Chapter 3
Back at his mansion in California, Stark was tinkering with some tech.
"Alright, FRIDAY. We're gonna do a test run." Stark said. "Pop up the Mark 88 please."
"Yes, boss." FRIDAY said.
A new black and gold Iron-Man Armor came out of it's hatch. Stark stepped in as the suit reformed itself around him. Then Stark flew outside his mansion.
"FRIDAY, begin flight test." Stark said
A set of glowing rings appeared. Stark zoomed through each of the rings as the timer counted down from 10 minutes. Stark had finished in 3 minutes and 10 seconds. Next up was the shooting range.
The holograms fired at him with their guns but Stark blocked the gunfire with his energy shield before he fired his repulsor rays, each one hitting it's mark. Finally, the crash-course was up. Stark programmed a battering ram robot to hit his suit and the impact sent him flying into a wall. The wall was smashed and Stark's suit was dented.
"Okay, need to upgrade to a stronger material." Stark said. "No problem."
"I've got something." FRIDAY said. "Aldrich Killian's hosting his opening ceremony in AIM Tower." "Killian? That guy from the Switzerland party?"
Stark asked. "Yeah." FRIDAY replied.
"And it looks like his company AIM is doing some bio-tech. It's an Extremis serum." "What does it do?" Stark asked.
"I think it heals the body or something." FRIDAY replied.
"So it's healing medicine. Okay." Stark said.
"It could also regrow limbs." FRIDAY added.
"Regrow limbs? That's new." Stark replied
. "Okay, I'll go there. When's the ceremony?
" "In New York time, it's going to be around 6:00, tonight." FRIDAY said.
"Well, looks like we're gonna visit an old friend." Stark said.
"Tell Pepper-" "Already did." FRIDAY replied. "Good, we're all set." Stark said.
He was interested in that new Extremis serum Killian had made. But he was a little nervous at the same time after what happened last time when he'd met Killian in Switzerland.
