~Normal POV~

Now that Pit had found out about Captain Falcon's plan, he knew he had to put a stop to it. He didn't want anyone sabotaging his upcoming date, because he wanted it to be perfect, no matter what. Nothing was going to ruin his Saturday afternoon with the most beautiful woman he knew and loved. However, Pit knew that he couldn't prevent his date from getting ruined on his own, so he needed some help. He had to find the right person to ask, and he knew just where to look: the training area of the Smash Headquarters, where the Smashers often went to prepare for upcoming battles and tournaments.

As the angel boy looked around to see if there was anyone who could give him a little advice, he saw Pokémon Trainers Red and Leaf teaching their Pokémon some tricks.

"Hmmm," thought Pit. "Those guys might have a few Pokémon with them that would come in handy. I just have to ask them if I could borrow one."

So, without further hesitation, he went over to where Red and Leaf were to ask them if they could lend him one of their Pokémon for a little bit.

"Oh, hey, Pit," said Red when he and Leaf saw the angel boy walk over to them. "What's up, man?"

"We heard that you have a date with Samus on Saturday," said Leaf.

"Yeah," said Pit, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "We've been planning it all week. I've been so hyped up about it, but Captain Falcon, Snake, Little Mac, and Ike aren't really happy that she's going out with me instead of one of them. From what I've pieced together after some snooping around, I've discovered that they want to pull some stupid pranks to embarrass me in front of Samus so much that she'll end up dumping me and start going out with one of them instead."

"Oh," said Leaf. "That sounds terrible."

"Yeah," said Red, rolling his eyes. "Those guys can be such jerks sometimes."

"Tell me about it," sighed Pit. "I just want to have a good time with my girlfriend without having anyone ruin it."

He took out the picture of Captain Falcon's plan and showed it to the Trainers, who examined it very carefully. After observing each and every detail of the secret plan, they huddled together and whispered. Finally, they turned their attention back to Pit and told him what their solution to his problem would be.

"If you want to keep your date from being sabotaged, then you're going to need help from an expert," said Red.

"And we have just the Pokémon for the job," said Leaf. Then, without warning, she pulled out her PokéBall and unleashed a certain little round, pink Fairy-type Pokémon with large eyes and cat-like ears.

"Jigglypuff has gone on many dates with Kirby, so she knows what to do to prevent a perfect day out with your girlfriend from getting ruined by some jealous pranksters," said Leaf.

"She will use some of her special moves to drive those knuckleheads away if they even try to go near you and Samus," said Red. "Some of her more powerful moves might work the best."

"Exactly," said Leaf. "The most powerful moves she has are Pound, Double Slap, Body Slam, Double-Edge, and Hyper Voice."

"She's used those moves quite a few times whenever someone tries to mess with her and Kirby whenever they're hanging out together, and they really work," said Red. "No one ever dares to sabotage her dates nowadays because they don't want to get pounded, slapped, or blown away. I bet it'll work for you and Samus, too."

"Are you sure?" asked Pit.

"Oh, we're positive!" said Leaf. "It will definitely work!"

"So, will you really help me?" Pit asked the little Pokémon

"Jiggly!" said Jigglypuff, nodding in agreement.

"That means yes!" said Leaf.

"Awesome!" exclaimed the angel boy. "I'd be happy to bring you with me on my date, Jigglypuff! I really hope those powerful moves of yours will work if Falcon and the other knuckleheads try to ruin the fun I'm gonna have with Samus!"

"You bet they will," said Red.

"She's all yours, Pit," said Leaf.

"Thanks, guys!" said Pit as he ran out of the room, with Jigglypuff following behind.

"You're welcome, man!" said Red.

"Good luck on that date!" said Leaf.

As Pit left the training area and returned to the main lounge room, he knew that having Jigglypuff work with him was a great idea. He decided to concoct an elaborate plan that the little Pokémon would put into action on the day of his date. It was going to be so much fun. After discussing his plan with Jigglypuff, he returned to his temple to make sure he had everything he needed for his Saturday afternoon outing with his bounty hunter girlfriend.

"Man, this is gonna be great!" the angel boy thought to himself. "I have a date with Samus this weekend, and if everything goes as planned, I'll be able to have her all to myself. Just her and me."

And Jigglypuff was going to make three.
