*The next morning, Leah sat outside while enjoying a nice windy breeze. She felt the wind in her face as she looked at the clouds. It was a very pleasant looking sky, blue with not so many clouds. Leah was glad to have a peaceful morning. A morning without Kavu disturbing her whenever she would spend time by herself. Leah kept looking at the beautiful blue sky, still feeling the wind in fur*

Leah: *Sighs* This is nice. I love to see the clouds in the sky. I've always enjoyed this ever since I was little. *Some leaves blow around her* (Thinking) This reminds me of what happened last night. I still can't believe how Kijakazi and I first met. Boy, we seriously scared each other that afternoon. *Just at that thought, she heard her aunts talking with her mom*

Leah's aunt 1: Why is Leah still avoiding Kavu when she's supposed to marry him in the future?

Leah: (Worried whisper) Oh no, not again... *Walks down a hill*

Leah's mom: Girls, she likes to be alone. So let her enjoy herself out there.

Leah's aunt 2: Why do you say that, little sis? She's been so quiet at breakfast this morning, and she never said a word! Not a single word!

Leah's aunt 1: And what's the point of a future marriage if Leah wants to be alone?

Leah's mom: (Loudly) Now stop it, the two of you! Just STOP IT! *Her sisters immediately both go silent as she sighs* Look, I know you're so worried about her, but you must relax. We've talked about this. I told you that she likes to be alone. If she wants to be by herself, let her be. Understood?

Leah's aunt 1: But-

Leah's mom: (Yells) UNDERSTOOD?! *Her sisters jolt in surprise*

*Both of her big sisters were so surprised, their fur stood on end as they heard the tone in her voice. Kavu was standing by a water puddle, admiring his reflection. He was grooming himself while looking smug. His parents were nearby as they watched*

Kavu's dad: You know, kid... Maybe you should turn down the selfishness a tad. I heard Leah's not spending much time with you.

Kavu: Come on, Dad, I can't help making myself look splendid. *Stops grooming himself* I like to look my best. And I think Leah would love to see someone as handsome as ME, right?

Kavu's mom: Son, how many times have we told you? No boasting about your self-esteem.

Kavu: (Sarcastically) Why? Because I'm too awesome? *His mom sighs and his dad facepalms*

Kavu's dad: Oh great...

*Meanwhile, Leah was out in a flowery field. There were a lot of dandelions being blown by the wind. She laid down on the flowers while looking up at the clouds as they made some interesting shapes. One of them looked a bird with its wings out. Another was shaped like a lion's head. Leah enjoyed the view of the clouds up in the sky. She didn't notice that someone was coming. It was only...*

Leah: *Looks behind her* Oh. Good morning, Kijakazi.

Kijakazi: Hi, Leah. Good morning. Mind if I join you?

Leah: Of course you can. *Kijakazi lies down next to her* Looking at the clouds is one of my favorite things.

Kijakazi: Sounds fantastic! *Laughs* I love looking at the clouds too!

Leah: You do?

Kijakazi: Yeah!

*This made Leah chuckle in happiness. The two Iberian Lynx lie next to each other as they view the clouds. Many different shapes appeared in each cloud, one by one. A flock of birds passed by as they flew east, chirping. Then a big burst of wind blew across the dandelion field, making Leah and Kijakazi gasp with wonder*

Leah: Wow! *She looks back and sees the dandelion seeds drifting away* Kijakazi, look!

Kijakazi: *Gets up and notices the flying seeds in Leah's direction* (In wonder) Woah...

Leah:Isn't it amazing?

Kijakazi: Yeah. Oh, you know what else would be fun? *Leaps towards more dandelions* Follow me!

Leah: *Follows Kijakazi as they run through the dandelions, making more seeds fly away* Wow! This is amazing! You're right, this IS fun! Wheeee!

Kijakazi: Woohoo! *He and Leah continue running through the field* I told you this was fun!

Leah: I love it! *Some birds fly past them as they keep running*

*Leah and Kijakazi kept going through the field as more dandelion seeds blew everywhere. The fun grew more exciting the more they ran. They laughed with enjoyment as the wind kept blowing. Then Leah started to play with Kijakazi. And Kijakazi played with her as well. Leah and Kijakazi were having so much fun playing, they didn't know they were about to go down a steep hill up ahead. Just as they were on their hind legs, they began to tumble down the hill (Similar to Simba and Nala in Can You Feel The Love Tonight)*

Leah & Kijakazi: Wo-oh-oh-oooooooaaaaahhhh! *They keep rolling down until they land at the end of the hill* Oh!

Kijakazi: (Laughing) Wow! Now THAT was fun! *Laughs with Leah at the moment they look at each other*

Leah: Yeah! *Chuckles before getting up with him* I enjoyed running through the field with you, Kijakazi.

Kijakazi: Me too. By the way, I've told a friend of mine about you last night.

Leah: You did? I'd like to see him.

Kijakazi: *His ears go up* Great! He said that he'd meet up with us. What do you think?

Leah: (Eagerly) You know what? I like the sound of that. Where should we meet?

Kijakazi: Same place where we first met.

Leah: Okay! Sounds good to me. *Walks away* See ya later!

Kijakazi: *Runs in another direction* (Calls) Bye, Leah! We'll see you there this afternoon! *Leah agrees with a nod before going up the hill*

Leah: (Softly) Okay. I better go up this hill. *Climbs up the hill steadily*

Kijakazi: *Notices her going up* (Calls out) Need some help?

Leah: (Distant calling) It's okay! I got this! *Continues going up*

*Leah returned home after nearly half an hour. It only took her a few minutes to reach the top of the hill she and Kijakazi down from. But she finally made it back in time to see the mom, who was sitting near a tree by the den. And Leah was almost covered in dandelion seeds*

Leah: I'm back. *Shakes off the seeds* Sorry about the seeds. I was running through the dandelion field back there.

Leah's mom: That's okay, sweetheart. You're fine. *Smiles at her daughter, just before her sisters come over* I'm just glad you had another good time alone.

Leah's aunt 1: "Good time"? What if she was hurt?

Leah: I'm fine, Aunt Rosa. You don't hafta be scared. It's just dandelion seeds, okay? *Finishes shaking off the seeds* Nothing to worry about.

Leah's aunt 2: (Worriedly) Nothing to worry about?! We thought-

Leah's mom: (Scolding tone) Hey! I told you not to talk to her like that! You don't have the right to yell at my daughter! *Her sisters are shocked by this* Rosa, Nuria, you two leave Leah alone.

Rosa: *Gasps in shock* Isabella... How could you?

Isabella: Girls, just go somewhere else and leave her be.

Nuria: (In disappointment) Okay... Whatever you say, little sis. *She and Rosa walk away, leaving Isabella alone with Leah*

Leah: Mom, can I go alone again later this afternoon?

Isabella: (Encouragingly) Of course you can.

*Later, Leah came back to the same place where she first met Kijakazi. She walked to the bushes where she had that surprising meeting the day before. As soon as Leah found the location where Kijakazi startled her yesterday, she saw him coming towards her. Leah was happy to see Kijakazi again. And Kijakazi was also happy to see Leah*

Leah: Hi, Kijakazi. I'm here.

Kijakazi: That's great! Come on, I'll introduce you to my friend! *Turns and leaps ahead as Leah follows him*

Leah: I can't wait! *Giggles as she and Kijakazi go past the trees and bushes* Is he nice?

Kijakazi: Definitely! He and I have been best friends since we were little. *Meanwhile, his friend Zen was sitting next to a tree when Kijakazi returned*

Zen: Hey, Kijakazi. Welcome back.

Kijakazi: Thanks. Leah, meet Zen. Zen, this is Leah.

Zen: Nice to meet you, Leah. Kijakazi told me all about you last night.

Leah: Nice to meet you too. I'm so glad to have another friend.

Zen: That's great! Hey, who wants to play?

Leah & Kijakazi: We do!

*The three spent an hour and a half, having fun playing with each other. Leah, Kijakazi and Zen played games like tag and hide and seek. This made Leah very happy to have two friends who liked hanging out with her. At sunset, they were having another game of hide and seek, and Leah was almost done*

Leah: *Finds Kijakazi behind a bush* I found you!

Kijakazi: Wow! *Comes out from the bush* You're really good at this! *Zen joins the two*

Zen: That was fun, guys! Maybe next time, we could go for a walk.

Leah: Yeah! Just like last night. That reminds me, I better get home. *Walks away* They're gonna be wondering where I am. See you guys again tomorrow!

Kijakazi & Zen: Goodbye, Leah! *They turn around and run*

Leah: (Thinking) I love my new friends. They're SO much fun to hang with. *Picks up the pace while heading home* Oh man, this is one of the most enjoyable moments of my life. *Her smile wears off at another thought* I hope my aunts won't be mad at me again.

?: (Distant) Leah!

Leah: Oh! That's my mom calling me for dinner. *Runs faster while getting close to her den* (Calling) I'm coming, Mom!

Isabella: *Sees Leah approaching up ahead* Hello, my dear. You're just in time!

Leah: *Stops in front of her, exhausted from running* Hi, Mom. I'm home. I've been out playing for the past hour and a half.

Isabella: That's great, Leah! I'm glad! Oh, and by the way, Kavu's not here for dinner this time. Or your aunts. *Walks with Leah* They're spending a few nights at his home. So you won't hear them being hard on you for now.

Leah: *Sighs with relief* Thank goodness. I can't stand aunts Rosa and Nuria scolding me.

Isabella: I know, dear. They're just overprotective of you. But thanks to them being away from home for a few days, it's just the two of us. *They enter the den as a small pile fish was seen*

Leah: What kind of fish is that?

Isabella: It's your favorite fish. Salmon fish

Leah: Oh yeah! I've loved it since I was a cub!

*Later that night after dinner, Leah couldn't help thinking about her new friends. She especially enjoyed the thought of when she had that windy morning. She was lying in her den as she began to fall asleep. Leah had a few more thoughts before sleeping for the night*

Leah: (Thinking) I'll never forget that fun I had today. Maybe we could play some more every time we see each other. *Yawns sleepily before nodding off* I'm glad to be avoiding Kavu as much as I want. Especially that I have two amazing friends. *Closes her eyes as she sleeps*
