A/N: Thanks again for continuing to read, review and follow! I appreciate it. For those of you just joining, welcome! I apologize for being late in posting. It was a busy week for me. Cincinnati hosted the All Star Game for baseball, and I went to some of the activities surrounding it as well as the game itself, and I had a great time. Anyway, back to the story. We're moving forward in time just a bit. Hope you enjoy this update!

"Do we have everything?" Bianca asked her wife as they looked around the family room.

Marissa pulled out the list she and Bianca had made for the family and reviewed it once more. "Let's see. All the clothes are in the car. You've got Danny's diaper bag, right?"

"Yes, I do. It's all stocked except for the bottles which we'll grab right before we leave."

"Okay, and we've got things to keep the kids occupied while we get ready."

"Good because we do not want them bored."

"No, we don't. It could be ugly, and our hands are going to be full enough with your Mom and Jack."

Bianca nodded. "Isn't that the truth, and remember, you have to keep the guys in line."

"Don't remind me. You know, I know it would be nice if we stayed at the Yacht Club overnight and your Mom was more than generous to offer to get us a suite of our own for tonight, but I'm glad we're coming home after the wedding."

"Me too. The kids sleep better in their own beds, especially Danny."

"True. Personally, I can sleep anywhere as long as you're next to me."

Bianca sighed happily. "Same here. Talk like that though, Counselor, will have us being late, and we don't want that because Mom will never forgive us."

"Yeah, I really don't want to face Erica's wrath." Marissa grinned and leaned in closer to her wife who was all too willing for what the redhead had in mind. "Although, you would so totally be worth it."

"What can I do to help?" Jessica asked as she came into the room carrying Danny.

Marissa sighed and turned to look at her friend. "You have lousy timing sometimes. You know that, right?"

Jessica noted the closeness of the couple and smiled. "I'd say that my timing is pretty good. It's Erica's day, and you can't be late so behave yourselves." Seeing the redhead rolling her eyes, Jessica raised an eyebrow and placed a hand on her hip. "Don't you give me that look, Marissa Lynn. You know I'm right."

Bianca had to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing. Her wife looked so adorable after being scolded.

Marissa scowled. "Fine, but I don't have to like it." She turned to her wife and winked. "We'll be finishing this later."

"I'm looking forward to it, Counselor."

"You know, you're a bit of a bad influence on her, Bianca. Stop encouraging her."

Marissa chuckled as moved past her stunned wife to call up to the kids from the steps. "Minions, it's time to go."

Bianca tried to glare at Jessica but couldn't pull it off. The woman's smile threw her off. "We've got everything covered. You just have to worry about getting yourself ready and making Caleb speechless."

"I don't know about that."

"Oh, I do." Marissa grinned as she walked back and took Danny. "Caleb is absolutely crazy about you, and gets the biggest smile on his face whenever he talks about you."

"Really?" Jessica bit her lip as she asked shyly.

"Yeah, really." Marissa patted her friend's arm.

"We're ready!" Miranda said as she, AJ and Gabby joined the others.

"Alright, let's go." Bianca hustled the kids towards the garage.

Marissa smiled as she trailed behind the rest of her family. "We'll see you soon."

"I'll see you there." Jessica nodded and then looked at the clock on the mantle. "Oh, I better start getting ready." She could hear the redhead laughing as she headed to her room.

The Tasker-Montgomery family arrived at the Yacht Club a short while later and had been waved through by the security Erica and Jack had arranged with the Club's management. The family was immediately met by a valet in front who called over a bellboy to help them load their bags and garment bags onto a cart. Once Danny and his carrier were removed, Marissa gave the valet a handsome tip before he drove their car away. The family followed the bellboy to the front desk where they were greeted by a clerk as well as Erica's assistant. After they were checked in, they began to follow the bellboy to the elevator bank while the assistant went over the day's schedule when something, or rather someone, caught Bianca's eye.

"Rissa, is that who I think it is?"

The redhead glanced in the direction her wife indicated and raised an eyebrow in surprise. "It is. Oh, and look who just joined her." Marissa added as a raven-haired woman greeted an auburn-haired woman with a quick kiss.

Bianca smiled. "It looks like things are going quite well for them."

"Moms, the elevator's here." AJ called out at the same time the couple in question glanced the family's way.

The raven-haired woman smiled brightly and waved them over.

Marissa glanced back to the assistant. She had to admit that she liked this one better than the last one Erica had. "Natalie, would you mind taking the kids up for us? We'll only be a few minutes."

Natalie nodded happily. "Sure. It's no problem."

Bianca looked at the kids. "Be good for Natalie, okay? We're just going to say hi to some friends and will be up in a few minutes."

The kids nodded and followed Natalie and bellboy onto the elevator.

Bianca shifted Danny slightly before she and her wife headed over to the Club's restaurant.

Marissa smiled when they reached the table. "Good morning."

"Good morning. It's good to see you." Maura Abbott smiled and her eyes quickly focused on the little boy in Bianca's arms. "Oh my, he's getting so big."

Bianca chuckled. "Yes, he is. Would you like to hold him?"

"You don't mind?"

"Considering you were the first one to hold Danny, we're good." Marissa grinned.

Maura happily took the tiny redhead and began to gently rock him. "I don't get much of a chance to hold them after that first time."

Rafaela smiled as her girlfriend made faces and tickled Danny before turning back to the couple. "Good morning, you two. It's good to see you. It's even better to see Gabby doing so well."

"Yes, you have no idea how happy we are about that. Thank you again for the stuffed animals you sent her and the other kids. They love them."

"Even Danny?"

"Especially Danny. Although, his is a lot more drooly than the others. You know you didn't have to send anything."

"I know, but I wanted to. I couldn't very well just send Gabby something and not get anything for AJ, Miranda and this little fellow. Besides, I don't have nieces and nephews of my own. So, I will content myself with spoiling your children." Rafaela added with a smile.

"Great. Just what we need, someone else who wants to spoil them." Marissa smirked.

Rafaela laughed. "But children are meant to be spoiled."

"Within reason, Ela." Maura reminded her girlfriend. "You don't want them to become spoiled brats. Although, I don't think the two of you have to worry about that because I haven't seen any indication of that. Your kids are pretty grounded, and that is because of the two of you. You should be very proud of them."

Both mothers beamed at the compliment, and Marissa responded. "Thank you. We are very proud of all four, and we try our best to keep them grounded."

Rafaela was tickling Danny when she realized something. "Oh, I just remembered that today is Erica's wedding. That's why all of you are here."

"Yes, it is." Bianca smiled before checking the time. "Rissa, we should get going before Mom sends out a search party for us. Plus, I'm sure the two of you would like to get to your lunch."

"Too late on the search party, B. Natalie's headed right this way." Marissa chuckled as she pointed out Erica's assistant walking towards them.

"Bianca, Marissa, I'm sorry to interrupt, but when Miranda told her who you had run into, Ms. Kane asked me to bring this down immediately." Natalie started to hand an envelope to Maura but saw she had her hands full holding Danny so she switched and gave it to Rafaela. The model saw both of their names on it and raised an eyebrow, curious to see what it contained.

"Shall I open it?"

Maura, equally curious, nodded. "Please."

Rafaela was surprised by what she found. "An invitation to her wedding?"

Natalie nodded. "Yes, Ms. Kane would like it very much if you could both attend. Dr. Abbott, you delivered both of her daughters' youngest children, and she is very grateful for everything that you have done for them."

"Well, I'm very happy that everything worked out for them. This isn't the first time I've heard the kids referred to that way in regards to Erica. Why is that?"

Natalie shifted uncomfortably while Bianca and Marissa laughed.

"Mom does not refer to herself, at least publically, as a grandmother or any derivative of that title. Never has, and we're not really sure if she ever will. Mom really hates the title. It makes her feel old. Don't get me wrong, she loves the kids and would do anything for them, and they know that she loves them. They love her as well, but they call her Erica. "

Maura looked mortified. "Oh my god! I called her 'grandma' at the hospital after Kendall had Lexie. She must hate me."

Marissa chuckled again. "Don't worry about it. She didn't correct you, and trust me, that's huge. So, I honestly don't think she hates you. After all, she just invited you to her wedding, and there aren't many invited. She and Jack are keeping it private."

Rafaela rubbed her girlfriend's back to try and comfort her. "That explains the added security around here. I am guessing there is something on the patio later since we were told that was off limits?"

Bianca nodded. "Yes, part of the reception will be held there, and we'll be viewing fireworks from there tonight."

Natalie took the opportunity to speak up again. "Ms. Kane knows that you're a guest here, Ms. Alvaréz."

"Please, call me Rafaela."

The assistant blushed. "Rafaela. She knows how much you've been working with Kendall and Greenlee on the new Fusion campaign, and she and Mr. Montgomery really appreciate all of your help while Greenlee was recovering. This is her way of thanking both of you for everything you've done for her family."

Rafaela glanced at Maura. "What do you think, meu amor? Would you like to attend a wedding?"

"I don't have anything here to wear."

"You have a few hours before the wedding." Bianca said hopefully.

"There will be music?" Rafaela asked.

Marissa nodded. "Yes, there will, and I'm really looking forward to dancing with my beautiful wife. Oh, and there won't be any paparazzi."

"Meu amor, I would like nothing better than to dance with you."

Maura bit her lip in her best attempt to not swoon at the Brazilian beauty's words. "I'd like that very much myself, Ela. Alright! I guess I'm running home to find something to wear after lunch."

Natalie smiled happily. "Wonderful! I'll go tell Ms. Kane now. Oh, Bianca …"

Bianca couldn't help but laugh. "I know, Natalie. We're coming."

Marissa took Danny back from Maura. "We'll see the two of you in a few hours."

As they followed Natalie to the elevators, Bianca had to ask for a translation from her wife. "Rissa, what does 'meu amor' mean? I know I didn't get the pronunciation correct."

"You're closer than you think. Meu amor is Portuguese for 'my love'."

"I like that, and it's very sweet that Rafaela called her that." Bianca noted as they entered the elevator.

"I couldn't agree more. They are definitely adorable, and I'm glad it's working out for them. I've thought about calling you that, you know?"

"You have?"

"Uh huh. I have something better though. While you are my love, I think this term of endearment is more accurate."

"What is it?"

"O meu coração, a minha alma."

"I love that. What does it mean?"

Marissa kissed her wife softly before translating for her. "It means 'my heart, my soul'."

Bianca had to admit she felt a little weak in the knees and couldn't help but wish they were alone at that moment. "You're right. I love that one much better, and you're going to have to teach me how to say it later because I feel exactly the same way about you, Counselor."

"That will most definitely be my pleasure." Marissa winked.

From her vantage point at the back of the elevator, Natalie simply shook her head and tried her best not to intrude on the couple's moment. The assistant couldn't help but think about just how right Kendall and Greenlee were about them, and Natalie smiled to herself. I really love this entire family, craziness and all.

When Marissa stepped out of the bedroom she had been changing in, Bianca's jaw dropped. It was the first time she had seen her wife dressed in the outfit that Erica had had designed for the redhead, and damn, if her mother hadn't picked out something perfect for her.

"You're drooling, Binx." Kendall smirked at her sister's reaction as she walked by.

Bianca snapped her mouth shut while Greenlee laughed.

"You're looking good in that tux, Rocky."

Marissa grinned as she could feel Bianca's eyes raked over her body, and she reveled in the fact that the outfit had the desired effect on her wife. While it was a tuxedo and designed to match those that Jack, Zach and Ryan would be wearing, it was also distinctly feminine and showed off her curves quite nicely. When Erica had told her of her idea of wearing a tux, the redhead wasn't really sold on it, but after talking to Vera and seeing the designs, she started to come around. Now, she couldn't be happier with the results. "Thank you." Marissa turned to her wife and admired the brunette. The royal blue dress fit Bianca perfectly, and the redhead remembered having a similar reaction to seeing her wife wearing it the first time. Marissa walked over to her wife, hazel eyes never leaving darkening chocolate ones for a second. She held up the royal blue bowtie that was the exact color of her wife's dress. "Would you mind helping me with this?"

Bianca took the offered garment and pulled her wife to her. "You look absolutely beautiful."

"So do you." Marissa leaned in closer.

Their kiss was interrupted by Opal. "None of that you two. We don't have the time. You'll just have to put that on hold until later. Now, Bianca, help her with the tie, just the tie mind you, and when that's done, Marissa, you head on over to the where the men are. Remember, you have to keep them in line."

"Fine." Bianca pouted as she started to work on the bowtie.

Marissa chuckled at how utterly adorable her wife looked when she pouted and gave her a quick kiss, Opal's instructions be damned.

When she was done with the bowtie, Bianca stepped back and admired her wife again. "Perfect."

"I know you are, but what am I?"

Bianca snorted at the redhead's cheeky response. "I can see why you're such a successful lawyer with brilliant arguments like that."

Marissa grinned. "What can I say? If you've got it, you've got it. Now as much as I hate to admit it, Opal's right. I better get going. I need to get Danny dressed as well as make sure that Zach and Ryan aren't getting into any trouble."

"You're right, but later …" A soft kiss from the redhead told Bianca they were definitely on the same page.

"Later most definitely." Marissa tore herself away from her wife and called to their oldest son who was in another room in the suite. "Come on, AJ. Time to meet up with the guys."

Marissa carefully placed a blanket on her shoulder to protect her tux from any possible drool or spit up from the youngest member of their family before taking Danny from Opal. The redhead then picked up the small garment bag containing the baby's outfit. Since having Danny, she'd gotten quite good at juggling multiple items at the same time.

"AJ, would you carry the diaper bag for your Ma?" Bianca asked.

The blonde nodded and picked up the bag. "No problem, Mom."

"Thank you. You look really handsome today, Buddy."

AJ blushed slightly. "You look pretty, Mom. So do you, Ma."

"Thanks, AJ. Now, come my handsome young man." Marissa winked at her wife. "See you downstairs, O meu coração."

Bianca sighed happily. "It won't be soon enough for me."

"Alright, lovebirds, enough of that. We have to finish getting all of you ready and then help the bride." Opal said as she hustled Marissa out the door.

/

Marissa had only knocked once before Jack quickly opened the door, and she couldn't help but chuckle at the man's slightly panicked expression. "Relax, Jack. Everything is just fine."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive. Your blushing bride is cool as a cucumber and ready to get this show on the road." Marissa assured him as she followed AJ into the suite and was greeted by a smiling Zach and Ryan.

"Maybe he'll believe you, Red. We've been telling him the same thing all day, and he's not buying it yet." Zach shook his head before turning to his nephew. "Hey, AJ. Looking good."

"Hi, Uncle Zach. Thanks. You too. Where are Ian and Spike?"

"They are with their sitter and will be here in a few minutes."

"Wow, Marissa. You look great. Why don't we look that good, Zach?"

"Speak for yourself, Ryan. I think I look pretty good. I have to say though, Red, Ryan's right. You look stunning."

"You do wonders for a girl's ego." Marissa smiled as she laid Danny down on the bed and began to undress him. For obvious reasons, he was the last one to get dressed. "Oh, Kendall and Greenlee look fabulous. And Jack?"

"Yes?"

"I've never seen Erica look more beautiful. She is breathtaking."

Jack smiled brightly and finally seemed to relax. "Thank you. I have no doubt you managed to take Bianca's breath away yourself. You look beautiful."

"Thank you. Now, I have to get this little guy dressed." Marissa caught some movement out of the corner of her eye. "Sorry guys, but only one shot for Jack. Erica's orders."

Ryan looked at the redhead. "Seriously?"

"Hey, I'm just the messenger, and there's no way I'm going to argue with her today of all days. If you want to, just know that you're taking your life in your own hands."

"Red's right. I'm not messing with Erica today."

"Fine." Ryan knew they were right. He did not want to tangle with Erica today. He poured a shot and handed it to Jack. "Hopefully, this will help steady your nerves."

/

"Oh my word, if you aren't the most beautiful bride in the world." Opal gushed as she looked Erica over.

"Opal's right, Mom. You are beautiful." Bianca said, her honesty and love evident in smiling, warm chocolate eyes.

"I'll make it unanimous. Jack is going to be speechless the moment he lays his eyes on you." Kendall agreed whole-heartedly.

Erica glanced at her daughters. "Thank you."

"Turn around." Greenlee instructed the trio. When they were settled, she took a picture of the mother and daughters. "Now, one with all three generations of Kane women."

Miranda and Gabby stood in front of their mother while Kendall held Lexie. It reminded the older Kane women of a similar photo taken many years ago with Mona.

"Perfect."

A/N: The wedding will continue in the next chapter, and you'll find out what Opal's role in it is. I wanted to wrap it all up in one chapter, but my mind wandered and life creeped up on me. If I put more into this one, I would've been even later posting. Oh, for those of you that like Maura and Rafaela, that makes me happy. I like them too. Who knows when they will pop up? See you soon!
