I don't own anything but my Ocs blah blah.

Upon opening her vibrating eyes, her pupils dilated, immediately transforming her hopeful hazy eyes into a irregular shade of unholy black.

Her skull ached vigorously, the endless pounding that seemed to spin her head caused her to stretch her compact neck and roll her head. The surface of her chest drastically reached upward as she inhaled.

The cooling air around her was crisp, satisfying her dry lungs.

McKenna twitched her stiff fingers and toes, awakening her paralyzing body. Beneath her undisturbed figure was a shiny, naked metal table. She patted around heedfully, the table was chilling against her finger tips. Her smooth hair was widely spread out as if someone had taken the time to brush it out, untangling it from its wild waves.

Around her, steam like air was being pushed from small holes around the walls that lead to the vents in the noiseless ship. The hushed sound of the air exhaling viciously, alarmed her senses.

Turning her head warily, she could feel her throat tighten painfully, McKenna's throbbing heart was beating faster against her ribs to the point she was actually concerned that they might crack.

The mysterious room that she was in was shady and dark. Flashing blood red lights were her only source of vision. The lights flickered on and off in an odd pattern, giving her only a certain amount of light before vanquishing once again.

In those brief seconds, she was given access to look around, she could maintain to see down the long, forbidden hallway. It was narrow and haunting, it was preparing her, for what? No one knew. She didn't want to find out.

Her cracked lips opened as she blinked quickly, she lowered her round chin, resting it against her boney collarbone. She observed her body.

The clothes McKenna had on when she was given to the alien were untouched, more importantly, she still had her cherished necklace. All her limbs were still, luckily in tacked. Her tense shoulders struggled to lower down to their regular position.

Where was she?

What happened to her?

Obeying her mind, McKenna swiftly whipped her legs around the table and noticed her feet didn't touched the unseeable ground, they dangled helplessly. Her muscles felt heavy. A chill went down her spine, the coolness from the metal was uncomfortable to her warm flesh.

Her numb body was shaking, the cross that was around her neck was exceedingly cold, the feeling of it made goose bumps attack her skin. McKenna eventually lifted her trembling hand to hovered over her mouth. She briskly attempted to shut her eyes and relax her body but it ended in failure, she couldn't stop shaking.

Another steam of air entered the wide room, it circled her like a taunting ghost, making everything around her seem to disappear into a utter blur. It wasn't until then that she hear an bone-clenching sound of clicking.

It was heavy, vexed and very unfriendly.

Her long nails pierced her palms with anger and fright. The lights reappeared and so did the outlines of a massive shape. The muscles that covered it made it clear that it was buff. Her blaring gasp engulfed the unknown being that dwelled in the blinding shadows.

She knew what is it, she hadn't forgotten that she was given away against her well to them. She'd never forget. She wanted the alien to show its face to her.

McKenna leaned her pounding head to the side, trying to map out where it's possible location was.

It began to move.

It's stomping footsteps mimicked the sound of her powerfully heart beat.

She still couldn't see anything.

The darkness became her enemy.

This is what she gave up her life for? To wake up on a icy metal table and to be stalked by an alien that she couldn't even see?

Did it plan on eating her?

After nibbling her moist lip, McKenna's lips shifted into a flat line, her spiteful tone was doubtful as she ordered the alien, "Come out of the dark."

Like the calm before the wicked storm, the dreading silence that followed her command was cruel.

The sneaky alien walked forward like an agitated animal.

Stomp. Stomp.

McKenna ambitiously stood her ground, her eyelids squinted in attempt to seek the alien, the corners of her eyes wrinkled in the process.

Finally, she saw the introverted beast.

Dear God.

She couldn't truly comprehend what she was seeing.

Not human, this was not human.

The rare red lights reveled the creature as it carefully crept up its foreign body, revealing it's harsh, green and yellow reptilian scales, her curious eyes trailed all over its broad chest shyly. Upon reached its ravaged eyes that nested below its bulky eyebrows with her own suspenseful ones, McKenna froze with shock. It's face was hideous. It's moody bright yellow eyes locked with hers in a competitive stare off. It was beyond anything she could manage to react to. It was unmasked, the last time she witness one of its kind, they were equipped with masks. This experience was something new. It had pointy, sharp four crab like mandibles protruded from its grating cheeks. It's light pink gums were flooded with wet, thick saliva, it dripped from its inner razor teeth that were used for tearing and biting.

She could only image what those predatory teeth could do to something pitiful like her.

This was something she'd never even seen in her nightmares, this was terrifying.

It had nothing on expect a simple cloth that hung between its tree truck like thighs.

It was a male, definitely.

Placing its hands behind his lower back, he spoke, his mandibles moved around actively, "About time you have awaken, mih-ken-nah."

It could talk?

She absorbed his choice of words like a sponge. It's masculine voice was raspy and different to make out amongst it's extraterrestrial accent.

"How the fuck, do you know my name?" Her improper tongue fought back with a snappy hiss.

The male looked around the room calmly, her reaction was no surprise to him, he was warned that the female from the northern side of the planet earth was difficult. He was watching the white steam before resuming his glance back on the feisty human.

"I would have expected you to first question my ability to speak your language?" The shocked expression on her facial features made him grin a nasty smile, "and your name, well, how rude would it been of us to invite you on our ship and not even know your name?"

"You didn't invite me, I was forced away from my family and home to be given to you," she couldn't tell but notice his enormous boney head, "Tell me why I'm here!"

He stepped closer to her.

McKenna's legs planted themselves on the table once again, she desperately slid farther away from him. She didn't want that thing near her.

Decreasing the distance between them with ease, he reached her, he towered the table like a skyscraper as she isolated herself, despite her questions, he decided to answer the one he asked her himself, "I have studied thee English language for many years," the male took another step till his thighs hit the rugged edge of the table, "The lack of hunts has put me to a disadvantage since I can't study your species up close-"

"Get away from me!" She silenced him as she hooked on her necklace for dear life.

His resting mandibles instantly widened in annoyance, "Bickering won't do you any good, ooman!"

Grabbing her wrist, he pulled her across the table like a rag doll, the touch of his sandpaper like hands against her own made her skin burn with irritation.

"Stop! For the love of God let me go, please!" McKenna begged.

"Stand still! I don't have time for this foolishness!" He squeezed his grip, the feeling of her fragile bones made him realize how easily he could snap her in two, "Enough before I'm forced to punish you!"

McKenna kicked like an untamed animal at the troublesome threat, she wanted to be set free, she didn't want the alien touching her, she yelled childishly, "What do you want from me!"

In response, the alien became amused as she hit his un-moveable body with her human shoes, he could barely feel a thing yet, she had a look in her eyes that convinced him that she believed she was hurting him. His thin upper lip twitched, she was more challenging than the other human females.

He didn't like that.

Out of the blue, a sharp pain made McKenna's body come to a ravishing halt as she screamed madly.

He plainly cracked a small bone in one of her wrist.

Dear God help me!

McKenna settled down as her tears escaped the border of her eyes and swam down her pale cheeks in extremely agony. The liquid made her eyelashes seems to glow as the red lights landed on them. She was sitting in front of him with her wrists captured into his mercifully. She helplessly tried pulling back with all her useless might.

Stop touching me!

His copper scent made her nostrils expanded. As darkness surrounded her, the only thing she could think about was how much she wanted to live, she didn't want to die, she believed God had a greater plan for her, she couldn't die like this.

As soon as she stopped, she knew fighting was wasteful, the male's odd lips turned into a unrecognizable smirk, "I'm pleased to see that you learn quickly."

Releasing her wounded wrist, the alien began taking her shoes off, he raised a brow at her different colored socks. Ripping them off as well, he threw them behind him, the human feet were similar to his own Yaujta race, but human feet were smaller, instead of claws, they usually had circular or square like short nails that if cut, could take weeks to grow back a single inch! Humans from head to toe, were truly a weak specimen. He spoke softly to himself with a chuckle, "Layers, layers, you humans always have layers on."

"What are you doing!"

Was he going to take all her clothes off?!

"I'm answering you, female. Did you not question me about the reason you are here?"

He was so disgusting looking! The little tube like hair were scattered around his head.

This is what Miller meant by 'serving' her country?

"Prepare yourself, female." At last, he let her go. Something else caught his eye, her gold necklace.

"For what?"

"To pick your master." He stated, reaching for the small thing with his meaty hands, she drew in a sharp breath. His hand stopped mid air, he was worried that he would hurt the human with his talons; if he did, it wouldn't end well for him, he needed her to be untouched.

Making up his mind, he retreated his hand. He needed to remind himself annually how sensitive they were. How could such a thing as a human survive?

"Pick what!" She rubbed her sore wrist.

"That is why you were brought here. My job, as your translator, is to do what I'm told, you will pick a yaujta," he tilted his head as she had a blank expression on her face, "Be wise. Your choice will determine your faith."

Yaujta?

He spun around, his ring covered hair was lifted off his wide shoulders, "Rise human, you are expected soon."

She was taken to choice an alien?

For what!

She stood still, "H-How do I know which one to choice!" Her lack of controlled caused her to stutter.

A rumbling sound came from his mouth, she suspected it of being a laugh, "Pick the one that has the strongest urge to kill you."

Her eyes seemed to pop from her head.

"The mad ones are the most intelligent and strong." He explained.

"How does being mad make them fucking intelligent!"

"It shows they don't fancy your kind. Which shows that they have been on countless hunts, which proves they are true yaujtas."

Her heart became a machine gun.

His head turned to look at her, "Get up, mih-ken-nah." His tone was intimating.

McKenna's teeth chattered as she jumped off the table, the steamy air flew in all directions as she distributed it from its peace. She couldn't see her feet anyone, the ground was cold against her bare feet.

On the ground, she could really see how much bigger the alien was compared to her.

What ever happens, she just pried that she could live for another day.
