Summary: Sky loses a bet. What's his punishment?
Disclaimer: I do not own SPD, but I do own Gin.
"Nanny for a day." Was his exact statement. Sky thought as he glanced over his ten year old tag-a-long and shook his head. He was stuck with her for the rest of the day. Never again was he going to make a bet with Bridge. She was tall for her age, and had his friends hair and eyes. Too bad she didn't have his demeanor, the girl was a menace. All ready she had managed to embarrass him quite thoroughly. Right now, he was just happy to pass her off to R.I.C. for a while. At least the computerized canine would keep her busy.
The day had started off much as he thought it might. She was pleasant when she was in the company of her older brother, but one she was out of his sight...instant hurricane. He chased her all throughout Delta Base until she ran into Cruger and got so scared she started to cry. Apparently she was afraid of big, blue, scaly dogs. He didn't know this, but once he acquired this information, it made it a lot easier to control her...Most of the time.
That day former ranger and singer, Kira Mcknight, had graced the delta base with her presence. Since the other's were out for the day, Cruger gave Sky the honor of showing her around. Not that he minded any. He loved her music, as he did any retro and classic singers. Not to mention, she was still easy on the eyes for a woman in her late thirties. She was average height with blond hair that rivaled Syd's.
"I'm sorry, what was your name again." She asked his tag-a-long with a smile.
To his horror, he saw the little girl smirk. "I can't believe you forgot my name! It must be a blond thing." She stated.
Sky's eyes bugged, "Gin!"
Kira looked startled. "I'm actually not this blond."
"Oh," Gin said with a shrug. "Well, maybe a little too much bleach seeped into your brain."
Sky gave a nervous laugh.
The rest of the day proceeded to follow the same path. He got pillows thrown at his head in public. She tripped him in front of Kat, passed gas and pointed to him, and worst of all, she read his journal and told Syd that he loved her.
Shaking his head, he let out a long sigh. Problem was, the way Gin brought it out in the open. Now Syd thought it was a joke. Yep, after today was up and Bridge and Z got back from whatever it was that they were doing, Gin's older brother was going to be in so much trouble. This was his last thought before She threw R.I.C.'s ball at him, causing the overly happy K-9 to mow him over.
Yes, Bridge was defiantly going to pay.
