Iron-Man: The Extreme Battle

Genius billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Iron-Man), is having the time of his life at his penthouse in California. But a new threat comes in the form of A.I.M, led by Aldrich Killian, who plans to release a deadly virus upon the world. To make matters worse, Roxxon Corporation is trying to steal Arc Reactors from him at the same time. Will Iron-Man survive or fall to his foes?

7. Chapter 7

Chapter 7

At Manhattan, Killian and his Extremis soldiers were about to launch the Extremis canister from a machine at the roof of an AIM lab. Then Iron-Man and Spider-Man swung into action.

"You're too late." Killian said. "Once I launch this baby we're gonna change the world."

"Yeah, by killing everyone on it with a virus."

Iron-Man replied. Killian nodded to his Extremis soldiers and they attacked. Iron-Man blasted Extremis soldiers with his repulsors as Spider-Man knocked them out with his fists. The two Avengers were fighting their hardest but they were losing as Extremis soldiers closed in all around them. Iron-Man almost got singed by Killian's fire breath but he ducked and uppercut Killian in the face.

That hardly mattered as Killian sent Iron-Man sprawling with a fire punch. Spider-Man helped up Iron-Man but Killian's henchmen were cornering them. Suddenly, machine gun fire rained down and knocked down some Extremis soldiers. War Machine flew in with Captain America riding on him.

"Awesome entrance!" Spider-Man said.

Cap rolled off War Machine and shield-bashed Extremis soldiers in the face.

"You came." Iron-Man said as he stunned an Extremis soldier.

"Apparently just in the nick of time." Cap replied.

"Couple minutes wouldn't have been so bad, too." Iron-Man said.

"Well, what can you do?" Cap said.

"Nothing to do but keep shooting the fire dudes." War Machine said as he took out several Extremis soldiers with his missiles.

"Okay, you three handle the fire guys, I'll fight Killian."

Iron-Man said. He flew off until he found Killian next to the machine. "Well here we are, on the roof." Killian snarled.

"You still pissed off about the Switzerland thing?"

Iron-Man asked. "How can I? You gave me the best gift anyone can have. Power. And I like power. It makes me happy." Killian replied.

Then the two of them began fighting. Killian and Iron-Man exchanged shots as they punched and kicked at each other. But every punch Iron-Man threw was blocked, every shot countered. Killian's fire breath was engulfing Iron-Man's suit in smoke and flame but Iron-Man still kept fighting. He had to win. And he didn't want to think of what would happen if he didn't. Suddenly, Killian sent a huge fire blast which knocked over Iron-Man.

"You're not Iron-Man. You're just a man in a tin can." Killian taunted.

"Wait, wait, wait! Okay, you're right, I'm not Iron-Man." Iron-Man replied. "But I'm Stark. And this is what you get when you mess with him." With that, Iron-Man blasted Killian with his upgraded Unibeam. Killian tried to absorb the energy but it was too much and the combined firepower and the Extremis serum overloaded his body. Killian exploded in a massive fireball which Iron-Man only escaped by flying away. The Extremis soldiers had also been defeated by his friends. Iron-Man had won. The city was saved.

Epilogue

In a huge crater somewhere, SHIELD agents pulled up and saw a giant hammer. In the back, Phil Coulson pulled out his phone. "Mr Fury, we've found it." Phil said.

And that's the end of the story! That epilogue was a set up for Thor because I'm planning to do one about him but that's for a later time. Until then, hope you liked it and peace out!
