Hermione Granger was as usual busy burying herself into a book. It was another cold December day in Hogwarts. Students were racing to go outside to ice skate and have snowball fights.

"Hermione!" a voice distracted her from reading her beloved book. She saw Harry's green eyes looking at her.

"Yes Harry? Do you need something?" Hermione asked nicely.

"Come on Hermione! It's a beautiful day outside… Come with us! We can ice skate all day long!" Harry said and beckoned Hermione to follow him outside.

Hermione picked up her books and followed Harry outside.

OUTSIDE…..

Hermione was again feeling left out with her friends. Ever since Harry and Ron got themselves girlfriends, Hermione was like the 5th wheel when she was with them. Harry was routinely snogging Ginny to the next century and Ron was too busy cuddling with Pansy to notice that Hermione existed.

"Bored?" a voice drawled from behind.

Hermione looked back and saw Draco Malfoy looking at her.

"As matter of fact, yes and that concerns you why?" Hermione questioned Draco.

"Well ever since Pansy started going out with Weasley, I have no one to hang out with." Draco said. Ever since the demise of the Dark Lord, most of Draco's "friends" died. He only had Pansy by his side. They were the only ones who had the guts to defy their parents and join the Light side.

"What? The great Draco Malfoy has no one to hang out with? What happened to your fan girls?" Hermione asked

"I meant a friend. Not someone who would drool over me." Draco said.

Hermione giggled and playfully slapped Draco at the back.

"Ow! Well that hurt Granger!" Draco joked.

Hermione and Draco suddenly became quiet and appeared to be thinking about something.

"OH! I have a marvelous idea!" Hermione said.

"What is that o great one?" Draco asked playfully.

Hermione looked at him and raised her perfectly curved eyebrow. Draco looked sheepishly at her and smiled.

" Well I think that because right now we don't have special someones in our lives, we should play a game"

"And that game will be?"

"Let's be boyfriend and girlfriend for 30 days!"

"What?"

"You heard me!"

"Well I guess you just couldn't resist my charm..."

"Yeah Right Malfoy!"

" And what doI get from this?"

"I don't know. The companionship that you lack and maybe some fun in your life?"

" Well..."

"Why? Is Drakey afraid of a little challenge?"

" Oh Please."

" I think you are..."

"Well you're on!"

" Okay! Let's start tomorrow!" Hermione said.

They parted with the thought of the game in thier minds.

Author's Note: Anyways, I decided to make this a novel length fic foe all those who requested. I am going to make this as mushy as possible (hehehehe). Hope you like it. Please review... :)
