A/N: Thanks for continuing to read, review, and follow! I appreciate it. Sorry for not posting an update last week for this story, but I hope you had a chance to check out the one I did for "Kegs & Eggs". To the Guest reviewer who questioned the year in the previous chapter, I went back and looked. You're right. I had Bianca and Marissa get married in 2013 and celebrating their first anniversary a few chapters ago. Here's the thing, I have it being 2015 in the storyline in my head and saw I had in my notes that Danny was born in 2015. I'm approaching the 5th anniversary of this story so things can get a little jumbled sometimes. I think things got a little muddled time-wise when I wrote some holiday themed one-shots also. At this point however, I'm just going to keep the current timeline of it being late 2015. Thanks for catching that discrepancy though and keeping me honest. I appreciate it. For this chapter, we're moving forward a few days. Hope you enjoy this update!

Bianca waved to Krystal as she entered the restaurant and walked over to her and Marissa's table.

"Good afternoon, Bianca. Is Marissa joining you?"

"Good afternoon, Krystal. No, she's not. She is getting her cast off today. I wanted to go with her, but she said it wasn't necessary. It's not going to take that long, and she has to head straight back to the office."

"She's getting it off already? It's only been around like three weeks. That's pretty quick, isn't it?"

Bianca nodded. "It is a little, yes. It was just a hairline fracture though, and it's healed remarkably well. It's probably helped that she's been a good patient and did exactly what her doctor told her to do."

"I bet she's thrilled to get it off, and I'm sure being good was hard for her. I'm also sure you had your hands full getting her to behave."

"You could say that, but it really wasn't all that hard because she really wanted it off by Christmas. As for her being happy about getting it off, she was running around the house this morning and kept asking if I knew what was happening today. Then, she made up a song about getting her cast off. The kids were cracking up."

Krystal chuckled. "That sounds like her. Are you dining by yourself then?"

"Actually no, I'm not."

"Kendall and Greenlee?"

"Yes, they will be here a little later, but Jessica and Jo are joining me as well. Speaking of, there they are now." Bianca waved to the Sheltons as they walked over to the table.

"Good afternoon, ladies. Are you all settled in at your house?" Krystal asked.

Jessica nodded. "We're getting there. Most of the furniture is there now, but there are still a few things in New York."

"Yeah, we'll either move those down here or donate them when Greg closes up the place in New York."

"I'm really glad Rissa and I got to see your place before the move is final." Bianca and Marissa had made a quick trip to New York the previous weekend while Susan stayed over at their house and watched the kids. The reason for the visit was twofold. First, they helped Jessica, Jo, and Greg with packing up a few things at their home there. Jo and Jessica really wanted Marissa to see their New York home before they moved permanently to Pine Valley, and the redhead wanted to see it as well. The second reason for the trip was to do a little early Christmas shopping without the kids around. It was always easier to shop for them that way. Plus, their mothers would be able to ensure they would be surprised come Christmas morning. They had arrived in the city on Friday in the late afternoon, and the five of them had gone to dinner at the New York contingents' favorite restaurant. Part of Saturday had been spent packing before the rest of the day had been spent shopping. While they were in FAO Schwartz, Bianca had found a stuffed baby tiger that she just had to get for Danny because she knew it was perfect for him. When she saw it, Marissa agreed with her wife. There wasn't a doubt in her mind that Danny would love it. When the couple finished shopping for their kids, other family members, and friends, they had managed to do a little shopping for each other. They were back home from their whirlwind trip by Sunday afternoon.

"I'm glad you were able to as well, and we really appreciate your help." Jessica said.

"We were happy to be able to do it. Rissa wished she could have helped more."

"We know, but she did more than enough. If she did anymore, she might not be getting that cast off today. Speaking of, have you heard from her yet?" Jo asked.

"Not yet."

"Tell them what you told me about her this morning, and while you're doing that, I'll get your drinks." Krystal smiled and headed back to the bar.

Bianca told Jo and Jessica about her wife's antics that morning and had both women laughing.

Jo shook her head amused by her best friend. "That doesn't surprise me at all. She's a big kid sometimes."

"If anyone would know about that, it would be you, Josephine. You're just like her." Jessica eyed her daughter knowingly.

Bianca chuckled at the interaction between the mother and daughter. Since Jo had come back into Marissa's life, the brunette had caught numerous glimpses of what her wife was like when she was younger. It was those glimpses that reinforced Bianca's resolve to pull off this surprise for her.

After the three women ordered, they got down to business.

"So, we have rooms reserved for everyone?"

"Yes, we do. I don't think we could be getting all of this done without Cory." Jessica stated.

"I agree, Mom. When I talked to her, she was so excited. I can't wait to see her again."

"I know Rissa will feel the same when she finds out where we're going."

"When are you telling her?"

"Next Friday. That's when I'm going to tell the kids too. It would be too hard for them to keep it a secret and not tell her."

"Are you sure she'll be able to leave work early?" Jessica asked.

"Yep!" Bianca grinned proudly. "That's all taken care of. I talked to Ellie, and she's cleared her calendar. Rissa just doesn't know it yet. What about Greg?"

"He wraps up the semester this week so he'll be down here this weekend. He told me he's looking forward to it."

"I have to admit that I'm really looking forward to it as well myself. I hadn't realized how much I missed going to it until you suggested it, Bianca."

"When the two of you talked about it, it just clicked. So, is Caleb going?"

Jessica blushed slightly at Bianca's question. Since she had moved to Pine Valley, she and Caleb had both grown more comfortable with being together in public, but this trip would be their first trip together. Jessica was a little nervous about, especially given where they were going. "Yes, he is."

"It's going to be okay, Mom." Jo reassured her mother. She knew what Jessica was thinking about. "And remember, if anyone gives you a hard time or so much as looks at you funny, they'll have to deal with me and Marissa."

Jessica smiled and kissed her daughter on the cheek. "Thank you, Sweetheart."

"Did we miss much?" Kendall asked as she and Greenlee joined the trio. They had a meeting with a buyer that couldn't be moved which explained the duo's late arrival.

"No, we were just going over the final details." Bianca told her sister. When Kendall and Greenlee found out what Bianca had planned, the Dynamic Duo was intrigued and asked if they and their families could tag along. Bianca was more than happy to have them join in on the festivities. "The rooms are booked, and everything else is taken care of. The only major thing left to do is to tell Rissa."

"She still doesn't know?"

"Nope! She still doesn't have a clue."

"By the way, where is Rocky?" Greenlee asked as she glanced around the restaurant looking for the redhead.

"She's getting her cast off."

"Oh, she has to be happy about that." Kendall said.

"You both must be happy." Greenlee added.

"Well, yeah, but I'm not sure I know what you mean."

Greenlee grinned. "I'm sure certain extra-curricular activities haven't been easy for her being down a hand and all. You could easily get a little frustrated."

Kendall groaned while Jo and Jessica chuckled.

Bianca simply rolled her eyes. She wasn't really up for Greenlee's teasing today. "Don't worry. I haven't been frustrated at all with the cast on, and I never have been with her. In case you forgot, it was her left wrist that was hurt, and she's right-handed. Besides, Marissa is very resourceful and always aims to please."

"Just kill me now, please." Kendall sighed dramatically.

Jo burst out laughing while Jessica bit her lip, and Greenlee gaped at the brunette for a moment. She hadn't been expecting that response from Bianca of all people. Greenlee gathered herself and shook her head both amused and impressed.

Bianca's cellphone alerted her that she had received a text. She picked up the device and read the text. A blush soon spread across her face as she read it. "The cast is off, B! I have a couple of exercises I need to do to regain strength. I came up with a few exercises of my own that you can help me with, after the kids go to bed. I know how you love to be hands on. Love you." Feeling the stares of the others at the table, Bianca typed a quick response before stashing her phone away from Greenlee's prying eyes. "You know that I love being hands on whenever you're concerned, Counselor. I'm definitely lucky that I get to be your personal physical therapist. It's a date. Love you."

Greenlee smirked as she saw Bianca's cheeks turn a little red as she read whatever was on her cellphone and then quickly type a reply. She tried to get a glimpse of what was on the screen, but Bianca was too fast and had the device out of sight before she could.

"Was that Marissa?"

"Yes, it was. Her cast is off."

"That's good. Did she say anything else?"

"She said she has to do some exercises to build the strength back up in it." Bianca looked at Greenlee and silently dared her to keep asking questions.

Before the mini standoff could escalate into something more, Kendall decided to nip it in the bud. "All right, enough with the questions, Greenlee. It's like you're doing an impersonation of Red. So, Binx, what about work? How are you swinging getting Marissa out of the office early? What's the plan?"

"It was pretty easy to come up with something actually. I called Ellie. She's arranged Rissa's schedule and cleared the last couple of hours. For her last meeting, my wife thinks she will be meeting with a potential new client when she's actually going to be meeting with me."

"Nice. So, you're leaving after the kids get home from school then, right?"

"Not long after that, yeah. I'm taking a half day off so I'll have us packed and ready to leave not long after they get home and changed. Susan is going to come over and dog sit for us." Bianca turned to Jessica and Jo. "When are you guys leaving?"

"Greg and I are going to leave around noon."

"And Caleb and I will leave not long after that. I managed to talk him into taking a half day off."

"Way to go, Jessica." Greenlee smiled. "Ryan has a late meeting."

Kendall finished for her friend. "Zach's in the same meeting. It's for Myrtle's foundation. We're all just going to grab dinner together here and then head out. Have you talked to Mom?"

"Yeah. She doesn't think she and Uncle Jack will be there until Saturday. She has several interviews plus a meeting with her publicist on Friday."

The group continued their planning while they ate lunch, and before anyone knew it, it was time for them to head back to work. As they were getting up to leave, Greenlee pull Bianca aside.

"Do you have a minute?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"I hope you're not upset with me."

Bianca looked at the other woman and couldn't hide her confusion. "Why would I be upset?"

"You know before, when I was talking about Marissa. I hope you know I was only teasing." There had been a time when there would have been a maliciousness behind Greenlee's words and when she wouldn't have cared whether or not Bianca was upset, but that time was long passed. In truth, Greenlee respected Bianca more than she could ever say, and they had been both friends and allies for several years now. The pettiness of the past was long ago forgotten and buried. Greenlee, however, loved to tease, and she realized that she had a tendency to go too far sometimes. She couldn't help but wonder if today had been one of those times. Greenlee had seen the challenge in Bianca's eyes earlier as well as heard the warning in Kendall's tone. They had been red flags, and Greenlee decided to not pursue the teasing any further because she valued the friendship too much.

"Oh that." Bianca dismissed it with a wave of her hand. "It's all good. I know you didn't mean anything by it. Besides, I'm kind of used to the teasing by now."

Greenlee sighed in relief. "I'm glad we're okay, and you're right, I didn't mean anything bad. What you and Marissa have is special, and I really am happy for you."

"I know. You've been there for us quite a lot, and I appreciate that more than you know. Marissa does too. Besides, I can handle the teasing."

"Oh, don't I know it. I was not expecting that response, and neither was Kendall."

"Please, for the love of God, don't go there again, and Binx, you only encourage her when you respond like that." Kendall pleaded as she joined the duo. She saw Greenlee pull Bianca aside and hoped there were no hard feelings between the two.

Bianca grinned. "What I said was nothing. You're lucky Rissa wasn't here."

Greenlee laughed. "Very true! I never really know what Rocky's going to come up with."

"Relax, Kendall." Bianca could tell her sister was a little anxious about what was going on between her and Greenlee. "We're good."

Kendall nodded. "Okay then. Call if you need anything for next weekend, and tell Red I'm glad about the cast being off."

"Thanks. I will." Bianca waved as she made her way to her car. Not only did she have a couple of more calls to make for her surprise the following weekend, but she wanted to make sure her desk was clear so she could enjoy the weekend away with her family. Bianca also wanted to finish things up for the day because she was looking forward to helping Marissa with her physical therapy after the kids were in bed.
