"Good morning to my favorite family!" Krystal smiled as she greeted the Tasker-Montgomery family into her restaurant.
Marissa returned the smile. "Hi, Krystal. Good morning."
"Morning, Krystal." Bianca added in greeting as the family made their way to their table.
"It's good to see you, Gabby. Are you feeling better?"
"Uh huh, lots. Mommy says I can have pancakes. Do you make them into different shapes like Mommy does?"
Krystal chuckled. She'd heard her daughter had gotten quite good at making the children's pancakes in different animal shapes. "Well, I don't normally, and that's probably because I'm not as good at it as she is. For you, AJ and Miranda though, I'll try my best. Opal's here today too so maybe she can help me."
The three children smiled brightly and started thinking about what animals they would want.
"I saw your interview last night, Bianca."
"She was great, wasn't she?" Marissa grinned proudly.
Bianca blushed. "I don't know about that."
"Oh, I have to side with Marissa on this one. You were great. I have to tell you that I'm just so happy about the decision. It's about time."
"Well, I have to agree with you on that last part. It is long past time." Bianca smiled as she lifted Danny from his carrier, the boy giggling as she did so. "Would you like to hold him?"
Krystal's eyes lit up as she happily took her grandson from her daughter-in-law. "Like you have to ask. He is growing like a weed."
Marissa nodded as she looked at all four children. "Yes, he really is. All of them are."
"Yeah, they most certainly are."
A server came over to the table. "I'm sorry to interrupt, Krystal, but they need you in the kitchen."
Krystal sighed and handed Danny back to Bianca. "Back to work. Deb, take good care of them for me."
The server smiled. "I will. Can I get you something to drink while you look at the menus?"
"Yes, please. Three chocolate milks, and a coffee and orange juice. B?"
"That sounds good. I'll have a coffee and orange juice as well please."
"Alright. Let me get those for you and some activities sheets for the kids."
"Thank you."

"Oh, look who it is! It's Bianca Tasker-Montgomery!
"Oh my gosh, you're right it is! I saw her on TV last night!"
The one woman slapped the other on the arm. "Get out! Me too!"
"Mom?"
Bianca looked at her oldest daughter. "Yes, Miranda."
"What are Aunt K and Aunt G doing?"
"They are being really silly." Bianca sighed as she looked at her sister and cousin who were now both sporting huge grins.
Marissa chuckled. "Nothing unusual there."
"Very true. Obviously, you're feeling better, Greenlee."
Greenlee nodded as she and Kendall pulled up chairs to the family's table. "I am. No double vision or headaches today, and the light isn't bothering me nearly as much as it did a couple of days ago. Plus, it also helped that Kendall busted me out of the house. Ryan means well, but he was starting to drive me nuts." She turned her attention to the youngest female at the table. "You are looking really good, Gabby."
The girl beamed. "Thanks! You too, Aunt G!"
The response drew a chuckle from Greenlee. "Thank you. I have to say that this is a pretty good looking table."
"I have to agree with you." Kendall looked around and nodded as she tickled her youngest nephew. Danny giggled and waved his arms. "Your interview was great, Binx. You did a great job." She nodded towards Marissa. "And I can tell this one is very proud of you."
"You would be right, Curly. I am. I always am though."
"Yeah, she kind of has a way of making everybody that knows her feel that way about her." Kendall could tell her sister was getting a little uncomfortable, as she always did, with the praise so she decided to change the subject. "Where's Jessica?"
"Oh, she's on a date with Caleb." Marissa answered.
"Like a date date?" Kendall asked.
"Yep. She acknowledged that it was a real date."
Bianca nodded. "And she was pretty excited about it. It was really cute."

Erica breezed into the restaurant and over to the table where her daughters were sitting.
"Good morning, Mom. I hope you don't mind that we went ahead and started. The kids were hungry this morning." Bianca said as she hugged her mother.
"Good morning, sweetheart. That's fine. I wanted you all to go ahead." Erica then hugged her oldest daughter. "Good morning, Kendall dear."
"Morning, Mom. Let me get you a chair." Kendall grabbed a chair not being used at a nearby table.
"Greenlee, good morning. It's good to see you out."
"Thank you, Erica. It feels good to be out."
"Good morning, Marissa."
"Morning, Erica."
The diva glanced at the plates in front of AJ, Miranda and Gabby. "What are earth are those supposed to be?"
"Animal-shaped pancakes!" AJ answered with a grin.
"What kind of animals exactly?"
"Mine are shaped like an octopus." AJ proudly displayed his plate and pointed out the tentacles.
Miranda showed hers next. "Mine are shaped like whales."
"I've got sea horses." Gabby beamed.
Marissa chuckled seeing the doubtful expression on Erica's face. "Opal made them."
Erica nodded in understanding. It made sense then. She supposed if you squinted hard enough they might look like the animals the children said they were supposed to be. 'Might' and 'squint' being the operative words. "Of course she did." She addressed the children. "They look lovely and very appetizing."
"I'm sure Opal could make you some if you want, Mom." Kendall smirked seeing how her mother looked at the pancakes.
"No, I'm fine, dear. I'll just have some fruit. I do have my wedding dress to think about." Erica eyed her oldest daughter who just continued to grin. The diva sighed knowing Kendall would never change, and she supposed she wouldn't change that for anything. "Thank you all for coming today. There are just a few wedding plans that I want to go over with you."
"Am I allowed to hear this? I'm part of Jack's party after all. Zach and Ryan are wanting us to do shots before the ceremony. That's pretty much all the planning that's been done on that side." Marissa asked with a teasing smile.
Erica chuckled. "Yes, you are allowed to hear this, and while it may be true that you are part of Jack's party, dear, you have an important role. You see, I'm depending on you to keep the men in line. Considering what Zach and Ryan have planned, I'm definitely going to need you."
"Yikes. Good luck with that, Red." Kendall smirked.
Marissa laughed. "Wow, you don't ask for much, do you, Erica? Alright, you can count on me. I'll do my best."
"Thank you. I expect no less." Erica nodded.

With the wedding planning done for the day, the group continued to sit and talk. Gabby kept everyone entertained with jokes, and it was evident that she was healing extremely well, much to everyone's relief and delight.
"Oh, it's you. I suppose you're happy with your performance last night and that you got your 15 minutes of fame while destroying the institution of marriage. Good day all around for you, your people, and the gay agenda."
The group glanced up and saw a woman that they were, unfortunately, all too familiar with. She, in turn, was sneering at one member of their group in particular, Bianca.
"I tell you what, minions, let's go see Opal and thank her for those awesome pancake designs." Marissa glanced at her wife before hustling the kids away. The quick glance told her that Bianca was on the same page as her. Neither wanted their children to have to listen to Tammy Baldwin spew her hate-filled words. As Marissa walked away holding Danny and following their older three children, she heard Tammy comment.
"Oh, your 'wife' is running away I see. I guess she can't handle the truth." Tammy smirked as she used air quotes when she had said wife.
Bianca looked at the woman with distain. With her children out of earshot, the brunette cleared her throat and addressed the other woman as she desperately tried to keep her temper in check. "Really?! You honestly think that Marissa is afraid of you? I've lost count as to how many times she has verbally kicked your ass so there is not a chance in hell that she is scared of you or is running away. The only reason she left was because she didn't want our children exposed to your ignorance and hate. I wouldn't worry though about seeing her again. Knowing my wife like I do, she'll be back because you of all people do not frighten her one bit. In the meantime, let's talk about a couple of things that you said. First of all, I'm very happy and proud to say that Marissa is my wife, and thanks to the Supreme Court's ruling yesterday, that is something that is now recognized by every state. Does that make me happy? You better believe it. If by my people you mean human beings, I'd say, yeah, we're pretty happy with the decision. As for destroying the institution of marriage, nothing could be further from the truth. We just want the same rights as everyone else. No more, no less. I honestly don't see how that destroys anything. Now as to the gay agenda, I can't share that with you because then you would know our plans for world domination. My people can't have that. If I told you the plans, I'd have to … well, you know."
Kendall and Greenlee snorted at Bianca's sarcastic remark.
"Oh please, you actually believe that, don't you?" Bianca asked incredulously seeing Tammy's wide-eyed expression. "Wow. There is no gay agenda. We want what everyone else wants. We want to be happy and love who we want."
"But it goes against the bible. It's Adam and Eve not …"
"For the love of. Would you stop with the tired phrase already?" Bianca shook her head. She was truly tired of hearing that phrase. It was like fingernails on a chalkboard to her. "You'd think after all this time you could come up with something more original."
"Taminator, don't you know that actually it is Adam and Steve now too." Greenlee grinned.
Kendall patted her friend's arm excitedly. "Oh, I saw this one comment on Twitter. It was something along the lines of 'it's Adam and Eve, Adam and Steve, and Eve and her awesome girlfriend'."
Greenlee cracked up. "Oh my god, I love that! We need a woman's name that rhymes with Adam."
"Oh great, you two." Tammy rolled her eyes.
"Hi, Tamster!" Greenlee waved happily as she rested her head on Kendall's shoulder.
"Did you miss us, Tamarita? I have to tell you that we really didn't miss you." Kendall grinned. "It's actually been really nice not seeing you."
Erica was going to intervene initially but quickly saw that Bianca was handling the situation quite well. Now, the diva was just confused by Kendall and Greenlee and how close they were sitting to each other. She had to admit though that the two were highly entertaining at the moment.
Bianca rolled her eyes but couldn't help but be amused by her sister's and cousin's antics.
"My name is Tammy!" The woman huffed, clearly frustrated by the other women.
"Hi, Tammy. I'm baaaccck." Marissa leaned forward and greeted the other woman.
Tammy jumped hearing her name and her eyes grew wide when she whipped around and saw the redhead.
"Heeerrrrrrreeeee's Marissa!" Kendall smirked evilly.
"Rocky doesn't looked scared to me, Kendall."
"Me either, Greenlee. She looks really pissed. You know what's funny? Tamarella is the one that actually looks really scared right now. "
"True that. She doesn't seem as brave with Rocky right there."
"That's what happens when you're all talk. Now, Red, she's talk and action."
"Probably why Bianca likes her so much."
Kendall sighed and glared at her friend. "You just couldn't help yourself, could you? You had to go there."
Greenlee grinned mischievously. "Nope and yep!"
"Stop! I'll call the police!" Tammy shrieked.
"What? Why? I haven't done anything." Yet, Marissa thought. "You're the one who came in and caused a scene. We were just sitting here and enjoying our breakfast, not causing any problems."
"Your kind isn't wanted here."
"Excuse me, but who the hell are you to say who is and isn't allowed in my restaurant?" Krystal appeared next to her daughter.
"This is supposed to be a family establishment."
"I welcome diversity here, everyone is welcome here including families. And that, whether you want to believe it or not, is exactly what they are, a family. Look, we've done this before so let's just cut to the chase. They are welcome, and quite frankly, you are not."
"You can't do that."
"Yes, I can. I reserve the right to refuse service, and that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm refusing to service you. You have come in and disturbed my patrons. That means you are the problem and need to go, and take your homophobic opinions with you on the way out. They have no place here, especially when you're saying them to my daughter and daughter-in-law."
"Your daughter?! Aren't you offended or ashamed of her?"
Krystal glanced at her daughter and smiled. "Quite the contrary, I'm really proud of her. I'm also proud of my daughter-in-law. They have the kind of the marriage that we should all be so lucky to have, that we should strive for." Krystal turned back to Tammy. "As for you, like I said before, you need to go."
Tammy looked at Krystal in disbelief. "You can't do that."
"Yes, she can. I believe she explained herself quite well." Erica spoke up. "And I can assure you that she will be well represented legally should you try and cause any trouble." The diva then gave Tammy the patented Kane death glare that had the woman literally starting to shake in her shoes. "As for you, if you ever threaten my family again or speak to them like that, you will regret it. That's not a threat, that's a promise. If you know anything about me or ask anyone who does, you'll know that I always keep my promises."
Tammy gulped and squirmed under the diva's glare.
Krystal looked at Erica and nodded her thanks for backing her up on the legal side. "Now, leave before I call the police, and do us both a favor and don't come back. I'll just have to throw you out again."
"Fine." Tammy huffed when she finally managed to collect herself. "I'll take my business elsewhere."
The restaurant owner waved her off. "That's more than good with me because trust me, I don't want it. Dealing with you is just not worth the price."
Tammy stormed out, and her departure was met with applause and cheers by the restaurant's patrons.
Krystal waved in acknowledgement before turning to Marissa and Bianca. "I'm sorry you have to deal with people like her. At least, the kids didn't hear any of that."
"No, they didn't. Thanks for what you said. You're taking a risk, you know? She could easily cause problems for you. I know how much this restaurant means to you and how much you depend on the income from it." Marissa stated slightly worried for her biological mother.
"I don't want you to worry about me. You mean more to me than this place, and I meant every word I said. I am so proud of you and the person you've become, and Roy and Lydia would be proud of you too. You have a beautiful and loving family that you always put first and a successful career where you are helping others. What's not to be proud of?"
"Thank you, and thank you for letting the kids stay back in the kitchen and away from all of this." Marissa said gratefully.
"You're welcome. I just wish it didn't have to be done. I'll go get the kids and bring them back out."
"If Tammy does try and cause you problems, I'll be here to help."
"I appreciate that. She won't know what hit her if she tries."
"You're right, she won't. Thank you, Krystal." Bianca added as Krystal smiled and walked away.
Marissa took her seat next to Bianca and looked at her wife carefully. "Are you okay?"
Bianca exhaled and nodded. She was finally able to relax now that Tammy was gone. The woman grated on Bianca's nerves. The brunette couldn't stand even the sight of her, and for someone who tried to see the best in others, that was saying something. "Yeah, I'm good." Seeing her wife's skeptical look, Bianca smiled and tried her best to assure her. "I am, trust me. She only started to get to me when she was talking about you and how you were running away because you were scared of her and the 'truth'. The other stuff she said was nothing new. Unfortunately, I've had to deal with her and people like her for a very long time."
The redhead pulled her closer. She knew her wife was right. In the time she had been with Bianca, Marissa had had to deal with the looks and comments of others, and it was something she knew her wife had been dealing with for far longer than her. "I know. I still really hate it though, and I hate seeing you upset even more."
"The same goes for me where you're concerned."
"You handled yourself quite well, Bianca." Erica told her youngest daughter, the diva's pride evident.
"You really would've been proud of her, Red."
"I have no doubt. I always am."
"Did you see how Tamarina jumped when Rocky showed up?" Greenlee chuckled.
"I did. She was scared of you, Red."
"Eh, maybe a little although I'm not sure why. You know who really scared her though was Erica. Tammy was literally shaking in her shoes when she was hit with the Kane death glare."
"That's how most people act when they see it, unlike you." Bianca muttered to her wife who simply grinned.
Marissa shrugged. "I'm not most people."
"And don't I know it." Bianca smirked before turning to her sister and cousin. "The two of you seemed to be having a lot of fun."
Kendall and Greenlee shared a smile.
"I noticed that myself. Exactly what was going are there?" Erica asked as she raised an eyebrow.
Greenlee shrugged. "The Tammeister might think that Kendall and I are a couple."
"What?!"
"You know, that Greenlee and I are together, kind of like Bianca and Marissa."
The couple in question simply snickered. They knew all about it.
"And why would she think that?" Erica asked already having a very good idea of what the answer would be.
"I may have said or done something to make her think that." Greenlee admitted with a sly grin.
"I don't really want to know, do I?"
Kendall shook her head. "Probably not, Mom. Probably not."
"Mommies, is that mean lady gone?"
Marissa pulled Gabby onto her lap as Krystal returned with the kids. "Yep, Monkey, she's gone. Your other Mommy took care of her."
Miranda nodded as though she expected nothing less of either of her mothers.
Bianca happily took Danny from Krystal and began to rock him and looked at the couple's two oldest children. Something was bothering them. "What's on your mind?"
AJ looked at Miranda and nodded giving his permission for her to tell their mothers what they had talked about.
"Gabby's right. She's mean. We don't like her because she's always saying bad stuff about you and Ma, stuff we know isn't true. It makes us feel really bad for Amber too because she doesn't think her mom's right, but she has to hear it." Miranda admitted.
"I know, Sweetie. We like Amber too. She's a very sweet girl and has become a good friend to both of you." Bianca noted the faint blush on AJ's cheeks. It was no secret to either her or Marissa that their oldest son had a crush on the girl. "Amber is lucky though that she has the two of you for friends. You know what she's really like, and I know that means a lot to her. Just keep being there for her, and know that your Ma and I are here for you."
Marissa nodded. "Always."
"We know." AJ sighed. He really liked Amber and hated to see her sad. The boy just wished that she was as lucky as he was. AJ decided to change the subject because it was making them all sad, and they had been having a really good time before that other woman had showed up. "Erica?"
"Yes, AJ."
"Since it's gonna be the 4th of July when you get married, will there be fireworks?"
Erica chuckled at the hopeful expressions on the faces of her grandchildren. "Well, it wouldn't very well be the 4th of July without fireworks now, would it?"
AJ, Miranda and Gabby shook their heads. "Nope!"
"It wouldn't be one of Mom's weddings either without fireworks of some kind." Kendall smirked, her voice low so only Bianca, Marissa and Greenlee heard her. The other three women each struggled to cover their snickers.

A/N: So, the thing with Adam & Steve and Eve & her awesome girlfriend was something I actually did see on Twitter. The reference to world domination was something a friend said. Kendall and Greenlee were fun to write with their commentary. They always are for me. See you soon!
