Disclaimer: I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist. (Sorry for forgetting one for the last chapter!)
Hello again. I suppose that you're all rather tired of seeing me, but hey, I have to update, you know!
Naw.
I know you all love me.
At least I hope so.
I got some more good reviews, and the occasional bad one. But like I said, I won't stop writing if there's still some people who like it. Now, if all of my fans turned against the story, saying they hate it, I might discontinue it. Or not. I'm kind of unpredictable. And perverted. But you guys already know that.
Well, the title for this chapter is pretty much self-explanatory.
Warning: This chapter contains extreme fangirl content.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Chapter 5
Hot like a Flame
"Here we are."
Fuery's voice signaled that we should stop. I stared anxiously at the framed wooden door, quivering with glee just knowing who was on the other side.
"Let's get this over with." Ed grumbled.
I can't exactly say that I felt the same way. The longer we were in there, the better.
Fuery raised his hand and knocked on the door.
Ok, I'm stopping the story for a minute. One must ask theirself; if I love Ed so much, then why am I so much more excited to meet Mustang? Well, I feel like I have to give myself an explanation anyway, because my internal fangirl is kicking my spleen, saying that I am betraying Ed. Actually, it's much simpler than that. When I met Ed and Al, it was completely spontaneous. Now, I'm getting to meet Mustang, and I know about it. Which gives me time to be nervous.
Well, sorry for boring you guys. Back to the story.
"Come in."
That was his voice! That was his voice!
Fuery opened the door, but Ed was leading the way in. And of course-
CRASH.
Ed had run into yet another blue-uniformed man, this one with blond hair on top of brown.
"Havoc!" I cried out, Mustang pushed from my mind momentarily.
"Uh, hello," the leuitenant said, standing up. Ed was lying under him, his eyes black swirlies.
"I'm Rachel," I told Havoc. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Well, you certainly can't have been with Ed all this time." Havoc said. "He's a rude little brat."
"I am not!" Ed yelled, darting up from the floor.
"Fullmetal, haven't been here two minutes and you're already causing a scene? What am I going to do with you?"
Mustang!
I turned to see the Flame Alchemist standing quite close to me, looking at Ed with dissatisfaction.
"H-hello…"
"Hm?" Mustang looked at me.
"Brother," Al whispered. "She's doing it again…"
Hell yeah I was! I was going all fangirl like I had for Ed, if not more so, for Mustang.
Complete with wild dance, garbled speech, and twinkling eyes.
"Colonel Flame Alchemist Sir," I said breathlessly. "It's-it's nice to meet you."
"Oh, please," Ed sighed.
"Hello," Mr. Perfect Fire said. "I take it you're the girl Fuery was telling me about while Ed was making trouble."
"Uh-huh…" I said, ignoring Ed's raised fist to the man in front of me.
"Well, you seem nice," Mustang said. "Unlike some people…"
Ed grunted in anger, and stormed out of the room.
"Wait!" Fuery called. "You're the reason we came to Mustang's office!"
"I'd… better go get him," I told Mustang, Havoc, and Fuery. "But… where are the others?"
"Others?"
"You know," I replied. "Lieutenant Hawkeye, Lieutenant Breda, Warrant Officer Falman, and Major Armstrong."
Mustang stared at me.
"Uh… how do you know them?"
"I-I just do."
"Well, I'm sure… they're around here somewhere." Mustang responded. "But you should get Fullmetal back in here first."
"Okay," I said, rushing out the door. Luckily, I ran into Ed, so I didn't have to go searching for him. Not so lucky was the fact that I had ran into him. I love him, if you all don't remember.
"What?" Ed asked bitterly. "And why are you blushing? Did Roy Mustang do something?"
"No," I said, looking away before my face could get the chance to turn even redder.
"Well, what do you want?"
"Mustang wants to see you," I answered sadly, my head hung low. "And I'm sorry. I just wanted to meet him is all."
I risked a glance at Ed, who was giving me that if-you-say-so look.
He sighed.
"Well, I guess the Colonel always gets his way, huh?"
Laughing again, he turned to enter Mustang's room.
"By the way," he said. "You're still blushing."
I watched him go, observing that closed-eyes grin on his face.
Maybe he knew.
T.B.C…
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXChapter 5, ya'll. Wasn't it just filled with Roy Mustang goodness?
Chapter 6 is on its way soon.
Probably just stupid, romantic drabbles between Ed and I.
But he still has to teach me alchemy.
And there's no relationship like that of a teacher and a student, now is there?
Eww, now I'm thinking about Izumi. Ed and Al's teacher. That's just gross.
Just review already.
