Chizuru was sound asleep. For once, she could sleep in peace without any threats to humankind or what have you. Just phone notifications.
However...
The phone rings. Chizuru doesn't stir. Then, the phone rings again! And again! Finally, a groggy silk pajama-ed Kagura picks up the phone without seeing who called. She sighs. "Hello?" "Hey, Cheese Whiz. It's been a while. Wassup?" She paused. "Orochi?" She then sat up. She was about to say it was 3 in the morning, but this is Orochi we're talking about here! "Hey, listen," he began. "I'm not a very happy camper right now." Chizuru heard this. "You know, the other day, I stopped at a McDonald's. A-" Chizuru smacked her forehead. "Can't this wait until the morning?" Orochi cuts her off. "I wasn't finished." Chizuru sighs. "Go ahead. Sorry." She couldn't not believe this. Heck, don't think anyone could to be honest! "Anyway, I went to get some ice cream." Chizuru sighs. "Let me guess, the machine was broken." Before Orochi was about to get irritated by the second interruption, he was instead surprised. "Wow, how'd did you know?" Chizuru wanted to bang her head against the wall. "But yeah. I'm noticing that humans can get a little rude. A little hostile. I'm about to start a little something if this continues. Just giving you the heads up. Have a good night." Then he hung up. Chizuru sensed that she would have to round up the boys. Again.
Kyo and Yuki were having a nice night at a nightclub. "Wow, this shit slaps!" Kyo said dancing with Yuki. She was laughing. "Yeah! What's this called?" Kyo checks his phone. "I think it's called Arashi No Saxophone 2? This is my first time hearing it." They got a few more drinks and then Kyo's phone goes off. And then it goes off again. "It's probably Shingo," he told Yuki, smirking. But after the third ring, they thought otherwise. "You better answer it, Kyo," Yuki urged. Kyo nods. "Yeah," he said forlornly.
He steps into the lobby area. He looked at his phone. Yep. It was Chizuru.
"Kyo," she began. "We gotta keep our eyes on Orochi." Kyo grunts. "I was out getting my dance on, Yuki shaking her ass and stuff, and you tell me Orochi's upset? What happened?" Chizuru swallowed. "Please keep an open mind. It's going to sound ridiculous." Kyo rolled his eyes. "And Orochi sunbathing on a yacht wasn't ridiculous enough? Or that he had a key to the seal? Tell me, Chizuru, what's more ridiculous than that?" Chizuru gulps again. She clears her throat. Kyo is getting agitated. "Well, tell me, damn it!" Chizuru sighs. "Well, in summary, he's mad because he's finding out people can be rude and refuse to serve him so he plans to retaliate." Kyo knew there was something else. "Okay, what did it?" Chizuru found herself sighing so much within the past hour, but she did it again. "Orochi is mad because he went to McDonald's and didn't get ice cream." Kyo was seething. "Call Iori. Bye." He hangs up.
Iori was at a pet store playing with a kitten. He was getting a new pet! He was pretty excited. He was petting his new friend. It was fluffy, black, and it was purring incessantly. "Someone's being rather cute today, aren't they?" Iori cooed. He giggled in delight petting the cat and then his phone rang. He looked and saw it was Chizuru. His eyes narrowed and answered. "I'm fucking busy." Chizuru did not like this. "Please, Iori. Just hear me out. I know you don't want to, but-" Iori interrupts, "let me bring Stormy home first, then we'll talk!" He hangs up.
Iori gets home and sets his new kitten's bed up and gets food ready. "I think someone's in the mood for Friskies!" Iori playfully calls to the kitten as the kitten mews back at him. The phone rings. Iori briskly picked it up. "What the fuck! I JUST got home!" It wasn't Chizuru. It was a spam caller asking about his car's extended warranty. Hung up. "Fuck!" then, he turned to Stormy who looked up at him. Iori looked back. "People, am I right?"
After he fed Stormy, Iori went on his back porch to call Chizuru back. He already knew it was about Orochi. "Hey, what do you want." he demanded from Chizuru. She replied, "Orochi is upset and he may go back to his evil ways." Iori heard this many times before. "What now? Did he get a bad burrito or some shit?" Iori laughed. Chizuru did not find this amusing but she retorted. "Not quite." Iori found this response a bit alarming. "Well, what's worse than Orochi liking Seven Eleven slushies all of sudden?" Chizuru retorted, again, "Imagine if that slushie machine didn't work." Iori paused. "Wow, that's fucked up. No wonder." Chizuru suddenly needed an aspirin.
All three of them showed up at a Target since that was the closest where they could all meet. Kyo noticed Chizuru's phone. "No more Blackberry, huh?" She was texting Orochi during this and took note of Kyo's comment. "I upgraded to an iPhone." Iori looked around. "Why are we here instead of his stupid yacht?" Kyo then started snickering. "heard you got kinda soft, buddy boy." Iori gritted his teeth. "What's it to you, you greasy haired fuck." Kyo snapped back. "Watch it, ballsack!" Chizuru gestured a 'stop it' and hissed at both of them. "Knock it off, both of you!" Then, she straightened her blouse. "Orochi's checking out now." Kyo and Iori still think anything dealing with Orochi now is just utter nonsense. Then, he shows up, wearing a Dragonball Z shirt and carrying some bags. "What's crackin', Cheeseball!" Iori and Kyo burst out into gut splitting laughter. "He called you what?" Chizuru huffed. "Hey, Orochi. We need to talk this out." Orochi paused. "Not here though."
The three of them are looking around, wondering what kind of world they just stepped in and what was happening. Orochi had booked an all exclusive penthouse for the night so they could just talk. "What the fuck is going on?" Kyo trailed off, looking around at all of the luxury. Even for Chizuru this was upscale. So much so that so almost uttered a curseword. "This...is...holy shit." Iori was touching all of the countertops. Orochi kicked back in a recliner and relaxed. "There's Chipotle in the fridge. I'm not going to eat it. I had something called wagyu earlier," Orochi said. The three looked at one another. "Um, no thanks...Anyway," Chizuru said. "Tell us, what must be done so you don't go back to your old ways?" Orochi whistled and twiddled his thumbs. "Hmmm, I don't know. Wow, hmmm." He looked up. "Well," the three leaned toward him. "you guys want cocktails?" Iori wanted to rip into him so bad but he restrained. Kyo smiles. "yeah, I'll have a mojito." Chizuru smacked his arm. "You got it, K-Dawg," Orochi said, finger gunning. He called room service. "Hello, Kevin. Could you be a dear and bring up a mojito? K, thanks!" Chizuru wondered something. "Orochi, um, this may sound like a weird question to you, buttt...how are you getting all of this service? Are you threatening people? Do you have a money vault we don't know about? Why threats now?" Orochi perked up. "Wow, that's a lot of personal questions," he said, taken aback. Nothing was surprising Iori anymore. Orochi was somewhat offended. "I don't know, man. I think you should probably leave." Chizuru held up a hand. "I just don't want anyone to get hurt." Orochi feigned a heart attack. "And I didn't just get hurt? Wow, that's low, Cheesewedge." Kyo almost spit out his mojito. Iori gets up and as does Chizuru. "I'm sorry, but we'll resolve this issue in some way." Then, they leave.
"Let's just give him a moment," Kyo said. Chizuru was getting antsy. "We can't, Kyo. There is no time." Kyo shrugged. "He's balling out. Dude's living good." Chizuru sighs. "Let's just go talk to Yashiro. Maybe he can help." Iori froze. "That fucker? Over my dead body. I gotta go home to see my kitten." Kyo sheepishly laughed. "Wow, Yagami." Iori ignored him. "Chiz, call me later, I'm out." Chizuru is perturbed. "Iori...our duties." He whipped his head around. "Well, my duty ain't cleanin' doody. BYE." Kyo shot back. "Now, it is. You got a cat." Iori steamed. "Oh, fuck you." He leaves.
"Let's talk to Yashiro, Kyo," Chizuru urged. Kyo shook his head. "All we're doing is talking to people. If you really think he's that much of a threat, I'll stand by you. But that mojito was OFF THE HOOK!" Again, Chizuru found herself sighing. "We need to get this done." Kyo shrugged. "Then, do it. If you're THAT pressed." Chizuru was miffed. "I missed out on a great dance party. Call me tomorrow. Bye." Kyo left.
Yashiro was closing up shop. He wanted to get home to Shermie who was now doing OnlyFans; Hooters didn't last too long. She ended up throwing a patron out the door, catching them in mid air and kneeing them. Impressive, yes, very much so! But, she was immediately fired. She found out she could make more money at home anyway. Chris knew that if her "Do Not Disturb" sign was up, she was working. "Working from home is pretty big right now," Chris mentioned. "She's probably doing Zoom calls and talking to clients!" Yashiro would only reply with,"yeah, something like that."
Yashiro got into his car when he got a call. He answered. "Hello?" "Nanananananananana KASE!" Orochi answered, mimic the old Batman theme. Yashiro reacts. "Orochi?" Orochi continues. "Hey, listen, I need a favor from you."
