CiA: Okay, this is a prologue of sorts for a story I will be posting separately from this… That will be my first story…I am completely sorry if I get something wrong having to do with original plotline of Yu Yu Hakusho in any of my stories. As much as I love the show and as much as I've tried to watch every episode possible, many factors enable me from doing so.
Oh, and I don't own Yu Yu Hakusho.
PROLOGUE(ish)
The pounding in her hair had moved down to take residence in the back of her eye sockets. Her eyes rolled open and she noticed that everything surrounding her had a pulsing, flashing aura. The door had waves of dark purple encasing it while the sleeping boy on the couch was a dim, flickering blue.
The pressure was spreading, down to her throat. It felt hot and constricted and congested. As she lay, herpillow propped her head up at an awkward angle, it got harder, more sickening to breathe. She stood and stumbled into the rain. Each raindrop had a tiny red aura that flared as it exploded on the ground. She walked amongst the red dots and collected some of her own.
She sat in the middle of a mud puddle in the meadow she found a few weeks ago. She slowly stretched out and reclined until she could feel the mud in her toes, her fingers, her hair. She lay there, eyes clenched, waiting for something. Thunder rumbled overhead but she continued to lay motionless. Then, as the rain turned to hail, she slowly opened her eyes.
She rolled over in the mud, chin in, and face out. Pulled into a cross-legged sitting position, she stared at the edge of forest and meadow. She stared for as long as the storm was around her. And staring back the entire time were a pair of blood red eyes. Always there, those blood red eyes.
