It's so nice to have a capable assistant that doesn't feel the constant need to snark and insult you. Drakken thought as he prepared to hunt down Shego and that infernal Kim Possible. The hover pods were so much more comfortable with plush armchairs at the helm, and they looked far more intimidating with the new catsnake design laser turrets, currently modified to spray out the goo that Amy-kins had developed to turn the two super-powered females into harmless little kittens.
They think they're all that, but they're not! AMY-KINS IS!
A ding from his oven told Drakken that the chocolate chip cookies were ready to be packed up for their picnic lunch along with plenty of coco-moo to go with them. There was already fried chicken, a fruit salad, and chips squared away; all he needed to do was set the cookies on top and they were all set—oh, and he had to remember to pack the tuna for the kittens too; they'd be so hungry after they got transformed.
Or maybe they should stop by the store and pick up some cat food on the way. Yeah that's the way to do it… unless Amy-kins had some to spare. He'd have to ask after she woke up from her nap. She was always so cranky if she didn't get her nap in.
Ah, there's the alarm for Amy to wake up! Drakken thought as he heard the woman's roosterpig alarm clock go off in the other room. Just in time to check the tracking satellites once again to confirm the location of his quarry before they left to turn them into cats and then have a nice picnic in the nature park the two women were hiding in.
Nothing could go wrong with this plan, nothing.
Nothing could go right today, and Kim Possible knew it.
That sense of doom had started with the arrival of her parents, along with the most embarrassing pictures ever taken of her, and grew with them delving into every single one of them—all topped off with the lovely little added twist of that humiliation taking place in a naturalist compound, like some nightmare about showing up for a History test in her underwear, only a thousand times worse. It was the perfect setup for a wonderful disaster to come sweeping in and top it all off. A part of her was hoping it was something she could take care of, just for the simple fact of getting away from those accursed photo albums.
There was one bright side to her humiliation; her girlfriend was suffering right alongside her. Shego was glaring at the group in general, and in particular the woman that had given her life. Her mother was enjoying this more than she felt the woman should.
"And just look at her now Carmen, just like you were in college..." Anastasia commented after a particularly embarrassing picture. This seemed to catch the green woman's attention as she leaned in closer while the doctor was talking. "Right down to the way you both trimmed up a cute little landing strip!"
Maybe there was a nice large rock she could hide under and die? That sounded nice right about now. She'd just move in there with Shego and they'd rot away peacefully from embarrassment.
"I have to admit Ana, that I was surprised to hear from you," Anne admitted with a warm smile as she patted the other doctor on the knee. "Especially when I heard you had kids. I suspected something when your daughter stayed with us previously, but I couldn't bring myself to ask."
"Well she has always been a bit hard-headed, so I suppose that you could see a bit of me in her, but after college, I guess we both moved on..." Anastasia answered with a fond look to her daughter before giving out a dry chuckle. "Imagine my surprise when our daughters decided to hook up Anne, it was like college coming back to haunt me."
"Oh, I can just imagine," James cut in while giving his wife a half-smile and raised eyebrow. "You two were always up to some sort of mischief. I remember one time..."
"That's enough James, I'm sure that the girls have had enough for today," Anne admonished her husband before turning to her daughter and the one the thief she'd obsessed over for a few years now. She knew this day was coming, but hadn't known all that it would entail. "I must say Kimmie, that I never would have imagined all of this. But I will support you in any way possible."
"I know mom, you've always been there for me with the whole saving the world thing... these powers are just a new addition to it I guess..." Kim started only to cut off by the knowing smile and soft laugh of her mother.
"I meant your relationship with Pollyanna, Kimmie-cub," the older woman stated gently, getting a blush out of her daughter.
"Oh, well I suppose there is that too..." Kim answered as she looked over at her long time rival and recent girlfriend. So much had happened in such a short time, it seemed that there was just no time to sit back and realize all that had happened to her. She'd been turned into a cat, 'adopted' by her arch nemesis, turned back into a human, nearly got killed by same nemesis after being mistaken as a cat-napper, gained super powers, and fallen in love. Not what she had planned for this summer at all, but she wasn't about to complain.
"Kimmie, I know that you think this is no big, but you have to remember that you are a very public figure, and the press is going to be all over this," Anne continued softly as she watched her daughter's eyes linger on the green woman for a moment longer. "I just want to make sure that this is what you want."
Kim was silent as she regarded the woman that had entered her life as an enemy so long ago and had grown beyond that in these past few months. Was this what she wanted? There was just so many things that had changed in these past few weeks, she couldn't help but wonder if maybe she was rushing into things. However, the smile that Shego shot her, and the warmth she felt building in the very core of her being reminded her that there was no rush with this one. "I don't know for sure mom, but... I think I want to explore this more."
"Just be careful, you can be hurt too remember," Anne chided softly as she pulled her daughter into a hug, before pulling away and continuing. "Now about these powers of yours..."
Kim let out a soft laugh as she realized that no matter what, her mother would always be a mother. As she settled in to explain what's been happening, and what changes these powers meant to her life, she couldn't help but wonder what ever happened to Joss.
It wasn't like she could know that her cousin and host were being grilled by her uncle in a manner far worse than she was getting. At least until one took into account that there were no mothers to mitigate the father's protective instincts.
"WHAT IN TARNATION DID YA THINK Y'ALL WERE DOIN'?!" Slim shouted, his usual cool demeanor removed in favor of scolding his errant daughter at the top of his lungs.
"Now Pa, I was tryin' t' help Kim," Joss answered, thankful for the half-wall she was hiding behind while her father looked away. "The ranger 'n I are keepin' an eye on things otherwise."
Leaving that discussion of discomfort miles, and miles behind us, we find Drakken and Amy flying towards the forest with a hovercraft loaded with a sprayer and a basket of picnic goodies. "Oh Drakkie-poo! This is going to be so much fun! With two new cuddle buddies!"
"Anything for you Amy-kins! And that it will be the traitorous Shego and that infernal Kim Possible will just make it all the sweeter," the blue skinned man crowed happily as he pulled her into a hug. He beamed happily as he lined them up with the flight path he had logged to avoid planes.
He was a villainous genius, not a villainous idiot.
"Soon, very soon will be mine!" Drakken cackled as their destination drew closer and closer. Seeing the scanner showing that there were many humans in the area, he turned to Amy, seeing her beam happily as she bounced happily in her seat, "Will this affect anyone else in the area?"
"It's coded for those that have been exposed previously Drakky-Wakky!" she squealed happily as she clapped happily. "It'll just be Kimmy and the green meanie! So we can just spray the entire forest to be sure we get them!"
"No need to go overboard, we'll spray the targets and then land to take them back with us," Drakken assured her with a calm smile. "We can have a picnic after we capture them.
"How wonderful! Kimmie-Cub is going to look so adorable when we're done!" Amy chirped.
With the perfect plan in motion, they lined up for their final run on the targets, homing in on their biosignals. Coming to the clearing, he cackled as he pressed the release button, just as the pair turned to see his hovercraft bearing down on them.
As he pulled up from the strike, he watched as the both attempted to blast the goo out of the air, only for it to be snuffed and the two of them coated in the goo. This was perfect! Win for Amy and Drakken!
Turning around, he began the landing procedure to go gloat to the two newly hypoallergenic cats. Huh… where were the clothes? No matter! Probably just absorbed into the body. Amykins was awesome like that.
Approaching the neon green piles of goo, he smirked as a part of it began to bulge, only to freeze as the clawed hand ripped free. That wasn't the small cat he'd asked for.
One green tinted arm clawed its way for purchase to pull the rest of itself free, when an orange one erupted out of the other lump. Oh dookie…

AN: Hey guys, sorry this took so long, and the change in writing style. I fear that I lost my interest in the story, however I had this scripted out to the end and made a promise to at least try to finish it. Originally a third story was planned out, but I won't be doing it. If you want to reach out to me on tumblr I'll talk to you about any concepts I may have and would love to see what comes next if you want to share the link with me. Until next time all - SilentMagi
