A/N: It's been a long time since I've updated any of my stories, but this chapter has been sitting done on my computer for so long that I thought that I already posted it. I have chapter 4 done also, so I'll probably upload it soon, and I might actually keep writing. I really enjoyed planning this story, so I hope to actually finish it for a change.

Disclaimer: I do not own Zootopia (If I did there would be a sequel already)

Chapter 3: My Name is Alexis O'Hare/Her Name is Lorena Lop

Judy Hopps swung her legs over the edge of the bed as she got up for the day. As her feet hit the floor, she remembered that she wasn't in her normal, small, downtown apartment. She looked out the nearby window to see a light snow falling from the dim, overcast sky. When she arrived at the Tundratown safe house the night before, she almost immediately hit the bed. At that very moment the weight of the last twenty-four hours truly hit her. Bogo was willing to give her a shot at being a detective, but only if she could prove herself in an undercover operation. She walked over to the small kitchen and opened the binder on the table. It was the same binder that Inspector Wiley had showed her the previous day.

"Alexis O'Hare," she read on the front page. As she turned the page, she found a photo id as well as two credit cards under her alias. With them was a note:

Hopps,

These are real credit cards. They are tied to an office account. You may use them for necessary purchases throughout the duration of your mission. Don't go crazy though.

Bogo

She took the credit cards and ID and slipped them into the small purse that was sitting next to the binder before continuing to peruse her legend. It was basically the same things that Wiley had gone over the day before. She was meant to be an ignorant farm girl who had big dreams of living in the metropolis of Zootopia where 'Anyone could be anything,' but soon realized that reality is not that easy.

"Little on the nose, don't you think," she said to herself. She grabbed the binder, walked over to the large chair in the corner of the room to keep reading.

The reason that Alexis left home was due to a falling out with her parents over her dreams. They wanted her to remain in Bunnyburrow to marry a nice buck and become a mother to a large farming colony, but she decided to follow her dreams and move to Zootopia. Upon reaching the city, she stayed at a small, cheap, rent-controlled apartment in the downtown district. She tried her paw first at becoming an actress, before trying to enter school to become an accountant, as rabbits are very serious about multiplication. Neither of those career paths worked out, and soon her savings dried up. She was evicted from her downtown apartment and soon found herself living in a boarding house in Tundratown. Her motivation for obtaining employment at The Warren is so she can pay rent at the end of the month.

"It's like they took my actual life and took it down a path that very well could have happened," she said to herself. She looked around the apartment, "and it's nicer than my actual apartment. I really need to get a bigger place. Maybe I can talk to Nick about being roommates and getting a condo or something."

The absent thought about her partner made her think about what he was doing at that very moment. She glanced at the clock on the wall which read 7:30, "He's probably at the precinct by now."

In fact, Nick was sitting in the squad room waiting for the daily briefing. He was genuinely interested this morning as he had yet to receive any briefing on the classified mission that Judy was undertaking.

Bogo walked in, "Good morning everyone. First order of business, we have two new officers. They're both CSIs and thus I do not care. General announcements: As you can probably tell, we are one officer short today. Officer Hopps is on assignment. She will be absent for about two weeks. The nature of her assignment is such that it cannot be discussed and is classified as need-to-know, which none of you do."

This non-explanation left a sour taste in Nick's mouth, and he made no attempt to hide the glare he was throwing at his chief.

Bogo went on to assign various cases to the various officers assembled until Nick and Bogo were alone in the room. The door opened, and Wiley walked in.

"Wilde," Bogo started, "This is Inspector Bernard Wiley. He's the one who's heading up the investigation that your partner is currently on. I'm assigning you the same case, however in a different capacity. Come with me to my office, and we'll brief you further."

The two ranking officers turned and left the room, leaving Nick to glare at their retreating forms before muttering to himself, "Damn right you will."

He got up to follow.

As he entered, the glare returned to face. Bogo raised an eyebrow as he motioned for him to sit.

"Before we begin, it seems as though something is on your mind," Bogo said.

"You could say that," Nick said with his usual snarky tone.

"Please," Bogo said, "Enlighten us."

"I understand the whole 'need-to-know' thing, but can you at least tell me if she's in any danger?" Nick asked seriously.

"There's always an aspect of danger to undercover work," Wiley chimed in.

Nick turned his glare to the honey badger, "I'm sorry, Inspector. I wasn't talking to you."

"Calm yourself Wilde," Bogo interjected.

Nick turned back to his chief, "Judy has little to no undercover experience. How could you send her into a potentially dangerous situation alone like that?"

"She's not alone, you twit," Wiley said, "You and I are her back up."

Nick glanced at the badger before turning back to Bogo, "Explain."

"Before we go any further," Bogo said before pulling out a nondisclosure agreement, "You need sign this. The mayor doesn't want the public to know about this case just yet."

Nick grabbed a pen, "You know, this shady stuff is what got Lionheart in trouble."

After Nick's name was firmly upon the document, Bogo filed it next to Judy's. He once again pulled out the case file and opened it upon the desk. He spread out the files of the missing does.

"It's a missing mammals case," Bogo explained.

"They're all rabbits," Nick said, "Choosing Judy suddenly makes sense. Aside from their evolutionary family, what else links them?"

"That's what we're going to find out," Wiley said.

"We should start with where they work," Nick said.

"Nope," Wiley said, "That's your partner's job. We're going to investigate their homes and their families to find a little more insight."

Nick looked over the files in front of him, taking note that the one who reported them missing and their place of employment had been redacted, but that both fields in each file where the same length.

"They were all reported missing by the same mammal and work for the same employer," Nick said to know one in particular before looking to Wiley, "That's were Judy is. She's investigating their boss, since I assume, he's the one that reported them. That's the only reason why you would have redacted both their employer and the reporter in my copy of the files."

Wiley narrowed his eyes, "The fox is smarter than I gave him credit for."

Nick closed the file, "Where do we start?"

"With Victim No. 1," Wiley said, "Lorena Lop."

It was 3:00 p.m. as Judy pushed open the front door to The Warren. She had called the establishment and spoke with a female named Natalia. Judy assumed that she was Felipe's secretary. Before heading out, she looked through the selection of clothing that the precinct had provided to her. For her interview, she had chosen a black, tight fitting, knee length skirt with a small slit up the side and a violet, low-cut blouse. Her final touch was bright red lipstick and some light purple eyeshadow.

Upon entering the establishment, the true reality of the situation hit her. The club was laid out as she would have assumed a strip club would be. There was a small stage that tapered out into a catwalk that ended with a smaller, circular stage. Up through the center of the smaller stage was a metal pole. Aside from the main stage, there were five other smaller stages, each with their own pole.

"Welcome to The Warren," she heard a male's voice said, "I'm sorry, but we're closed at the moment."

Judy turned around to see a wolverine wearing a black silk suit with a blood red neck tie. She immediately recognized him as Felipe le Roux. She took just a second to compose herself and assume her undercover temperament.

"I-I-I ca-called earlier today," she stammered out, playing the innocent farmgirl with a slight twang in her voice, "I spoke w-with Natalia. She t-told me to come in f-for an interview."

Felipe smirked, "I see. Well, I must apologize then. I'm Felipe le Roux, the owner of this fine establishment. Are you here for the waitress position or are you a little more… daring?"

From the way he delivered the line, Judy recognized the not-so-subtle innuendo. The blush that adorned her cheeks was completely natural.

"The waitress position," she blurted out, "I could never… I mean there's no way I could ever do that."

She glanced at the pole that stuck out of the main stage.

Felipe walked up beside her, "You'd be surprised what you're capable of."

She glanced over at him and she was hit with his full charm. Her rabbit nose may not have been as powerful as Nick's, but she could smell the musk wafting from the wolverine. Her immediate thought was that he was using some kind of pheromone to appeal to females of her evolutionary family.

Caught up in her thoughts, she barely noticed an arctic fox come through the curtain on the main stage. Judy turned her head to better see the vixen and realized that she was wearing an open, red robe with very little underneath.

"Natalia, darling," Felipe said, "You look as stunning as ever."

He motioned to Judy, "This is… uh. I just realized that I never asked your name."

"It's Alexis," Judy said, "Alexis O'Hare."

"Oh yes," the fox said, "I spoke with you earlier. You're here to interview for the waitress job."

Natalia walked down some stairs off of the stage before standing right in front of Judy. She made no attempt to hide that she was looking over the rabbit's body, "It's a shame. With a body like that, you would be very popular on the stage."

Judy's cheeks flared from the statement, "Thank you, but as I said to Mr. le Roux, I could never do that. I'd be too embarrassed."

Natalia placed her hands on Judy's shoulders, "Nonsense. Your body is nothing to be embarrassed about. In fact, it looks downright scrumptious."

As if to accentuate her euphemism, the fox licked her lips, causing Judy's blush to deepen.

"Now, now, Natalia, don't chase away the potential hire," Felipe said in mock scolding before turning back to the embarrassed rabbit, "I apologize for her behavior. She does this with all the new hires."

Natalia shrugged before turning around to climb back up on the stage, "You can't deny that you were thinking it also, Felipe."

She turned to face Judy again, "I hope you stay to watch my performance tonight."

With that, she sauntered off behind the curtain.

"She's a bit of a prima donna," he said as he placed a hand on Judy's shoulder, "but she's not wrong, and dancers make a lot more that waitresses."

"I'm not suited to be a dancer," Judy said.

Felipe nodded, "That is a shame, but I am in need of wait staff, so shall we continue the interview?"

Judy nodded.

Felipe smirked, "Follow me to my office."

He turned and led her through a door next to the stage.

At around 3:00, Inspector Wiley and Nick pulled up to a small house just past the entrance to Bunnyburrow.

"Are you sure this is the place," Nick asked, "I assumed that the house would be bigger since most rabbit families are upwards of 200."

"This is it," Wiley said as he looked at the file in his paw, "The last known address of Lorena Lop."

Nick shrugged as he approached the door. He lightly rapped his knuckles against the frame, "Mr. and Mrs. Lop. My name is Nick Wilde. I'm with the ZPD. I have a few questions for you."

The door opened to a middle-aged buck, "What the hell is this? A fox in the ZPD? They'll let anyone be a goddamn cop these days."

Nick sighed as he let the blatant speciesism roll off his back, "I have some questions for you about your daughter, Lorena."

The rabbit sneered, "I ain't got no daughter by that name. Now, get off of my property."

He slammed the door shut, and Nick turned back to Wiley and gave him a 'what next' kind of look. Wiley motioned towards the car and Nick took a step off of the porch, only to hear the door open behind him.

"Wait," a doe's voice rang out, "please officer. You're here about my daughter, my Lorena."

Nick turned around to see an upset middle-aged doe, "Yes ma'am."

She glanced back at the house, "We can't talk here. Can you meet me at the Burrow Park in an hour?"

Nick nodded.

"Thank you," she said before heading back in the house.

Nick turned to walk back to the squad car.

An hour later, Nick and Wiley were sitting on a bench at the small park. As it was the middle of the afternoon, and they were in a farming community, the park was relatively empty due to most of the residents working the local fields. The two of them were sitting in silence, each nursing a cup of lemonade. The silence was broken, however by the sound of someone approaching on the gravel walkway. Nick glanced over to see the doe from earlier as well as a tod that was only a few years younger than he was.

"Thank you for meeting with me officers," the doe said upon arrival, "My name's Elaine Lop. You said you had questions about my daughter. Is she in trouble?"

Nick glanced at Wiley, who nodded. Nick stood up and took Mrs. Lop by the hand, "My name is Officer Nick Wilde, you may need to sit down."

She cocked her head in confusion as she took the spot that Nick previously occupied.

"Ma'am," Wiley said, "I'm sorry to say this, but your daughter was reported missing by her employer. Have you seen her recently?"

"I knew something was wrong," she said, "Why else would you be here asking questions about her? No, I haven't seen her since she left for Zootopia."

"Why did she leave," Nick asked.

"Because of me," the young fox said.

"No," the rabbit interjected, "because of her father."

Nick looked back and forth between the two before settling on the fox, "And you are?"

"My name's Remus," he said, "Lorena was my… friend."

"Enough of that," Elaine snapped, "Tell them the truth."

"I think I understand," Wiley said.

Nick glanced at the badger, clearly confused, "Understand what?"

Wiley stood up, "Interspecies relationships are still considered taboo by most, even in Zootopia. Out here in Bunnyburrow, it's enough for a father to disown his daughter."

Nick cocked an eyebrow as he looked at the tod, whose gaze was locked at the ground with a blush adorning his cheeks and a tear forming in his eye.

"I loved her," he said, "I loved her, and she loved me."

Elaine nodded, "Until her daddy found out."

Nick turned to the doe, "You supported their relationship?"

"I love my daughter," she said, "I don't care who she was in love with; that would never change."

"But your husband doesn't quite agree," Wiley said.

"The day he found out was the last day I saw my little girl," she explained, "She had just come home from being with Remus, and Roland saw a piece of red fur stuck to her dress. He'd had his suspicions up 'til then, but that was the final straw. He slapped her, and then kicked her out of the house. I should have stopped her; I should have gone with her. That son of a bitch…"

By now, Mrs. Lop was openly sobbing.

"Ma'am," Nick asked gingerly, "Do you have any other children?"

She shook her head, "When Lorena was born, there were… complications. She was the only one from the litter to survive."

"Does your husband beat you," Wiley asked bluntly.

Nick turned to the Inspector in shock as Elaine's sobbing increased.

Remus spoke up, "That wasn't the first time he hit Lorena either."

Nick grit his teeth in anger. He said to Wiley, "We have to do something."

"She has to file charges first," Wiley said.

Nick glanced back to the sobbing rabbit and placed his paw on her shoulder, "Mrs. Lop, we can help you."

"No, you can't," she said as she wiped her eyes, "Not yet. Once I find out what happened to my daughter… then. Please find her."

Nick nodded, "We'll do everything in our power."

"After she left Bunnyburrow, do you know where she was staying in Zootopia?" Wiley asked.

"She was staying in an apartment right at the edge of Sahara Square, right next to the tunnel to Tundratown," Remus said as he pulled out a piece of paper, "Here's the address."

Nick took the note, "Thank you. When we find anything out, we'll contact you both."

Judy sat in a chair across the desk from Felipe. At the moment, he was just staring at her.

"Sir," she said shyly, "Is there something wrong?"

"Not at all," he said, "Just admiring the view. Why do you want to work here?"

"Well, I'm down on my luck and need a steady flow of income," she said, "I got evicted from my last apartment, and the rent for my new apartment is due at the end of the month. I saw your help wanted ad and figured that working here would fit the bill, what with tips and all."

"Don't think too lightly about it," he said, "Our customers are very demanding. Some of them even get quite a temper."

"I grew up in a family of over 200," she said, "and as one of the oldest does, I helped my mother with the other kits."

"You do have a large family then," he said, "I suppose that is to be expected. You bunnies are proficient when it comes to multiplying. Do you keep in touch with your family?"

"No," she said as she cast her gaze to the floor, "My parents and I don't really see eye to eye when it comes to my goals in life. They wanted me to marry this buck that I couldn't stand and become a doting housewife and breeding machine. Don't get me wrong, I love kits, but I'm not ready to be a mother. We argued, and it ended with me watching Bunnyburrow fade into the distance."

Throughout her story, Felipe just smiled, and Judy could tell that his eyes were tracing over her body.

"That's too bad," he said, "It's so hard to lose the support of one's family, but fortunately times are changing and with them, the idea of what is normal. Had you been born ten years earlier, you would have probably just accepted your parents' wishes, but now, we live in an era where we can make our own destiny. This club employs many with the same outlook on life: mammals that reject what tradition tells them they should be."

He let his words hang in the air as Judy absorbed them.

"I think we can conclude the interview," he said, "You start tomorrow. There is no uniform; I only ask that you dress appropriately, but not too scantily clad. We need the patrons to be able to distinguish you from the dancers."

Judy stood up, "Thank you sir. You won't regret this."

"Let's just hope you don't," he said, "Now, I'd like you stay this evening during the performances. It'll do you good to see how busy we get before you just get thrown into the thick of it. You can have a look around the club, then join me in my VIP lounge around 9ish. Most of the other regular employees are here by now. Speak with them and learn from them, but don't bother the dancers tonight. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet them later."

Judy nodded. Though her subconscious was telling her that she needed to leave at that very moment, the pheromone heavy musk coming from her new boss was tricking her natural instincts to ignore the mental pull. She glanced back at him one time before walking out of his office. He was still smiling.

It was around 7:00 as Nick and Wiley pulled up to the front entrance of a large sandstone apartment complex in Sahara Square. The two officers walked up to the land lord's office, which was the first apartment in the complex. Upon knocking, they were greeted by a middle-aged ibex, "Can I help you?"

Wiley flashed his badge, "My name is Inspector Bernard Wiley, and this is Officer Nick Wilde, ZPD. We need access to one of your apartments; specifically, the one being leased by Lorena Lop."

"I don't suppose you have a warrant," the ibex said.

"We were hoping we wouldn't need one," Nick said, "Miss Lop was reported missing, and we're trying to piece together what happened."

"How could I ever deny a request like that," the ibex said, "Oh wait, like this. No warrant, no entry."

Nick sneered, but Wiley simply smiled, "Unlike my partner here, I don't rely on hope. I prefer being pragmatic."

He reached into his long duster and pulled out a piece of folded up paper, "Here's your warrant. Now, kindly show us to Miss Lop's apartment."

The ibex snatched the parchment from the inspector's hand before reading it over. He looked up over the top edge with a glare, "Right this way."

He grabbed his keys and led them to the fifth door on the second floor, "This is it. I considered leasing it to a new tenant, but the rabbit signed a year lease which has only been in effect for seven months. That being said, I haven't seen her in five."

He unlocked and opened the door.

The three of them entered the apartment.

The apartment was fairly large for a single occupant. It consisted of a living room, kitchen, dinette, a nice sized bedroom, and a full bathroom, complete with a whirlpool tub and a body sized fur dryer. It was furnished with modern appliances and furniture as well as a 52-inch television.

"This is a nice apartment for an eighteen-year-old runaway," Nick said, "She must have been making bank."

"You said that she signed the lease seven months ago," Wiley said, "How did she pay rent?"

"I gave her options to either pay monthly or in one lump sum," the land lord said, "After a week grace period, she paid the first month off. Then the next month, she paid off the rest of the year. I never asked where she got the money; I try not to invade my tenants' privacy."

"Mmhmm," Wiley said, "Did you ever see anyone with her?"

"There was a fox," he said.

"Must have been Remus," Nick said.

"Nah," the ibex said, "It was a female, arctic fox. They seemed like friends. It was weird, a fox and rabbit hanging out."

The ibex shrugged as Nick rolled his eyes.

"Let's take a look around," Wiley said as he and Nick began searching around the apartment.

They headed into the bed room. The bed was messy as though it was recently slept in, but a light layer of dust betrayed the fact that the apartment had been empty for five months. Nick opened the closet. It was filled with small outfits and a lot of lingerie.

"Judging by her wardrobe I'd say she was an exotic dancer," Nick said, "It would explain how she came into so much money so fast."

He turned and faced Wiley, "Did you send Whiskers undercover as a stripper?"

Wiley laughed, "Waitress actually, though stripper was a potential choice."

"So, I'm right," he said, "Lorena and the other four missing mammals were exotic dancers."

Wiley nodded curtly.

"At the same club," Nick ventured a guess.

Another nod.

"I still think we should check it out," Nick said.

"Leave it to Hopps," Wiley said, "If Bogo trusts her ability in the matter, so should you."

"I do," Nick said, "In fact, there's no one else I trust more, but that doesn't mean that I don't worry about her."

After wandering through the club and speaking with a few of the employees, Judy mentally went over everything she'd learned. The bartender was a male cheetah called Lightning due to the speed at which he mixed drinks. The DJ was an antelope named Lucius who doesn't speak to anyone and communicates exclusively through various clips from his soundboard. The bouncers were a large polar bear named Piotr who could beat Mr. Big's carrier, Kosov, in a size competition, as well as a timber wolf named Sergei. The rest of the wait staff were various small arctic and tundra dwelling mammals like martens, ermines, weasels, and lemmings. She kept her conversations with the rest of the staff to a minimum: basic introductions, small talk.

Around 8:00, customers began filling in the chairs, and Judy made her way to the door marked VIP. Behind the door was a stairway leading up. After following the stairs, Judy found herself on a balcony with a private bar, a small table and few seats, including a pleather loveseat. She walked over to the railing and saw that the balcony was set off to the right of the main catwalk. On the floor below her, the waitresses began their rounds, taking orders from the assortment of customers. Judy was shocked to see such a large variance of species assembled. There were mammals of various sizes, predators and prey, from elephants to tigers to foxes, and one rabbit.

Judy's breath caught in her throat as she felt a presence behind her.

"I assume that you're overwhelmed by how popular my club is," Felipe said as he walked up behind her.

"It's just… I don't know what species the dancers are, but I'm sure there aren't as many as the various species of the patrons," she said.

"And that's the truth of all of this," he said as he placed a paw on her shoulder, "It doesn't matter the species. Sexual attraction is something that all mammals have in common despite physiological difference. From the small shrew to the large elephant, the primal feeling of lust is always present."

He slowly began moving his paw in gyrating motions across her back, his pheromone laced musk permeating her senses, "Come. Sit with me. The show is about to start."

She turned to face him to see that he was motioning towards the loveseat. He took her paw in his and led her there. As they sat down, the door to the balcony opened and a male marten walked in.

"Alexis, this is my personal bartender Javier," Felipe introduced the marten, "If you'd like anything to drink, simply let him know. Javier, this is Alexis. She's starting as a waitress tomorrow evening."

"It's nice to meet you," Judy said.

"Likewise," Javier said before turning to Felipe, "What can I get you, boss?"

"Dry martini," Felipe said before turning to Judy, "And you, my dear?"

"I don't drink," she said, a slight blush on her cheeks.

Felipe turned to Javier, "Make her a Bloody Mary garnished with the usual."

Javier nodded and got to work on their drinks, first stirring together dry gin and dry vermouth with ice before straining it into a stemmed martini glass and garnishing it with an olive. Then he poured a double shot of vodka into a highball with ice before topping it off with tomato juice, a dash of hot sauce and a pinch of horseradish before adding a whole carrot as a garnish. He brought the finished cocktails over and sat them on the table in front of the pair.

Felipe lifted the martini to his lips and took a drink. Upon setting the drink back down he turned to Javier, "You sir are a champion of your craft."

Javier nodded in appreciation. Felipe turned to Judy, "Go ahead Alexis, give it a try."

Judy nodded sheepishly as she lifted the drink to her mouth and took a sip of the thick red liquid. Since the drink was made with veggies, she couldn't deny that she liked the taste, "It's delicious. Thank you, Javier."

The marten once again nodded in appreciation before going behind the bar to wash his mixology tools.

As the clock struck 9:00, the lights dimmed and the music began. The assembled crowd began to hoot and holler as the curtain rose. Judy's eyes widened as the dancers began filing down the catwalk to the stairs. There was a total of six dancers. The first one out was a lean yet slightly muscular rabbit with blonde fur wearing a bikini top and a short, pleated skirt with the top of her G-string sticking above her waistband. The next dancer was a voluptuous badger wearing a ripped flannel shirt, cut-off jeans and a straw hat with a piece of hay sticking out of her mouth. The third dancer was a mongoose wearing a purple belly dance costume and veil. The fourth dancer was a meerkat wearing a black negligée over a black G-string. The fifth dancer out was an otter wearing a barely-there bikini. The final dancer to step out from behind the curtain was Natalia, still in the same red robe as earlier, only it was tied shut and the only other visible clothes were the pair of bright red stiletto heels that she was wearing.

While Natalia approached the pole in the main stage, the rest of the dancers made their ways to the five smaller table/stages that were spread around the club.

Up in the balcony, Judy finished her drink and no sooner did the empty glass hit the table, did Javier have a fresh one there for her. As the dancers did their routines, the hours dragged on, and soon, Judy was feeling the effects of the now four consumed beverages. She tried to keep herself conscious of her surroundings, but the mixture of the loud music, her slight intoxication, and Felipe's musk, she could feel herself drifting off. This was why she didn't notice at first that Felipe's paw was gently rubbing the inside of her thigh. Reality slapped her in the face when she felt the edge of his claw graze her flesh. She immediately put her paw on top of his to stop him.

"Excuse me," she said, "I'm not feeling well. Where is the ladies' room?"

"Use the employee's restroom," he said, "It's nicer. Follow the hallway beside my office, behind the stage."

She nodded and stood up. Her legs felt like jelly as she fought to maintain her balance. She eventually made her way down the stairs from the balcony and eventually to the employees' women's restroom.

She immediately went into a stall to vacate her stomach. (I'll spare the details, but think tomato soup… you're welcome). As she flushed the toilet and opened the stall door, she found that she wasn't alone in the room. Standing at the sink was the blonde, rabbit dancer.

"Are you okay," she asked.

She nodded, "Yeah. I'm just not used to drinking so much alcohol."

"You don't look like an employee I've seen before," the dancer said, "and I think I'd remember that there was another rabbit working here."

"Oh," Judy said, "I'm Alexis. I start tomorrow as a waitress."

"And Felipe asked you to stay tonight to experience a normal evening," the dancer finished, "He does that to all of the new hires. I'm Lola."

Judy walked over to the sink and grabbed a paper towel and made it wet to clean up remnants of Bloody Mary from her facial fur, "How long have you been working here?"

Lola turned to face the mirror to touch up her makeup, "About a month. When I started, Felipe did the same thing: took me up to his VIP spot, got me liquored up, tried to fuck me."

When she uttered the last line, Judy shot her a shocked look.

"Oh," Lola said, "He didn't try to mate with you on his couch?"

"Now that you mention it, he was rubbing my thigh," Judy admitted, "but that was when my stomach decided that that last Bloody Mary was one too many."

"I wouldn't worry about it anymore," Lola said, "It's after midnight, and he and Natalia are probably on their way to his private lounge get it on as we speak. Well, it was nice meeting you. I'll see you tomorrow."

With that, Lola left the restroom. Judy washed her paws again before following her out. As she walked out the hallway, she passed Felipe and Natalia. The two predators were practically having sex while they were walking. Judy tried to slip past them, but Natalia noticed her.

"And where are you off to," she said sultrily.

Judy's breath hitched as she turned to face them, "As I told Felipe, I'm not feeling well. I'm going to head home. I'll be fine by the start of my shift tomorrow night."

"That's too bad," Felipe said, "I was hoping that you were enjoying yourself."

"I was," Judy said quickly, "I'm just not used to drinking that much alcohol."

"Poor thing," Natalia said, "Well, you'll feel better after a good night's sleep."

"Good night, Alexis," Felipe said as he took Natalia's paw and pulled her into his lounge.

Judy turned and made her way to the exit. Before leaving, she glanced around the main floor one more time. She saw the only male rabbit in the establishment sitting at a table in the far corner. She followed his gaze to the small stage where Lola was doing a pole routine.

"Duh," she said to herself, "Of course he'd be attracted to Lola. He's a rabbit."

She nodded goodbye to Piotr and Sergei as she left the building.

Around 1:30, after taking a relaxing shower and drinking a whole bunch of water as to prevent her impending hangover, Judy called the check in line to speak with Wiley.

"Hopps," he said as though he just woke up, "You were supposed to check in at 1900."

"Sorry Inspector, I was otherwise engaged," she said, "le Roux had me stay to get a taste for how busy the club got. My paws were tied. That being said, my shift runs from 1700 to 0200, so we're going to have to change my check in times."

"0300 and 1500," Wiley said.

"Okay," Judy said, "Works for me."

"Did you learn anything," Wiley asked.

"Felipe le Roux is sleazebag," she said, "Apparently he tries to get his new hires blackout drunk in order to have sex with them."

"Did he," Wiley asked in a serious tone.

"Notice I said 'tries,'" Judy responded, "he just got a little touchy-feely with me, before I got sick. He also has a persistent sexual relationship with his head diva, Natalia. She's an arctic fox who acts less like his employee and more as his business partner, in more ways than one."

"Did you say arctic fox?" Wiley asked.

"Yes," Judy said, "Is that important?"

"I need to fill you in on what's happening on this end of the investigation," Wiley said, "Bogo paired me up with your partner. We're investigating the private lives of the five victims. Today we visited the home of the first victim, Lorena Lop. The land lord said that she was accompanied by a female arctic fox a few days before she vanished."

"You think it was Natalia," Judy said.

"Who knows? It is our only lead though," he responded, "Nick and I are going to be in Tundratown tomorrow checking out the home of the second victim, Selina Winters."

"The snowshoe hare," Judy said.

"Mmhmm," Wiley said.

"How much does Nick know about my assignment?" she asked.

"He figured out via Lorena's possessions that she was an exotic dancer, so he knows you're under cover at a gentleman's club, and in response to the obvious question, I told him that you are a waitress," Wiley said, "Your partner is smarter than I initially gave him credit."

"He'll surprise you sometimes," Judy said, "Tell him I said, 'hi.'"

"Right," Wiley said, "I'll speak with at 1500."

"Right," Judy said as the line went dead. She stared at the phone incredulously, "What? No goodbye? Jerk."

With that, she made her way to her temporary bedroom for a much-needed sleep.
