Chapter 20: Something Shakin in Great Lakes City

On Saturday, Lincoln was doing his morning jog with Peter and Lynn Jr. Originally, it was just going to be both student and mentor, but the sporty tomboy wanted to join in. The three jog across the town.

"Come on, you two! You're supposed to catch up!" Lynn Jr mockingly stated as she was ahead of them.

"Is she always like that?" Peter asked Lincoln with sweat on his forehead.

"You'll get used to it," Lincoln said back, not even rolling his eyes.

The jog took about forty-five minutes; the three took a break outside of Flip's Food & Fool. Since Lynn made it before the two, she required both Peter and Lincoln to pay for breakfast.

"You alright, Lincoln?" Peter glanced at the white haired boy; Lincoln was slowly munching on his bacon and cheese burrito with a gloomy expression.

"Sorry Peter, I was thinking about that night on Wednesday," Lincoln admitted. Lynn looked at her brother as she was munching chicken and beans burrito. Peter frowned lightly in understanding what his student had experienced.

"Wanna talk about it?" Peter asked. When Lincoln told Peter what happened at the festival Wednesday night, Peter quickly alerted Tony, who then told the rest of the Avengers.

"A Hydra operative was living in this city, and nobody knew," Lincoln said to himself with a deep sigh.

"Nobody knew, bro. The world thought they were either in jail or already dead," Lynn Jr spoke with reassurance. "Hey Peter, what did Nick say about this?"

"Since S.H.I.E.L.D have been exposed as a terrorist organization, Nick and the team have been searching through Stark's satellites for the last remaining Hydra members. He's mad that there was a spy in the town undetected," Peter explained what he learned from the Director of the former organization that Hydra had corrupted.

"What do they say about the dead guy?" Lynn Jr asked about the Hydra spy.

"Mr. Fury sent Ms. Hill and her team to retrieve the body from the local morgue. They did an autopsy on the guy. Nothing. Not one clue can tell who sent him," Peter answered, slipping his apple juice.

"Aren't there any top Hydra operatives who were involved with Project Insight?" Lincoln asked about the project Hydra was involved in.

"Nope," Peter shakes his head with a frown. He was munching on his bacon and egg burrito. "The only top high ranking Hydra members were Alexander Pierce and Wolfgang von Strucker, and both of them are dead. Whoever sent that spy has to be somebody who fled after S.H.I.E.L.D was shut down."

"I can't imagine somebody in town was secretly a Hydra spy and is watching us. Who knows? They could be doing it right now," Lincoln remarked, narrowing his eyes in front of him. Lynn Jr punched him on the shoulder with a soft glare.

"Don't joke about that, Sinkcon. Last thing you want is to deal with the great-great grandchild of the Red Skull," Lynn Jr shuddered.

"Oh god, I can't imagine," Peter also shuddered, it made him burp. Lincoln got a chill in his spine as well. "But it's not possible. Captain America saw Red Skull obliterated with the Tesseract Loki later used to invade New York. It can't be possible for Hydra to have obtained his DNA before he died." Peter spoke to the two Loud siblings about what had happened with the Red Skull in his last fight with Captain America back in World War II.

"This is Hydra; the Avengers had been dealing with them since World War II. They know one step ahead of them," Lincoln pointed out. Lincoln, as an avant comic book fanatic, knows that in every terrorist organization, members who are very close to their leader always have a backup plan in case said leader has been taken down. One of which is obtaining the leader's DNA or bringing its dead body back to put it under suspended animation till the time is right. And just like what happened with S.H.I.E.L.D, members are often sent to pose as government workers to take over the world in secret.

"How about those people that are in jail for the conspiracy? Have Nick talked to them?" Lynn asked, bringing up the people in S.H.I.E.L.D that were Hydra operatives.

"Nick talked to either of them; they don't know about the spy," Peter answered, much to the tomboy's annoyance.

"If we're dealing with a mastermind, it's gotta be someone that wants to raise Hydra from its downfall," Lincoln guessed.

"Can you remember what that guy said, Lincoln?" Peter asked, even though his student had told him about the caller.

"This caller said they were waiting for me. Like they're interested," Lincoln drank more of his orange juice. His eyes widen when he thinks of a thought. "You don't think Hydra is recreating the-"

"Lincoln!" Peter hisses through his teeth. His head nudged Flip who was inside the store sweeping, not caring about the conversation the three were talking about. He softened his tone and whispered, "Sorry. You gotta be careful with your words; like you said, you don't know who's listening. As for your question, all of the documents are gone. That goes for you, Lynn. Need to keep that information within you. Nobody can't know about it."

Lynn Jr nodded her head; given how aggressive she may be, she knows about secrets The Avengers had dealt with before. Lincoln also nodded his head. As an Avenger, he has to keep top secrets from anyone from the public to know, especially when he's dealing with Hydra who is under the radar.

"Let's finish up," Peter had finished his meal and threw the foil in the trash and empty drink. Both Loud siblings resume eating what's left of their meal.

There are only a few days left in July. Lincoln had continued his role as Royal Woods's savior. There haven't been missions for Lincoln to go to sent by the Avengers. Though he talks to them, when they're not busy. After finding out that a Hydra spy almost tried to assassinate someone to get Hercules' attention, the Avengers would rather let their second youngest member in protecting the town than being away on a mission where a future attack might happen. Lincoln understood his supervisors; his town was under his watch. He swore it.

And that's why he's dealing with his next mission in town.

Hercules crouched down to look at a gang who was standing in the middle of an empty road. The young hero couldn't concentrate with Lisa's drone hovering next to him.

"Lisa!" Hercules hisses at the drone to not alert the gang. "Go somewhere else, like viewing the crime scene!"

"Sorry, Lincoln; Lana was hogging the controls. Give it to me!"

"But I wanna play with it!"

Hercules resists the urge to facepalm at the sister's squabble. He heard an eighteen wheel truck coming in.

"Lisa, Lana be quiet!" Hercules cried. The drone flew to another direction to get a closer view of the crime in progress.

An overweight man with a grey bear wearing a businessman suit ponders at the back of the truck. One of his associates opened the back. Several men went inside to take out crates. The overweight boss opens the crate with a crowbar.

"Ahhh!" He exclaimed with glee. "Wonderful!"

Hercules pressed his ear radio to hear Lisa what the drone had seen. "We got weapons. All of them came from overseas."

"I don't know how you did it, but who am I to question you?" The man continued to eye the long range missile launcher.

"It wasn't tough. Had to grab the shipping schedule to find the nearest truck that was close to where you were," The driver spoke with a casical smile.

"You did well, Cal," The overweight man stated, patting him on the back. The rest of his men unload the rest of the cargo. "We'll dismember all the weapons and rebuild them as more dangerous and indestructible as ever."

"It's now or never, Lincoln. And I do wish you would hurry."

With a nod, Hercules jumped to flip his body to kick the driver; the driver got hit at the trailer and was knocked unconscious.

"You!" The overweight boss cried loudly. The rest of the men were alerted as soon as they saw their boss was punched in his belly by a quick punch. All of them took out their respective weapons against the hero; Hercules charges at one criminal armed with a rifle. The rifle was slapped away as Hercules slammed an open face attack at the man's face, breaking his nose.

Hercules rolled over to avoid the gun shots. He ran to the truck to rip out the door to act as a shield. He gripped his temporary shield against the bullets. He charges full speed to slam the door against three criminals at the same time. A flamestorm erupted above his cloak-covered head. The last criminal was wearing a modern military state-of-the-art flamethrower.

"Let's see if you can survive fire, brat!" The last criminal shouted, aiming both of his gauntlets at the target. Hercules jumps back from the two fires unleashed from the two gauntlets. Hercules dodge the fire as the criminal moves his arms to spread the fires.

Hercules jumped on the hood of the truck and ran to the trailer before sliding off to the ground. Hercules ran around the criminal to deliver a quick right hook on his face, making him dizzy. He sent a punch to his gut. He grabs the criminal's left arm to forcefully rip the gauntlet. The tubes connecting to it were leaking gasoline. The criminal was then shoveled against the trailer; the backpack tank was damaged after being hit. Hercules grabs the man's head to slam him against the trailer, rendering him unconscious.

"Excellent work, Lincoln, though I wish you hadn't popped an important invention," Lisa congratulated her brother on his mission and reminded him of destroying a valuable weapon to defeat the criminal.

"They can rebuild it," Lincoln shrugged. The drone hovers above the hero.

"Now to your next mission. Go to the nearest block at seventeen miles to your right and wait for us. Leni had packed your clothes."

"Thanks," Hercules gave the drone a thumbs up and ran quickly to go where Lisa wanted him to be. His next mission was very important not just to him, but to the family.

Lincoln had his eyes shut tightly.

"Hold still!" Lola shouted as she was working on his hair.

"My hair isn't that messy! I had my face covered with a cloak!" Lincoln complained.

"But you nearly got it burned off!" Leni said, touching her little brother's white hair. She was looking for any burn marks on it in worry.

"Besides, we gotta hide all the evidence before we go to the Mercado," Lynn Sr said. The family were in Vanzilla; it was the day of the party for Lori before she went to Fairway University. Lori had invited her friends, same thing with Leni inviting her co-workers. Lincoln was in his usual casual outfit.

"There, that should do it," Lola said, putting down the hairbrush. "Now for one more thing," She took out a hairspray and sprayed it around Lincoln's white hair. "All better, Linky!"

"Thanks, Lola," Lincoln replied. He looked at the window from the passing cars on the road.

"Calm your worries, Lincoln," Lucy said next to him. "It's only for the day."

"I can't help but worry, Lucy. Who knows what-"

"Can't we not talk about Hydra and who's coming to get you for one day, dude?" Luna said from the back, with mild annoyance in her face. She was currently listening to her music.

"Talk about being a Hydrachondriac. Ha, ha, ha. Get it?" Luan jokes.

"Don't joke about that, Luan. Last thing we want is people being scared of Hydra if this comes out, or when the second coming of the Red Skull rises," Lynn Jr spoke with a scolding to the comedian.

"And we wouldn't want to scare Bobby or the rest of the Casagrandes. Not one word about what happened Wednesday night. Understood?" Rita gave the rest of her kids a firm look.

"Mom, it's us. We can keep a secret, right Lola?" Lana said with honesty in her tone and teasingly nudged Lola in the arm. The princess diva rolled her eyes at what her tomboy twin was assuming.

"And Lincoln, try to be careful when we get to Great Lake Cities. I know you still have a job as a hero, but don't make a habit of going out and coming back with marks," Lynn Sr added to what his wife was also thinking.

"Got it, dad," Lincoln gave him a thumbs up. While he agrees he wouldn't be going out all the time whenever a crime is happening, the thought of someone from Hydra still floats in his mind like a fish in a tank. Anything can happen if Lincoln were to let his guard down, and a spy hurts anyone to get his attention like the previous. All he hoped for is that nothing bad could happen at the party his family was going to.

If only that was it.

At the Casagrande Marcado, the extended family of the Santiagos were preparing for the party of Lori Loud going away. Rosa was cooking the meals with the help of Maria, Carlos and Arturo. Frida and Carlotta were preparing the decorations and setting the chairs on top of the roof of the apartment. Bobby has taken a shower and is dressing up for his girlfriend. C.J, Carl, Carlitos and Ronnie Anne were helping their grandfather in getting customers to pick something and leave quickly.

"Come on, people. Get in line and be out of the door!" C.J spoke firmly as he clapped his hands. Hector and Ronnie Anne were both behind the counter to scan each customer's items and hand them back in a bag.

"Either buy something or wait in line like the rest; we don't have all day!" Carl shouted, eyeing on a few customers staring at one item with an indifferent look. "I see you! Look at it, you're buying it!"

"Rawk! You hear Mister Choo-Choo Undies Boy! See something, get it and get out!" Serigo cried above the customers, ignoring the look on Carl's face. Lalo was barking to scare them into making their choices clear without a second though, with Carlitos riding on the dog.

Hector and Ronnie Anne had finished scanning the items for the last customer. The customer was out of the door. C.J closed the door and flipped the closed sign.

"Finally!" Ronnie Anne exclaimed, whipping a nonexistence sweat from her forehead. She blinked her eyes at the knock on the door before seeing the Loud family outside. "They're here!"

"Lori! My angel!" Carl expresses with joy of seeing her favorite blond haired goddess here. Before he can introduce himself, C.J grabs him by the arm.

"We gotta tell Grandma and mom they're here!" He said, dragging the struggling little boy out of the store.

"Welcome, Loud family!" Hector expresses in seeing the family from Royal Woods and the girlfriend of his grandson he grew to love.

"Hi Hector!" Lynn Sr and Rita both greeted the man.

"What's up, Lincoln?" Ronnie Anne smirked, which Lincoln smiled back. Both of them fistbump.

"Hey, Ronnie Anne."

"Hi Hector," Lori said, hugging the old man. "Is Bobby ready?"

"He should be ready. The whole family is up on the roof."

"Perfect! L. J, Lana, Lincoln, help me in getting the food up," Lynn Sr ordered his kids.

"You gotta it, dad," Lynn Jr spoke. She, along with Lana and Lincoln, went outside to unload their father's food. The rest of the family followed Hector and Ronnie Anne upstairs with Serigo and Lalo behind them.

"Cheers!" Everyone all shouted in unison after raising their cups in the air.

"This is such a wonderful day! In a few weeks, my daughter Lori will go to Fairway University! Let's give Miss Lori Marie Loud a round of applause!" Lynn Sr yelled, and everyone clapped their hands to show admiration toward the eldest Loud sister.

"Thank you," Lori said with a bright grin.

"So college girl, you ready?" Becky said to her friend.

"I've been literally waiting for this for eighteen years," Lori replied.

"You've been waiting to leave since you were a baby?" Leni asked for her eldest statement, getting lots of facepalms on the table.

"Yeesh, now I'm worried about our lives being in the hands of her," Lynn Jr muttered next to Lucy. The sports tomboy was eating some of her dad's lasagna.

"I agree," Lucy replied, the goth was enjoying Rosa's food.

"It's also a wonderful day for our Bobby; he's going to college as well. Give it up for my son!" Arturo said, acknowledging his son's enrollment at a university. Bobby is shown a round of applause from the table. Ronnie Anne gave him a few pat on the back and Maria went to give her son a kiss on the forehead.

"It's so beautiful our kids are going away for college!" Frida sobbed as she took pictures.

"How about you, Lincoln? Are you ready for Middle School?" Sid Chang asked the white haired boy.

"Yup," Lincoln grinned.

"You're not worried about the bigger kids, Lincoln? Middle School is pretty aggressive," Bobby asked, worried Lincoln isn't scared of moving to the next grade by the time summer ends.

"Nah. I'm not worried, Bobby. Compared to jerks like Chandler, it's like handling a tiny dog with several problems of not being a pet," Lincoln joked, drawing some laughs from the table.

"That's my son, faces problems like a champ," Lynn Sr grinned, flexing his right biceps. Rita and several of her daughters rolled their eyes. Ronnie Anne also rolled their eyes and chuckled. Carlitos flexes his little arm, much to his mother's admiration.

"Hey, you heard about what happened back at Royal Woods? A guy shooting at the festival Wednesday Night?" Sammer asked, bringing up the unfortunate event from Wednesday night. It unknowingly causes the Loud family to stop eating.

"I heard of that," Miguel said, his fork poking on his vegan tamales.

"Same here," Becky added. Lori and Leni's friends all chatter about that night and no one was seeing the look of the Loud family.

"What was that about?" Laird said, looking at the family from said town.

"Oh, it was just some random shooter trying to get some attention," Rita passes off with a forceful smile.

"But why at a festival?" Carlota continued asking. The Loud family were less nervous than coming up with an answer without a second thought.

"Crazy guy who was off his meds. Got many problems. Couldn't find a job. Blame society. That man was a loon. He thought shooting people will make him famous," Lynn Jr answered mildly, munching on her food.

"It was scary how that guy took Lucy's friend hostage," Carol remarked.

"Thank god Hercules was there," Lori said, making Lincoln smile a bit.

"What happened to him?" Nikki asked about the shooter.

"The police said he took a cyanide pill when Hercules confronted him in the alley," Sammer answered.

"That's bizarre. He took his own life after making a scene at the festival and threatening to kill Lucy's friend?" Ronnie Anne asked, raising an eyebrow.

"What I tell ya? Crazy guy," Lynn Jr repeated, rolling her ear with a fork to symbolize what she meant.

"Why took a cyanide pill? He could have used the gun on himself," Casey said aloud.

"Perhaps this man didn't want to be taken alive. He might have had some important information," Carlos theorized, drawing some looks from the table.

"Like what? The Illuminati?" Luan jokes, causing laughter among everyone.

"That man might have been a spy. Cyanide pills were used by agents as a last resort if they get caught during an international espionage," Carlos explained clearly, but neither of them aren't convince.

"He didn't look like a spy when he caught me at gunpoint," Lincoln shook his head in what Carlos was saying, but immediately hisses in what he had said.

"What?!" Ronnie Anne asked in alarmed. The Casagrande family and Lori and Leni's friends looked at the boy like he grew a second head in shock.

"You were threatened?!" Maria was aghast.

Lincoln was in trouble. He darts his eyes to see the Loud family giving him frustrated looks in spilling that secret.

"Lori, you didn't tell me about your brother being held at gunpoint!" Bobby yelled at Lori, clearly shocked his girlfriend kept that information to herself.

"I, uh, didn't want Ronnie Anne to be nervous," Lori weakly said.

"I should know! I can take it! Lincoln's my friend!" Ronnie Anne shouted as she yelled at Lori. She was just as angry as Bobby for not being informed of her friend being held at gunpoint before Haiku was taken hostage.

"How did this happen?" Arturo asked the Loud family and Lincoln. Before either of them spoke, Lincoln came up with this answer.

"I separated from my friends to enjoy some time for myself. There, I was confronted by these three bullies. They cornered me and were about to beat me up, till I was saved by that guy. He knocked out those bullies with some sort of flashbomb, and he pointed the gun at me. We were about to leave, but Haiku saw us. I broke away and Haiku and I fled from him," Lincoln answered.

"My god, were you scared?" Frida asked, she was worried how the boy ended up being in a tight situation.

"No. I mean, I was little."

"You poor boy," Rosa said in sympathy, taking the empty plate from him and refilling it before handing it back to him.

"You can survive a bus accident that made you a hero, yet you were scared of getting shot?" Fiona asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's not like Linky's bulletproof!" Lola exclaimed, covering her mouth when Lana elbowed her in the gut and whispering through her teeth, "Cool it!"

"I'm surprised your son saved those people in that accident back in May, Rita, and he suffered no injuries," Hector said. The Casagrandes were told how Lincoln, his younger sisters, his friends and everyone on the school bus were involved in a major accident on the highway. They were shocked that it was the lone white haired boy that saved a few of his friends and the kids in the car, even after surviving death twice.

"It's physically impossible your son survived a car and explosion," Maria acknowledges the fact of Lincoln's nonexistent injuries. She was bewildered, as well as her ex-husband and brother.

"Guess Lincoln has a guardian angel on his side," Sid said, eating her beans.

"Yeah. Guardian angel," Lincoln chuckled nervously.

"No need to be embarrassed, Lincoln. You are lucky to be blessed by a noble act by God," Rosa advised him with a smile.

"There's still a scientific explanation about this. Your son could have ended up with a broken spine from that car. Or third degree burn marks from that explosion," Carlos said, fixing his glasses.

"Yet here you are still standing without any injuries. You're like a hero, though not exactly like El Falco and he's got powers," Carl said with glee and remarking he was without powers.

"And you're buff!" Adelaide complimented, noticing the white haired boy's physical appearances.

"Thanks," Lincoln chuckled, munching on his meal.

"Sure you're buff, but can you handle me and Adelaide whooping your butt on the mat?" Carl declared, preparing to unleash his fighting style he and Sid's little sister had learned.

"Don't count your chickens, Carl. Lincoln can beat you up," C.J said, grinning.

"And he's in excellent physique," Arturo complimented.

"You should see him eat," Luan added as Lincoln finished his second meal. "Dad has served Beef Well-Lincoln five times for him, followed by seventeen mac and cheese balls."

"Wow, he acts a lot like Grandpa!" Ronnie Anne remarked in amazement.

"It's the metabolism of a prebuscenet individual. Since our brother had started maintaining his physical physique, his eating habits have taken a mild effect that require to eat three times as a regular individual," Lisa explained the changes around Lincoln's physique and diet.

"Heh, you're going to get a lot of girls coming after you, Linky," Jackie teases, making Mandee giggle. Lincoln blushes under his face.

"Aw, shucks," He uttered.

"Looks like you got some competition, eh, Ronnie Anne?" Sid teases her friend, which got her to blush as well. The table erupted in laughter. Bobby laughed as he drank his cup, but then his liquid spilled on his dress.

"Oh man!" Bobby complained of his wet shirt.

"Looks like Roberto can't handle his drink. Get it?" Luan jokes. The comedian stopped laughing as soon as her liquid started to shake. More cups were spilled, getting reactions from the table.

"My dress!" Leni and Lola both complained. Then the table started to violently shake, scaring Lalo and Sergio.

"It's an earthquake!" Arutro shouted, rising up from his chair.

"Everyone, head back inside the apartment!" Rosa shouted quickly. The entire party guests march down inside the building. Sid was carrying her little sister. Frida and Carlos held their kids together for protection. The residents inside their apartments were reacting to the loud shake in the hallway. They use the railing to prevent themselves from falling down the stairs.

"Get out of the apartments!" Rosa shouted at the residents. Lynn Jr and Ronnie Anne were banging on the doors for assistance.

Lincoln ran out of the building fast with everyone behind him; they knew from what they were seeing the earthquake was a person who was causing it. It was a young girl around his age. She had light orange hair and grey eyes; her attire is a mechanical suit. The light blue breastplate resembles a tank top, grey shoulder pads, her hands consist of a pair of seismic gloves and combat boots. The girl had both hands on the street; the gloves were ampting underneath to shake everything around her.

"It's that girl! She's doing this!" Lynn Jr pointed at the mastermind. The girl saw another girl pointing at her with a huge amount of people. She smirked as if she had done this to get their attention. Her gloves were shut off, and the earthquake stopped.

"What up, losers?" The orange haired girl insulted the people.

"What's your problem, young lady? You could've gotten everyone killed!" Maria scolded that girl. The orange haired girl looked around to see several people holding their feet up.

"Everyone's ok," She shrugged her shoulders. "Listen, I don't have time to deal with this so I'm cutting this short. The name's Dawn Conagher."

"Ok Dawn. What do you want?" Carlota asked, not understanding the girl's intention in disturbing the party.

"If you don't mind, you're just ruining a party!" Rosa shouted, the look on her face spelled furious.

"Cool it, grandma. I'm just here to do my business until he shows up."

"Who?" Carl asked.

"Hercules, dweeb!"

Lincoln and the rest of the Loud family had their eyes widened. Their minds are now fully aware of who this girl actually is. Another spy from Hydra.

"In case you haven't been watching the news, Hercules lives in Royal Woods!" Nikki mockingly shouted.

"And he was in Italy fighting a giant water beast! I'm going to get his attention! If I were you, I would get out of here cause things are about to get shakin!" Dawn declared with a wild grin. Her gloves activated again and slammed them on the ground. The earthquake was back; everyone went away, only to get knocked out to the ground. Windows were being destroyed and pieces were falling off from stores. Cars parked were dropped into the ground, and unfortunately, Vanzilla was one of them

"My baby!" Lynn Sr shouted in horror. His wife tugged on his shelves to prevent him from going after his van.

"Everyone, run away!" Sid and Adelade both saw their parents fleeing from the building with their pet animals. The citizens ran away to get away from the cracks that were destroying under them.

Lincoln breaks away from the group and into a pet shop, where he exits out to the back door and continues running. Lincoln made it back to the Mercado; Dawn smashed her right powered glove to destroy another store. The white haired boy saw Vanzilla on the colipase hole. He landed on the roof. Lincoln punched his fist through the roof before ripping it to give him an entrance. He quickly spotted his backpack underneath the seat.

Dawn continued smashing to the ground to destroy more; she was being impatient in waiting for the hero. Her boss gave her the mission in fighting the hero from Royal Woods. She glanced at a family being huddled underneath a Chinese restaurant. Dawn held one hand up with a sadist grin, crackling her fingers in anticipation. She was aiming at the restaurant, preparing to bring it all down.

A throwing tire hit Dawn's hand, canceling her attack. Dawn turns to see Hercules. Dawn growls a little and slams her punch to summon rock spikes. Hercules rolls over behind a damaged car.

"Finally you show up!" Dawn shouted, punching both her hands together.

"Guess you're not here for the party," Hercules quipped, standing on top of the car.

"My boss had told me all about you!" Dawn assumed. She was grinning, this time her opponent is here.

"The last thing I fought a guy wearing a pair of shock gauntlets he made a mess," Hercules spoke, trying to calm his opponent. "What is your problem with destroying a party?"

With no answer back, Dawn slammed both hands together on the street to launch herself at Hercules with her right fist pulled back. Hercules jumped as Dawn slammed the car roof.

"I'm going to guess that you worked for Hydra," Hercules said as Dawn raised her right fist to throw rock spikes at Hercules. Hercules dodge them. "Never thought they stood so low to kidnap a kid your age and raise her to be a soldier for the late Red Skull."

"Ha, somebody's been reading too much on Captain America's history!" Dawn cackled as she hopped on a floating rock she wielded. She charges forward to punch Hercules on the chest. The force sent him sliding across the streets.

Dawn raises both of her hands to summon several pillars; she punches the pillars as projectiles. Hercules backflips and runs forward to hop on a car to increase his momentum. Hercules ran above the projectiles to land at one of the pillars. Dawn yelled, drawing an X across her hands to make the pillar collapse. Hercules jumps to slam his foot at Dawn's face, sending her off her floating rock.

Dawn quickly brought the street up to safely slide her body. Dawn then forced the floating rock her enemy was standing on to her. Hercules got behind Dawn to grab her. The temper grew within the young girl as she gripped both hands to break the entire ground to create a crater. The floating rocks morph together as a giant battery ram above him. The ram is brought down into the hero; when the ram is brought up, Hercules is stuck on the ground. Each time the ram hit Hercules, he sank more on the bottom.

Dawn grinned, and slammed on top of Hercules; another creator was formed with the boy lying on the ground. Dawn slides to the crater to look at the hero.

"What do you know? All it took was a girl wearing a pair of gloves and a suit to defend you," Dawn taunted, lending her head at the unconscious hero. "I thought you had some fight in you," She grabbed the back of his cloak, and then was punched in the bottom of her chin.

Dawn was sent back to the ground; Hercules jumped to land in front of the villain. "And I just punched your pretty face," He gloated.

"Aw, you think I'm pretty?" Dawn teases, spilling blood. "Now I don't wanna take you to my boss."

"And who's your boss? There's not a whole lot of Hydra operatives left in charge. I could call the Avengers, and in five seconds, one of them will be here and put you in a cell," Hercules reminded her of the fall of Hydra and to alert his fellow superpowered comrades from headquarters.

"That organization is still running after what we did to it? Captain America should have destroyed what's left of it, just like Hydra. Guess me and Fury both have the same thought of not letting things go," Dawn chuckled more.

Hercules made the next move in charging at Dawn; Dawn powered both her gloves to smash them on the ground to create a rock wave at him. Hercules jumps above the wave to grab a lamp post.

Dawn turns to see several police cars heading toward the fight. A sinister grin appeared in her face; Dawn moved her left hand to bring the road that caused one police car to ride off to strike Hercules, making the police car land upside down.

"Open fire!" One of the officers shouted. All bullets from Great Lakes City officers immediately fired. Dawn yelled as she slammed her hand on the sidewalk; the earthquake made contact on the gas pipe to trigger an explosion on the store that was next to them.

The passenger door of the car kicked open before Hercules got out. He groaned after the car hit him. Shards of glass were struck on his cloak. He dusted them off. Hercules saw the knock out police officer; he quickly ripped the door to carry the officer to a safe spot. He barely got hit by a rock projectile. Dawn fired a few more at her enemy; Hercules went behind the upside down police car. The car was the only shield to project himself from the rock projectile. Hercules pulled back a fist to punch the roof to send the car like an object fired from a slingshot, only to get stopped by barriers.

"Whoa, she's tough!" Hercules pauses to hear the familiar voice. Turning to his right, he saw Ronnie Anne and Sid watching the scene.

"Fan of yours, Hercules?" Dawn taunted after noticing taking a look at the two girls. She motioned her hand to take care of them. Quickly, Hercules grabs a nearby hotdog cart to throw at Dawn. Hercules then ran to the two girls.

"You girls need to leave!" He shouted with a low voice to not let them recognize him.

"Have you seen a white haired boy in an orange polo?" Ronnie Anne quickly asked the hero of her friend in worry. Hercules can sense the tone in her voice.

"I'll find him! Now go!" Hercules quickly answers, and drags the two girls out to avoid a rock wave. Hercules let them go before fighting Dawn.

Dawn slammed her fist above Hercules; Hercules grabbed it and punched at the suit's chest several times. Hercules doesn't know the blueprints of the suit without Lisa's assistance. The drone was still in Vanzilla that was under the ground. But Hercules points out a few things when fighting Dawn, namely the gloves that can power her earthquake manipulation. The suit she was wearing wasn't strong enough against Hercules' punches. Hercules put both hands up and glared at Dawn.

Dawn's right fist hit another car that caused it to forcefully pull away from them. Hercules punches her in the face again, sending her a step back. Dawn brings both hands up, yelling. A water pipe emerged from the ground to spray on the hero. Hercules slid against the sidewalk groaning.

"Gotcha, Littcules," Dawn taunted with a laugh. She walked to the dazed hero with her gloves powered up. She stands on top of him, getting ready to strike him on the back.

"Dawn, remember the mission," Her boss suddenly stopped her from her ear radio. Dawn huffed in mock annoyance.

"I was joking," Dawn replied.

"Make sure he's in one piece."

"This kid has unbreakable skin. I didn't hurt him that much," Dawn scoffed, crouching down at the hero to pick him up. A rock struck her on the head. Dawn growled at the person who threw it.

"Leave him alone!" Ronnie Anne shouted, throwing another rock at Dawn. Behind her was Sid who was also helping her friend. Dawn raises both hands up to cause the two girls to fall down into a deep hole. Then her ears were suddenly slapped by two hands. Dawn shouted by the ringing as she held both ears.

Hercules punches at the back of her suit several times, putting in dents and injuring her back. Dawn raised her right hand to clutch in desperation; the ground behind Hercules started to crack. He quickly grabs Dawn's right hand and her other hand as the ground breaks, dragging not only the hero but the villain down into the sewer water. Both dive into the water. Hercules got up, and a screaming Dawn popped up to attack him; however, Hercules slammed both fists across Dawn's left side. Hercules drags the villain by his arm to swing her across the wall. Dawn was finally knocked out.

Hercules sighed breathlessly as she was taken down.

"Hercules, you ok?!" He looked up to see Ronnie Anne from above the surface. Hercules gave her a thumbs up in response.

After jumping out of the sewer, Hercules said to the two girls "Thanks for backing me up."

"Anytime. You're not the only one who was cheesed off at her for ruining the party," Ronnie Anne quipped, making the hero laugh a bit.

"Ronnie Anne! Sid!" The three turn to see Bobby, Lori, Leni, Carlota, Luan, Luna, and Lynn Jr rushing to them. Bobby came to hug her little sister.

"Are you and Sid ok, prima?" Carlota asked in worry.

"We're fine, Carlota," Ronnie Anne said, patting her brother's back.

"You scare us by running away when Lincoln wasn't with us!" Bobby cried.

"Everything's ok now, thanks to Hercules," Sid replied to everyone's concerns. Everyone locked eyes on the hero from Royal Woods.

"Thanks for the help, Hercules," Bobby smiled, shaking hands with the hero.

"It's my job," Hercules said, and Carlota hugged his side with her phone up and snapped a picture.

"My fans are going to love this!" She squeals in joy. Lynn Jr leaned down to see the girl that attacked Great Lakes City, only to gasp.

"She's gone!" She shouted. Hercules pulls away from Carlota to see the sewer where Dawn is at to confirm what Lynn Jr meant.

"Dang it," He muttered under his hidden face.

Dawn made it out of the sewer after walking for 19 minutes. She grumbled in dismay of her failed mission. Hercules had underestimated her, even with a suit and a pair of weaponized gloves given by her boss.

Now she's going to get it.

"You could have taken him out."

Dawn closes her eyes in a quick flinch before pressing her ear radio. "I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again," She said with a groan.

"But you were wonderful. You're the first agent I sent to fight an Avenger who is your age."

"Thanks," Dawn suddenly smirks. She sat down on the water.

"Report back. I'll look over the footage your suit had recorded during your fight with Hercules."

"You got it."

"Aren't you forgetting something?"

A tired sigh escaped from her. "Hail Hydra," She uttered.

"Good. I was worried all those lessons the organization taught you were a waste. I'll see you back."

Dawn then walks away with a frown on her face. Her first mission, and she was defeated by that snot nosed brat from Royal Woods. But he won that round. Once her boss sees what Hercules is capable of, the next round will be her.

"Just you wait, Littcules," Dawn swore with a sadist grin.

The OC character that was introduced in the story was an idea by ThePaperWriter, who wrote White Raptor. I read his story, and it's good. You should all read it. Thank you for the idea, ThePaperWriter. Lincoln had fought another Hydra agent, Dawn Conagher. Hydra is really after Lincoln they send a child to take him out. It was suppose to be Vulture that Lincoln face in this chapter, but when he gave me the idea of the next Hydra agent, I was on board. Plus, I didn't know how to introduce Vulture in this chapter and how is Hercules is suppose to fight him. Tell me what you think of the chapter. I'll see you all later; NiteOwl18 out.
