This is my first DBZ fic. I've never seen the Trunks saga or the android saga so Juunana-gou may be a little OOC. It was originally a songfic to "Everywhere" by Michelle Branch, but I have since changed it.
Wash the Pain Away
Pan sat under a tree at her special spot. Tears ran down her cheeks unchecked. 'How could he do this to do me,' Pan thought numbly oblivious to the rain falling around her. Just moments before, she had caught Trunks, her boyfriend, kissing Marron. 'And I thought he loved me!' Pan thought trying to hold back a sob.
Unknown to Pan was the fact that behind her, well hidden in a clump of trees, was a man who loved. Had loved her since he had first seen her three years ago when she was fourteen. He had never told her for fear of being for fear of being rejected.
The man stepped forward, his feet making no sound as he moved with catlike grace. "Pan," he said softly as he knelt down in front of her and wiped away the tears on her face. Her dark blue eyes looked up and met with his ice blue eyes. "Juunana-gou," Pan breathed softly.
Pan's breath caught as Juunana's hand cupped her chin. His fingers lightly traced her lips. As Pan looked into his eyes she realized that she was not longer alone. Juunana lowered his head and lightly pressed his lips to hers. For a moment Pan started to move away, then deciding against it, she returned the kiss.
As they pulled apart Pan realized suddenly that she had never truly loved Trunks. She opened eyes she did not remember closing to see Juunana's ice blue eyes looking back at her. In a moment of panic Pan was afraid that none of this was real. She reached up hesitantly and gently touched his cheek. He smiled at her, a real smile. Pan could not remember ever seeing him smile before.
Juunana covered Pan's hand with his own larger one. He looked into her deep blue eyes that shone with love. He had always loved her eyes, so full of life. She was his light and always had been and would always be.
Pan looked into Juunana's ice blue eyes that contrasted sharply with her own. His eyes looked like ice, ice that had covered his heart for so long that he had nearly forgotten to love and caused him to rarely show his emotions. But today his eyes showed clearly in his loved filled eyes. Pan promised to herself to always try to bring light to those often sad eyes.
Pan leaned forward and caught Juunana's lips with her own. He ran his tongue over her lips asking for permission to deepen the kiss. She gave it willingly. When they began to feel a need to breathe they broke the kiss. There was no need for words as each knew what was in the others' heart. Pan moved closer to Juunana and leaned her head onto his shoulder. His arm sneaked around her waist.
As the two leaned closer for another kiss, a rainbow broke through the rainy sky. The rainbow appeared to bring a promise. A promise of hope, true love, and new beginnings. The pair truly seemed to have washed away the pain.
