CHAPTER FOUR: TRIPPY TRIP

"Monsters, demons, creatures of the night. These are the one of many words given to the creatures we know as Grimms." An old man lectured. He appears to be a middle-aged man, possibly in his mid-fifties. He wears a double-breasted burgundy suit with gold piping and buttons. His pants he wears tucked into olive boots, similar in appearance and construction to cavalry boots. He has gray hair and a gray mustache, bushy eyebrows, and appears to be slightly overweight. "But I merely prefer to them as 'prey'." He joked.

Jaune bit back a groan as he looked about with half lidded eyes. 'You wouldn't call them prey if you were surrounded by them.' He thought.

The older man coughed a bit and cleared his throat. "Thank you for coming in to this prestigious huntsman academy. My name is Peter Porter and I teach Grimm Studies." He then raised a finger. "Allow me to recall my first mission when I was a youth in my prime. I was armed with a spatula that I was making breakfast and a pair of chopsticks. Haha. That was when I met Beringel for the first time."

But he couldn't in all honesty focus on the human man's words. 'To think that Amber's trapped here.'

Flashback

Jaune opened his eyes to the familiar plane that he talks to Amber. "Amber?"

"Y-You're back?!" Amber's voice sounded surprised and shocked, her glowing brown eyes shining with hope. "I…I thought I would never talk with anyone again."

Jaune nodded. "I think I got the hang of it. Now I need to try and get in contact with you while I'm awake." He hummed.

"It would be best not to that." Amber advised.

"I could handle it." Jaune grinned. "I know this is a dumb question, but how are you doing?"

"I'm okay." Amber muttered, her eyes looking down. "I wish I know where I am." Her eyes locked to his. "I know I'm alive, that is certain. But my body is irresponsive."

"But your mind, you soul, isn't." Jaune hummed. "I'll bring this up with mother Sabbath."

"Can you…tell my parents?" Amber requested.

"I planned to, but had no time due to how many people were around me. I'm also being watched."

"I understand. And thank you, my prince." Amber smiled.

"Just call me Jaune, Amber. I try hard to get the others to address me the same way."

"I'll do what I can." Amber replied.

"I'm going to find you Amber. And I'll set you free." He vowed. "And we'll find the assholes that did this to you. You said they had pink eyes, right?"

"Yes. One was female, the other was male. There were three others with them, one of them had a glove of sorts. I...I only got caught by at a few times and it hurt when I felt something latch on to me, but ignored it due to the adrenaline. I had managed to get away somehow, having used my powers to do so. I finally found a place to hide. And then all of a sudden, I'm here."

"You may have overtaxed yourself with your aura and whatever spells you were casting." He educed.

"That may be. But…" She hesitated.

"What's wrong?"

"The way I was captured. It's if the person that did wanted me to be alive, but still unavailable. Am I…being used as bait?"

"Maybe." Jaune did not mince his words. "But I'm sure that whoever brought you here knows Ozpin."

"Ozpin?" Amber blinked.

"The man in charge. He may know that you're here, but I need to thread carefully." Jaune planned. "I'll see what I can do, maybe find a way to find out where you are."

"That'll be great!" Amber spoke, her eyes going down, bowing to the male. "I'm be eternally grateful if you were to succeed."

"When I succeed." Jaune smiled.

"I look forward to serving you, my prince." Amber spoke with reverence.

Flashback end

He looked to see his partner snoozing away. His childhood friend was sitting straight and listing with 'wrap' attention. His other teammate had her eyes clothes and breathing calmly, either focusing on meditating or taking a power nap.

On the row in front of them, Ruby seemed to be drawing on a piece of paper while Weiss was looking at her with a look of disapproval. Yang was blatantly SLEEPING while Blake was reading her own personal book behind a class book as a cover.

Tock looks to be counting the scales on her arms as Illia's skin was switching between the colors of red and pink. Triffa was quite while Fiona was rather fidgety when the teacher mentioned that he flipped a Beringel like a pancake.

Also Team CRDL was sitting behind him.

They were laughing and being annoying in class.

"Despite his misgivings, my grandfather was a wise man. 'Peter', he told me…"

Ruby snickered as she showed her drawing, a neat art of the professor flipping the Beringel over with an overly large spatula.

Weiss looked away with a huff, hiding the fact that the drawing was rather impressive. 'Don't look back. Don't look back.' She repeated in her mind.

Yang snorted once she caught sight of it and tapped her partner's side.

Blake raised an eyebrow at it and hid her amusement very well.

The spike of positivity that the young man felt was rather good in his book.

Especially when the young Rose made the small farting sound.

Jaune chuckled, earning a small yawn from his partner who decided that it was time to wake up.

Pyrrha giggled at what she saw.

"What did I miss?" The ginger asked.

"Nothing much." Nina replied, opening her eyes.

"Ahem!" Port cleared his throat as he looked around the class. "In the end; a true huntsman must be honorable. A true huntsman must be dependable. A true huntsman must be strategic, well educated, and wise."

"Heard that?" Yang looked to snow haired female. "You need to be a Weiss huntsman."

"I can't believe you used my name as a pun." The SDC heiress blinked at that.

"So." Port raked his eyes over the students. "Who among you believe to be the embodiment of these traits?"

A piece of paper hit the back of Jaune's head and he raised his hand to rub it.

"Ah. Mister Arc." The portly hunter smiled.

"Me?" The young male raised an eyebrow.

"Good show, young man. Let's find out." He went to the door and pulled out a large cage, a demonic squeal was heard from within as it shifted violently. "Step forward and face your opponent."

Jaune stepped out of the changing room, dressed in the same garb as he did during the imitation.

"Bet you he's going to flunk." Cardin snickered with his teammates chuckling along.

"Just like how you flunked when Tock knocked your clock off time?" Yang joked as she raised her fist, said reptilian Faunus smacking her fist against her own.

"That's right, Luv." Tock grinned. "How that jaw of yours, eh?" She tapped her metal dentures.

Cardin just growled as he looked at the mohawk Faunus.

Jaune simply looked at the cage as it rattled a bit less.

"Go Jaune-Jaune!" Nora cheered, seemingly waving a flag with Jaune's hooded face in it.

"How did you get that?" Nina simply asked.

"I made it!" The ginger replied.

"When?" Pyrrha raise an amused eyebrow.

"Doesn't matter!" The N woot.

"Go JNNW!" Ruby cheered.

"Yeah!" Yang raised her fists.

Blake simply waved a small flag with JNNW on it, a chibi face of each of the team members.

Weiss watched the young man.

Tock eyed the male, her animalistic instinct telling her that an Alpha was in her presence.

Fiona's ears fluttered as she eyed the male. She couldn't help about to be scared and admire him at the same time.

Triffa hummed as she wondered how he would deal with whatever Grimm was inside.

Ilia hummed too, wondering what would be in the cafeteria today.

Jaune stood ready, his blade not even drawn.

"Are you ready, Mr. Arc?" The man questioned.

"I am." Jaune nodded, standing still, his hood hiding his face within the shadows.

"Are you certain?" The old man spoke as he went and retrieve his weapon, a blunderbuss crossed with a battle axe.

'Strange weapon.' The youth thought. "I'm sure, professor Port."

"Very well." The man nodded and chopped the lock off with the axe portion of his weapon.

The cage door opens and four eyes glowed from within.

Out stepped the Grimm that was captivated.

Jaune wore an expression, equal to a disappointed child. "You'll have me fight this little Boarbotusk?" He raised an eyebrow.

The Boarbatusk is a quadruped with many features associated with a real-world boar, including cloven-feet, a line of hair sprouting from its spine, snub snout and tusks. The Boarbatusk has four eyes and a bone-like mask that seems to be strapped to its face by a black vein-like organic tether. It has a series of plates along its back and on its thighs, and two extra sets of tusks, including two large curving tusks. However, their underside is comparatively under-protected and vulnerable, with little to no body armor or shielding. It stands at 4½ ft tall.

The Grimm snorted in a malicious manner as it surveyed the classroom. It then noted Jaune and its eyes seemed to have recognized him.

The other students were rather confused at how the boar like Grimm was looking at the hooded teen.

Jaune simply raised his left hand and motioned for the Boarbatusk to come. "Bring it on."

Many of the students blinked in confusion as the Boarbatsusk gaited towards the young man.

"Not what I meant." He sighed as the Boarbatsusk tilted it head to the side.

"That is rather strange?" Peter muttered, very shocked and surprised that his bushy brows raised to his hairlines.

'Ελα (Come). Στο . Μου(Me)!' He mentally commanded the young creature of black dust.

Rage and hate suddenly built up from within the Boarbatusk, a dark aura emitting from it. The Grimm began to grow, much to the shock of the teacher and students. The bones snapped and length, muscles bulging as the spines along the back grew and formed into crescent shaped blade at the a few inches more. A white mane grew from the back of its head as a third pair of eyes sprouted as the mouth grew more sharp teeth. The tusks grew out more, curving like a crown. Most, if not, all of the student fell like they were going to be gored in the most heinous way possible.

STOMP!

Stomping, the now 6ft Grimm squealed in rage and aimed it all to the male before him.

"My word!" Peter held his weapon at the ready. "Mr. Arc. That's-" He began.

"Let me deal with this Razortusk, Professor Port." The male smiled under his hood as he drew his borrowed blade, the fear of the students washing over him, and a grin was hidden under his hood.

The large Grimm rushed forward, Jaune leaping to the side to avoid the tusks.

...

"Is he going to be okay?" Ruby looked at her fellow team leader with understandable worry.

"He'll be fine." Pyrrha spoke with a confident smile.

"Woah." Tock muttered. "Neva saw a Razortusk up close, eh?"

"That is scary." Fiona shivered, small bleet accompanied that.

"You got this, Jauney!" Nora cheered.

"Yeah! Go get 'em, Feather Weight!" Yang added.

...

"By the Brothers." Ozpin muttered in astonishment as he watched Jaune avoid the Razortusk's charges. "I haven't seen a Razortusk in...a while." He muttered. "I'll have to look more into this." He hummed as he accessed his PC.

...

Jaune was trying not to laugh in joy, remembering his childhood when he played with the newly spawned Grimm with his sisters. 'I think I've played enough.' He thought as he Razortusk shook its head after slamming against the sturdy wall for the umpteenth time.

The Grimm snorted and huffed and leaped. Jaune knowing what would happen, rushed forward, the blade drawn, held at the side, and lopped off the front legs.

The Razortusk squeal in pain and fell forward. Jaune then rushed in and slammed the blade into the Grimm's skull, piercing the brain and pinning it to the ground. The Grimm began to break down and Jaune patted its snout. "πέρασα καλά (I had fun)."

The Razortusk seem to have calm down under presence of the male. The eyes dimmed and the body broke away.

"Well done!" Peter clapped. "Great work on dealing with Razortusk, Mr. Arc." The man laughed. "You seem to have experience fighting Grimm, if I do say so myself then."

"Thank you, Professor Port." Jaune shrugged.

...

"That. Was. Amazing!" Nora cheered as she was hanging off of Jaune's back. "You were like; 'Woosh'! And the Razor's like 'Squeel! I'll get you!'"

Nina hummed. "I believe if we stay around you too long, we'll be facing Grimm of higher caliber."

"I'll say." Yang snorted. "The Wendigo we fought wasn't enough."

"Hold a tick." Tock paused, her teammates looking at RWBY and JNNW with shock. "You fought a Wendigo?" At their nod, she ran her hand through her mohawk. "Bloody 'ell." She muttered.

"It wasn't that bad." Nora waved her hands.

"It smelt like a decomposing corpse." Blake deadpanned.

"Ugh." Ilia shuddered at the thought. "That's disgusting. I don't think I would have handled that." She confessed.

GROWL!

The three teams stopped and Ruby blushed.

"I...think I'm hungry?" Silver eyes looked among them.

Jaune chuckled at that. "I think we should eat something." He nodded.

...

"This is amazing." Weiss spoke in a shocked manner. "I never thought I would eat food that was this exquisite."

"Kinda rubbing in the fact that you have your own brand of ice, Weiss?" Yang grinned.

"That…wasn't funny." Nina muttered.

"I get it." Fiona spoke, eating some fresh salad.

"But you're not laughing." The golden tipped blonde female pouted.

"I said I get it, but it wasn't really funny." The sheep Faunus spoke softly.

"Don't worry, luv." Tock perked. "I'm sure someone will get it someday."

The Xiao Long groaned. "Everyone's a critic." She muttered.

"Pyrrha?" A male voice called in surprise.

Pyrrha blinked, recognized the voice, and then groaned. "By the Brothers why is he here?" She muttered.

Jaune picked up on the annoyance wafting off from his childhood friend and the three teams, minus Pyrrha, looked to where the voice came from.

"Oh Gods, it is you." The male wearing a Beacon Academy uniform spoke in an excited tone as he approached the redhead and the group. He has long blue hair that leads to his mid back and dark pale blue eyes. He stands at 6ft 9". "It's really good to see you again."

"Friend of yours?" Yang asked.

"Never would be even if he tried." Pyrrha muttered. "That's Venias Ardette. He's the runner up of the Mistral champion after me."

"A pleasure to meet you all." The now named Venias bowed and gave a wink at the girls. "Leader of Team VOUZ."

"Ruby Rose. Leader of Team RWBY." The young Rose introduced herself

"Tock Tiks. Leader of TITE." The reptilian Faunus grinned.

"Charmed." Venias grinned. "When I heard that you were a student here, I had to finish my mission ASAP." He focused on Pyrrha.

"I'm brimming with excitement." Pyrrha sighed. "What do you want?"

"Awe don't be like that." The male groaned. "We should get along, from one leader to the next."

Pyrrha hid a grin. "Actually, Jaune's the leader." She thumbed to her friend.

Venias then noticed Jaune as he was sitting right beside the champion. "Is that so?" He eyed the male with a raised brow.

"You seemed to be troubled, Pyrrha." Jaune simply spoke, outright ignoring the human male's existence. "If you want we can have a walk around the campus again."

"I'd like that." Pyrrha smiled brightly.

"How can you talk so casually to her like that." Venias grunted.

Jaune leaned back on his seat and gave a small smile. "Because I can."

"I don't like that smug look of yours." The male snorted.

"And I already don't like your first impression." Jaune spoke back.

"Venias." A male called as he approached them. He wears a Beacon uniform. He has long black hair with a braided blue dyed streak going over his right shoulder. His eyes are yellow and gives off a sharp appearance as he surveyed the three teams. He stands at 6ft 7". "You need to get ready for the next class."

"Oh hey, Zhao." The runner up grinned. "Pyrrha. This is Zhao Han. He's in my team."

Zhao nodded as he looked around the table until they settled on Nora. "You."

Jaune felt a negative emotion spike once the taller male's eyes were set on his partner.

"What are you doing here, Taboo Child." He scowled.

Nora shivered at the way the taller male looked at her.

Jaune stood up, looking at the other male. "If you're here to cause trouble, I'd suggest that you leave." He warned.

Zhao scoffed. "You'll find out soon enough anyway." The male turned and walked away.

"Hey, Zhao…" The male called out.

"What was that about?" Nina asked placing a hand on her friend's shoulder.

"I…I…It's not my fault." The ginger mumbled. "It…It's not my fault."

"That is one bloody day." Tock muttered.

"Will the Team Leaders come to Team Leading 101." Glynda's voice came from the P.A. "I repeat. Will the Team Leaders come to Team Leading 101."

"Well. Gotta go." Venias waved. "I'll see you around Pyrrha."

Jaune frowned. He didn't want to leave his partner, especially the dark emotions slowly growing from her being. 'This feels too good, but I don't like it.' He thought.

"Go on, Jaune." Pyrrha nodded. "We'll look after her."

Jaune nodded and he gently held his partner's shoulder. "I'll be right back, okay Nor?" He spoke soothingly, allowing his aura to wash over the ginger and calming her.

"O-Okay." Nora nodded, giving a small smile.

"That's good." He smiled and kissed her forehead without thinking.

"Awe~" Ruby gushed.

"Okay, Feather Weight." Yang chuckled. "Go to class before whoever's in charge gives you problems."

"I'm gonna have two of them when I reach anyway." Jaune chuckled as he looked to Tock and Ruby. "Ladies." He bowed his head and motioned for them to go first.

"Such a gentleman." Tock grinned.

"You going to be okay?" Fiona asked the ginger.

"Yeah." Nora smiled. "I…I'll be fine."

The others didn't take her words to heart though.

Pyrrha narrowed her eyes.

...

"Welcome to Team Leading 101." A female spoke. She stood at 7ft 9" tall. She has dull green eyes with dark purple eye shadow over it. Two giraffe horns poking out the top of her head. Her skin has a yellow touch with off-triangular marks. She wears a white sweater over her GG-cup bust and long black skirt along with black office shoes. "Mine name is, Kameel Perd." She motioned to herself. "I'll be your instructor in this course."

"Another animal that can 'teach." Cardin muttered.

"This 'animal', can beat you within an inch of your life, Mr. Winchester." The woman spoke, bouts of small laughter going about. "So I suggest you keep your racist comments to yourself or I'll kick you out regardless of your family name."

"Racist asshole." Ruby muttered with a small scowl on her cute face.

"How someone like him would want to be a huntsman is beyond me." Tock muttered in agreement.

"Why can't we all get along?" Jaune sighed. "Oh yeah. Because we all have different opinion and refuses to open up for others'."

"And that is what a leader should be." Kameel spoke. "A leader is someone who looks out for those under his or her command. One must ensure that said person has the right mindset." The woman added as she turned and wrote on the board. 'WHAT MAKES A GREAT LEADER'. "Now then class." She smiled. "Shall we begin?"

"What do you mean you still can't fine her body?" A man spoke in a gruff tone. He is a tall male Faunus, recognized by his slanted back reddish black horns. He has auburn hair that spikes backward in a windswept way. While most of his hair was red, he had streaks of brown. He wears an asymmetrical black, long-sleeved, double-breasted stylized high-collared blazer with slit sleeves along with red thorn sigils adorned with a white crest that lined up on his left shoulder. His suit jacket has crimson lining atop his red shirt, with red thorn sigils atop a black flap attached to the bottom of the left hem and his wilting rose emblem on the back over an emblazoned white sigil resembling the curved stems and flower of the deadly nightshade plant. His blazer is half-buttoned, exposing a red shirt with a black line running parallel to his collar under it. He wears a mask which obscures his entire upper face above his nose. His mask is whitish-tan with red, Japanese style, horn-like symbols decorating the front and two slits on each side presumably to allow for vision. He wears long black dress pants, black shoes with red soles and black gloves with red sigils resembling the Greek letter Ω (Omega), the last letter in the Greek alphabet. He wears a black belt with white domino marks on it.

"I…I…" A male dog Faunus stuttered. "What I mean, High Leader Adam." The man gulped. "We believe that she may have survived the wound."

The man huffed. "How far did she go?"

"I'm not sure, but the trail ran cold when we arrived at the border of the Emerald Forest."

"Then she's as good as dead with that wound and those negative emotions she harbored then." Adam muttered as he rubbed his gloved hand over his weapon's hilt. "Contact our spies in Vale. Have them on a look out for that bitch and bring words straight to me. It's about time that I send word to Ghira that his 'protégé' was killed by a band of human rouges and named me High Leader in her dying breath." He clicked his tongue. "Go now."

"At once, High Leader." The other Faunus bowed and ran out the tent.

Once Adam was sure that was alone, he went to his table, a small chest on it. With such care, he opened it and pulled out a black ribbon. "Soon, my beloved. Soon we will be together again. And we shall never part."

"Kali?" A man called out as he entered the Belladonna home. He is a very tall, 8ft 11", muscular man with combed back black hair, a thick beard with connected sideburns, and yellow eyes with oval shaped pupils. For his top, he wears an open dark-violet coat with white fur trim, exposing his hairy chest. Over his beige pants is a matching sash that wraps around his waist and is secured with a large, silver metal buckle. On the shoulder of his coat is a silver metal spaulder, which through a pair of curved strips across the chest attaches as a clasp on the opposite front panel of the coat. The white toes of his black leather boots have a shape reminiscent of paws with claws at the tips. His physique is in general quite hairy, as what little can be seen of his bare arms and the backs of his wrists are shown to be covered in thick, black fur. He also possesses protractible panther claws in his fingertips. "I got your called and came as soon as I can." The man stopped as he entered the living room and stopped at the sight of the group of people and Kali. "Who are these people, Kali?" He asked.

"These are guests that came here to make an alliance with Menagerie in whole." The cat eared woman spoke as Hazel stood up, Amy still in his arms as she found comfort in the larger man over the last two days.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Belladona." Hazel greeted with a small smile and a nod. "My name is, Hazel Rainhart." He raised his unoccupied hand.

"Ghira Belladonna." The man spoke as he shook the slightly shorter man's hand. "So what can I help you with, Mr. Reinhart?"

"As your wife spoke earlier, my master would like to make an alliance with you." The large human spoke with a respectful tone.

"And why is this 'master' of yours not here?" The Faunus asked.

Aisha growled at the taller Faunus. "Because master strong. Stronger than all here."

"Do be calm, Aisha." Hazel gently spoke to his wife as he set Amy down. "Little one. Why don't you go with the ladies while Mr. Belladonna and I will talk, okay?"

The small dog Faunus nodded. "Okay." She ran and held her mother's hand.

The woman chuckled as Verga rubbed the smaller girl's head.

Ghira kept his eyes on Hazel as the women left. "I did not know you were familiar with Echidna and Verga." He spoke.

"My wife and I have only met them Friday passed." Hazel replied. "Quite the unique green eyes she has." He commented. "Satyrs are rather rare." He commented on Verga. "Most of them are outright ousted by both human and Faunus alike."

"The people of Menagerie are not like that." Ghira quickly defended.

"Tell that to the White Fang." Hazel spoke as he pulled out the black orb.

"What…" The male Faunus growled as the orb emitted an aura and screen showing Jean once again.

"Ah. Mr. Belladonna." Jean smiled. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I will take hold of this meeting while my husband is still busy." She giggled at the man's expression of disbelief. "Your wife had the same expression too. Don't let my youthful appearance fool you, Mr. Belladonna. I'm a very powerful individual in my own rights." She spoke with confidence. "Like I have told your wife, you will be working under us."

Ghira felt a chill go down his spine as he felt a presence behind him. He quickly turned around to the direction to see the wall was a mixture of flowing white and gold. He didn't know what happened or how it happened, but he couldn't stop the fear that was quickly filling his heart. He then shook his head, closing his eyes in the process. When he opened his eyes, he saw the wall was normal, decorated with pictures of many Faunus.

"Don't look into the light too long or you'll get blind." Jeanne lectured. "So. Are we in accord?"

Ghira could only grit his teeth with a low growl. He then took a deep breath and nodded. "Very well." He decided. "We are in accord."

"Good." Jeanne smiled. "Now then. Let's talk business."

RDP

Jeanne sighed as she finished with her talk and leaned against the chair she was sitting on.

"Tired, Mistress?" Shaula spoke as she came up to the small woman with a cup of tea.

"Oh. Thank you, Shaula." She smiled as she accepted the warm beverage. "And yes, it was." She sighed. "This is some very nice tea, Shaula. Your mother always knows of the best teas."

"Your thanks make my heart warm, Mistress Jeanne." The redhead smiled.

Jeanne giggled. "I may have gone a bit too far, hm?" She wondered.

"I wouldn't say that." The younger female hummed.

"Maybe." The small woman hummed. "I want to know who that man was that attacked Hei and his daughters." She gripped her small fist around the cup as her eyes gave a slight golden glow. "No one hurts my family and gets away with it."

RDP

"And that concludes today's lesson." Kameel ended her class as the bell rang. "Now I want you to read through the assignment I gave you for Wednesday and each discuss on what you would do on those exercises, okay?"

"Yes, Ms. Peerd." Most of the Team Leaders spoke before they exited the class.

"So, Jaune." Ruby spoke as she, Tock, and the male were walking down the corridor after leaving the class. "What do you plan on doing?"

The purple tipped blonde hummed. "I want to check on how Nora's doing and after making sure that she's okay, maybe walk around the campus." 'I want to call uncle Hazel and tell him the good news."

"That's true." Tock muttered, not liking how the ginger was after her encounter with Venias' teammate. "He was a hell of a bloke." She commented. Getting a confused and cute expression from the younger female, she elaborated. "I mean he's a boy."

"Oh." Ruby blinked. "Then why didn't you say so?"

Tock simply shrugged. "Felt like it." She grinned.

"That's rather unique." Jaune commented and then smiled.

"Hey, Arc." Venias called as he approached the trio. "Can I have a word with you?"

"Sorry, but no." Jaune shook his head as he looked to the slightly taller male. "My partner's not feeling well and I want to see if she's better."

"I'm sure she can wait." The male spoke, placing a hand on the younger male's shoulder.

"And I'm sure you can tell whatever's on your mind another time." Jaune countered. "Right now, a friend is in need."

Venias' gripped Jaune shoulder. "Now hold on a minute. As your senior-"

"Let go." Jaune spoke in a low tone as he held the older male's hand and squeezed it. "Whatever you want to tell me can wait until another day. I don't need to waste my time with you." He walked ahead with his friends, Ruby blowing raspberries at the older male. He bit back a smile as he felt the negative emotions of anger, and jealousy aimed at him. 'Some humans are too easy to bait.'

The three team leaders entered the dorm room of JNNW, with Jaune of course allowing the ladies in first.

"Yo." Yang gave a two finger salute, reading a magazine to bide her time. "How was class?"

"As boring as watching a old man crossing the streets." Ruby grumbled. "But she's nice though. If only Cardin could stop being an asshole."

"Language." Weiss reprimanded.

"I want to hear you complain if you were Team Leader." Ruby stuck her tongue out at the Schnee heiress.

"Well if I was chosen over some-" Weiss began.

"That's enough." Jaune spoke as he approach his partner lying on his bed and holding his pillow close to her chest. "I know this is a dumb question, but how are you feeling, Nora?"

"I feel okay." She mumbled.

Jaune sat by her side and ran his finger through her hair. "That Zhao guy, Nina. Is he the other survivor?"

Nina looked up from the book she reading and sighed. "He is."

"There's a history here, isn't there?" Trifa asked.

"There is." The champion's partner replied. "I don't know all the details, but from what my father spoke, the village that both Nora and Zhao lived in was destroyed by a large number of Grimm."

"It's okay, Nina." Nora muttered as she slowly sat up, repositioning herself to lean against Jaune's shoulder as Pyrrha sat on the other side of her and rubbed her back. "I…don't really want to talk about it yet. Can we…hear one of your stories, Jaune?" She asked.

Jaune smiled. "Of course." He hummed.

"You tell stories?!" Ruby gasps, her eyes sparkling.

Jaune chuckled. "I do." He nodded. "I always tell my sisters stories that my dad told me when I was a kid." He tapped his chin as he looked around the group, most of them looking at him. "How about I tell you the tale of-"

Ring. Ring.

"Hm?" Jaune blinked as he pulled out his scroll. "Well this is a first." He muttered as he answered the call. "Hello?"

"JAAAAAAAUUUUUUUNE!"

Many of the girls flinched at the duo voices of Mel and Mil bounced off in the room.

Jaune blinked at the sight of his two childhood friends calling him via video call. "And here I thought you'd never call." He smiled.

"We waited." Melanie spoke. "We were calling to tell you that we're at our mom's. She didn't like the fact that we were attacked."

"I'd be pretty pissed if my family was attacked too." Yang commented to the twins.

"I'd be ticked too." Tock added.

"In any case, Jaune." The long haired twin spoke. "We're going to train. Mom's got a schedule and a regime set for us. She's setting us up for the Gorgon Rights of Passage."

Jaune winced at that. "From what Shaula said, it's hard."

"We're just as tough as her." They said as one and huffed.

The male smiled. "I'd say 'Good luck', but..."

"We'll take any luck you'll give." Mel smiled and her sister winked. "We gotta go. Take care, Jaune. Take care everyone!"

"Take care girls and good luck. Greet Auntie Maddy for me, please." Jaune requested.

"Will do." The twins replied and cut the call.

Jaune placed his scroll on the night table and sighed.

"Damn, Feather Weight." Yang whistled. "Racking up them points, huh?" She gave a teasing smile.

Jaune shook his head. "Being one of the few guys in my estrange family has its perks."

"You have siblings?" Ilia asked.

"Seven sisters." Jaune spoke proudly, getting wide eyed looks from those that didn't know.

"Hard working parents." Trifa commented.

"My dad has three wives." He shrugged. "My dad's first wife has three daughters. My two eldest sisters and my youngest. My two older sisters are from my other step mother as her third daughter is my second youngest. Then you have my twin and I."

"Who's the oldest?" Nora asked.

"We never went around that, so neither of us never bothered." He then leaned closer to his partner. "Between us, I believe I'm older." He whispered, earning a giggle from the ginger and smiles from the other females.

Nina couldn't and smiled at the sight of her best friend being cheered up. "We should all get ready."

"Yep!" Ruby stood up and pointed her left hand upwards. "Tomorrow is our first combat class!"

"You look a little to excited for that." Fiona spoke.

"Are you kidding?" Yang spoke with a grin. "I finally get to punch someone that's not my pops or some perverted asshole that tries to get in my pants."

"You fought people?" Weiss asked with a scoff. "Of course. You're a brute." She muttered.

"More than likely to train against rouge hunters and the likes." Jaune put in. "My sisters and I were trained to fight anything that would be a threat to us and those we care about." He shrugged. "You can't tell that you were never thought to fight people as well?"

"Of course I was." Weiss huffed. "I just find it stupid to fight other people were as the Grimm are a bigger problem."

"She's actually right." Blake muttered, turning a page of her book. "As expected of the Schnee heiress. She should always be prepared."

"As I should be." Weiss preened.

"Okay!" Nora suddenly jumped. "How about that story!"

"Ah…right?" Fiona blinked.

RDP

"Where's, Neo?" Roman asked, playing a game on his scroll.

"She went to buy more ice cream?" Cinder replied, looking through some clothing articles that comes in red, yellow, or black.

Just then, said smoll woman walked in, effortlessly holding five tubs of ice cream of assorted flavors in one hand, a big grin on her cute face.

"Please tell me you used you own money to get…" Roman started and blinked as she held up one hand, signaling him to wait a moment. She shook the small tower of tubs and the top one fell over to her left hand. She held it out to his direction, indicating that she was giving him it.

Both criminals blinked at that.

"Are you…giving me ice cream?" The thief blinked, muttering as he looked at the flavor. "You got me 'Rocky Road'?"

Cinder caught a tub that was labeled 'Cookie Dough.' "Ok." A fire burst from left hand as her eyes glowed with amber. "Who are you and what have you done to Neo?"

"Is that the way you talk when your mistress decides to give you a treat for a job well done?" A distorted female voice spoke as a figure walked into the room. She wore a red robe with the hood over her face, shrouding it in darkness. She stands at 5ft 5".

"Mistress." Cinder gasps, standing up.

"At ease, Cinder." The robed woman raised her hand, motioning for the other woman to calm down. "A mere treat should not warrant such a reaction."

"Of course." Cinder calmed down. "Thank you for the treat."

"A princess must always look out for those under her care." The woman spoke. "So you made contact with the person?" She addressed Neo.

The mute nodded and held up her scroll, showing Jaune's picture when he went out with the two other teams.

The woman hummed as she gazed at the picture, her heart throbbing a mile a minute. "Excellent." She nodded. "I'll be leaving you in charge for the time being, Cinder. Keep me posted on whatever news revolves around him. Oh. And I'll send someone that will aid the Fangs to pick the dust."

"Yes, Mistress." Cinder nodded.

"I have a different assignment for you, Torchwick." The robes female spoke.

'Damn.' The thief thought after he opened the ice-cream. He looked down at the contents. 'until the next time.' He thought as the tri-haired female giggled mutely.

The robed female was walking alone and sighed at the sight of the shattered moon. "Oh my love." She hummed. "I've finally found you." She raised her arms, glowing pink orbs where her eyes are shine. "We'll meet soon. My king. My God."

"So what happened next?" Nora, Ruby, and Tock spoke as one.

Jaune chuckled as he sat with his friends in JNNW's dorm. It was night and as he promised, he said that he would tell Nora another story. He was honestly surprised that the two other teams decided to stay and listen too.

More fun for him.

"The little men were walking along the giant pile of gold, jewels, and other shining trinkets. They of course kept their guards up, knowing if they disturb the monster that lives within, their lives are forfeit."

Fiona let a frightened bleep and held her hand over her ears and closed her eyes.

"They did not notice the shifting behind the highest peak, small gold trickling down." Jaune allowed his aura to leak out, causing the young women inside the room to shudder. "The pile began to swell, growing higher to reveal red flesh of the great beast hidden within. Yellow eyes glared at the invaders, a large clawed hand raising high."

"Oh shit." Yang muttered.

"One the Newmans turned, his eyes widened in fear. Before he had a time to warn his fellow group…" He paused and then smiled. "Time for bed."

What?!

Most of the girls shouted out, Weiss looking at her scroll and noting that it was almost time for curfew. "Curfew's near." She spoke, while mentally hating an abrupt halt from such a good story. 'Maybe I can find the book.' She thought.

Tock groaned as she fell back on the bed she was sitting on. "Bollocks." She grunted. "Good story, Luv." She grinned. "Plannin' to tell us more?"

"I don't see why not." He shrugged. "Believe it or not, it's my younger sisters favorite story." He chuckled and stood up. "I'll be needing my bed for tonight." He rubbed his hair. "Unless you plan to leave me sleep on the ground?" He teased.

The three huntresses stood up, each with flush peaches on their cheeks.

Jaune picked up on their embarrassment and chuckles. "No worries. I was just joking."

"Well then." Tock patted her pants and grinned. "We'll be seeing you tomorrow." She turns to her fellow Faunus teammates. "C'mon girls. Beauty won't be achieved if we stay awake."

The group of friends bid each other goodnight to each other and Teams RWBY and TITE went to their separate dorms, the Faunus team being next to team RWBY's own.

"Well then." Pyrrha stepped out of the shower, wearing a dark red tank top and matching color tight shorts. She was the last of the team to have gotten ready with Nina and Nora already sleeping. She walked to her childhood friend who was wearing a yellow shirt and black shorts. "I never thought you would make a story so captivating." She smiled as she sat next to him.

"I'm glad they enjoyed them." He chuckled.

Pyrrha giggled along with him. "I know I've said this before, but I'm glad to finally see you again after all these years."

"I know." He smiled. "I missed you too, Pyr."

"Did you missed me the most?" She teased.

The prince of Grimm snorted. "I'm never one for favorites unless it comes to worldly items." He smiled. "Despite me being the only male among my siblings, it is rather hard to pick a favorite sibling. From cute little Phym all the up to eldest sister Woodsy."

"You're the only male here now too." The champion smiled.

Jaune wrapped his left arm around Pyrrha's shoulder and hugged her. "I'm glad that you're all okay with me."

"Nothing is wrong with you." Pyrrha leaned against him.

Jaune's eyes dimmed purple for a moment. "Τελικά, θα μάθουν τι και ποιος είμαι Τελικά, θα μάθουν για το ποιος και τι είμαι (Eventually, they will find out about who and what I am)." He muttered.

The red nodded, knowing it was true. She leaned up and kissed his cheek. " Everything will go well, Jaune." She smiled.

"I hope so." Jaune smiled as he stood up. "I'm going to call Hazel. I'll be right back."

RDP

The scroll vibrated, catching the tall human's attention. Groaning, Hazel moved as smooth as possible in order not to wake his sleeping wife up. "Hello?" He muttered.

"Uncle Hazel?" Jaune voice spoke. "I'm glad that called you as soon as I can. I have good news of you." He muttered.

Hazel sat up and blinked, Aisha following his warmth to get cozy. "Is everything alright, Young Master?" He spoke softly, rubbing his wife's back.

"I…don't know how to say this, but I found Amber."

"Wh-…What?" The man muttered, a tinge of hope in his voice. "You...found her..." He trailed off.

"Kinda. Yeah. Uhm...I'm not sure. I have some kind of link and I can communicate with her via my dreams. I'm trying to figure a way on how to contact her mentally. But she's here in Beacon somewhere and neither of us know the location."

Tears began to run down the large human's cheeks. "She's been found…"

"Uncle Hazel?" Jaune called.

"Thank you…Young Master." The man smiled, small cracks in his voice. "I'll be sure to tell Aisha the good news."

"I'm glad could help. And I will find her. You have my word. And an Arc never goes back on a vow."

The man chuckled. "You bring such good news to me, Young Master." The man sighed with a happy smile.

"A prince must always look out for his subordinates."

"And I am glad to be of service to your family." Hazel spoke with outmost passion.

"Good night, Uncle Hazel."

"Good night, Young Master." Hazel spoke and the call ended. The man looked to his wife's sleeping face and kissed her cheek. "Our little cub is well and alive." He muttered with a small smile.

"Lady Jeanne." Watson addressed the small woman as he saw her with her sister wives sipping on tea. "I have managed to acquire the documents pertaining, young master Jaune and other students, mainly his teammates and those he gathers around him." He held a document to the woman.

Sabbath reacted faster and took the folder with a big toothy smile. "I would love to see how our son is doing making normal friends too." She commented.

Salem huffed, blowing steam off her black bubbly tea. "Let's see if any of them are even remotely nice to him."

Jeanne looked over the several pictures, reading the documents of the students. "Oh?" She hummed, looking over the documents of Team JNNW. "Looks like little Pyrrha has grown beautifully."

Salem looked over the smaller woman's shoulder and hummed. "Indeed she have." She agreed, tapping Nora's picture. "She seems to be hiding a lot of pain, hm?" She hummed.

Sabbath looked over Nina and Nora's files. Nina Wong and Nora Valkyrie. Partners to Pyrrha and our son." The horned woman hummed. "Isn't there a huntsman that adopted this little calf?"

"If you're talking about Sergey August, then yes." The small woman nodded. "I have heard news of him being a huntsman councilman. He also very important figure from Mistral. A Valkyrie, hm? I haven't heard of them in ages." She tapped Nora's picture.

"The warriors blessed with lightning, correct?" Salem spoke.

"Indeed they were." Sabbath nodded after putting JNNW's file to the side and pulled TITE's.

"I like these two." Salem looked to Tock and Trifa's files. "They seem ready to take the life of an enemy it they're a threat." She then looked to Ilia's file. "Oh. She could make a good spy."

"This Fiona seems a bit soft though." Sabbath hummed. "But if I can get my hands on her, she'd be a force to reckon with." She grinned.

"Finally in search of an apprentice, I see." Salem smiled.

"She may have." Jeanne placed the separated files of Team RWBY. "The Schnee heiress." The small woman hummed. "An ice princess for our twilight prince."

"If she is worthy." Salem hummed. "From what the seers saw, her father is rather materialistic." She scoffed. "As if you'll need all riches to be at the top."

"Maybe." Sabbath spoke. "Her older sister stepped down from inheriting the company in favor of following her father's way and with her mother turning to the bottle." She had a small frown on her face. "The poor woman."

"She is stationed at Atlas, under general Ironwood." Jeanne sighed. "Naj is there too."

"I'm sure she's not making trouble." Salem smiled as she looked at the next file. "Blake Belladonna. Ghira's offspring."

"Another princess." Sabbath clapped her hands. "And a wild one at that. But why hide her ears?"

"Under cover?" The pale skinned woman shrugged. "Only time could tell."

"Yang Xiao Long." Jeanne hummed. "A dragon, huh?" She smiled.

Salem then took the last file and opened it, her eyes widening slightly. "Silver eyes."

The other women looked over to the picture of Ruby Rose.

"Oh ho~" Sabbath's goat eyes gleamed. "So they call themselves 'Rose' now?"

Salem then hummed, looking between Yang and Ruby's pictures. Seeing their parents name and only noting the name of their father. "They share the same father, but different mother." She nodded.

"Our children are living in quite an era." Jeanne giggled.

"Cheers!" Sabbath raised her right hand a mug of ale appearing in it. "For our children!"

"Cheers! "Jeanne raised her right hand a cup of white wine appearing in her hold. "For a loving life!"

"(Cheers)!" Salem raised her right hand, a goblet of red wine held by the base of it. "For conquest and eternal peace."

The three women tapped the lips of the drink they toasted.

"Almost done." The father of eight chuckled with glee. "Our son will have a powerful weapon!" He laughed.

...

Watson blinked in his personal lab shook a bit. "The master seems to put a great care in making young master's weapon." He hummed as he looked out the window to see both elder and young Grimm roaring in praises, knowledge of their brethren being used for their creators.

"Ah. Finally." Tyrian smiled as a woman gasps and dropped a bottle of what seems to be a very expensive Atlasian whine.

Smash!

"Such a waste of good beverage brand too." Arachne hummed.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?" A woman asked.

She looks like an older mature version of Weiss with some signs of wrinkles at the corner of her eyes. She wears her hair in a low ponytail over her left shoulder. Her attire consists of a white cravat that shapes out her F-cup bust and secured by a silver brooch set with a red stone; as well as a light purple jacket with light sleeves, a wide belt around her slim waist, a matching pencil skirt with black tights that shapes out her legs and slippers.

"We are here on business." Tyrian giggled.

The woman snorted, now not caring at these people was inside her villa. "Did Jaques send you to finally kill me?" She asked as she went to her sofa and sat on it, opening another expensive brand of Atlasian whine.

"Again. You have good taste." Arachne commented. "But we are here to help you."

"Help?" The spoke softly, pouring the amber colored beverage into the cup, settle it down, and proceeded to drink straight from the bottle with elegance that was engrained into her being from childhood. Setting the bottle down, she nursed the cup in her left hand while pointing the bottle at two the strangers. "What help do I need? I've lost everything. I've lost my pride, my company, my daughters." She shook her head with a mirthless chuckle. "My life is over. I should be dead for what I did to my children. My father would be rolling in his grave."

"We can help you acquire a new type of Dust." Arachne spoke as she reached into her sleeve pulled out a black dust crystal.

The woman looked at the crystal with slightly narrowed eyes. Normally, she would have been drunk by now, but due to these strangers being here and showing a Dust crystal she had never seen in all her life. Curiosity got the better hold of her and she stood up, walking with grace as she approaches the duo. Once she got a closer look at the crystal, she noted that it has a glowing yellow core with red swirls. Her eyes stared deeply into the mineral and couldn't help the mental theories going through her mind at the sight of it. "What. What is this?" She muttered, her hand subconsciously reaching out to the crystal.

Arachne closed her fist around the crystal and smiled very subtly while her husband cackled. "This is a Grimm core. They made by very ancient Grimm of the Old Days."

The woman's eyes widened. She had read a lot of the Old Days. Where Grimm were far more powerful and dangerous than they were today. She shuddered at a tale that her great grandfather told her about one that's called the Black Pit.

"Looks like you remembered some fun times?" Tyrian chuckled as he stood straighter, his height surpassing the woman, and matching his wife's, his scorpion tale unfolded from around his waist reaching the length of five feet. "Now let's make a deal." He smiled. "So we can help our Pantheons."

The door to the room was then kicked open, several masked and armed men barging in.

The white haired woman's eyes were wide at that.

"Ah." Tyrian giggled as he raised his hands. "Such willing sacrifices!" His aura burst forth, the color of poison purple that made everyone minus Arachne sick at the feeling alone. His eyes gained a purple tint as a maddening smile spread over his face.

Arachne simply shook her head at her husband's antics, her aura flowing a dark purple color with grey hints. "I suggest, you cover you face, Ms. Schnee." The woman suggested a she pulled a breathing mask from her sleeve and tossed it at the white haired woman.

Some of the guards coughed, one stumble backwards before falling over and suffered a seizure.

That got woman to put on the mask and secure it around her face. 'Who...are these people?'

"Ugh!" Another man fell over, his heart having stopped before he hit the ground.

"Awe. No fun." The Faunus male pouted. "And we've only released our aura."

"Men are weaker than they were since I was a child." Arachne hummed. "I remember when Medusa and I went through the Right of Gorgons. This is nothing."

One of the men managed to aim his rifle at the white haired woman, but an impalement through the chest instantly stopped that.

"Ah. Ah. Ah." Tyrian waggled his finger as if he was scolding a child. "What's punishment of discharging fire arms inside the house?"

But no one answered. The guards were all dead due to the combined poisonous aura of the Faunus couple.

"That's no fun. Their all dead now." Tyrian whined.

"Honey. Why don't you get rid of the bodies? I'll talk to Ms. Schnee." Arachne proposed.

"Okay." The man spoke in a dejected tone as he slumped away, picking up the bodies and dragging the last one with his tail, leaving a trail of blood from the gaping hole in the dead man's chest.

"Your husband is rather…emotional?" She questioned in the end.

"Most of us in our Lord and Ladies' courts have had some rather…unique upbringing." Arachne hummed.

"I'm not one to judge one's life hood. It's just." She looked down with a sad forlorn sigh. "I've…been a horrible mother."

Arachne approached the shorter woman and placed her pale hands on the woman's shoulder. "You can begin by fully reclaiming the S.D.C." She hummed. "Or are you not a Schnee." She challenged.

The white haired woman looked up, her eyes gaining a glow of power as she narrowed them. "I may have lost the years I drank away…." She clenched her fists. "I'll take it back. The daughters I've ignored. My company. I'll take it all back! I swear on my name, Willow Schnee!"

Arachne smiled.

RDP

"Good afternoon, students." Glynda announced as the 1st years settled in a large room that has a medium arena at the front. "As you know, my name is Glynda Goodwitch and I will be your instructor in combat training for the next three years to all students." She smacked her crop on her palm, causing several of the students to jump at the sudden sound. "Now. As huntsmen, you are required to be at your peak performance whenever you are called to duty. Be it slaying Grimm, call to evacuate settlements in case of Grimm incursions, dealing with rouges, bandits, and recently, the White Fang." She gave a stern look to all students. "You can deny it all you want, but the peaceful protests are long gone."

Many of the Faunus students muttered in agreement, feeling shame at their once peaceful group.

"Now then." The woman tapped her personal tablet and looked through the registered students. Giving a slight glance to a certain male, she decided to test him out. 'I still can't believe Ozpin allowed him here.' She thought. 'I'll test him myself.' She tapped a few more times and an enlarge screen popped up, showing the pictures of Jaune and Cardin. "Will Cardin Winchester and Jaune Arc change into their huntsman gear and come to the arena."

The males stepped out, Cardin going further down the ring until both males were standing a good distance from each other.

Jaune has simply pulled his hood down.

Glynda nodded. "We will be the rules for the upcoming Vytel Festival. Both competitors will face each other on the field. Their aura gauge at the green. Installed in your scrolls are aura readers, which reads your reserves and calculated the amount uses with Atlas' cutting edge technology."

Jaune could feel the pride rubbing off on him from the Schnee heiress.

"Are you two ready?" The instructor spoke, looking the between the Arc and Winchester.

"Sure." Cardin replied with a confident shrug.

"Yes ma'am." Jaune nodded as he placed his right hand on his mother's sword and frowned slightly.

The huntress noted this. "Is there something wrong, Mr, Arc?"

"Mort Blanche (White Death) doesn't want to fight you." He muttered, looking over his mother's weapon. "Is that it?" He felt the weapon hummed in his hands and he sighed. "Pyr?" He called out to his friend, getting her attention and many others.

"Yes Jaune?" The redhead called back.

"Hold her for me please." He requested and threw the sheathed weapon like a javelin, the champion catching with no issues and holding it with gentle grace.

"Ten points!" Nora cheered.

"That's a good arm." Nina remarked.

"It could make some more flare." Yang chuckled.

"Go Jaune!" Ruby cheered.

'Let's see what you have, Arc.' Weiss thought.

Blake simply waved a small flag with Jaune's face on it. "Kick his ass." She simply spoke.

"Get 'em!" Tock shouted.

"Show him some manners!" Ilia added.

'He seemed rather skilled.' Trifa thought.

"Why do feel like I should feel sorry for the bigger one?" The sheep Faunus muttered.

"Now I'm ready." Jaune spoke, feeling the negative emotions of many of the males due to his teammates, team RWBY, and team TITE cheering him on.

Glynda wanted to say something, but she felt her tablet vibrate. Looking at the message, she sighed. "Very well."

...

In his office, Ozpin looked at the match via his personal scroll and was looking at Jaune. 'Who are you, Mr. Arc?' He thought, having not seen an Arc in several centuries.

...

Jaune grinned. Without a word, he leaped at the taller male and swung his left leg high, aiming to knock him out with a single action.

Cardin was clearly caught off guard by the action as he merely reacted by stumbling backwards and clumsily avoiding the kick. He also felt the wind brush over his nose before he steadied himself. "What the hell are you doing?"

Jaune was before the taller male before he could carefully bring his guard up. "You really think you need a bell should be rung in a battle between two warriors?" He questioned, slamming his fist into the Winchester's unprotected side, delivering a liver blow, and knocking the air out of him.

Cardin crumbled to the ground, gasping for air and holding his side. "Mother...fucker..." He grunted.

Glynda's eyes were rather wide and surprise at the purple tipped blonde's skill in unarmed combat. 'Perhaps there's more to what meets the eye.' She thought. 'I should still keep an eye on him. Something is definitely suspicious of his transcripts. It just doesn't feel right.' "Mr. Arc. Please step back. I did not issue the beginning of the match." She spoke.

Jaune kept his gaze on the taller male as he walked backwards, leaving Cardin to stand up with a small coughing fit. "Sorry about that, Ms. Goodwitch." He spoke. "My parents thought me to never give the enemy a chance to ready themselves. I'm sure to try and remember that." He smiled.

The woman fought the urge to use her semblance, feeling a dreadful aura from the male for a split second.

'Oh?' Jaune thought, feeling emotion of fear for the briefest of moment from the older woman. 'You are human after all.' He then looked to Cardin, seeing that he was set and ready. "Now...how to break you." He muttered.

"Begin!" The woman called out.

Cardin rushed forward, his mace high and ready to smash down Jaune's head.

Jaune stepped in, avoiding the mace, and grabbing Cardin's face, with a strength that belied his size as the shorter male, Jaune slammed the taller built male unto the ground, slamming the back of the Winchester's head.

The class looked in awe as Jaune had slammed Cardin head first unto the arena floor, the taller male twitching at several intervals.

'I can't move!' Cardin thought as he felt his energy ebb away from his body. 'Why…can't I move?' His eyes looked up to Jaune, the purple tipped blonde's face shrouded in shadows due to him blotting the ceiling light behind him.

"You feel that, don't you?" He spoke as he released his hold and stepped back. "The feeling of being weak and helpless."

Cardin was finally able to get some strength in his body back and slowly stood up. "What the hell was that?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" The male taunted.

Cardin growled out and glanced at his aura meter, seeing that it was dangerously close to the red zone. He glanced about the audience, not wanting to shame his name on the first combat class.

Although he already did by getting his ass kicked by an unarmed opponent.

He took glance and noted team TITE watching the match and mentally thought off a plan. "You know." He dusted himself as he hefted his mace, resting it on his shoulder. "I've been wondering." Cardin began.

"Never thought you could think, Winchester." Jaune cut him off with a barb.

Some of the students chuckled at that.

"Sorry to cut you off, but what was the sponge in your head trying to convey to your mouth?" Jaune smiled like his skin marred stepmother.

Cardin ignored the barb and continued his plan. "You took a bath, right?"

"So you have a sensitive nose, hm?" Jaune hummed thumbing his chin and nodding. "I see. You fear me because you can smell how strong I am."

"I mean how can you smell like you just came from the zoo." Carding grunted.

Jaune knew his plan from the get go. "Do you have something against, Faunus, Winchester?" He asked, purposely raising his voice. "I mean, you got beaten by Tock, right?"

A twitch.

"She didn't even break a sweat. And now you're trying to take it out a human like me." Jaune smiled. "I dislike beings like you. Judging others simply because they lack what you have." His aura began to leak out in a mixture of gold and purple.

'What is this?' Glynda thought in fascination, never seeing this before.

'His aura is rather unique.' Ozpin thought. 'There is more to what meets the eye on you, Mr. Arc.' His eyes narrowed slightly. 'Perhaps...'

"So you don't like Faunus, then." He took a step. "That automatically puts you on my black book of people I don't like. You're the fifth person I'm putting in."

"So what if I don't like Faunus." The taller male grunted.

"You know. I have two stepmothers, one of them being a ram Faunus." Jaune spoke. "Do you know what that means, Winchester?"

"That your father's a sick fuck and is into bestiality." Cardin spoke like a joke, but the class was silent.

Not that class was silent. It's just that Cardin didn't hear anything. The vision began to darken to the point that only Jaune was in front of him.

"Hoh?" Jaune hummed. "You think it's funny to insult my family?" His aura flowed more freely, vanishing the darkness and causing many of the students to gasps.

Glynda took a step back from the feeling and couldn't help, but be marvel of the display.

"My word." Ozpin muttered in shock, never having felt such a powerful aura in a very long time. He then narrowed his eyes, feeling something familiar of sorts.

'He done fucked up.' Pyrrha thought.

Jaune hated when people spoke ill of his family. "Ms. Goodwitch. You best have and bed ready for Mr. Winchester after I'm done with him." He advised.

"Awe. Did I make little Jauney cry?" Cardin jeered, hiding the sudden fear he felt.

Jaune can feel it though. "You're afraid of me." The aura receded and formed around his left arm, glowing and forming into a gauntlet that would hold a man's head with ease. "That's good." He calmly spoke as he raised the armored hand in front of his chest, clenched it, and pulled back.

BAM!

Jaune slammed his aura enlarged fist into the taller male's chest, slamming him down into the ground with a thunderous crash.

Many of the onlookers were in shock. One moment, Jaune was standing there with an aura formed gauntlet. The next moment Cardin was punched downward into the ground, Jaune leaning over him as the gauntlet faded away into wisps. He stood up and walked away. "Insult my family again and anyone I hold dear, I'll do more than break your aura, Winchester." He warned.

Glynda looked to see that Cardin's aura was completely and utterly shattered. 'If this was a death match.' She thought and shook her head. "Winner. Jaune Arc."

RDP

"Damn, Feather Weight." Yang whistled. "How did you move like that?"

The three teams were sitting at the cafeteria and were eating, lessons were all behind them.

"Just simply pumping aura through my body." Jaune replied with a shrugged. "My siblings and I were born with massive reserves of aura pools and them some. All inherited form our parents."

"Wait." Ruby tapped her chin. "Didn't you say you have two stepmothers?"

"I do." He nodded. "But just like my mom, they came from a family that follow the Old Ways. A way of life that ensures that you are the strongest of your kin."

"That's so cool." Nora awed.

"So between you siblings, who would be the strongest?" Ilia asked, deciding to give the male a shot as she heard him saying that he has half-sisters that were Faunus born.

Blake was rather interested too, despite how she looked to not have.

"My three oldest sister are by far the strongest out the eight of us due to their experience." He hummed. "My three youngest sisters should be starting their training next year."

"How young is the youngest?" Fiona asked.

"Phym is the youngest, being six. Elesis's ten years old. Ereskigal is thirteen." Jaune smiled.

"That's awfully young." Weiss commented.

"Let's remember that their aura was unlocked at the age of four too." Jaune chuckled. Finding it rather weird that their own were unlocked when they were ten years of age.

"I wish I had a younger sibling." Ruby sighed.

"But you are a younger sibling." Yang shot back with a grin on her face.

"Exactly." The young Rose muttered.

"But Brothers, luv." Tock looked at the sole male. "Never thought you could move so fast. I don't think I could pause the vid to catch you move."

"Years of vigorous training will do that to you." Jaune chuckled, remembering all the times his parents and sisters pushed him through the regime they set up for him.

"But you showed that asshole some." Ilia huffed, remembering the nasty things he said.

The other females agreed with her, none of them would like their family insulted like that.

"So you have Faunus siblings, huh?" Nina spoke, taking a sip of her tea.

"Yup." Jaune nodded. "Daughters to my mother Sabbath, a goat Faunus." He rubbed the back of his head. "She's very powerful even without using her Semblance."

"Hey greenhorns!" Coco suddenly called the group, unintentionally saving Jaune and gaining their attention and many more students within the cafeteria. She was followed by the rest of her team.

"Coco." Jaune greeted as he stood up. "You look well rested."

"Psh." Coco waved her hand as she fixed her shades with a smug smile. "Nothing a little two days sleep would do for this sexy bod of mine."

"Coco." Velvet sighed, but still smiled at her friend. "I hope you're all enjoying Beacon so far."

"Among other things." Yang winked as she nodded to Jaune with Pyrrha giggling. "Ah you're no fun." The gold tipped blonde pouted, forgetting that Mistrilian champion was not the jealous type when it comes to the sole male in their company.

The other boys on the hand.

Jaune could feel the jealousy from the many males aimed at him few of the females aimed at his friends.

"Beacon is great and all save for some unsavory people here." Nina spoke catching Team CRDL talking with Venias and Zhao.

"We should break their legs just in case." Nora muttered, but she was looking at Zhao.

"Don't worry about them." Jaune spoke, placing a hand on his teammates' shoulders. 'I'll deal with them when the time comes.' He thought.

"So you guys ready to do some missions next month?" Coco asked.

"Maybe?" Ruby replied.

Coco chuckled as she stepped forward and wrapped her arm around the young scythe wielder. "No worries. Just some small Grimm nests to deal with. Nothing big I'm sure you can handle." She encouraged the younger female.

"Really?" Ruby looked at the brunette.

"Really, really." Yang agreed with Coco, giving her younger sibling an encouraging smile.

Ruby nodded and smiled, determination shining in her eyes.

Weiss looked to the sisters, mentally wondering how her older sister is doing.

RDP

It was night and the shattered moon was in full view once again. Pyrrha was humming a song from her village and moving her body to the rhythm. She was wearing a red sports bra and brown thigh length spats. She raised her hands, the moon between her palms before rolling her arms around in a circular motion before bowing deeply, her knees touching the ground with her head low, as if praising the moon itself.

"Chorós tis Selínis (Dance of the moon)." Jaune spoke, walking onto the roof to that his childhood friend was dancing. "A lovely song as usual."

Pyrrha came out of her pose with grace and turned to Jaune with a lovely smile. "Jaune."

"When did you learn that?" He asked, approaching the redhead.

"To be fair, I wanted to impress you since you left and through those letters." The champion looked away with a bashful expression.

Jaune could feel the shyness from the redhead. "No need to be reserved, Pyrrha." He chuckled as he looked up to the moon. "The gods are among us."

"And always have been." Pyrrha sighed as she stood by him and held his hand in her own. "So what will happen now? Using your aura like that will bound to get attention to yourself."

"I intended too." Jaune grinned. "Father always said that I should show what I can do and surprised them with more of what I can do."

Pyrrha giggled and sighed. "You know I like you right?" She muttered.

"I do." Jaune nodded.

"You know more will along the way?" Pyrrha added, her voice still low. The twins, those angels, Shaula, and maybe more."

"I know." He chuckled, rubbing her knuckles with his thumb. "I'll figure something out. I don't want to break hearts."

"I know you won't. But we need to deal with what we have to do here." She spoke softly as she stood before him, wrapping his arms around her stomach.

Jaune looked up and sighed. 'How will I deal with this?'

"And there we were." Nora spoke in an ominous tone. "It was late in night."

"It was day." Nina corrected as she took a bite of her sandwich.

"We were surrounded." Nora continued.

"It was just two." Nina countered.

"It was a hard fight, but those savage Grimm had nothing on us!" Nora cheered, standing up with her right fist held up high.

"It were two over energetic puppies." Nina snorted.

"Cute." Yang laughed.

"I missed those puppies." Nora sighed.

"What kind were they?" Jaune asked.

"Doesn't matter, they're cute." Nora pouted.

"Hey Jaune?" Fiona spoke. "D-Do you have a pet?"

"Kinda." Jaune nodded. "More like family pets. Five of them. A wolf, a snake, a bird, an overgrown cat, and an overgrown lizard." He decided to leave Barry out of the mentioned. 'Sorry Barry."

"Oeh!" Ruby squealed as she pulled out her scroll. "This is our pet, Zwei!" She then frowned. "Awe. I didn't upload any pictures." She pouted. She then perked up and smiled. "But I bet my dog can beat yours." She challenged.

Jaune snorted. "Saberwolf will eat whatever dog you have. He's a savage."

"I must admit, Arc." Weiss began. "What you did in that match was rather interesting. I never though aura could be used in such a manner."

"My siblings and I were born with massive aura pools. To the point that if we focused, we can actually make physical weapons with them."

Pyrrha smiled as her friend was making good talks with the group.

"But you have two different colored auras." Fiona spoke. "How is that possible?"

"Ouch!"

The three teams, along with many of the other students, looked to the sight of Team CRDL around the rabbit Faunus, Cardin tugging on one of her rabbit ears.

"See!" The Winchester laughed. "I told you they weren't fake."

"Please let go! It hurts!" She struggled in vain as the boys laughed and jeered, Sky held his hands to the sides of his crown to imitate rabbit ears while prancing about.

"And why not?" Cardin teased, tugging the ear again. "I don't feel anything."

"Why isn't she fighting back?" Yang muttered, knowing the brown haired female is their senior.

"Look around and you'll see." Iilia replied.

The group did so, and saw many of the other students, both human and Faunus, were obviously ignoring the fiasco.

"The Faunus aren't helping because it's obvious that many will think that the White Fang have some supporters." Nina spoke.

"While the humans want no trouble because of how famous the Winchester is for taking part of the war. They're a family that went down in history for them being the turning point." Pyrrha glared at the group. "He's just riding on their tail coat."

"They also helped with founding Beacon." Weiss put in, a small scowl on her face.

"Let's break their legs." Nora spoke.

Jaune stood up without a word, the negative emotions feeding him. He made his way to the group, feeling Velvet's fear, pain, shame, and also her welling anger. He also disliked that most of the humans were enjoying or ignoring the girl's plight while some of the Faunus turned away or proceeded to leave the cafeteria.

"What a freak." Russel chuckled.

"Look out, Cardin." Dove snorted in amusement. "She might bite you."

"As if she can." Cardin waved is other hand. "If she knows what's good for her." He warned the brunette, squeezing a bit harder on Velvet's ear, making her whimper in pain. "You animals should like to be dominated, right?"

"Let her go, Cardin." Jaune spoke, stepping up to them. "Or else?"

Cardin frowned as he stood up, towering over the shorter male. "Or else what, Arc?" He taunted, tugging Velvet's ear as she had try to pull away. "What are you going to do about it." He challenged in a low voice. "You really are an animal lover, huh?"

Jaune raised his hand and grasps around Cardin wrists, squeezing it until the sound of bones grinding was being heard.

Cardin tried keeping a straight face. He was trying hard to not express his pain.

"I warned you." Jaune muttered. He flicked his wrist turning the Winchester's own and forcing his hold on Velvet's ear to be released. "A lesson must be given."

"What are you-Gha!" He dropped to his knees as his bones was being pressured. "Let go, fucker! Do you know who you're messing with!?" He grunted.

Pyrrha was beside the older female and held her shoulders. "Are you okay, Ms. Scarlatina?"

Velvet nodded, her eyes not leaving the form of Jaune standing over the kneeling Winchester. "I'm…I'm fine." She muttered.

"Do you really think I care of your status, Winchester?" The purple tipped blonde spoke. "I'm warning you. Leave Velvet alone."

"What the hell are you three just standing there for?!" Cardin shouted in pained anger. "Stop him!"

The three snapped out their stupor and rushed towards the male, believing that they can all take him on.

Jaune turned and pulled Cardin up, moving him to intercept Russel's left hook to the taller's face.

"Oh shit." The mohawk haired male shouted. "Sorry, Cardin."

"That was rather shameful." Jaune hummed, swiveling to the side, to avoid Dove's straight left front kick. He grabbed his leg and pulled, forcing the dusty blonde to perform a split against his will. Many of the occupant's wince at the sound of his pained groaned.

Jaune watched as Sky was ready to attack and his aura erupted, purple mixed with black swirled around his being. He actually relished in the bluenette's fear by the sudden eruption.

Many of the students felt fear grip their hearts, feeling like they were in a pitch black pit with nowhere to go and Grimm all around them ready to rend them apart.

"Pathetic." Jaune scoffed, turning to the now shivering Cardin, the male was still on the ground. 'This is what today's huntsmen amount to?' He thought and shook his head. He went to Velvet and held his hand out. "Can you stand?" He asked, his aura dying down

Velvet's face was slightly red, her face down to avoid eye contact. "I'm fine…" She spoke in a subdued manner, feeling like she was in the present of an alpha.

Jaune nodded. "That's good." He smiled. "From now on Velvet Scarlatina is under my protection. Anyone that would dare try any harm to her, will answer to me."

"Pretty damn bold, Arc." Sienna called, walking into the cafeteria, her mecha tail swaying with each step. "You go on ahead." She nodded. "You four, detention. I'm sure Goodwitch would like to hear what excuse you have."

The four males simply grunted, Cardin confident that he'll stay out of trouble.

Sienna looked around. "The rest of you recheck your values of being a huntsman. We are meant to protect the weak." She then turned to look at Jaune. "You're a lot stronger than I thought." She commented. "I really can't wait to fight you, Arc."

"Been training since I could walk." Jaune shrugged. "Just be prepared to lose."

"Is that a fact?" Sienna grinned actually liking the challenge."

"Only one way to find out." Jaune chickled as he gave Velvet his attention. "Let me see you ear, Velvet."

The rabbit Faunus nodded. "O…Okay…" She leaned her head a bit, allowing Jaune to touch them.

"Asshole." Jaune muttered, having noticed her flinching. "The hell is he thinking hurting you like that?" He gently held her ear in his right palm while hovering the left hand over the slightly reddened area. His palm glowed a golden white aura and healed the ear. "There we go. Feeling better?" He requested.

Velvet's face was flushed red, never had anyone touched her ear in such a manner besides her family whenever she had hurt herself when she was little. She managed a nod. "T-Thank you."

"No problem." He smiled.

"Way to go Fearless Leader!" Nora cheered.

Jaune chuckled. "How about you sit with us, hm?" He offered. "I'm sure it would be better than sitting alone."

"I'm not hungry anymore." Velvet muttered. "I don't want to be in the way and I don't feel like ruining your time."

"Nonsense." Pyrrha smiled. "You are a friend and fellow huntress."

"How about you take her to her teammates?" Yang suggested, wondering where they were.

"We can do that." Jaune nodded. "Where are they?"

"They're training. I just came back from doing my sets to eat." She replied. "I was thinking to going to our dorm room."

"Okay." Jaune nodded. "How about Pyrrha and I walk you to your dorm room so you can freshen up?"

"I…don't want to impose." Velvet shook her head.

"Nonsense." The champion smiled, placing a gentle hand on the brown haired female's shoulder. "Do you have any classes or missions today?"

"No." Velvet shook her head.

"Then its settled!" Nora popped up. "Fearless Leader and Pyr-Pyr will be your bodyguards."

"Do try to avoid unneeded permanent damages." Nina added.

Jaune snorted, feeling Nina's controlled anger of the passed situation. "We'll meet up later." He looked to the Mistralian female.

"We will." Nina nodded.

Tock walked up to Jaune and grinned. "Now I can see that people like you are the reason we can fight for peace, luv." She winked and walked away, team RWBY, Nina, and Nora, after giving Jaune and Pyrrha a big hug, following.

'He's vastly different than the other humans.' Blake thought, ignoring the tingle down her spine. 'He's definitely alpha material. Far more so than Adam. He's so strong, caring, and respectful. He also has Faunus siblings.'

Weiss was in her own world as well. 'How can he defend a Faunus so easily? Sure she's not White Fang, but still…No Weiss. You're not like him. It's just that...' She sighed.

"You okay, Weisscream?" Yang asked her teammate.

"Just some thoughts, Xiao Long." The Schnee heiress spoke.

"Of how Jaune was so damn cool!" Ruby grinned. "He was so badass. Taking on those bullies like no problem. He probably didn't break a sweat dealing with them!"

"I'll say." The older sibling agreed. "I mean, I could take 'em on, but Jaune went in without a second there." She grinned. "He had a hell of a…Jauny to get there."

"That was horrible." Triffa shook her head.

"No amount of time will heal that one." Ilia shook her head.

"That was kinda funny." Fiona muttered.

"Thank you." Yang grinned.

"You okay, Fi?" Tock asked her partner.

"I'm...scared of Jaune." She confessed, getting odd looks from Ruby, Weiss, and Yang.

"How so?" Ruby asked.

"Like we saw, Jaune has two different colored aura, which is something that I've never seen before." She began. "I felt at peace when he unleashed the white tinted gold aura. And then I felt nothing but dread as he let the black tinted purple aura."

"How?" Ruby was confused at that now. "I didn't feel much. Just a small tingle."

"You know that Faunus are wired slightly different then you humans, right?" Tock spoke, getting nods from the humans. "Well we do have animal instincts." She sighed, running her hand though her mohawk. "You girls didn't see it, but all the Faunus in the cafeteria looked away from Jaune when he looked around."

"It's like being in the presence of an Apex Predator. The one at the top." Ilia spoke, her skin tone paling at the memory.

"I see now." Nina nodded. "Because of you baser instinct, you believe he's the top of the foodchain."

"In a way, yes." Trifa nodded.

"Okay." Yang nodded. "So he makes you Faunus scared. But so far, he's been a cool and chill guy."

"He seems rather protective of those he cares about." Blake decided to put in. "And now that he kinda laid claim to Velvet."

Nina raised a brow and shook her head. "That's one way of putting it. It'll also cause some rather crude rumors."

"And if Cardin is like the way he is now." Yang muttered with a scowl. "He won't stop." She crossed her arms under her bust. "And this is the first week of school."

"Don't worry." Nora chirped. "Jaune-Jaune's strong!" She flexed her left arm. "And you see who his partner is, right?" She grinned.

"He sure is." Yang agreed, wondering if she could ever spar with the male.

RDP

Coco sighed as she rested on one of the many bleachers in training room, wearing a brown sports bra and knee length spats that shapes out her hips, ass, and thighs.

"You seem troubled." Yatsuhashi spoke.

His team leader looked back at him from behind her shades. "Just wondering how those greenhorns are doing." She shrugged.

"They don't seem much." Fox commented, approaching his teammates.

"It's the first week of the new semester, Fox." The larger male spoke calmly. " I see greatness in them."

"Yeah. Keep saying that." The rusted skinned male snorted. "Some of them look like they won't be much." He then looked to the training room entrance, his teammates doing the same. "What's taking Velvet so long?"

Coco hummed. "Maybe she decided to eat in the cafeteria instead."

"Hey. You see what happened in the cafeteria?" A male spoke as he and another male entered the training room.

"Who the hell would miss that?" The other male snorted.

The first male shook his head. "I know, right. The way that Jaune guy took charge." He whistled.

"Those girls though." The second male grunted. "Kinda feel sorry for 'em. That bunny girl looked rather spooked after what happened."

"Hey." Fox was quick to speak up, approaching the two other males, Yatsuhashi and Coco right behind him. "What happened with the Faunus that you were talking about?"

"The rabbit Faunus." Yatsuhashi clarified.

The males looked at each other and back to the seniors.

"Well." The first one began. "A fight broke out, some guy bullying a rabbit Faunus, tugging her ear and all."

"Who was it?" Coco asked with a deadly calm tone, wondering who she needs to burry with bullet.

"A first year like us." The second male spoke. "But a dude with some blonde hair with purple dye or something jumped in."

"Arc." Fox spoke as he had seen that the younger male had the only hair type in the entire academy.

"That's his name." The first male nodded. "Just about ten minutes or so ago, they had left the cafeteria. We weren't there per say, but our friends were. Something about how she belongs to him." The male gave a good natured chuckle. "Hate to piss off the people that cares for that bunny girl.

Fox darted out of the room, aura pumping through his body.

"Fox!" Coco ran after him with Yatsuhashi pursuing.

The two boys looked at the seniors and blinked.

"I hope this didn't come out as a misunderstanding." The first male muttered.

"You know how shitty that would be?" The second male commented.

...

Velvet was still rather down. 'Why did I let that happen?' She asked herself. 'I could have defended myself, but...' She looked around the courtyard, having wanted to take some fresh air before going back to her team dorm.

"Are you feeling a bit better, Velvet?" Pyrrha asked.

"Just a lot on my mind." The rabbit eared female muttered, eyes casted down.

"I could understand why you held back." Jaune spoke. Feeling the rabbit Faunus' eyes on him, he continued. "What will they do if I fight back? Would they bully anyone else? What if they target someone else and do worse?" He looked at her. "I want to kick their asses. I want to them to stop before they do worse." He stopped and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Velvet. You're a beautiful and strong young woman. Don't let those weaker step all over you." He gave her a once over. "So how about I help you." He offered.

Velvet blinked at that. "What kind help?"

"Training of course." Pyrrha smiled. "Jaune and I were planning on night trainings. You're welcome to join as it would be open to all we know."

Velvet thought this through. It wouldn't hurt to learn more things. "I'm fine about learning knew things." She nodded.

Jaune nodded as he pulled out his scroll. "If it's okay, can I have your contact? That way we can make a schedule and include you into it. No way am allowing you to let yourself to get beaten." He muttered with a small frown.

Velvet managed a smile as she took his scroll and added her contacts. "I didn't get to thank you, huh?" She commented, handing the scroll back to the male.

"Not really needed." Jaune shook his head as he placed his scroll away. "It was the right thing to do." He then frowned. "It would be best that you are with your teammates whenever you go alone." He suggested. "I wouldn't put it pass Cardin to try something. I'm well aware of his family history and how he has connection with the Councilmen."

Velvet looked down, Jaune sensing her fear.

"Don't worry." Jaune smiled. "I'll do my best to train you."

Before Velvet could thank her junior, Pyrrha stepped up to Jaune's left, right hand glowing with a greyish aura just as Fox leaped out, a meter-long curved wrist blade from each arm stopping and holding him in mid-air.

"Fox!?" Velvet shouted in shock at her teammate.

"You're going to stay there for a while." The champion spoke with a glare aimed at the blind senior as he struggled to get out.

"Let me go!" The male grunted.

"What are doing?" Velvet just stood there in shock. She knew her teammate was the most aggressive, but not at this level.

"That's what I want to know too." Coco spoke as she and Yatsuhashi came up.

"Calm down, Pyrrha." Jaune felt his friends anger aimed the other two members.

"I'm calm enough." Pyrrha spoke as she sent the assailant to the larger male. "Keep a good hold on him." The champion practically ordered her senior, the gentle giant doing so to ensure that his hold was firm.

"Looks like we have to clear some misunderstanding." Jaune spoke.

"For your sake, it better be." Coco muttered.

"Then let me explain please." Jaune smiled.

"And that's what happened." Jaune finished explaining.

"Fuck, Buns." Coco muttered. "You know you could've defended yourself or even tell Goodwitch."

"I know." The rabbit Faunus sighed.

Coco sighed. She knew that her partner's rather shy and not so outspoken. "Knowing his damn family background, Winchester's gonna have this buried under the rug. From what I remembered, his family is what put in most money into funding Beacon too."

'A real shame.' Jaune thought. "Thank you for listening, Coco." Jaune smiled at his senior.

"No problem." Coco smiled. "Now Fox. Apologize."

"I don't need it." Jaune said.

"What?" Coco blinked.

"He won't mean it. So I don't need it." He locked eyes with Fox. "So when you're ready. You know where to find me." He looked to his friend. "Sorry to cut this short, but we need to go. I'm sure our friends are wondering what's taking so long."

"Yang's maybe making some jokes right now." Pyrha muttered.

"I hope their at least funny." He smiled. "I'll be seeing you all around. And do be careful."

With that, the duo made their way to their friends.

...

"What the hell was that, Fox?" Coco asked.

"Nothing." Fox grunted.

"Nothing?" Coco raised an eyebrow.

The team was done dressed and ready to rest, but Coco had other ideas.

"You just attacked a junior on campus." Coco spoke firmly, looking at her teammate's eyes from behind her glasses. "What the fuck were you thinking?"

"I thought he was acting funny!" The blind male raged.

"And you think it was a damn good idea to pull out Sharp Retribution on a fellow hunter in training!?" Coco shouted.

Fox grunted as he looked away, his tail flicking in irritation.

Coco fixed her glasses. "We need to fix this." She raised her hand, halting any type of protest from her male Faunus teammate. "No. You will apologize to him and you will mean it. Am I clear?"

The male Faunus grunted and huffed.

"Do I make myself clear, Hunter trainee, Alistair." Coco spoke firmly, no play in her tone.

"Yes…Team leader Adel." He gritted, clawed fingers almost piercing his palms.

Coco nodded. "Good. Now I want you to take those meditations with Yatsu. I know you're the aggressive attacker of our team, but you need to remember." She spoke soothingly as she placed her hands on the male's shoulders. "We're all fighting to keep this world safe from the Grimm."

Fox sighed looked down. "I know. It's just…"

"Ah. Ah. Ah." Coco patted her teammate's shoulder, the strength bellying her stature. "None of that."

Fox nodded.

Coco smiled. "Let's go, Buns. I'll make sure bring something for you two."

"I am well, thank you." The gentle giant smiled.

The two females bid their temporary good bye and left, leaving their teammates in the dorm.

Fox sighed as he walked to his bed and sat on it. "I don't trust him." He muttered, looking to his partner's direction. "I may be blind, but I'm no fool."

The taller male walked to the middle of their dorm room and patted the area before as he sat with legs crossed. "Please, friend. Sit with me."

Fox complied and did so, mirroring his friend's posture.

"Your aura senses are the highest among us, Fox. Your blindness is a gift that most would deny." He smiled. "I do not doubt your senses, but you mostly allow your emotions to drive you. You must try a gentler approach."

Fox nodded, having calmed down. "I'll...try." He sighed. 'I know what I felt when I looked at him.'

The form of Jaune standing in a growing swirl of gold, white, black, and purple.

'This Arc…is he even…human?' Fox thought.

Crash!

The girls and many of the students winced as another training bot crushed, broken, and then sent apart where the parts pelted the others.

"She must be really angry, huh?" Yang whistled.

"How would you feel if someone were to suddenly attack me?" Ruby raised an eyebrow at her sister.

"I'd definitely send them to the hospital." Yang muttered.

"See~" The silver eyed female pointed as the panting Pyrrha finished wrecking another wave of training bots.

"Had fun, darling?" Tock asked as the Mistralian champion walked out of the arena, wiping her face with a towel and wearing a red sports bra and matching color spats.

"I feel better." Pyrrha smiled

"I kinda feel sorry for the bots." Ilia muttered.

"I say we break his legs." Nora spoke, not all happy that her partner was attacked.

"It was just a misunderstanding." Jaune sighed.

"He attacked you." Ruby spoke.

"And I'm fine." Jaune replied with a smile.

It's been a few days since the incident and Jaune had convinced both his friends from attacking their senior.

"Alright, class." Sienna spoke, catching the first year's attention, Glynda overlooking how the Bangle Tiger was teaching. "That's it for now. Clear up and I'll see you next week."

"Not bad, Ms. Sienna." Glynda compliments, fixing her glasses before she went through her tablet. "Much better than I expected."

"I'm not really used to dealing with new recruits." She grunted, her eyes following a certain male. "But I like it here."

"I see." Glynda hummed.

RDP

"There we go." The man grinned as he had placed his son's weapon on a table. He held up his Grimm arm, holding a black pulsing orb with a four red cores orbiting within it. "Now for the final piece." He pressed the orb into the weapon and it was absorbed. The man grinned, proud of another weapon to make for his children. "Oh the joys of being a parent." He hummed, giving Jaune's weapon some touch up.

Jaune stood alone in the Emerald Forest, having told his friends that he had to something of family business.

"Thank for meeting me." Jaune spoke at the presence he suddenly felt behind him. He turned his head, seeing Neo with a withy smile. "So where's your boss?" He asked.

Neo tilted her head and pulled out her scroll. The screen lit up and the hooded female was shown with pink glowing eyes.

"Γεια σας, πρίγκιπα μου (Hello, my prince)." The female greeted.

"Ποιοι είσαι και γιατί μας στόχευες (Who are you and why did you target us)?" Jaune asked with a low tone, his eyes glowing, and the growls and snarls of Beowolves and Ursai emitting within the forest. Red narrowed eyes filled with malice and anger glaring at the tri-colored haired female.

"Μην βλάψετε τον αγγελιοφόρο μου (Please don't harm my messenger)." The hooded female spoke. " Θα ήθελα να ζητήσω συγγνώμη για τις ανόητες ενέργειες του αδελφού μου (I wish to personally apologize for my brother's foolish actions). Θα ξέρεις ότι τιμωρείται σωστά (I'll have you know that he is being properly punished)."

"Δείτε ότι τα χέρια και τα πόδια του σπάνε για μένα παρακαλώ (See that his arms and legs are broken for me please)." Jaume waved his hands, the glowing eyes fading away by his commanded. " Είχε εμένα, θα ήταν πολύ τραυματίες και θα τροφοδοτηθεί στο grimm (Had it been me, he would be greatly wounded and fed to the Grimm)."

'Definitely a man in charge.' Neo thought, relaxing a bit.

"Τώρα δείξτε τον εαυτό σας (Now show yourself)." He spoke.

Said hooded female stepped out from behind a tree. "Allow me personally say how sorry I am." The hooded female bowed her head in both to apologize and greet the young man. "And came with an offering."

"And that would be?" Jaune wondered.

The woman smiled under her hood before pulling it back. "I wish to offer myself as a tribute to you, my king."

Jaune raised an eyebrow as he looked to the female. Her hood down. "Okay. Why?"

The woman simply giggled. "I'm sure I can come with something to your enjoyment."

Jaune blinked, Neopolitan smiled. 'What did I just get myself into now?'

RDP

"Again." Jaune spoke, wearing his Beacon uniform and sitting on the bleachers as he watched Velvet match against Nina. Both female huntress was nimble and were almost evenly athletic, but Velvet had a bit of an edge over his teammate.

Jaune was also thinking of the female he talked to about two months ago. He was also keeping in contact with Amber, having contacted his mother.

His mother was happy to hear the news.

A small frown came to his face as he glanced to Nora. Judging by the negative emotions he picked now and then. She was putting up a front that was easy to see through if you paid attention. 'And I think I know who...' He thought.

There were times that Zhao was within hearing distance, purposely saying 'cursed child' and other not so nice things of the ginger. The prince had to hold himself back less he let lose.

That was something he didn't yet.

Another bother to his team, friends, and himself were Team CRDL and Team VOUZ.

They bullied others, but made sure that it was enough to get away with it.

There were few times when Glynda placed him or his friends against either of the two team members, they were getting a beat down.

Yang even broke the arm of Unefa Guri, a teammate of theirs.

That got her detention for a week, but she claimed it was worth it at how much of a trouble maker he was.

He was glad the Nora managed to face against Zhao and come out with some wins. He knew the male has a grudge against his partner, but what, he didn't know yet. And he was going bide his time on that.

First year students. Please come to VTOL docks for today's fieldtrip in one hour. I repeat...

Jaune looked up from his thoughts and sighed as he stood up. "Good work today, Vel." He complimented as he approaches his senior with a bottle of water. "You're doing much better than last time."

"Thank you, Jaune." Velvet flushed at the praise, wearing a brown sports bra and lighter toned spats. She accepted the bottle, drinking half in a few gulps. "It's thanks to your tips that I'm getting better." She smiled.

Jaune nodded. "You can take the rest of the week off to relax with your friends."

"I'll do that." The rabbit Faunus nodded. She then stepped up and hugs him, something she's been doing a month in now. "Thank you so much for this. "I feel better now and with more confidence." She sighed.

"Even a rabbit has fangs, luv." Tock grinned, showing her own metalic dentures.

Velvet giggled. "Coco's been upping our training too. So a break would do good for me." She stepped back, her cheeks a bit redder due to her action. "Well then. I'll be going." She waved and walked away, giving an unintentional sway in her hips.

Jaune couldn't help as he stared, a snort getting his attention.

"Enjoying those bun-buns?" Yang chuckled. She wore and orange yellow bordered tank top with black shorts.

Jaune coughed, rubbing the back of his head and chuckled. "I should get used to being around such beautiful and attractive women." He muttered.

"Damn right we are." Yang grinned.

Nora looked on and gave a small smile. 'I shouldn't let what happened bothering me.'

RDP

A-Alright students." A woman stuttered, the many first years standing before her. She jas caramel tanned skin and stands at 9ft tall and has antler horns on her head with round glasses over her plum colored eyes. She wears a white dress that leads down her body that shapes out her K-cup bust with a diamond shaped window that allows some of her tanned cleavage to be viewed, wide hips and big, plump behind. She has peach colored hair flowing down her back. "This is the Forever Fall. Oh. And I'm Celestia Peach. P-Please call me, Ms. Peach."

They had come of the VTOL at their destination of Forever Fall Forest. Like the name implies, it's a forest region located in Sanus that's in the constant season of 'fall'. Hence the name. it also has a train track that runs through it.

"N-Now students." The woman continued as she pulled out a tab similar to Glynda's. "Ms. G-Goodwitch has sent the list of teams that will work together for this assignment, which w-will be gathering the sap from the trees into these jars. One for each student plus an extra one in case one breaks. After I call the teams, take the jars." She fixed her glasses.

...

"Final team up. Teams RWBY and CRDL." Celestia muttered as she looked at the two teams, shivering as the full female teams, RYB, were glaring at the full male team.

Jaune sighed and rubs his head. 'They better not cause any trouble.' He thought, looking at Team TITE, the team that was paired with his.

"Now then." The Faunus spoke. "Go on and finish the assignment I would like for study them." She sighed.

"This looks like a good spot." Ilia hummed, patting a thick blood red tree with red and orange leaves.

"This forest amazing." Pyrrha smiled, liking the environment.

"You could find a nice place to relax and meditate." Nina hummed.

Jaune simply chuckled as he approached his partner. "We'll get something to eat after this assignment." He smiled. "I have a secret pancake recipe I'm sure you'd murder for."

Nora snorted, her positivity rising by the joke. "I wouldn't go that far."

"You make pancakes?" Tock asked.

"I'm one of the best cooks among my siblings and I." Jaune gloated.

"Prove it." Trifa challenged.

"I will, my little spider." Jaune spoke in a 'evil' tone. "Soon you all will be caught in my web of fluffy goodness." He chuckled.

"You read too much comics and manga." Ilia muttered, but stifled a laugh.

"Maybe I do." Jaune agreed with a nod as he pulled out his mother's blade. "Well then, ladies. Let's get started." He stabbed the tree at the base and held the jar over the cut, a pink sap pouring from the wound. "This smells…really good." He muttered.

"Never poked a Sap Tree before, Luv?" Tock asked with a grin.

Jaune shook his head after a few seconds, the scent of the sap having somehow gained all his attention. "Where my family and I live, trees like these don't exist. And whenever my father and I travel, he always says that certain sap trees has a special effect to my family. Never said which ones though." He removed the jar and sniffed the nectar again, his mind fogging over slightly.

"Maybe you have an allergy?" Nina questioned.

"One way to find out." Nora hummed as she dipped her finger in the jar and suck the nectar from her finger. Her eyes widened at the explosive taste. "This is almost as good as syrup." She muttered. "Mama should get some of it." She muttered.

Jaune looked into the jar, missing Pyrrha's sniffing her own nectar filled jar and shaking her head. "This should be good." He dipped his finger inside the sap and held up, inspecting for a few seconds. "Here goes." He stuck his finger into his mouth and licked the jam. He then froze, causing his friends to look at him.

"Uhm…Jaune?" Pyrrha called her team leader.

Jaune looked to his childhood friend, his eyes widened, pupils shrunk, and an expression as if he'd had an epiphany. "Everything I knew…was a lie." He muttered.

"Huh?" Ilia looked to taller human.

Without a second thought, he drank the rest of the nectar and sighed, his face smudged with the tree's fluid. After a few seconds, a giddy laugh escaped his lips. "Hihihihihihihi. Hahahahahahahah!"

Uncle Tyrian would be proud of that laugh.

"Jauney, luv?" Tock spoke in a slight hesitant tone, Fiona bleeped in concern, their instincts screaming in alarm as her ears flicked.

"O~h. This is good." Jaune looked at the reptilian Faunus with a wide smile. "You should try this, Tocky."

The Mohawk styled female flushed, coughing to hide it. "I don't see why-"

"You really need to try it out." Nora was right beside Fiona, shaking the jar as if the best drink nature can give.

"I...I..." Fiona looked at Jaune's eyes and let a small frightened bleep.

RDP

A metal door opened and closed, the sounds of footsteps were heard. "Have you learned your lesson, Talos?" The hooded female spoke with a small frown.

The large man grunted, his body twitching at uneven intervals as he was bound to the wall. "When will this punishment...end?" He grunted instead of answering.

"When I say so." The shorter robed female spoke with a firm tone. "Your task was to find information of Lady Jeanne." She hissed. "Not trash a fucking home like a rampart Tauraxe!"

"But I was doing what I believe was a good idea." The revealed Talos spoke his head down.

"And you believed that was a good idea?" Her robe shifted and her right arm came out, lightly tanned and nails painted blue with a long near transparent green sleeve. The hand and arm grew at an alarming rate, turning red and mechanically demonic before slamming it against the far larger male. "And that is the reason you're being punished." She snapped. "If I had let your punishment be decided by mother or eldest brother, you'd be dead. Do you see how lucky you are for me stepping up?"

"I…am grateful, my Lady." Talos muttered.

"As you should be." She muttered, turning around and walking out the room. "I'll come back for you in two days."

Talos gritted his teeth as he glared at the floor. 'Perhaps I should bring some an offering of sorts.' He plotted.

RDP

"Uhm..." Fiona's ears flicked as she and her teammates looks at Jaune. "Should we...stop him?"

Jaune a guzzled down another jar of nectar with a sigh, a large loopy smile on his face. "This is the greatest drink I've ever had!" He cheered, raising the empty jar.

"I think we should leave him enjoy himself." Ilia muttered.

The two teams having filled out their jars, Jaune having went to get an empty one to drink his refills.

Pash!

"Ah! What the fuck!?" Yang shouted.

"That sounds like Yang." Nina frowned.

"Some glass broke too." Tock muttered.

...

"You son of a bitch!" Yang shouted in rage, her lilac eyes now red with anger and tree sap in her hair. "Do you know how fucking long it's take to clean it?!"

Team CDRL were there laughing, Cardin holding his armored stomach.

"We're sorry." Sky snorted. "But that came from behind us." He pointed back and broke into a laughing fit.

At that moment, Team VOUZ began to laugh as they too came up.

"Good throw, Orlando." Venias laughed.

"I guess someone wants another broken arm on their team." Yang growled, cracking her knuckles.

"Don't waste your time with these ruffians, Xiao Long." Weiss sniffed.

"Weiss' right, Yang." Ruby agreed as she placed her hand on her sibling's shoulder to calm her down. "你可以打碎他的手臂 (You can break his arm later)." She whispered.

Yang nodded, taking deep breaths to calm herself.

Orlando's laugh died down as Yang was simply smiling at him. "What's so funny?"

"I just realized I don't mind another detention." She simply spoke.

Orlando snorted and shook his head as he walked away from the two teams.

"Where are you going?" Zhao called his teammate.

"Gotta piss." Was the reply he got.

Venias snorted as he kept his eyes on the angry gold tipped blonde. "You got something to say?"

Yang could only grin with malicious intent. "I can't wait for our little match."

Venias snorted with amusement. "You really think you can beat me?"

"Anything is beatable." Blake spoke.

"There we go." Orlando sighed after he was done with his business. Fixing his pants, he turned to go back to his team, but stopped at the sound of a crunch. As soon as he turned, a large black hand grasped around his torso and couldn't scream due to the sudden pressure around his chest and lungs. He gasps as he stared at the baleful yellow and red eyes associated with all Grimm. He tried to call out to help as the maw opened wider than it should and his head gone with a snap of his neck.

"Yang!" Nora shouted as her teammates and TITE arrived.

"She looks…gooey." Jaune snickered before to a big swig from the tree sap.

"Laugh it up, Feather Weight." Yang grumbled.

"You shmell…shwe~et too." The purple tipped blonde made some trippy walks and smiled as he took a big whiff. "I like shweet shmells." He giggled.

Yang blushed and coughed through her left gauntlet.

"Are you…intoxicated?" Weiss asked with an incredulous expression.

"I think the sap has some kind of alcoholic effect of sorts on him." Trifa spoke. "He drank quite a lot."

"You're joking." Blake deadpanned. "Tell me you're joking."

Ruby couldn't help but giggle despite the current situation.

"I'm nyut…intokshikates" Jaune looked to CRDL and V-UZ and squints his eyes. "Hm…one of yu ish mishing."

Just then, something was sent flying with a trail of blood and entrails in its path.

"Oh fuck!" Ilia spoke she and others looked at what happened to their fellow student after he fell with a meaty thud.

"I think I found him!" Jaune pointed the corpse of Orlando's torso with his intestines out along with his head and legs missing. "I think he's mishing some things." He squinted his eyes. "Aaaah loff of things."

Russell and Sky couldn't hold it any longer as they puked the contents from out of their stomach.

GOOOOUUUUUUH!

The sounds of heavy stomps caught their attention. The trees shook as more leaves seems to fall through tremors.

"We got Grimm incoming!" Venias shouted, pulling a collapsible javelin that doubles as a rifle.

Zhao grunting, drawing a dao that doubles as a long bladed heavy spear that connects with the sheath and a sniper.

Cardin heard stomping from their left and looked to see a looming figure ready to swing…

"Dove! Behind you!"

The male turned in time to be brutally smacked to the side with a loud crunching sound, his body flailing as it sailed and slammed against a tree and falling with a meaty thud.

The group saw what struck their schoolmate.

The hulking figure stood at 7ft tall, black skin bulging with massive muscles and patches of white bone pebbles. The chest was wider with bone plaring and four counted plated abs, and along the ribs sides. The upper arm was muscular and the lower was larger and has a bone plating from just below the elbow to the wrist and ended with four squared off fingers. Its legs were hind and human looking black feet. The head was that of a man, but was bone white and plated, red marking along the eyes and forehead with the lower jaw squared and filled with sharp teeth. To horns jutted from the sides of head, taking the form long tusk like horns that reach the length of ten inches.

A second one stomped out at the group's right, standing at the same height and build.

"Those are Trolls!" Blake warned.

"Aren't they normally in mountainous regions!?" Russel shouted.

"Guessed they went for redder pastures!" Yang rebutted, cocking her gauntlets.

"We got a third one!" Fiona bleated as a third one stomped out of the forest. This was by far the largest, standing at 10ft tall with a bulk to match. It has red scar like markings over its body and it's left horn was broken at the 3" while the other reached to 15". It also had fresh blood dripping from his lower maw.

"Alright JNNW!" Jaune shouts, looking up to the larger Troll. "I got papa Troll! Gonna give him a little exercise for the weight he just gained. Pyrrha! You take the one that smacked Dove like a rejected haystack!" He didn't pick up on the deceased male's teammates shouting at him.

"Got it!" Pyrrha called out.

"Nora and Nina. Take the third one!" Jaune added.

"Got it Jaune-Jaune/Right!" Nora and Nina affirmed.

"Yang back up Pyrrha!" Ruby ordered, pulling out Crescent Rose. "Weiss, Blake. Go tell Ms. Peach and be careful with other Grimm. With how the damn tree saps and negative emotions, there's bound to be more coming!"

"Illia, Trifa. Back 'em up." Tock commanded as she pulled out her weapons.

"Alright." The four females nodded and ran off.

"Fiona, you and I'll help with the big one. Your Semblance should help."

"O-Okay." The sheep Faunus nodded.

"Alright!" He shouted before taking a swig of the jar. "Gods this is smashing!" He laughed with a light slur. "And I appreciate the help!" He laughed.

"Is he seriously drunk?!" Venias shouted.

Jaune drew out his mother's blade as the shield opened up, a dark purple aura erupted from his from and gathered to his shield.

The Teams CR-L and V-UZ watched as the aura grew in size, forming the face of a malevolent visage.

"Shield Ba~sh!" Jaune had a loopy grin on his face as he tensed his legs and shot like a cannon, smashing his shield against the lead Troll.

The humans and Faunus watched as Jaune SLAMMED against the biggest Troll, sending them both deeper in the forest with Jaune shouting laughter's and the Grimm roaring...

In confusion.

Pyrrha was the only one that caught on to that and stifled her laughter.

The remaining huntsmen in training and the Grimm looked to wear the duo went and back at each other.

Ruby shook her head, readied her scythe, and leaped after them with Tock and Fiona following.

Yang took the chance and leaped at the targeted Troll, both her fists cocked back with Ember Celica locked and loaded.

Pyrrha targeted low, reaching and swiping at the Troll's left leg as said Grimm raised its left arm to block two fully charged shotgun shells from the Y of RWBY as it swung its right arm to clash against Pyrrha's blade, causing sparks to fly.

After the shotgun blasts and with a speed that belied its size and physic, the Troll grabbed Yang around her torso and swung her towards Pyrrha, both caught off guard by sudden action and tumbled along the orange/red ground of the forest.

The two females managed to untangle themselves and stood at the ready while their target growled at them, balling its large fists and giving a challenging roar.

Yang roared too, slamming her fists together and a fiery aura erupted around her as her lilac eyes burned red. "Let's take a second shot, hm?" Yang grinned.

"Right behind you." Pyrrha smiled before she tossed her shield at the Troll, her right hand covered in a grey black aura.

Yang reloaded her gauntlets and cocked them and rushed in just as the shield slammed into the Troll's chin, the champion having waved her hand to redirect her shield to duck under its blocking arm. The golden tipped blonde let out a roar as she slammed her left fist into the face, damaging the left cheek. "HOW! ABOUT! SOME! KNUCKLE! SANDWICHES!" She shouts with every blasting hit, cracking the Troll's face.

The troll growled, reaching to grab the female, but the shield came back and hit the hand away while the sword flew in and impale the other hand. It roared and waved its hand in an attempt to get the blade out and was still trying to shake Yang off its face. The Troll was not liking this at all, being matched by these two.

Especially the redhead. It feels...something from her.

A black glow emitted from the sword and was pulled out from the Grimm's hand, mecha-shifting to its rifle mode and unloaded a few shots into the eyes, blinding the Troll and making it roar in a mixture of pain and anger.

Pyrrha smiled. "Yang, get off now!" She shouted out.

The young female jumped back, sending a volley of explosive ammunitions into Troll's face.

The Troll swung its arms about, waving the smoke away with a growl.

"Yo!" Yang called its attention from below, striking it with a burning uppercut, sending its blinded sight upwards in time to receive a brain piercing stab from Pyrrha's blade. The golden tipped blonde whooped as the large Grimm fell backwards with a low groan, hitting the orange ground with a thunderous crash.

Pyrrha pulled her blade from the decaying Grimm. "Μπορείτε να συμμετάσχετε στους άλλους στην άβυσσο και να ανεβείτε ξανά (May you join the others in the abyss and rise anew)." She prayed softly. She then stepped off and looked to see Nina and Nora fighting the next Troll.

"Nora. Aim for the chest and face." Nina spoke as she used her Semblance to glide high.

"You got it." Nora responded as she mecha-morphed Magnhild to its grenade launcher mode and fired half a dozen shots.

The target was struck and shook its head, growling at the ginger and missing the other female from above.

"Got you now." Nina muttered, aiming her railgun at the Troll's legs and fired.

The Troll's left leg was pierced, the energy ammo tearing a small hole, causing the Grimm to stumble.

"Hah!" Nora shouted, taking the chance to slam her weapon against the Troll's left temple, smacking it sideways.

The Grimm growled, a small crack on the head.

"He's got a thick head." Nora commented.

"Then we'll hit harder." Nina spoke as she landed besides her friend.

The Troll growled, rubbing the temple as it stood tall and balled its fists.

Nora held her weapon and growled, electricity coursing through her body. "Let's go, big guy."

The Troll roars, charging towards the two females like an football player.

Nora met that charge with electricity running over body as Nina leaped up again with the help of her Semblance.

The airborne girl let some shots fly before her weapon shifted to its bident form and tossing it with all her strength.

The Grimm covered its face as one of the shot hit the tusk, the bident hitting is bone plated wrist.

"Raaah!" Nora slammed her war-hammer against the left knee, snapping the joint with incredible force.

The Grimm roared in pain, falling over and tumbling against tree. The Troll tried to move, but was being pinned down by Nina's shooting after she caught her weapon.

"Finish it off, Nora!" Nina shouted.

Green electricity bursts around Nora's body with intense sparks. She leaped forward, her muscles tensing as she held her weapon back. With a click a round was shot out, accelerating the force.

The last thing the Grimm saw was Magnhild hammerhead.

CRUNCH!

Venias looked at the half eaten corpse of Orlando as he gripped his fists. "We're gonna kill that Grimm, Zhao." He gritted.

"I'm with you on that one." His teammate growled, looking at the direction the four other huntsmen in training left.

"I'm going with you, the third teammate, Unefa, spoke.

Venias looked to his teammate and nodded his head. "Let's go."

"Hey!" Yang called out to the frozen Cardin. "Get your shit together!" She grabbed taller male by his shoulders and shook him.

Cardin and his teammates looked to her. "Wh-Wha..." He responded.

"Look." Yang sighed. "I know it's shit luck to what happened with our schoolmates, but we gotta get moving."

The howl of a Beowolf was heard in the distance.

"You think I don't fucking know that." Cardin spoke with a low growl as he glared at the Xiao Long. "A teammate of mine just died."

"Such is the life of a Huntsman." Pyrrha butted in as she saw how her friend was about tear the bully a new hole. "More Grimm are coming. They will target us not only because of the heavy negativity, but also the spilled sap." She looked unto Cardin. "So what will you do?"

"Fuck." Cardin muttered, taking deep breaths. "Guys..." He called his teammates. "We gotta go. Now. We'll need to make our way to VTOL."

"What about, Dove?" Sky asked.

"We'll have to leave him for now." Yang spoke. "Take his weapon and scroll to ensure that he's been ID'd as KIA."

"You can't just-" Russel started.

"You rather we carry his corpse?" The gold tipped blonde cut him off. "That will slow us down."

"You bitch." The Mohawk male growled out, hands gripping his daggers.

"That's enough!" Pyrrha shouted. "Sky. Grab Dove's sword and scroll now."

"R-Right." The bluenette nodded and ran off.

The male frowned and rubbed his face, glaring at the two females. "You do not order my team like that."

"You were doing a good job standing there like a mannequin." Yang shot back.

"That's enough, you two." Pyrrha cut in, standing between them. "We need to calm down and arguing will not help." She then focused on Yang. "Yang. I want you to carry Dove's body. The rest of us will ensure your safety."

"Fine." Yang nodded and made her way to the dead male.

"Cardin. The rest of us will go to the LZ and report to Ms. Peach if Weiss and Blake haven't told her already."

Cardin wanted to challenge the Nikos, but knew it was not the time nor the place. So he nodded.

"Good." She nodded and was about to call out to Venias and noted that neither him or his teammates were within the vicinity. "Must have gone after the others." She muttered.

Cardin also noticed it. "Probably went after the big one."

"I got the body. Let's go." Yang spoke, holding Dove's body in a fireman carry.

Pyrrha nodded and saw just as Nora finished off the Troll with a brutal head smash. 'Be safe.' She hoped.

"Pyrrha!"

RDP

"T-That's not good." Celestia muttered as she along with Weiss and Blake were returning to the spot where they encountered the Trolls. She pulled out scroll from her hat. "All students. Gather to the LZ. We will be leaving this assigned location after ensuring that Teams RWBY, JNNW, VOUZ, and CRDL are brought back. Keep a vigilant eye on other Grimm." The call was sent to all students. She then took a deep breath. "You said that you were dealing with Trolls, correct?" She asked with no stutter.

"That is correct Ms. Peach." Weiss nodded, mentally surprised by the change of her demeanor. 'She is a veteran huntress.' She mentally concluded.

"Three of them." Blake added. "Two of them at best 8ft while the largest one is 10ft with one of the tusk being broken."

"And you said mister Arc tackled the biggest?" She spoke in awe.

"I saw it and I still can't believe it." Weiss muttered, wondering of there really is something more to Jaune than meets the eye.

Blake looked ahead to field where they encountered the Trolls. She winces as she caught sight of Nora crushing the Grimm's skull.

"Pyrrha!" Weiss called out, getting the remaining teens' attentions.

"Students." The tall Faunus woman nodded. "My condolences to your schoolmates." She spoke.

"No problem." Cardin grunted. "What are you gonna do?"

RO~AR!

The group looked to the direction of the "All of you will be going with the rest of your team. I'll follow the others and back them. Miss Nikos will come with me since she is the most skilled person at the moment and has a solid head on her shoulders."

"Let me fight too." Cardin spoke. "That Grimm killed my teammate-"

"Then honor his death by living." The taller woman looked down at the male due to their height difference. "Now go. I'll deal with this."

Carding wanted to argue, but grunted instead. "Fine." He muttered. "Let's go, guys." He walked off, Sky and Russel following him.

"Glad that's done." Yang commented. "Good luck, Ms, P. P-money." Yang waved her hand, confident in the two.

Celestia looked at as the small group of huntsmen trainee went to the LZ, knowing that Goodwitch, Oobleck, and Port are well on their way. The woman then closed her eyes, took a deep breath and exiled. She then opened her eyes, looking at the direction that students went to fight the Troll. "I'm going to catch up to you." She spoke as she began to walk.

"You can try." Pyrrha grinned.

An Alpha Beowolf suddenly leaped from Faunus' left, maw wide open and claws ready to tear through aura, flesh, and bone.

Her left arm lashed out, grasping the bipedal lupine Grimm by the skull mask.

Instantly, the Alpha began to trash, the threatening growling turning into a whimper of pain as cracks began to form spread along the mask and upper jaw.

The woman didn't even bat an eye, the skull was crush as if being a rotten watermelon. Gazing at the decomposing Alpha, she 'tsk', dusted her hands of the black dust. "You maybe the '2nd', but I am the strongest." She smiled.

"Oh. This is so on." Pyrrha growled with a challenging glint in her eyes.

The two then ran ahead, taking out whatever Grimm was foolish to be in their way.

RDP

Ruby, Tock, and Fiona reached a large grass land, and stopped at an unbelievable sight.

BRAAAAGH!

Jaune watched as the Troll puked whatever it contents it had its stomach as he nurses his jar of maple.

"Ew…" The prince grimaced at the sight of the remains. "You need to get back to eating normal animals." He muttered, taking a swig from the sap.

The Troll grunted and gruff as it stood tall.

"I'll…have you know that THIS ish the bhest drink evaaa!" Jaune proclaimed, raising the jar high. "And your not getting any. Itsh myne.

"Jaune!" Ruby shouted.

Jaune blinked and looked to the trio. "Oh. Hey girls!" He called with a wave.

"Look out!" Fiona shouted.

A large hand wrapped around his body. "O~h!" He was suddenly picked up and looked at by the Troll. "You're…not mad about…the whol smashin you wish the shield….right?"

The Troll grunted, raising his prince higher and pulling his arm back just as the three females rushed forward.

'At least throw me somewhere soft.' Jaune thought.

As if reading Jaune's mind, the Troll tossed the prince of his kind towards the rushing trio.

"Look out!" Ruby warned, using her semblance to break apart into rose petals while, Fiona and Tock caught the tossed male.

The trio tumbled over each other breaking through some bushes.

No one noticed the handle of the blade hooking unto Fiona's shirt and Jaune's hand hooked into Tock's pants.

...

"Guys!" Ruby called out it worry.

The Troll then set its sight on the silver eyed girl and let out a bellowing roar.

"Bring it, you over grown ugly Garden Gnome." Ruby challenged, her scythe ready to cleave through the Grimm

The Troll seems have taken offense to that and huffed angrily at the insult.

*BLEEEEEEEE~~~~~~~~EEEEEET?!*

The two stopped at the sudden shout and looked at the direction.

The two combatants looked at each other and was ready to throw down, The Troll for his prince and kind and Ruby for her friends.

The Troll growled lowly, ready to rush at the silver eyed female and paused as it caught a scent. Without a word, the Grimm swung it's left arm, smacking someone away.

"AAAAH!" The person that suddenly appeared after being smacked was Unefa, sailing through the air before hitting a tree.

The Grimm huffed just as two blurs rushed out the bushes, revealing them to be Venias and Zhao. The two swung their weapons, forcing the Troll to block them with his bone plated wrists.

Ruby appeared in flutter of rose pedals, scythe aimed to decapitate the Grimm.

Much to trio's shock, the Troll swing his arms out, knocking the two males away and blocking the scythe…

With the unbroken tusk.

Ruby was knocked from the force as she felt a shock rush the through her arms.

Unefa rushed in with his claymore in hand and swung at the Grimm's neck as the young Rose was sent flying from the Troll's counter.

The Grimm turned, maw opened, bit down on the blade was instantly shattered by the force, shocking many, especially Unefa since his weapon was made to withstand immense pressure and force.

"Unefa!" Zhao shouted, as he and his teammate rushed forward just as the Troll capitalized on the unarmed male's shocked state.

The Grimm grabbed the male by the head and raised him up, holding him tightly as the human struggled in his grasps.

That instantly stopped the duo as the Grimm held the human. The Troll gave a guttural chuckle, seeing the human's standing still.

"He's actually holding a hostage." Zhao grunted with annoyance and surprise.

The Troll made gestures with his empty hands, indicating that the Grimm wanted the youths to drop their weapons

"Fuck you!" Venias denied.

The Grimm growled, squeezing Unefa's head, causing to male to groan in pain.

"Let's drop 'em." Ruby suggested.

"What the hell?" Zhao turned to the younger female as she was still rubbing her arms. "You want us to do what that mindless monster wants us to do?"

"That 'mindless monster', as you put it, has your teammate in death grip!" Ruby shot back.

Zhao and Venias stood there and grunted, dropping their weapons in the process.

The Troll grumbled something, glancing between its hostage and the humans. Focusing on Ruby while keeping a firm hold on Unefa, it gestured for the young Rose to close her eyes.

"Wait what?" Ruby blinked in confusion. "You want me to close my eyes?"

The Troll shook Unefa and growled while nodding.

Suddenly, a katana-like weapon flew, piercing right under the bone plating of the hand holding the hostage, the Troll roaring as it released the grip.

"Got ya!" Jaune shouted, sliding just under and catching the male. "Oh. That doesn't look good." He muttered, seeing that Unefa's neck has a few puncture wounds. "Hope he lives."

The Troll growled, pulling the blade from below the plate and tossing it aside.

"You okay, Fiona?" Tock stepped out, her face slightly flushed with a dark green hint as she fixed her pants belt.

"I-I am." The sheep Faunus bleated with a red face, her ears flickering as she adjusted her shirt. A short bleat came from her mouth as she looked down.

"What the hell were three doing?" Venias asked in anger as he looked at how the two girls were dressed.

"Nothing important." Jaune replied as he ran and handed the male his teammate. "You guys should go. We'll handle big daddy Troll."

"You can't just come here after what I'm sure you did and boss us around some kind of-"" Zhao began.

"You're teammate's life is on the line you're bitching about Jaune might be getting some action?" Ruby shouted out as she kept her eyes on Troll. "For all we know, his weapon caught in their clothes while they were tumbling."

"That's…oddly accurate." Jaune blinked. "So you're taking him or not? He's getting lighter by the minute and breathing's getting shallow."

Venias took his Unefa and nodded. "Fine. He better survives."

Zhao grunted and followed his leader. "I'll be seeing you."

Jaune simply scoffed. "As if you're strong enough to beat me."

Zhao snorted and the trio ran ahead in hopes to saving their teammate.

"What's his problem?" Tock wondered.

"Not sure." The prince of Grimm shrugged as he pulled out a full jar of syrup. Before he can take a sip, it was quickly snatched by the silver eyed female.

"No." She spoke with a huff. She saw him pouting and put the jar away. "No drinking until after we take care of the big lug."

Jaune took a deep breath, looked at those silver eyes directly, and gave a loopy grin. "Okay, dear."

Ruby's face burned red for a few seconds before the chortle of the Grimm caught her attention. "Did you just laugh at me?!" She shouted in

The Troll simply huffed before running off into forest.

"Hey!" Ruby shouted. "Come back here!"

"Smart guy." Tock muttered, sheathing her scimitar blade and going to get her katana.

Jaune laughed loudly at this. "That's what you get for messing with these beautiful and deadly women!" He shouted out, not noticing the blushes on the females' face.

"Jaune!" Pyrrha shouted as she and Celestia came running from another direction.

Jaune's eyes shone at the sight of his childhood friend and grinned. "Hey, Pyr." He waved.

"I-it's good to see you a-all w-well." The tall woman looks about. "W-Where are the others?"

"Oh." Fiona jumped at that. "You just missed 'em."

"We should leave now before-" Tock began.

RUMBLE!

The group tried to keep their balance as the ground around them began to shake.

"That's not good." Jaune muttered as he took a sip of the jar.

"When the hell did you get that?!" Ruby questioned loudly in surprise.

"I have my waAAAAA~YS!" He spoke before he suddenly fell through the grassy floor, having sank in when he took a step forward.

"Jaune/Mr-?!" Pyrrha and Celestia cried in shock before she let short yelp, falling down a sudden pit.

"Pyrrha-AH!" The young Rose fell through as well.

"What the hell?" Tock muttered as she suddenly fell down the ground followed by Fiona bleating in fear.

The rumbling stopped and all was calm.

RDP

Deep in an underground bunker, filled with lights and a long corridor.

At the end is a container with a sole enclosed one person chamber, the lights around it only showing the silhouette of a female figure with large feline ears.

'Jaune. Please be safe.' The female thought.

AND THAT WAS THAT. SORRY FOR THE LOOOONG WAIT. REAL LIFE AND ALL THAT. UNTIL NEXT TIME.
