us. Finally the Persona masks flip up into position. "Ore! Let's go! Kakugo! Go-Go-Go-Ghost! Go! Go! Go!" "Specter! Ready Go! Kakugo! Doki-Doki, Ghost!" "Tengaim! Necrom! Mega Ulord! Crush Invader~!" The transformation is completed.
"Let's go!" I exclaim. We all charge into the fray.
Kamen Rider Ghost has a color pallet of black, orange, and silver. The helmet is mostly a black with the face having an orange mask with two large black eyes, silver outlining on the mast, and a horn on the head. The main body is black with orange markings on the body armor, while on the center of the chest is an orange eye. At the waist is a belt in the design of a ghost face, with an orange eyecon. Silver bands and knee armor on the ankle, knees, and wrists. Over the chest is a black parka with orange outlining.
Kamen Rider Specter has a similar look and color pallet to Ghost, except for the blue, and yellow. The helmet has a more aggressive look, with two horns on the head. The parka has blue outlines instead of orange. The outlines on the suit are blue, with a yellow eye on the chest. The belt is no different than say for the Eyecon. The wrist bands and knee guards are now blue too.
Kamen Rider Necrom has a color pallet of black, green, and silver. The helmet is mostly white, with a silver mouth guard, with a black mask, with a silver rimmed green lense with a horn. The body suit is white with a black exterior and green markings on the armor, the chest is different with a black eye, green on the ribs and armpits and a plain belt with a silver stopper. The bands on the arms, legs, and the knee armor are different with their being a badge, with a green ring in it's center. The Parka is black with green outlines and holes on the parka.
We are Sougo
I push back a creature, only to be knocked down by another. I… That slowdown really took everything out of me. I push myself up into a sitting position.
"Well well..." Saver said looking over at me. "Target Acquired." Saver said as he took a lock off his belt and onto his bow.
"Lock on!" Saver pulls back the string as energy charges up. Aiming the arrow at me. Oh crap. "Blood Charge!" The arrow flies at me, I brace for the impact of the arrow. When a large shadow comes over me instead followed with a loud blast… Huh?
"Senpai!? Are you okay?" Mash said looking at me. I nod as I stand up to try and get back into the fight. "Senpai! You should stay down, you look like you could collapse at any time." Mash advises me as she helps me up to my feet. "Just stay back for now." Mash warns me, I take a breath… then nod.
"Okay, I'll do that." I said backing up.
"Get out of the way!" I hear behind me. I turn around to see one of the monsters jumping at me, I roll to the side, as I look over at the voice. "Break, break, break, break into the tune of creation." She chants. As the creature again charges at me. "Tune, tune, tune, tune, shine the light of fortune! Ah~!" A barrier appears before me, blocking the creatures. I reach down to my blade and press the crown.
"Time Charge! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Zero Time!" The barrier drops at Zero as I swing my blade causing the monster to be launched into the air and explode, I fall onto the ground…
"Are you okay?!" I hear as another girl comes over to check me.
"Uh… Yeah, thanks for the save. Also, Hi! My name is Tokiwa Sougo." I introduced myself.
"Ah, nice to meet you Tokiwa-san. I am Izumi Reina, it's nice to meet you." Izumi introduces herself.
"Minase Koito." Minase introduces herself.
Reina is a short teenage girl with a petite frame. Her eyes are electric blue. She has long, straight chestnut-brown hair with a few strands of white hair, freely falling down to her waist. She also has two small, yellow round "puffs" on the left side of her head. Reina is usually seen with a normal Hosea Academy school uniform for freshman girls.
Koito is a teenage girl with an average build and height who has the appearance of a cool beauty. Her short, lower chin-length and wavy hair has the color of magenta-pinkish, which she wears in side-bangs that frame her face, and she sports a yellow star-hair clip on the left side of her hair. Her eye color matches her hair color, and she also doesn't have a second white highlight in her eyes unlike the other characters, which gives the impression that she is aloof and quiet. She is also almost always seen wearing her headphones around her neck. She is usually seen with a normal Hosea Academy school uniform for 1st year female students.
"Nice to meet you both." I said standing up.
"Hmf. I'm not out of locks yet!" Saver said, throwing more locks at us, as more monsters appeared. Here they come. I point my gun, when a hand reaches out and pushes it aside.
"Leave it to me." Specter said stepping forwards. "Koito-san, give me cover. I'll weaken them, then trap them for you to eat Reina-san." Specter said taking out an eye device. W-Wait… Did he just say eat? "Nobunaga." Specter said activating the eye device. Nobunaga?! Specter opens his belt and replaces the eye inside with the Nobunaga eye device, then closes the belt as his parka disappears.
"Eye~! Batchirimiro!" Specter pulls back the handle and pushes it back in. "Kaigan! Nobunaga! Ware-no Ikizama! Oke Hazama!" A purple parka with a samurai motif attaches onto Specter, as a rifle materializes out of the belt. "Gan Gun Hand!" The weapon announces. What?... Oh, I guess it is a hand. Specter pushes the rifles pump handle forwards as the hand clenches with a barrel appearing. Specter puts the eye of the rifle up to his belt. "Dai Kaigan! Gan Gan Miro!" Specter aims his rifle as a firing line of astral rifles appear behind him. The monster's approach, I aim my gun to cover when Koito-san jumps in.
"Break, break, break, break into the tune of creation. Tune, tune, tune, tune, control the key. Ahhh~" Koito shouts as energy wraps around the monsters, locking them in place. "You're free! Go for it!" Koito said moving out of the way.
"Hmf… Thanks." Specter said aiming his rifle, then pulling the trigger.
"Omega Spark!" All the rifles open fire blasting the monsters as some of them explode. The ones that survive are weak. Specter then switches out the eye device for another. "Eye~! Batchirimiro!" Specter activates the belt. "Kaigan! Tutankhamun! Pyramid-wa Sankaku! Ohke-no Shikaku~!" A blue sleeveless parka with an eygeptan motif attaches onto Specter. A snake phone slithers up the rifle, Specter unclenches the gun's hand then clenches the hand again, when the snake phone attaches forming a scythe. Cool! "Dai Kaigan! Gan Gan Miro! Omega Fang!" Specter swings the scythe, as a pyramid with an eye flies out, the eye opens as the surviving monsters are all sucked in.
"Reina-chan!" Specter said as he jumped back. Reina-san walks over opening her mouth and taking in a deep breath. Suddenly a massive wind began sucking the pyramid in. The pyramid is sucked into Reina-san's mouth as she swallows the pyramid.
"Those creatures were tasty… They tasted like a Fruit Salad!" Reina said with a smile. Note to self: Lock monsters taste like fruit. But more importantly...
"She… Really did eat the creatures…" I said awe struck. "Almost as if she was like Kirby..." I muttered.
"Who's Kirby?" Specter asks me. Ah… I wave my hand.
"D-Don't mind me! How are the others doing?" I said looking over. "Who are the guys going to help out Mash and Geiz?" I asked.
"That's Mai-Senpai, Haruhiko, Kurumi-chan, Takeru, and Alan." Specter introduces.
Haruhiko is a teenager with an average build and height, noted to be handsome by people around him. He has short, messy and somewhat thick dark green hair, along with a piece of hair pointing up. He has blue eyes, and is usually seen with a normal Hosea Academy school uniform for boys.
Mai is a beautiful girl with blonde hair and large breasts. She stands at a relatively tall height with a voluptuous body. She has long and straight sandy blonde hair with a pink tint at the tips which is usually tied into a side ponytail using a big blue ribbon. She has free-hanging bangs that frame her face, along with beauty marks under each of her purple eyes. She sometimes wears her hair loose to which it reaches down to her lower-back. Mai wears a Hosea Academy school uniform for 2nd year female students, boasting a yellow shirt, a white mini-skirt with black and green trimmings, black and white knee-high socks, along with white and pink shoes.
Kurumi is a young girl with straight, mid-length light purple hair, reaching down to about her shoulders, which she has tied into a high twin-tail with pink ribbons on each side. She has light brown eyes and a fair and light complexion. Kurumi is usually seen with a teddy bear called "Albrecht" by her side, and she is often depicted in her school uniform.
"Of the five elements, the power of fire melts metal." Mai said as she clenched her chest. "I summon the fire phase from my heart to my fists." Mai changs as a ring of flame appears around her. "Let us do battle, one against a thousand!" Mai said as she swung her right leg around the circle as the fire collected around her leg. Mai launches at Saver, Saver brings up his weapons to block as Mai begins sending a quick barrage of flaming kicks.
"Tch! What a damn nuisance!" Savoir said as he took out another lock. Opening the lock he tosses it at Mai. The lock glows then explodes sending Mai-san flying back.
"Mai-senpai!" Haruhiko shouts, then Haruhiko brings up his bag. "Jachin and Boaz!" A sketch book floats out of the case as energy begins vortexing into the book. "Admonition then, admonition now, admonition henceforth. Let the Lord admonish you!" Haru chants as the book opens to a picture of a demon dog. "Open, open… Open, the gates of Hell. Invoke, Marchosias!" Haru exclaims as he dips his finger into a small jar of red paint then presses it on a mark on the corner of the page. Flames burst out of the book as a small winged dog appears. What? "Go Marchosias!" Haru exclaims as the dog flies in to distract.
"Get...Tch." Saver grunts as he takes out more locks than tossing them at Mai-san, Kurumi-san, and Mash.
"Get back! They're going to blow!" Geiz shouts. They won't make it! Unless… Ah!
"Mash! Put your shield on top of the explosives and weigh the shield down with your body!" I order. Mash tosse her shield on the explovies then puts her body on top. The explosives go off only for the ground to shake a little.
"Ah… It-It worked Senpai!" Mash exclaims. I give a thumbs up, Mash picks up her shield then walks over to Mai-san and puts out her hand to help her up. "Are you two okay?" Mash asks.
"Y-Yeah, thanks for the save." Mai thanks, Haruhiko walks over and hoists Mai's arm over his shoulder. "Thanks." Mai thanks again.
"Time to go on the attack." Geiz said moving in while shooting at Saver. Saver blocks the shots, only for Geiz to charge in. Saver swings at Geiz, to which Geiz dodges by jumping under the blade. Rolling on the ground, Geiz turns back to Saver shooting him in the back.
"Allan! Let's go!" Ghost shouts running in with Necrom next to him.
"Right, Takeru!" Necrom said as Ghost and him charge in close and upper cut. The two then activate their finishers.
"Dai Kaigan! Ore! Omega Drive!" "Destroy! Dai-Tengain! Necrom! Omega Ulord!" Ghost and Necrom jump into the air and drop kick Saver to the ground. Geiz looks at me.
"Zi-O toss me the Build Ride watch!" Geiz orders putting out his hand. Why- you know what? No reason to say no. Reaching down to my watch holders, I take off Build and wave it in the air.
"Here you go! Catch!" I shout tossing the Ride watch to him. Geiz catches the watch turning the watch face activating it, then inserting it into his belt and spinning it 360. The Build Armor appears behind him and attaches on.
"Best Match! Build!" The armor attaches onto Geiz as he charges at Saver. Geiz sends a flurry of attacks at Savoir pushing him back. Hey… Where's Assassin? As I wander, while Geiz begins chanting out.
"Assassin, by my command seal I order you. Release you're Noble Phantasm!" Geiz orders, as he slams the armor's drill into the ground. The impact causes rubble to blast up from the ground, making Savoir jump back. Savoir looks behind him, as Assassin appears behind him and thrusts her blade though his back.
"Guah!" Savoir gunts.
"I can't move the world, but the world won't slow me down. Pray, forgive me. Please accompany me in this innocent Murder. La Rêve Ensoleillée." Charlotte chanted, before pulling the knife out of Saver's back. A single splash of blood flies out, splatting some blood on her bright white outfit. Savor collapses onto the ground.
"Argh… Damnit." Saver said as a zipper appears below him. He's gonna escape! I stand up and start running at Saver, I focus on Saver as I hear sounds around me slow down, Saver's movement slows down too. I quickly approach Saver and I jump at him. A sharp pain hits my head as time Resumes, Saver sees my lung and as he drops into the portal he swings his blade slicing across my chest. "Another time… King." Saver said as the zipper closed behind him. I drop to the ground and roll across the ground… My body feels so heavy, so tired, my head aches… My vision goes dark…
Later…
Opening my eyes I sit up looking around the room to see I'm in a School Infirmary. "Senpai?" I hear, I see Mash peek in from behind curtains. "Senpai!" Mash exclaims pushing aside the curtain rushing to my side to check on me. "How do you feel Senpai?" Mash asks me.
"Uhh~ Like I just got hit by Lancelot then had Carmilla heel grind against my head." I said rubbing the sides of my head. "Tired too." I said letting out a long sigh. To which Mash sighs.
"You need to be more careful! Senpai, I- No we were all worried about you when passed out!" Mash said to me with a clear angry face.
"Mash-chan? Is Sougo-Kun okay?" I hear a mature voice said as a woman walks up behind Mash.
"Yes, he's alright Himeno-sensei." Mash said, she turns back around to me. "Senpai, this is Himeno-sensei. She and I watched over you." Mash explains, I looked at Himeno-san.
Himeno-san is a beautiful and youthful young woman with straight upper back-length light brown hair, purple eyes and circular glasses. She wears her Japanese clothes under a white lab coat.
I look around to see it's only Mash and Himeno-san. "Where is Geiz and the others?" I ask.
"Geiz-san and Charlotte-san are with the others explaining our situation." Mash explains, I nod moving to stand up. "Ah~ Please take it easy Senpai." Mash warns me, helping me up to my feet. "Let me help you." Mash said taking an arm and putting it over her shoulder hoisting me up and helping me move around.
"Here, Mash-chan. This should help immensely." Himeno said bring over a wheelchair for me to sit in. Whoa… "Here, let me help you sit him down." Himeno said as she and Mash helped me into the chair, I got comfortable in the chair.
"Hey… Is it weird that I've always wanted to sit in one of these?" I said looking at the chair. "It's just… Something I've always wondered what it was like." I said as I could feel a dumb smile forming on my face.
"No, I don't think it's weird." Mash said with a smile. "Shall we go meet up with everyone else?" Mash asks me, I give a firm nod. Mash takes ahold of the Wheelchair as we set off. We pass through the halls and into a larger room where Geiz is discussing with Takeru-san and the others. "Geiz-san, Senpai has woken up." Mash said, catching Geiz's attention.
"Oh, so Zi-O has- Why are you in a Wheelchair?" Geiz asks, walking over to me. "You're fine enough to walk right?" Geiz asks looking down at me. What's with that look? I wonder as I give a nod. Geiz immediately grabs me and pulls me up to my feet and out of the wheelchair. "Then walk!" Geiz said as I stumbled on my feet.
"Ow, Ow, Ow… Come on Geiz… Give me a break." I said rubbing my arm. He could have pulled with at least a little more softly. "Sheesh… So. How are we?" I ask Geiz.
"Me and Charlotte have been getting everyone up to speed, they have agreed to help us." Geiz said.
"Well, we understand why you need the Eyecons, but there's a problem." Takeru said, looking at me. "It's the fact that the Great Eye is gone, it was destroyed at the end of Gamma's attack." Takeru explains.
"Oh, not a problem. Do you know a date when you summoned the Great Eye?" I asked, Geiz turns to Takeru for the answer. Takeru looks at me with a look of confusion.
"Uh… Huh, that's weird." Takeru said, putting a hand up to his head. "I… Can't remember." Takeru said, thinking really hard.
"Why is it so hard to remember?" Alan wonders, when he, Makoto, and Takeru all begin to glitch. "Wh-What the?!" Alan said looking at himself. The Alter!
"So, not only is this Saver in our way, but also Alter Ghost bars us from the Great Eye." Geiz said as the glitching stopped.
"We need to hurry. Please, a day, month, year, anything to close in on Ghost Alter!" I said. It's then that Haruhiko-san reaches into his back and shuffles through before pulling out his phone. "Haruhiko-san?" I ask looking at him.
"I think I might have something!" Haruhiko said as he scrolled through his phone. "It's something I came upon recently… It's notes about an event I don't remember anything about- Here!" Haruhiko said as he showed us his phone. Geiz and I come over to read what's written.
'May 15th 2015, by request I've written this down for the future. If you are reading this, then this message has yet to be affected. But with this you know when Ghost Alter is. Additionally the Great Eye will be present.'
"This is it! Thanks for the help!" I exclaim looking at Geiz who nods in agreement. "Mash! Let's go!" I said running to the door, Mash running past me. Geiz not too far behind.
"Assassin, we need to move now!" Geiz said, we rushed out into the courtyard and to our Time Mazines. Jumping in, we input the date and time. Activating the Time Mazine we fly off into further into the past.
May 14th 2015… We are Takeru...
The rain pours down hard as Me, Makoto-nii, and Allan walk through the rain.
"Sure it's this way?" Makoto asks Allan, Allan nods looking ahead.
"I'm sure I sense a familiar presence to Takeru's up ahead." Allan said, I look straight ahead.
"Let's hope, this Other Ghost is causing as much trouble as Enigma." I said walking through the rain. Suddenly we hear a crash from up ahead.
"What was that?" I ask aloud.
"Wahh~!? Monster~!" Someone cries out. I look at Makoto and Allan, we all exchange a nod before running towards the cry for help. Turning the corner we see a familiar figure to mine walk away.
"Hey! Hold it right there!" Takeru said, as we all charge at the Figure.
"Come back here! Ah-?" Makoto shouts, but a new figure jumps in the way.
"Who are you? Why are you getting in our way!" Allan said, putting on his wrist driver. The New figure has a belt with fruits on his belt.
"Hmf… I leave the rest to you, Time Rider. No, Kamen Rider Zi-O." The Figure said as a zipper opens up behind him he walks in, and the zipper closes behind him. He's gone...
May 15th 2015… We are Sougo
Arriving at the specific date in time, our team exits our Time Mazines.
"We're here… No time to waste, we need to spread out to find our target." Geiz suggests, our team exchanges a nod.
"I'll take Mash and check around town." I suggest, Geiz nods as he and Assassin head off.
"Assassin, check the school and I'll use the Mazine to watch from the sky." Geiz said as he jumped back in the Mazine flying off.
"Right, let's go." I said to Mash as we headed off.
A few minutes later…
I lay my butt down on a bench in a park underneath a highway road. I let out a sigh, as I lean against a large block pillar.
"Nothing..." I mutter, Mash walks over with two bottles of water.
"Here Senpai." Mash said, handing me a bottle. I take it, open it and take a nice sip.
"Ah~ Much better. This heat really takes it out of you." I said putting down a bottle.
'Yeah, but seeing all these different sights is really nice." Mash said looking all around at the Park. Seeing the children playing in the playground, kids on bikes riding around. The Parents with their children enjoying the peace.
"Yeah, this is nice." I said looking around, I look to my right at the clock when I see something that makes me giggle. "Wh-Pff.." I snickered trying to keep my laughter quote. Mash looks at me confused.
"Senpai? What's so funny?" Mash asks me. I point to a Gorilla statue that's holding a clock and bending it to the side.
"Th-That gorilla kinda reminds me of Geiz when he's angry." I said pointing at the Gorilla statue. Mash looks at the Gorilla with a smile forming on his face.
"Heh, yeah I can kinda see that now." Mash said, holding back her laughter, she then sits down next to me and looks around. "It's so peaceful." Mash said looking around.
"Yup, this is what we are fighting for… Hey, after the Grand Order I'd love to show you around my hometown. It's not too dissimilar from this town." I said remembering my hometown. Not too far off form it too… Wonder if Uncle will like Mash? Oh what am I kidding, he'll be ecstatic about me just having a friend… Wow, hearing that in my head makes me realise how alone I am now. I look at Mash to see a bright smile on her face.
"Really? I'd love to see your town, Senpai!" Mash exclaims. I chuckle scratching the back of my head. The two of us laugh as kids on bikes ride past us, then make a round turn and go for a lap, when a figure knocks one the kids down.
"What the?" I said standing up. I gasp as I see the perpetrator. "
Ghost Alter!" Mash and I said at the same time.
"Won't let anyone get hurt..." Ghost Alter mutters crossing his arms over his chest. The kid glows as light envelops him, a light version of the kid is pulled out then changes into an eye similar to Ghost's Eyecons. The Eyecon is absorbed into Ghost Alter.
"Mash! Get the civilians out of here! I'll take him!" I ordered as I took out my Belt and quickly strap it on my waist.
"Okay, everyone! Run! Hurry!" Mash said running to the civilians to get them out of the area.
"Stop!" I exclaim running over, turning my watch and inserting it into my driver. "Henshin!" I exclaim spinning my belt.
"Kamen Rider~! Zi-O!" My armor materialises onto me, I take out my blade. I charge in and swing at Alter, my blade misses as he disappears. I spot him to my right, I run and swing at him again only to hit nothing.
"Where did you?" I ask aloud looking around, I turn back to see Ghost stepping back. "Oh no you don't!" I grab a Ride Watch from my holder, I hold it out. "Try- huh?...(looks around) He-He's gone?" I look around again to see the Alter is already gone. "Damn… I wanted to try the Ride watch out." I said putting the watch away.
"Senpai! Everyone is clear… Oh? Have you finished up already?" Mash said walking over to me
"I'd like to say that, but Ghost Alter just… Well, "Ghosted" me." I said with a shrug, as I removed my watch. My armor fades off me. I feel like I'm forgetting something tho...
"I see, that's a shame… Ah! What about the person that was attacked!?" Mash said.
"Right!" I said, turning around, when a round piece of rope, wraps around me and Mash. "Huh?" We ask at the same time, before we are pulled away.
We are observers…
Inside a bar, the Time Jackers silently await. A Server walks past the Jackers to a couple in the corner. From the main entrance, Ghost Alter steps in. One of the customers turns around and sees Ghost Alter and screams, but when she does, Wool brings time to a stand still.
"Good work out there." Wool said. "Who's next?" Wool asks, picking up her drink and sipping.
"Wool!" Ghost Alter exclaimed standing alone in the entrance.
"It's so easy for us to know where accidents will happen, after all." Wool said, taking out a tablet. Wool looking through past news to see accidents. "This one looks good!" Wool said, seeing a Tag line saying: "Gas Leak at Laboratory 5 kills, 18 Saverely injured, a freak accident." Wool stands up. "Follow me." Wool said walking out of the bar, Ghost Alter following close behind.
We are Sougo… Daikakuji Temple
"Whoa~!" I exclaim as Mash and I are knocked to the ground.
"Good catch, Takeru!" Haruhiko said, walking out of the temple.
"Um, excuse me, but. Could you please untie us?" Mash politely asks, I nod in agreement.
"What are you saying? First confess!" Mai said kneeling down at us. Mash and I look at each other confused. What is she talking about? "Don't play coy with me! You've got something to do with this!" Mai continues, I notice two girls entering the temple one is Reina and the other is another girl I don't recognize.
"Mika-chan, Reina-chan." Takeru said, as Mika and Reina ran over to us.
"Are they the monster's friend?" Mika asks looking at us. Mash and I simply look at each, both of us with a look of "Who?"
"Hang on a sec! I have no idea what's going on…" I said trying to push myself up into a standing position. "Can someone please explain it to me?" I ask, which gets me a few confused looks.
"Do you really not know what's going on?" Haru said, looking at my face to see if I'm lying. Me and Mash simply shrug. Takeru walks up to us.
"We're with Supernatural Phenomena Lab, for nearly 4 months now, we've been tracking that monster you two were just seen with." Takeru explains to us.
"And this is our client in this case, Mika-san." Haruhiko said as he looked at us. "There seems to be some connection between the monster and her missing brother." Haruhiko explained.
"I've been looking for my brother." Mika said.
"What happened?" I asked.
"He's a police officer, 4 months ago I went to bring him lunch. When I went to leave, a construction crane carrying metal beams dropped down." Mika explained looking at the ground. "My brother… He… He managed to push me out of the way, but was caught under the rubble. I was expecting him under those steel beams, but he was gone. Instead, that monster was there..." Mika finishes explaining.
"Sounds like the Time Jackers..." I muttered to Mash.
"The other day, we were able to spot the monster, but we were nowhere close to capturing that monster. But Another Kamen Rider got in the way… He mentioned a Time Rider and how he's "leaving it up to you." That person was you, right?" Takeru said. "Are you working with that monster?" Takeru asks us.
"What? No way! But… I think I know the Rider you're talking about." I said, catching the attention of everyone. "That rider has to be Saver. He's our enemy." I explained to everyone.
"I hope you are not lying to us! Just tell us what you know." Rina asks us.
"We have already." Mash said.
"We have told you everything… But we can help too! Let us help you out." I said. "I'm sure the two of us could be a great help!" I said, I look at Mash who nods in agreement with me. Takeru takes a good look at me, before he walks over and frees our bonds.
"We'll need all the help we can get. Okay, I'll trust you two." Takeru said, putting out his hand to help us up. We both take Takeru's hand as he helps us up to our feet.
"Takeru, are you sure about this?" Mai asks Takeru, Takeru nods looking at us.
"I don't think either of them poses any harm to us." Takeru said.
"Thanks, my name is Tokiwa Sougo, I want to be a king someday." I introduce myself, I get a few odd looks as usual."This is my Kouhai Mashu." I introduced next, Mash bows.
"That sounds even more suspicious." Haruhiko said with a concerned look on his face. "We should just leave these two here." Haruhiko said backing away from me.
"Ah-Wait! I didn't mean it like that!" I said, I try to think up an excuse to phrase that less… Suspicious?... Oh who am I kidding?! No matter the context it's way too suspicious! Mash then stands up. Oh?! Mash! My Angel!
"Senpai is not a suspicious individual! He wants to become the most benevolent and beloved..." Mash said. King! Yes! Thank you- "Overlord!" Mash exclaims…
"NO~!" I exclaim, Mash looks at me concerned. I put my hands in my face. "Mash… That just makes me sound even more suspicious!" I exclaimed through my hands.
"Eh!? Really?!" Mash asks.
"I-Yes!" I said looking at Mash. "No normal person would not see that as odd!" I exclaim as I turn to face everyone. "Look, don't take that the wrong way! She's just a very shel-" I pause when I see that everyone has already left… I put my hands on my face again. "Of course the left… Of course they would." I said in a defeated tone as I kneel down. Sigh~
"S-Senpai? Um… It sounds like this has happened to you before?" Mash asks me. I sigh and nod as I stand back up.
"Yeah, last time this happened, I was Judo thrown…" I said rubbing the back of my ass. "Ugh… Just remembering it makes my ass sting." I said.
"So… Did Geiz-san do that?" Mash asks me.
"No, it was another classmate, but I can definitely see him doing that to me." I said looking at Mash. Just then, my Faiz Phone X gets a call. I take it out and answer. "Tsukuyomi? Whats up?" I ask.
"Sougo, the Alter Rider is at a Chemical plant. I've sent the details to you. Geiz and Assassin are already on their way! Hurry!" Tsukuyomi updates. I hang up and look at Mash who has her serious face on again. We nod as we run off to help Geiz.

"We should just leave those alone for now." Mai said, everyone nodding in agreement. Just then Kurumi-chan and Koito-chan rush up to us. "Oh! Kurumi, Koito-chan. Whats up?" Mai asks.
"We just got reports of that Ghost Monster appearing at a nearby Chemical plant. I know the fastest route to it!" Koito said, when Sougo and Mash ran down the steps and passed us. "Wha- What the?!" Koito exclaims, as Sougo takes out something and tosses it into the air. A watch like device enlarges and transforms into a bike.
"Mash! Let's go!" Sougo shouted, jumping onto the bike and starting up the engine.
"Right! Senpai!" Mash said jumping on behind Sougo, and the two raced off somewhere.
"They must have gotten the same report." I said aloud, I look at everyone. "We have to hurry." I said, everyone nods in agreement as we head out.
We are Geiz
Assassin and I arrive at the Chemical plant and see the Guards passed out on the ground. I run over to one and check on them. "Hey! Are you alright?!" I ask, Assassin puts her hand on my shoulder.
"Master, I can sense that these people are gone already." Assassin informs me. I look back down at the guards who look dead eyed… I close their eyes and I stand up and look at Assassin. We nod and run into the plant, entering the plant, we run past the knocked out staff and security making it into the main chemical laboratory where Ghost Alter has attacked someone.
"Assassin, get the people to safety. He's mine." I said taking off my Ride Watch. Assassin nods as she jumps in to help the people out of the area. As I strap on my belt and turn my watch, insert it and transform. "Henshin!" I exclaim spinning my belt.
"Kamen Rider~! Geiz!" My armor materialises onto me, I summon my axe to me as I engage Ghost Alter though the facility. I manage to knock down Ghost to the ground as Takeru and his group arrive with someone new in tow.
"There it is!" Haruhiko exclaims pointing at Ghost Alter. Ghost Alter looks at the new group.
"Mika..." Ghost Alter recognises. What the?... Is he… Related to her somehow? I wondered, but Ghost Alter begins to hobble towards Mika. I grab him and pull him away drawing his attention back to me. I slash him with my axe again, before taking out the Ghost Ride Watch. Good to have you back. I insert the Ride Watch into my axe.
"Finish Time!" The Axe announces. I enter a ready position for the attack. "Ghost! Ka-Thunk Cutting!" The Axe exclaims as I slash at Ghost Alter, the form deactivates leaving a police officer on the ground.
"Nii-san!" Mika shouts as she runs down to the officer. So their family… "Are you okay?!" Mika shouts running over to him… No response. "Oh, no… Nii-san..." Mika said with a look of despair…
"What..." Takeru said standing up, as I looked on in Horror. "What have you do-" Just then everything freezes. And out of the corner of my eye, I see Wool step in.
"Woops, you can't beat this one." Wool said walking over to the Officer, kneeling down and reaching inside. Pulling out an Alter Ride Watch out of the Officer. "Because without this, he's dead!" Wool said looking at Mika.
4 months ago…
"Look out!" Ren shouts as he rushes to Mika, but time freezes. Wool walks over to Ren as he looks on at the frozen Metal pillars. "Whats going on here?!" Ren asks in total confusion. Wool steps out and over to Ren.
"Wanna make a Contract with me?" Wool asks, as he walks up to Mika and puts a hand on her shoulder. "If you cooperate, your sister won't have to die. And you'll become king!" Wool exclaims, Ren simply pulls away from Wool.
"Not a chance. I refuse to work alongside villains!" Ren exclaims, looking at Mika. "I can save Mika on my own." Ren said, stepping over to Mika. Wool scoffs.
"Suit yourself." Wool said, time resumes and Ren pushes Mika out of the way. The Steel pillar crushes Ren. Wool pauses time again. "But what's the point if you die in the process?" Wool kneel down taking out a Ride Watch, turning it into an Alter Ride Watch.
"Ghost!" Wool forcefully inserts the Watch into Ren transforming him into Ghost Alter. Time resumes and the events play out.
Present…
"I mean, he died to protect you!" Wool said with a devious smile on his face. "Ever since then, he's been punishing people responsible for accidents!" Wool said activating the Alter Watch again. "He really wanted to protect you!" Wool said putting the Watch back into the Officer, transforming him again. Wool and Ghost Alter set off, and Wool releases the paused time.
"Assassin! Let's go!" I shout as Assassin and I chase after Ghost Alter.
We are Takeru
"Mika-san… I'll take care of this, everyone, please make sure that everyone is safe." I said as I chased after Geiz.
We are Geiz
Assassin and I race down the halls after Wool and Ghost Alter who always manage to just stay ahead of us. "Master, we need to get him before he disappears again!" Assassin reminds me.
"I know! They turn right at the T corner, you go left and cut them off, I'll follow them right!" I ordered, Assassin nods in agreement with me. Splitting up I follow Ghost Alter and Wool, the turn the next corner and as I turn the corner I meet up with Assassin. We glance at the door that now stands between us. "Nowhere to run!" I shout as I kick the door open, knocking the door open.
"Holy shit?!" Sougo shouts, jumping back. "Uh… H-Hey Geiz." Sougo said looking down at the ground.
"Zi-O? Where did the Time Jacker and Ghost Alter go!?" I ask Sougo.
"Didn't see them… But." Sougo said pointing at the ground. I look down to see Mash is on her back. "You kicked the door open knocking Mash down… Are you okay?" Sougo said helping Mash up, Mash rubs her nose while looking at me.
"Wh-Why?" Mash asks me.
"Master, was kicking the door open really necessary?" Assassin asks me. I simply remain silent. "Don't ignore me Master." Assassin said closing in on my personal space.
"Hey! Is everyone okay?!" Takeru shouts running over to us. "Um... What happened?" Takeru asks looking at us. Everyone turns their eyes on me, I simply look away feeling the piercing daggers that are their gaze.
"Th-That's not important now..." I said removing my watch and switching back. "What matters is that the Time Jaker and Ghost Alter escaped." I informed everyone, Sougo helps Mash back up to her feet and Assassin sighs as she steps back.
"I see…" Takeru said, looking at me. "So then you're one of Sougo's friends, right?" Takeru asks me. I look at Sougo, as he glances at me. I groan and shrug. "Uhh… L-Let us gather back at the Temple in that case." Takeru suggests.
Daitenku Temple… We are Sougo
Takeru sits silently before the altar of prayer. While, Mash, and I sit on pillows on our knees, while Assassin is trying to do the same, but is struggling due to her dress. And Geiz is just leaning against a wooden pillar. Haruhiko enters with a small fairy on her shoulder. "Hows Mika-chan?" I ask.
"She's pretty shaken, Koito-san is helping her rest." Haruhiko explains.
"It's understandable." Takeru said standing up and walking over to us. "That monster is her brother… Not only that..." Takeru said, I jump in.
"They made an Alter Rider form someone who died… Not to mention Saver's jumping in to help." I summed up.
"But at least we know when and the where finally." Mash points out.
"She's right. We can end this quickly." Geiz said walking over to me. "Let's set out." Geiz said walking out with Assassin jumping up to her feet and outside. I nod, as Mash joins me as we go to leave, I pause turning back to Haruhiko. "Hey, I have a favor I'd like to ask real quick." I said to Haruhiko.
"Wha… Um… Okay?" He said, I quickly handed him a piece of paper with instructions. Then I turn to leave again. "W-Wait. Where are you going?" Haruhiko asks us.
"To the past, duh. Don't worry we'll fix things here! Please do what I wrote down! Thank you!" I said, as we rushed to the Time Mazines.
3 months in the past…
Arriving in the past, we come up to the construction yard. "This must be it." I said running around the site, till we arrived at an entrance where we see Ren-san and Mika-chan approaching. "It's going to happen soon, everyone be ready." I said, everyone readies themselves. We watch as Mika walks away, the metal bars shake loose and fall.
"Ah! Mika~!" Ren shouts, I put out my hand, focusing on the steel beams. I slow time around the beams. I drop to a knee as I focus on the beams. "What the?" Ren asks looking up at the beams.
"M-Mash… Get them… Out… Of the way!" I exclaim, Mash rushes over and gets the two out from under the beams. I let go, the beams as they drop and crash into the ground. I stand up, with Charlotte helps me up to my feet.
"Wh- What happened to the pillars?" Mika asks looking at the pillars. "Who are you?" Mika asks Mash.
"That's a bit complicated..." Mash said, backing up.
"Can't you mind your own business Zi-O?" Wool said walking over. "I need him to become king." Wool then freezes time around us and walks over to Ren. Activating the ride watch and stuffing it into Ren.
"Ghost!" Ren cries out as he transforms.
"Stop getting in my way." Wool said as he disappeared and time resumed. Ghost wanders into the construction site and begins to go on a rampage.
"We need to go now!" Geiz shouts as he runs into the construction yard with Assassin following close behind him. I run over to Mash, Mash checking on Mika who's in shock.
"Don't worry! We'll save your brother!" Mash promises, she looks at me. "Right Senpai?" Mash asks me, I give a solid nod.
"Yeah, no one deserves to have their body manipulated like a puppet, weather alive or dead. No one!" I said strapping on my belt. "Not on my watch! Mash let's go!" I shout as I take out my Watch.
We are Observer
Not far behind, Takeru and Makoto rush onto the scene. "Are you sure you felt something here?" Makoto asks Takeru. Takeru nods as he looks around.
"I'm sure about it. I felt close by… Wh- Hey! What's happening here!?" Takeru shouts as he runs over to Mika. "Are you okay?" Takeru asks as Makoto rushes over.
"I-I was about to be crushed under some steel beams, before some guy and his friends saved me. Then my brother transformed into a monster and ran into the construction site..." Mika explains dumbfounded. Takeru and Makoto look at each other then they run into the construction site after Ghost Alter.
We are Sougo
Geiz and I chase after Alter, who just manages to keep ahead. Alter trips on rubble, before he begins to float up into the air. Oh come on. Altar turns back to us, bringing it's right hand up, making two finger point Ghost Alter materialized orbs of light. What are those?... I begin to hear whispers from the orbs. Those are… Souls?
"Uhhrr… Rah~!" Alter exclaims as the souls fly down into the ground, a light flash soon summons forth something. The light materializes into what can only be described as ground troops.
The Gamma Commandos have a pure blank face, black body, silver boots, a belt with an eye on them, a skeletal like chest image. They wear a black jacket with a hood, with silver flame marks on the hood. They carry small silver like blades.
"Where- How?" I sputtered to speak, I backed up.
"Tch! Focus! Come on!" Geiz said as he took out a Geiz Ride Watch. I nod as I take out my own, just then two more figures arrive at the scene. "Hey, you need to get- Wha?" Geiz freezes as we see who had some to help. We see Takeru and Makoto arrive with their belts on.
"Who are-" Makoto said looking at us, Takeru grabs his shoulder taking out his own Eyecon.
"Later, that lady is waiting for his brother. And these guys are here to help right?" Takeru said, looking at us. Me and Geiz look at me, we share a nod.
"We have your back!" I said, all four of us activate our Watch and Eyecon, inserting them into our belt.
"Eye!" Geiz and I tilt our belts, as Takeru and Makoto enter their transformation poses.
"Henshin!" All four of us exclaim, spinning and closing and opening the belts.
"Kaigan!" "Ore!" "Specter!" The Ghost Drivers exclaim. "Rider Time!" The Jiku Drivers exclaims. Our suits materialise on us, the Kanji attach onto our faces, and the parkas on Ghost and Specter. "Kamen Rider~! Zi-O!" "Kamen Rider~! Geiz!" "Let's go Kakugo! Go-Go-Go-Ghost!" "Ready Go! Kakugo! Doki-Doki Ghost!" All four of us take out our weapons and begin the fight.
"My life will burn bright!" Ghost exclaims.
"I'll show you my way of life!" Specter shouts.
"You're Era's Countdown… Begins now." I said, gesturing starting a watch.
"Your time is at an end!" Geiz said, as we charge at Ghost Alter. Altar sends the ground troops at us.
"What out for the Commandos!" Ghost said as the Commandos charges at us. They are Commandos? I take out my blade, a Commando swings his blade down at me. I bring up my blade and block the attack kicking the Commando away. Switching my blade to gun mode, I take out the Lazer Ride Watch, I turn the watch and activate it.
"Lazer!" I insert the watch into my belt and spin them. "Armor Time!" The armor materialises and attaches onto me. "Level up! Lazer!" The Kanji attach to my helmet.
The armor is the same as the Ex-Aid armor with more yellow and pink. The legs are different with a pair of wheels on the sole of each foot. Finally the Kanji on the helmet reads Lazer.
I put out my hand as a new weapon appeared in my hand. "Gashacon Sparrow!" The weapon announces, I split the blades apart into twin blades. Geiz takes out the Cross-Z Ride Watch and activates it. "Cross-Z!" Geiz inserts the watch into the driver and spins the belt. "Armor Time! Wake up Burning! Cross-Z!" Geiz summons forth his blade. I aim my bow, I tap the B button several times before firing. I fire off a volley of arrows that knocks down a number of Commandos.
"Good shooting. I'll finish them off." Specter said, bring out his rifle and put it up to his belt. Then Specter takes aim.
"Dai Kaigan! Gan Gan Miro!" Specter fires off a barrage of shots that take out all of the Commandos before me. Geiz runs past with his blade at ready. "Beat Crosser!" The blade announces as it's plasma blade activates. Geiz begins cutting through Commandos while charging at Alter. Alter punches at Geiz, but he jumps over Alter. Geiz grabs the butt hilt of the blade and pulls it back. "Hippare!" Geiz swings back around. "Smash Hit!" Alter is sent flying back. Ghost runs in taking out a red eyecon, inserting it into his belt and closes and opens the belt eye. "Kaigan! Musashi! Kettou! Zubatto! Cho Kengou!" The Red parka attaches onto Ghost, taking out his blades and finishes off the Commandos followed up by kicking Alter back.
"Zi-O, we need to press the advantage. Here, I'll let you use it." Geiz said, tossing me the Ghost Ride watch. I catch the Ride watch and look at Geiz.
"Eh? Are you sure?" I ask him, he shrugs.
"It's only for this fight. Not like it makes too big a difference who uses the watch." Geiz said gesturing to me… I take a moment to figure out what he's asking for, when I catch on. I take off the Specter Ride Watch and hand him the watch. "It's the same Watch with different colors and armaments. But besides that, not a real big difference right?" Geiz said, taking the watch.
"That and probably Woz right?" I said, Geiz sighs and nods in agreement. "Yeah, I'd get the feeling he'd do it eventually. Better to do it here than back with the others..." I muttered with embarrassing images coming in my head.
"Heh, imagine when we're fighting Jeanne Alter and Woz just came out and did his things. Imagine their faces when they see that." Geiz said, I take a second to image it. I chuckle at the thought.
"Hah. That's something I'd like to see. Let's save Ren and Mika-chan and get back!" I said twisting the Ghost Ride Watch and activating it.
"Right." Geiz said activating the Specter Ride Watch.
"Ghost!" "Specter!" We insert the watches into our drivers. Tilting our belts we spin them 360 the clock bell rings out as our armor appears before us. "Kaign! Ghost!" "Kaign! Specter~!" The armor attaches onto us.
The Specter armor is the same as Ghost with blue eyed Shoulder Eyecons, yellow eye, and black and blue outlines on the armor. With Geiz's yellow Kanji spelling out Specter.
The Ghost armor on Zi-O is no different, say for the clock V fin and the pink Kanji.
We are Mash
Charlotte-san and I run up to the action. Just as we see Zi-O and Geiz armor up in Ghost and Specter Armors. "Iwae!" Woz exclaims, appearing next us catching me off guard again. "He is the heir to the power of all Riders. The Ruler of time, traveling beyond time and space to reign over past and future. His name is Kamen Rider Zi-O: Ghost Armor! And in this moment, he has once again received the Paranormal powers of another Rider!" Woz exclaims.
"Woz… I… Oh forget it, even if I asked you wouldn't stop." I said with a silent sigh. Woz silently smiles and bows to me. He knows it too…
We are Sougo
"There it is." I said a smirk forming under my helmet. I summon the GanGan Saber and charge at Ghost. Dual wielding with my blade, I fire at Ghost Alter. Alter guards against the shots, but as I get in close I switch back to twin blades. I become transparent and phase though the ground, before jumping up from the ground and upper cut Alter. Switching both to gun modes, I unload as many rounds down range. Alter blocks the rounds with his body, Alter then roars unleashing more souls from the eye on his chest. "Whoa?!" I exclaim fumbling back. Just then I feel a hand grab my leg and pull me under.
"Whoa, good thin I pulled you under just in time." Ghost said, I turned to him and gave him a thumbs up. We move back up to the surface behind Alter. Ghost takes a step forward when his body begins to glitch out. "What is happening?" Ghost asks, I turn to Alter.
"We need to hurry!" I exclaim, turning back to Alter. Geiz and Specter run past and begin firing on Alter. Ghost charges at Alter, I follow after Ghost and go on the attack. Alter protrudes blades from his arms and comes slashing at us. Ghost and I block the incoming blades, we enter a blade lock with Alter.
"Takeru! Get back!" Specter shouted as he switched out his Eyecon for another. Geiz takes out his axe and the Cross-Z Ride Watch, Geiz activates the watch and inserts it on the axe. Specter closes and opens the belt's eye.
"Kaigan! Tutankhamun! Pyramid-wa Sankaku! Ohke-no Shikaku~!" The blue parka attaches onto Specter, with a new mask flipping up into place. At the same time his rifle changes into a scythe. "Finish Time!" Geiz's axe exclaims, Specter brings the eye on the rifle up to the belt eye. Geiz charges at me, Alter, and Ghost.
"Zi-O! Make some space for me!" Geiz orders, I look at my situation to see what I can do. I use my other arm to twist Alter's arm.
"Ghost, follow what I did!" I said to Ghost, he sees what I did and copies it. "Good enough Geiz?" I ask Geiz. Geiz nods running up to Alter.
"Perfect!" Geiz shouts swinging up with his axe.
"Cross-Z! Zakkuri Wari!" The swing lanches Alter into the air with a blue fire dragon dragging him further up. "Dai Kaigan! Gan Gan Miro! Omega Fang!" Specter swings a pyramid forming and sucking in Ghost Alter. Me and Ghost jump back, as we ready our finishers. I activate the watches, while Ghost pulls back and pushes in the leaver on his belt. "Finish Time! Ghost!" "Dai Kaigan! Ore! Omega Drive!" I spin the belt, we jump into the air. "Omega! Time Break!" We launch down at Ghost Alter and slam straight through him. Landing back on the ground Alter explodes.
"We got him! Ren-san!" I shout running over to Alter on the ground, Alter fades away leaving the Alter Ride Watch on the ground. The watch cracks and shatters into nothing. I pick up Ren-san and check him to see for any life-threatening injuries… I let out a sigh as I removed my Ride watch. "He's only got minor bruises." I help Ren up, everyone gathers around. "Let's get him back to the others." I said.
Daitenku Temple…
Ren-san and Mika-san both walk down the steps of the temple, waving back at us. Me, Mash and Takeru bow and wave them off. "I'm glad that all ended well." Mash said turning to me.
"Yeah." I said turning to Takeru-san. "Thank you for helping us with the Alter. I know it must be kinda confusing… You must have a lot of questions." I said rubbing the back of my head. Takeru and Makoto looks at each other before back at me.
"Yeah, I guess so but my first question would be… Why do you need our Eyecons to summon the Great Eye?" Takeru asks me.
"That. See we have someone who has died and came back as a ghost. We want to save her. That's why we want to use the Great Eye to give her a new body." I explain. Best to leave out the parts that would be difficult to explain.
"I see… So similar to my situation... Well we would be happy to help but… We don't have all the Eyecons." Takeru explains. "If you need it now-" Takeru begins, I smile bringing up my hand and waving..
"Oh, that's fine. We'll see you again in two months. Right everyone!?" I said looking at everyone else. Mash nods, Charlotte smiles, Geiz calls in his Mazine. I call my own Mazine, our machines fly down. "We'll be back in two months. So good luck with your search!" I said, climbing back into the Mazine and we fly off into the air.
Two months later…
We land back in the Daitenku Temple, and step out to see everyone with a clear look of surprise plastered on their face. "Hi, we came to pick up the Eyecons!" I exclaim.
We are Olga… Daitenku Temple future...
I'm thrown into the air, I hit the ground and tumble before hitting a bush. I try and get back up, when Echo grabs me by the collar and brings me up again. "What's wrong?! I'm an injured and dying old lady! And you can't even fight back against that?!" Echo shouts at me.
"I-I'm not the one with Armor!" I shout, pulling away from Echo and making some distance between us. I stand back up taking out my Faiz Phone X in gun mode and aiming at Echo. Echo tosses the Chaldea Ride Watch to me. "That doesn't count." I said grabbing the Ride watch.
"We don't have time. You need to gain Rider armor now." Echo said, approaching me, stopping, she begins coughing. "I don't have time..." Echo said, my phone rings. Ground team! I look at Echo, she gestures to me to go ahead. I take out my phone and answer the call.
"Ground team? Report?" I ask.
"Alter Ghost is down, and we are setting everything up to summon the Great Eye. You know now that I say it out loud, it sounds like we're summoning something demonic." Sougo said on the other side of the call. I just let out a long sigh.
"Sougo, focus. How long till the ritual is ready?" I ask Sougo.
"Not much longer, we're waiting for you. Once you arrive we can begin." Sougo explains. I stand up and look at Echo. "And uh… Did you meet Director Echo?" Sougo asks.
"I'll meet you there." I said then hanging up. "You're coming with me." I said, looking at Echo, to which she sits down and begins to laugh. "What's so funny?! You're going to die if you don't come with me!" I exclaim.
"Pushing responsibilities onto others. It's no wonder we never became Master Candidates." Echo said, twisting the knob on her helmet it fades away. "You're never going to achieve something by pushing you're work onto others." Echo said standing back up and walking over to me.
"Why are you telling me all of this. Why are you pushing me to fight when I can't!" I shout, Echo grabs me. Echo tries to stare at me, I look away in reaction.
"Look at me Olga… LOOK AT ME!" Echo shouts, I reluctantly look at her. "I'm telling you this, because I'm the only one who can! Sougo as he is now, would never tell you straight to your face, Geiz respects you too much to say anything, Tsukuyomi too, and the rest of the staff would not dare say a word!" Echo shouts, shaking me. "The only other person who could tell you this, tried to KILL us! Don't you get it?" Echo said to me, she let's go and walked over to see the skyline of the city. "Doing nothing, is going to keep you safe… In the short term. But in the long term..." Echo clenches her chest. "It will cost you… Everything." Echo said, seeing a tear roll down her face.
"But, I… You have a second chance here! You can take my place, with what you know about the future. You could change it better than I could ever!" I exclaim looking at Echo. "I… I can't bear the responsibilities! I never signed up to lead an organization meant to save the world! I broke down when I learned the truth of Father's actions! I turned to Leff and I died for it! I was never prepared to take this role! I never was never will!" I shout tears running down my own face, as I drop to my knees. "You… You're better for this task than me… I… I don't deserve this position." I said, Echo looks back at me and walks over to me.
"Fine… On the condition that you come with me." Echo said, I look up at her, I silently nod.
Daitenku Temple past… We are Sougo
I sit down next to Takeru and look out into the courtyard. "Man, hearing your story really just goes to show how difficult time Travel can be to explain." Takeru said, walking over to me with a cup. "It's some lemon tea. Here." Takeru said handing the drink to me. I take the drink and take a sip. Ooh… That's nice… My mind wanders back to Ren-san… "Is something wrong?" Takeru asks me.
"H-Huh? Oh… It's… Nothing." I said looking at my drink, Takeru simply sits down and looks at me ready to hear my problems. "I-It's nothing really." I said, Takeru gives me a warm smile.
"Sougo-kun. It's okay. If there is something wrong please tell me." Takeru said sitting down on his knees and looking at me. "It's clear to everyone that it's eating you up inside." Takeru points out. I'm that obvious huh?... Well, I guess I have nothing to lose by telling him.
"It's… About Ren-san and how he was… Used. He died, then his corpse was used to make Ghost Alter." I said looking down at my cup. "F-For context, in… the future, I will become an Overlord. Ruining the lives of Billions of people." I said, clenching my cup tight. "I just… Wonder if- I know my future, but Not all of it… How far does my tyranny go? Do I use everything to conquer the world? Do I bring back the bodies of the fallen to Conquer? How many atrocities are caused by my hands?" I ask looking at my cup, my mind flashes back to the town in France with the corpses of zombies made to attack innocents who wander into the city… "I just… I don't know if it's because I'm stupid, or stubborn, or… Or Something! But… I keep insisting on this road..." I said putting my drink down and putting my face in my hands. "I just… Don't know what else to do..." I said.
"Hmm… Well, You have time to wonder." Takeru said, I take my face out of my hands and to Takeru. "You said that this is in the future right? By about how long?" Takeru asks me.
"By about… 50 years..." I said, then pointing at myself. "From my perspective." I clarify, Takeru chuckles.
"Yes, thank you for that… But, it means you have 50 years to think about what kind of Overlord you are going to become." Takeru said, smiling as he looks out into the garden. "Many people struggle with the idea of what they are going to do in the future. You are unique in that you know what the future holds. But just because you know doesn't mean that the Future is set in stone." Takeru said.
"Now that you say that… Geiz and Tsukuyomi are from an alternate future… So… Maybe the future really isn't set in stone." I said, picking up my drink again.
"There are infinite possibilities for Humans, Sougo-kun." Takeru said standing up and looking at the altar further in the temple. "I believe in many different gods Sougo-kun… One I always believe is a God known as Possibility." Takeru said. The God known as Possibility… "It's a god that lives in every single living being. It grants us limitless possibilities." Takeru explains, then he looks at me. "Just because you know that being an Overlord is a "Possibility" means you can change what kind of Overlord you become. So don't stop thinking, you have lots of time." Takeru said walking off… I look back at the garden and think on Takeru-san's words…
"What Kind of Overlord… I become..." I mumble taking a sip.
We are Geiz… Daitenku graveyard…
I stare at all of the graves, ones with peoples names, family names, and more. Some with flowers, others with burnt out sticks, gifts and others… "Recognize anyone?" Makoto said, walking over.
"No… Just." I muttered looking down at the graves. "I've just never been to a graveyard… or rather… not one in this condition." I said looking at a grave. I knelt down and look at the grave. Makoto kneels down next to me.
"You said you came from the future beyond Sougo right?... How bad does it get?" Makoto asks me to look at the grave I stare at.
"The situation was always desperate, we would just burn bodies, or leave them to decompose..." I said thinking back to the last fight I fought in the future before coming here. "Oma Zi-O would just make the bodies disintegrate, leaving nothing." I said, I looked down as some of the ashes left from some burnt sticks. Picking up the ash I lift it up into the air, the wind catches the ashes as they fly into the sky. "I would see this sight with a redder sky." I said looking back down. "We never had the time to bury any of the bodies." I said standing back up.
"So it gets pretty bad then, huh?" Makoto said, then he looked at me. "But, it's clear that there is something else bothering you." Makoto asks me, I look back at the ground.
"I just… How does someone like Sougo become such a monster like Oma Zi-O?" I ask looking around. "He's so… nice, innocent… Human. Instead of the Monster of Oma Zi-O… So, how?" I wonder aloud. Makoto walks over and taps me on the shoulder.
"Come with me." Makoto said as he started walking away. I follow him to a grave that says 'Tenkuji Family' Is… Is this? "This is the grave of Takeru's Mother and Father." Makoto explains he kneels down and puts his hands together. "Takeru's Mother died when she gave birth to Takeru, and his father when Takeru was 8." Makoto said standing up. "Not to mention that me and my sister disappeared. Almost leaving Takeru all by himself for 10 years." Makoto said, turning back to me.
"Huh… I never knew. Yet… How can Takeru still smile?" I asked Makoto.
"Well, Takeru wasn't completely alone. He still had the priests at the temple and another best friend. Along with those he made at school." Makoto said, crossing his arms. "I bet he would have become a lot more bitter if he was alone. But he managed to keep his smile. I bet Sougo-kun at least someone to keep him in check." Makoto said, I think on his words. "Do you know anyone who could fit the bill?" Makoto asks me.
"His Uncle… Other than Sougo himself, he is the last living member of his family… or I guess… Was." I said. Due to the Grand Order he's dead… But I bet that's one reason why he's fighting to complete the Grand Order. "Then after that I guess… Mash? Altho they have only just met." I said.
"Well, then I bet that whatever caused Sougo to become an Overlord… Is due to him being alone." Makoto surmises. What? "Loneliness tends to break people. He must have had a few people he cared for taken away from him. That can make anyone, no matter how nice they are, hate the world and others." Makoto explains he places a hand on my shoulder. "So, be a friend. Or just be someone he can talk to." Makoto said, just then overhead a Time Mazine flies over. "Is that her?" Makoto asks. I nod, "Then let's go." Makoto said, we head off to meet up.
We are Olga
The hatch opens and lowers, I help Echo up onto my shoulder as we walk down the hatch. Sougo and Mash run over to meet us. "Dire- Both Directors?!" Sougo exclaims, running up to us. "Why is Echo Director here?" Sougo asks me… I need to keep putting Echo in charge after the wish is granted…
"I was hoping I could heal her wounds with another wish." I explain to Sougo. It's a weak explanation but, better have something. Besides if he argues, I can shoot him down. "Just help me with Echo please." I ask Sougo and Mash. The two come over and I hand Echo off to the two. They help her over into the temple, as Takeru, Makoto, and Alan place their Eyecons in an eye formation.
"Okay, we are ready to summon the Great Eye." Takeru said, turning to me. I collect myself and put on my serious face.
"Roman, Da Vinci, Tsukuyomi? How are we? Anyone nearby?" I ask.
"No? What's this all of a sudden?" Roman asks me.
"Have you forgotten about Saver? We still haven't seen him since we first came here. I want you three to keep an eye out for him. Da Vinci focuses on the Singularity in Roman's place." I order. Roman quickly types away on his console, Tsukuyomi nods and also looks down at her console. "Okay, let's start." I said, everyone nods.
*Zip.* I hear softly behind me. I slowly turn around to see a zipper open up behind me, behind the zipper's other side is Saver, slowly coming out of the zipper. *Z-Ziiip~!* The Zipper fully opens as Saver steps out.
"What kind of Jojo kind of entrance was that?!" Sougo exclaims. I see! So he was waiting for this moment!
"Thank you for doing all of the work for me. This saves me quite a lot of trouble." Saver said, stepping out towards me. "I figured trying to take it from you would be… Too much. Especially with that little stabbing you did." Saver directs to Geiz and Charlotte. "Now hand over the Eyecons." Saver said, putting out his hand. I take a step back.
*Bang!* A round flies into Saver's chest blasting him back and down the steps. Everyone looks to Echo with the barrel of her gun smoking.
"Everyone, hold him off." Echo orders looking to everyone. "Olga and I will stay here, finish the wish then join with you." Echo said, everyone nods as they rush to meet Saver. "Come on… Let's end this." Echo said, forcing herself up to her feet. I ran over and put her arm over my shoulder.
"Let's do this." I said walking up to the Eye. The Eyecons form a crest and float up into the sky expanding, as it becomes larger and larger. I start to float up. "W-Whoa! Whoa! Wha!" I exclaim as I fly into the eye.
We are Sougo
"Mash! Shield up!" I shout jumping back. Mash steps forwards with her shield at the ready and takes the brunt of an explosion. "Christ! Just how many of those Zakuro Lockseeds do you have on you?!" I shout to the Saver.
"As many as I desire." Saver answers. Well that's just bullshit. "Unfortunately, your friends have little time." Saver said, as Haruhiko, Mai, and the others all step in front of Echo each holding a Zakuro Lockseed. Living shields and sucide bombers…
"Tch! We can't do anything like this!" Geiz exclaims, stepping back. Just then, the ground rumbles as a crest appears in the sky over the temple. "Is that the Great Eye?" Geiz asks.
"Yeah, that's it." Ghost confirms.
"Ah, getting it ready for me? You shouldn't have." Saver said, starting to walk towards us. Just then Necrom steps forwards and puts out his hands. Haru and the others stop moving as they begin to resist Saver. "Tch… Stop getting in my way." Saver said, taking out his weapons.
We are Olga
Entering a field of white, with a large yellow eye at the center. "Where am I?" I ask, walking over to the center of the eye. The eye begins to radiate colors as a child's voice speaks out asking.
"What is it you desire?" It asks.
"Um… Are you… The Great Eye?" I ask.
"Yes… First you must speak your desire." It answers. Great, at least this wish granter doesn't need a small war to power it… But now it's time. I take in a breath, preparing myself for the death that's not too far off. "What is your wish?" It asks again.
"I… I wish for the other me down below… To be healed! And to take my place." I wish… Silence. I take a breath awaiting my end.
"That wish which you ask cannot be granted." It answers. What?! "For the other you below… No longer has a soul for which to heal." It explains. No… Soul? Then… It wasn't possible to begin with?! "Her time is coming to an end soon." It clarifies, I quickly take out my phone and call up Echo.
"What is this about you not having a soul!?" I exclaim. To which I hear a chuckle.
"Right… That. Well. I gave my soul to survive. But I don't have time for the backstory." Echo said though the other side. "Just wish you're body back." Echo answered.
"No!... You… You can't push this onto me." I said.
"You wouldn't do anything unless you had it pushed onto you. It was like that for our entire lives… Because of Father." Echo said, I clench my fist the sting of truth. "I couldn't break away from that for a long time. And when I finally did… It was too late. I couldn't change, but you can. From here on you need to make these choices yourself. Become independent, strong, A leader… The Director of Chaldea." Echo said. Just pushing this on to me like this… How… "You can do it. You can become strong." Echo assures me.
"How are you so sure?" I ask.
"Because." Echo said, "I am… You." Echo said before I heard something drop to the ground.
"The Final embers of her soul and body have gone out. She is gone." It answers. "I ask again, what is your desire?" It asks. 'I know you can be strong. Because. I am… You.' I really can't be this strong… No… I need to stop thinking like that… Even if I can never become as strong as her… At least… At least I can help. And… Maybe I can avoid whatever fate she, Geiz, and Tsukuyomi had to live in. I take a deep breath and exhale.
"I...I wish. For me to be brought back to life as well as… Master Compatibility." I answer. My body begins to glow.
"Your wish… Is Granted." The Great Eye answers. Light engulfs my vision as I find myself back on the ground. I feel my chest, feel my heart. I can hear a subtle beat of the heart. The Faiz Phone gets a call, I answer the call from Roman.
"Vital signs confirmed… Welcome back Director." Roman said, appearing in a call. "But… Echo director… She-" Roman begins but I simply shake my head in silence, Roman goes quite again. I look over to see the Echo Ride Watch sitting on the ground. The other driver must have disappeared along with Echo… I walk over and pick up the Ride Watch. I look at the watch taking out my Chaldea Ride Watch.
"I don't know if I can match you… But… I can try." I said looking at the two watches. The Echo fades into dust, then the dust enters the Chaldea Ride Watch. Changing the Watch face blue and giving it new power.
"Echo!" The watch exclaims.
"Tsukuyomi, update. What is the Ground Team's current situation?" I ask.
"Not a good director. Saver is using people as living shields, Takeru-san's friends are being used as shields." Tsukuyomi informs me. I take a deep breath, looking at the Tokei Driver.
"I'm Enroute." I said running down the steps.
We are Sougo
"Team, the mission is a success!" Tsukuyomi said as I see the crest turn back into the Eyecons before scattering across the area. "The director is on-route to joint up with you." Tsukuyomi said.
"Good to hear Tsukuyomi. Saver it's over! The Eyecons are scattered!" Geiz exclaims, Saver looks around, all before turning to us.
"If that is the case. I will just find them and use them again." Saver answers, pointing his weapon at us.
"What the hell are you gaining in the first place?" I ask to bring my weapon up. "You want this wish granting power. For what?" I ask, Saver looks at me and scoffs.
"It's a simple reason. So I wont bother explaining." Saver said. Just then, I hear footsteps behind us. I turn around to see Olga behind us. "Oh, the corpse has arrived." Saver said.
"Hey! You shut up!" I shouted, then I turned to the Director. "But, which director is it? Echo Director? Or-" I begin to ask, Director walks past me. I see her long hair. Oh, it's my director. "Director, where is Echo Director?" I ask, Olga clenches hand as she brings up her hand, the blue Echo Ride Watch sitting on her palm.
"I'm sorry Geiz." Olga apologies, Geiz goes silent before facing forwards.
"We can meet the dead when it's our time… That's what my Olga told me. So I will focus on the present." Geiz said. Wow… I hate to think how many times he's been through losing his friends and meteors… "How are you doing, Director?" Geiz asks the Director.
"I'm not sure… But I can at least stand along with you all now." Olga said, turning the watch face and activating the watch.
"Echo!" The Watch exclaims. Is she going to? Olga inserts the Ride watch into her driver. Pressing down the crown, Olga brings her arms out and around, so that her hand is on top of the Driver.
"Henshin." Olga said, bringing her left arm up. The Driver face spins 360, the watch strap rings spin then passes over Olga, each time adding more and more to the armor until it's completed. Red Kanji flies out, then attaches to the helmet to complete the armor… So that's… Kamen Rider Echo… "Time was running out for me… But now your time is running out." Echo said, staring down Saver. Nice! More backup!
"I get the feeling we can't lose!" I exclaim stepping forwards. Echo puts her hand out to stop me. "Huh? What's wrong?" I ask.
"Leave Saver to me," Echo said looking down at her hand. "I want to see what this new body and armor can do." Echo said, stepping towards Saver.
"Roger." Geiz said, removing his armor.
"Seriously? By herself?" I ask, I look at Echo with Saver's human shields in front of him. Echo rushes towards Saver, quickly reaching out grabbing Haruhiko's Zakuro Lockseed. Several shades followed lunging out grabbing the lockseeds from all of Saver's human shields. Then the Echo tossed the bombs to Saver exploding upon impact but leaving everyone else safe and sound. "Seriously? By herself?" I said in a more disbelieved tone.
We are Olga
I rush at Saver, Saver opens fire on me launching a barrage of shots at me. I dodge a shot while still running, several more shades dodge as I weave my way through the bullets not having a single one hit me. This is… Incredible! Coming in close, Saver swings down at me. I dodge to the right leaving a shade behind, the blade swinging past me. "What?" Saver exclaims, I back hand with my left arm, followed by the shade with 3 other shades punching Saver in the gut, chest, and face knocking Saver back and stumbling to the ground.
"This power… I will master this power." I said, looking at Saver who's struggling to stand back up. I charge Saver again, he swings at me again, I duck under the attack, with a shade jumping over the blade, I sweep the leg while the shade kicks Saver in the face. Saver hits the ground face first. I make some distance between me and Saver. Echo had a pistol for a weapon, how do I summon it? I put out my hand and imagined a pistol, specifically a revolver. A small clock appears in the palm of my right hand that transforms into a revolver pistol.
"Zikan Revolken!" The gun announces. I take a moment to look at the weapon and admire it.
The Revolver has a break action revolver. With a white body and black outline. The grip is made of wood, and next to the hammer is a leaver that allows the gun to flip into a straight position. The reload cylinder is large enough for a Ride Watch to fit in the cylinder. The barrel length has a red neon line running down the barrel of the gun. The underside has a compensator that has a tipped edge.
"This is my weapon..." I said twirling the revolver in my hand. "This feels… Familiar..." I said then pointing my gun at Saver. Let's save that question for later. Saver swings at me, I duck under the blade and kick Saver in the back before firing at Saver. Saver blocks the shots with his bow then swings the bow blade at me. I block with my gun, but several shades appear to the side shooting Saver. Saver drops back, and begins to laugh.
"Impressive, but it's not enough!" Saver said, snapping his fingers as Zakuro bombs dropped down. I jump back to dodge the explosives. "But you will not stop me from walking God's path. Once I collect the Eyecons together again, I will rule a-" I cut Saver off by shooting him.
"I don't care. What you want or who you are. All I know is that you're in my way and that I'm ending your life here!" I exclaim pressing the crown on my driver.
"Finish Time! Echo!" I tilt and spin the driver. "Time Fragment!" I lunge towards Saver.
"Damn you! You're… You're just like him! Just like Ryoma!~" Saver shouts.
"Like I care!" I shout, appearing in front of Saver going to kick him. I stop and quickly rush around behind Saver in a flash. "Time's up!" I said kicking Saver in the back, multiple shades kick in different positions.
"AAAARGH~!" Saver explodes his belt dropping to the ground as the smoke clears… Where… is his body? Ghost rushes over making an eye symbol with gestures before focusing. A dark cloud appears, Specter and Necrom run over and all 3 attack the cloud burning it away. As it does I could hear screams from the cloud… What was?
"I never knew that this guy was a spirit linked to that belt." Ghost explains walking over, Ghost removes his armor returning to Civilian form. "It's just like a Gamma commander being summoned… It needs a physical object to materialise." Takeru explains looking at the belt, the belt cracks then shatters into pieces. "But it looks like he won't come back..." Takeru said.
"Soo… What? Was it like a ghost?" Sougo asks, taking off his armor.
"N-No, he-He had to be alive. Ma-Maybe directors attack just-" Geiz said shaking in his shoes.
"Hmm? Is big strong Geiz scared of a little ghost?" Sougo teases, I let out a sigh as I shake my head.
"Enough. He's gone now. Our job here is done..." I said removing my armor. "But before we leave… One last thing. Takeru-san? I wish to ask something of you." I ask Ghost.
That night… We are Sougo
Everyone sits before a roaring fire, with Echo director's items being burned away. Da Vinci has taken Echo's Time Mazine back to Chaldea for the time and what's left is being burned. I turned to Geiz who suggested this. "Is this really okay?... To just burn all of this?" I ask Geiz he looks up to the night sky.
"We never had time to bury bodies. It's the same now. We take a quick moment of peace before heading back to our mission. It's what she would have wanted." Geiz explains looking back down at the fire… What she would have wanted… Well, I guess I shouldn't question it.
"Hey, has anyone seen the Director?" Mash asks looking around. I look around as well, I can't see her anywhere. Yeah… Where is she? "Oh! Director… Hmm? Director…?" Mash asked in a worried tone, I turned around to look to see the Director holding a knife… What does she plan to do? She grabs her hair then cuts it short, Director then walks up to the fire and tosses her cut hair into the fire.
"There… That's the last thing I needed to do." Olga said. "I figured that I've taken Echo's Ride Watch as my own. I should look like her… Well… She did look like me after all… Just short hair..." Olga muttered to herself, she sighs reaching into her pocket and taking out a piece of dried fruit and eating it. Did… Did she always have those on her?
"So… What now, Director?" I ask looking at her.
"We head back to France. This time with more help." Olga said, then approached Takeru and the others. "I'm sorry for any trouble we may have caused you, but thank you nonetheless for this." Olga thanks I stand up as Geiz, Mash, Charlotte, and I join Olga. We collectively give a bow as thanks, Takeru and the others bow as well.
"It's fine. Have a safe trip back to… Whatever task you have next." Takeru said, Geiz and I take that as our que to call down our Time Mazines. Just then a small fairy-like creature flies over to Haruhiko.
"What the?! What's going on?! Haru! Takeru explained, what did I miss?!" The Fairy asks Haru. Everyone boards the Time Mazine. Olga and Mash join me in my Time Mazine, the hatch closes as we begin to lift off. "Wait, they are leaving already!? Wait! What is going on?!" The Fairy asks in complete confusion. We fly off into the portal and back into the time stream.
"... Roman." Olga asks. "I want to address all of the Chaldea Staff though the intercom." Olga orders, Roman nods and types a few commands into the console. Hmm?
"Okay, you ready to go, Director." Roman said. "Might I ask why you want to talk to everyone?" Roman asks Olga. The question on everyone's mind.
"I… Need to get something off my chest." Olga said, collecting herself. "Staff of Chaldea, this is Olga Marie Animusphere, you're Director. I know I am… Very late with this speech, but I wish to get this off my chest. I… Am scared, I am terrified. I am scared of what might happen to humanity and us. This fear has fueled most of my actions since coming to Chaldea. Since becoming the Director, it has garnered me a… Unfavorable-no… I've gained some distance from some for my actions. For that… I apologise. Again fear has plagued my mind and… It has resulted in the Grand Order… But worrying about my mistake now is not going to help anyone. I… Haven't been any kind of Director since I took over, but I intend to change that… With the Grand Order underway, a potential future beyond the Grand Order, and the terrible nature of it. I intend to change it, one way or another… We will end the Grand Order, we will save humanity, and protect it from the Threat of Oma Zi-O… Our time is not over yet." Olga said with a stern face. She looks at me. Please don't tell me she wants to kill me. Please don't tell me she wants to kill me. Please don't tell me she wants to kill me! "I'm not going to order a hit on you if that's what you're wondering." Olga assures.
"Oh thank god." I said.
(Screen changes, showing Ghost's see through chest with his blade ready, switching to a school, then flash of Zi-O's lower side with his blade pointed at the ground, returns to school, flash off Specter face hidden bringing his rifle up into his hands, back to school, finally to Geiz's lower half and his axe, with another rider walking up phasing in and out.)
