Secret
"Jack, what are we going to do if anyone finds out?" Sam asked, frowning as the thought occurred to her for the first time. What would they do, should circumstances expose their relationship?
Momentarily taking his eyes off the road to glance at the woman in the passenger's seat, Jack put a reassuring arm across Sam's shoulders. "Don't worry about it. People do this all the time and no one finds out."
"Oh, name one," she challenged, crossing her arms.
Jack's mouth opened and closed twice before he dodged the question by saying, "Well, if I knew about any secret marriages, that would kinda ruin the secret, wouldn't it?"
Sam raised an eyebrow at him and smirked smugly, but let it slide. "Sure, just so long as no one ruins our secret marriage."
