A/N: Thanks for continuing to read, review, and follow! I appreciate it and all of you. To Weekend Reader, I came up with the idea of where they are going a couple of chapters ago, and I actually dropped a subtle hint in the last chapter. You'll all find out where they're going in this chapter. It would have been a little earlier in it, but I had an idea of something else happening so I got a little sidetracked. I think you all might like the brief detour though, at least I hope so. This chapter picks up where the last one left off. Hope you enjoy this update!

Bianca collapsed and gave her wife the goofy grin she loved. "Damn. There is no way in hell Angie gave you that as an exercise for your wrist."

Marissa kissed Bianca and then grinned as she laid on her side next to her wife. She watched as Bianca gathered herself and her breathing slowed down. "You would be right. I came up with that all on my own. Judging by your reaction, I'd say you liked it."

"Talk about an understatement. I loved it, and that is definitely a keeper." When her heart rate finally slowed, a thought crossed Bianca's mind that had her laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"I just thought of something Greenlee said today."

Marissa raised an eyebrow. "You were thinking of Greenlee during …"

"Oh God no! I actually wasn't thinking much during that. I'm pretty sure my brain short-circuited so I'm almost positive I wasn't actually capable of thinking. So, thank you! I mean damn!"

The redhead was quite pleased with herself, and more importantly, with Bianca's reaction and grinned proudly. "You're welcome! So, Greenlee?"

"Oh yeah. I saw her at lunch, and when I told her you were getting your cast off, well you know her, she had a couple of comments."

Marissa laughed. "I'm sure she did. What'd she say?"

"She said she thought that certain extra-curricular activities most likely wouldn't have been easy for you since you were down a hand. She thought I might have been a little frustrated as a result. I assured her that was far from the truth, and that I have never have been frustrated with you. I reminded her that it was your left wrist that was hurt, and that you are right-handed. I also told her that you, my love, are very resourceful and always aim to please, and you always succeed!" Bianca leaned over and kissed her wife lovingly.

"I'm glad to hear that because I want you to feel loved, wanted, desired, and cherished, always."

Bianca sighed happily. "I'm a very lucky woman because with you, I always do. I want you to feel the same."

Marissa smiled brightly. "I definitely do, and I'm really lucky too. I bet Greenlee wasn't expecting that response from you."

"I did kind of shock her. Kendall was not so happy with it."

"Oh, I can imagine. I know how much your sister loves hearing about our extra-curricular activities."

"Isn't that the truth?! To be honest, I really don't want to hear about her sex life either." Bianca shivered in mock horror.

Seeing her wife's dramatic reaction had Marissa crack up. "You're not the only one."

"She asked if I was upset."

"Who?"

"Greenlee. She was worried that I might be upset because she thought that maybe she crossed a line with her comments today."

Marissa cocked her head. "Were you? Did she?"

The brunette smiled softly at the protectiveness in Marissa's tone. While her wife may love Greenlee, Bianca knew that she would always come first. "Was I upset? No, I wasn't. There might have been a time when I would've been, but things have changed between the two of us. We've both grown up and have realized that the reasons for hard feelings no longer exist or just weren't that important to begin with."

"Leo being chiefly among them."

Bianca nodded. "Yeah. Greenlee was jealous when there was absolutely no reason to be. I loved Leo, but I wasn't in love with him. He was like my brother. The whole me being a lesbian and him being a guy? It never would've worked out between us."

Marissa chuckled. "Yeah, I can see where that would put a damper on a romantic relationship."

"Definitely. Besides, Leo was crazy about Greenlee. No one else would've stood a chance against her. She was crushed when he died. It took her a long time to heal, but she did. She found love with Ryan, and they have a family that will be expanding, with your help. Does she cross the line sometimes? I don't know. I know she gets right up next to it sometimes though. I also know that she doesn't really mean anything by it, at least where we're concerned."

"True. She's definitely been there for us. As surprising as it was, Greenlee was actually the most responsible one of the group getting us together."

"I know, right?! Who would have ever thought that? We are talking about Kendall and Krystal though. Now Leo? He would have had a much more thought out plan."

"He would, huh?"

"Yep. It would have been run a lot smoother too. Leo would have really liked you, and the two of you would have had so much fun tormenting Greenlee and Kendall."

"That is always pretty fun. It doesn't bother you, does it?"

"You teasing them?"

"Yeah."

"Nope! You have every right to defend yourself. Besides, nine times out of ten, they're the ones starting something. You fight back and give as good as you get. I really love that you are so comfortable around them that you can do that."

"Like I said before, it's fun."

"True. I know something else that's even more fun though." Bianca grinned mischievously as one of her hands drifted lower.

Marissa moaned. "You have an excellent point, Babe. This, without a doubt, is much more fun. I guess you got your second wind."

"Oh, I definitely have. The question is, Counselor, have you?"

"There's only one way to find, if you think you're up to it."

No sooner had Marissa issued her challenge than Bianca had flipped her wife onto her back. "It is so on, Counselor."

Ellie checked the time and cursed silently. She wondered what was keeping Marissa. Her boss should have been back by now. Ellie had arranged her schedule just so. Marissa's meeting with one of her current clients should have been over around fifteen minutes ago. It was more of a meeting just to touch base more than anything else and didn't require anything new or special. That was exactly why Ellie had scheduled it as Marissa's last 'official' meeting for the week. She checked the time again and noted that Marissa had five minutes before her next meeting was scheduled to begin. The redhead usually liked 15 minutes, 10 at the very least, between meetings. This allowed her to wrap up her notes on one before moving on to the next as well as gave her time for a brief break. In general, Marissa just liked having a cushion in between meetings because it helped prevent having one run over into another. At the moment however, that cushion was quickly disappearing.

"Hey, Ellie. Sorry I'm late in getting back. I ran into Stef and Jamie on their way to see Brian, and Jamie had to tell me all about his visit with Santa."

Ellie sighed in relief as her boss returned. Bianca's surprise wouldn't be ruined after all. "No problem. You only have a couple of minutes though."

Marissa nodded. "Got it. I just have to make a couple of notes in the Lindquist file and then I'll be ready. When Ms. Tyler get here, please send her back."

"Will do." Tyler was the name Bianca came up with for Marissa's bogus new client. It was a nod to the brunette's beloved grandmother, Mona Tyler.

/

No sooner had Marissa closed the door to her office, then Bianca popped her head inside. "Is the coast clear?"

"Yes, it is. She just got back and is expecting Ms. Tyler any second now."

Bianca smiled and enter the room with Danny on her hip. The boy grinned when he saw Ellie, and she couldn't help but smile in return. They both knew he had her wrapped around his finger.

"Hey, little man."

Danny started to jabber away.

"I figured it was easier to sign him out on my way up here. Besides if Rissa sees him, she'll be hard pressed to delay wrapping things up."

"That is an awfully hard face to resist."

"Oh, I know it."

"You can go on back, Ms. Tyler. Ms. Tasker is expecting you." Ellie grinned.

"Thank you." Bianca looked down at her son and smiled. "Come on, Danny. Let's go surprise Mama."

/

Bianca struggled to hold in a chuckle as she knocked on her wife's office door.

"Come in."

A grin spread across Marissa's face as her wife and youngest son appeared. "Hey! If it isn't two of my favorite people." The redhead rose from behind her desk and greeted Bianca and Danny each with a kiss. "Not that this isn't a wonderful surprise, but I've got a meeting with a new client in about a minute."

"I know. You're meeting with a Ms. Tyler." Bianca smiled knowingly.

"Yes, I am. How did you …" The playfulness in warm chocolate eyes had Marissa stop as realization soon dawned on her. "Of course. You're Ms. Tyler."

Bianca nodded. "Yes, I am. I had Ellie set up an appointment for me."

"And you used your grandma's name so I wouldn't know. Why did you have her set up an appointment though? You know you never need one."

"I know I don't usually, but I did today." Bianca sat down on the sofa with Danny settled in her lap.

"Why?" Marissa knew something was up now as she joined her wife.

"Because I'm whisking you away from here."

"You are, are you?"

"Yep! We are going away for the weekend and need to leave early if we want to make it in time."

"In time for what?"

"Mmmaammmaaa."

Marissa's question was quickly forgotten as both women's eyes grew wide. They looked at Danny who was grinning from ear to ear at his redheaded mother.

"Did he?"

"I think so."

"Danny, who is this?" Bianca asked as she pointed towards Marissa.

"Mmmaammmaaa."

Tears started to fill the eyes of both mothers as they realized they had heard him correctly the first time.

"That's right! That's Mama!" Bianca kissed the proud little redhead and then looked at her beaming wife.

"Oh my God! He called me Mama!" Marissa didn't know if she had ever heard anything sound as sweet as that one word. She scooped Danny up and covered him in kisses. "His first real word!"

"And it was Mama!" Bianca couldn't have been happier. She remembered when Miranda and Gabby had called her that for the first time.

"Danny, who is that?" Marissa asked as she pointed at Bianca.

The boy had the same sweet reply. "Mmmaammmaaa."

Happy tears flowed freely, and both women were thrilled to be sharing this special moment.

"That's settles it! He's a genius!" Marissa proclaimed proudly.

Bianca laughed and rewarded Danny with a kiss as she took him from Marissa. "I can't argue with you on that! He definitely is!"

Danny giggled and clapped his hands as he looked between his mothers. "Mmmaammmaaa."

"Brilliant, absolutely brilliant I tell you!" Marissa gushed as she reveled in Danny's first word being 'Mama'. "This is just the best."

"He is definitely remarkable. What makes it even better is that we were both here for it."

"Yeah, sharing this moment makes it perfect." Marissa suddenly remembered something Bianca had said not long after she had arrived. "Wait. Not that I don't love you surprising me with a visit, but why are you here exactly? You said something about whisking me away."

Bianca laughed. "Oh yeah, I did. Sorry. Danny saying 'Mama' kind of sidetracked me."

"You're not the only one. So?"

"I am here to whisk you away for the weekend. Well, you and our kids."

"I'm definitely intrigued and all too willing when it comes to you."

"Ditto. Anyway, I'm taking us all on a road trip. We're just going a couple of hours away."

"Where are we going?"

"Devon." Bianca smiled.

Marissa's eyes grew wide and the brightest of smiles spread across her face. "We're going to Devon?!"

"Yes, we are. I was talking to Jo and Jessica while we were setting things up for Thanksgiving. They mentioned the festival …"

"Winterfest! They told you about Winterfest and that it's this weekend!"

Bianca nodded. "They did. I know you've mentioned it before, but it slipped my mind as to when it was. When they talked about it, I thought it would be nice for all of us to go. So, what do you think?"

It had been years since Marissa had been to her hometown's Christmas celebration. In fact, the last time she had gone was when her parents were still alive. Marissa didn't really have the heart to go the following year without them and had actually made sure she was out of town the weekend of the celebration. The redhead had moved to Pine Valley the year after that, and in the subsequent years, she just didn't have the time to make the trip back to Devon for the festival. Now that she had her own family, Marissa had wanted to go back and take the kids. It was just a matter of finding the time which Bianca had done. "I think I'm the luckiest woman in the world." Marissa leaned in and rewarded her wife's thoughtfulness with a loving kiss.

"I think I'm pretty lucky too."

"You said 'all of us'. Do you just mean our crew?"

"When we started talking about it, Jo and Jessica said they hadn't been in a while so they're going along with Greg and Caleb. Kendall and Greenlee heard us talking and asked if they could come. Mom and Uncle Jack are coming too and so are Krystal, Jenny, Kathy, and maybe even Tad."

Marissa laughed. "Wow. Is there anyone not going?"

"There's probably a couple people but not many. Oh! Cory's going to meet us there!"

The redhead lit up when she heard that she would be seeing her childhood friend again. "That makes this even better, if that's possible."

Bianca nodded happily. "She's been a great help with planning things and getting us rooms. She said to tell you that she can't wait to see you."

"You're the best. Do the kids know yet?"

"No. I thought it would be too hard for them to keep this a secret from you for too long. We're going to pick them up from school and tell them then. We'll all go home, change and then hit the road. I've got our bags already packed and in the car. Susan's going to come over and watch Max and the house for us. The rest of the group is to hit the road at different times today and tomorrow."

"You've thought of everything."

"I have. Now, you just need to pack up your things here so we can go."

"Yes, ma'am." Marissa kissed her wife again and did as ordered.

/

When the couple and Danny left the redhead's office a few minutes later, Bianca had her wife's bag while Marissa carried their son.

"We're heading out now, Ellie. Thank you for everything. Why don't you knock off early yourself?"

Ellie smiled at her boss. "Thanks! Have fun!"

"Mmmaammmaaa." Danny rested his head on Marissa's chest.

"Did he just call you 'Mama'?!"

Marissa grinned proudly. "Yes, he did! He called Bianca 'Mama' too when we were in the office!"

Ellie laughed at the couple's proud expressions. "That is great. You definitely have something to celebrate. Enjoy yourselves!"

"We will, and thank you for your help." Bianca said gratefully as she followed her wife and son out of the office.

"You're welcome."
