"Mom? Dad? Dan-nnnnnnnnny" Jazz's arms waved up in the air, grabbing onto the nearest wall as she lost her balance. She looked down, gasping at the lab floor, covered in a thick layer of ice. Looking up, she let out a huff of air. "Danny," she growled, watching as her brother light up in blue around her parents and a giant fluffy snow ghost with an ice arm. No one noticed her entrance.
"Very good Great One," Frostbite encouraged. "You've gotten the hang of reaching into your core and letting out this power all at once. Now, try and concentrate it a little more."
"Wait! WAIT!" Jack yelled, grabbing the Fenton Camera. "We're going to need to record this for research."
Maddie sighed, locking eyes with her son apprehensively. "You sure about this Sweetie? Feeling up to it?" Danny nodded earnestly.
"Alright son, give it a whirl!"
Jazz watched as her brother's eyes turned an electric blue - wilder than his human eyes - concentrating on a large snowball in his hands. He raised it up to his chest, making it glow and contract. She managed to skate haphazardly toward them in the lab, eying her brother warily as an ice mallet appeared. "Huh," she said proudly. "That's pretty good."
Her voice seemed to startle him, Danny suddenly dropping the mallet in front of Frostbite. "Jazz," he whined, shooting his sister a frustrated look. "I almost had that!"
"Uh huh," she replied dismissively. She raised an eyebrow at him and put a hand on her hip. "What you did do is make an ice rink in our basement, dropped the house like 20 degrees and froze the driveway. Outside."
Danny exchanged looks confused looks with his parents. "You need to go to the library…don't you?" Danny asked flatly.
Jazz glared. "Yes."
