" Long ago, someone once told me that, everything we love is dying right in front of us."

The man with crimson eyes looked down to the under city.

He looked to the person by his side.

" What I've learned is that, everything born from life will perish wretchedly." He said in a dark tone.

He looked down and held her hand.

The corpse then raised her head and turned to him.

" Your friends."

He looked withdrawn for a moment.

" I could have saved them."

" But I could not find them."

The body fell against the wall, hunched and folded, and the man with crimson eyes just looked at her and then turned his direction to the streets, the buildings below his feet.

He reached down to his ring and shifted it for a moment like dusting it and then he readjusted it turning it thrice right and then reverting what he had done.

A blue stone materialized from it.

He laid her body slowly on the platform and then he took his position by her side.

" Be prepared child." He bit his finger and reached out to the stone.

"… Nothing will ever be the same."

Trails of blue lights flickered and scattered into the night sky, the mist of runic symbols evoked an arcane seal which enveloped the both of them.

He never took his eyes of her and because of the runic symbols the whites in his eyes darkened and his iris faded between crimson and violet.

His form faded from spirit to man, and he took a hold of her hand as the runic symbols erased his clothes and burned themselves into his torsos, his skin and his feet.

The glow from the stone distorted from the bright sapphire blue into a darkened violet.

A light descended up into the sky and he saw as the wound of her body healed and a small golden capsule was removed from her head.

The stone flew over them and shattered into fragments.

The blood from his body fueled the energy and with enough of it collected.

A dark portal came to existence.

He stared up to the portal, something seemed to be on his mind.

The stoned hummed and he seemed very sad as he could not look at it anymore.

" I'm sorry." He said.

" Don't forgive me" A sound screamed from within the stone at the corrupting spread of violet influencing it's original form.

The hum of life vanished from it when all that is blue darkened and faded away.

It fell below their feet and all energy it once had now been diminished and absorbed by the hovering portal.

He looked at his his arms, blood and deep trails on his skin carved out in to symbols.

Some of the wounds left on his body were scorched instead of cut out to create the runic letters.

He expressed no emotions, but he looked very sickly and weak with blood still oozing out of the wounds of his back his stomach.

And for every blood that fell in the runic circle he was in, it strengthened the portal which seemed to always be on the verge of fading.

He stayed there paralyzed. The control of his mortal form was perfect, but these wounds seized his complete control over it.

The trauma showed in his motions of movement and coordination

The portal slowly lowered.

The sparkles of light blossomed into existences like fireflies and it evoked an otherworldly hymn.

He felt something strange crawling in his heart and looked down to the bottom feet.

A brief had vanished and when his eyes closed and he was drawn into the memory of someone else dressed in dark clothing standing in front of the picture of a stranger.

He woke up again.

His toes hardened and the dark crystallized form slowly reached up towards his ankles.

The corruption was spreading quickly and altering both the inside and outside of his body.

He looked withdrawn at the sight of those changes.

He moved his attention to his side, Vi's body was sheltered by a soft light and her body was untouched by these changes.

He wanted to hold her hand, but stopped and looked back down to changes happening to him.

His eyes briefly showed panic before his gaze became unfocused and he looked to his side.

" I know…" He said.

A violet light glowed from behind him over his shoulder, but the blood never ceased.

He looked down at the puddles of blood surrounding his body.

The corruption had already reached his nose taking full control of him.

And he distracted by something else.

" I can…"

" I won't disappoint you."

He could no longer move and the glow dimmed, his lower body immediately shattered into white powder and he lost control.

Both arms tainted by the black crystallization shattered, one of his legs broke and half of his face sunk underneath his own blood.

He was breathing it in and suffocating. There was sadness in his expression as he slightly pushed his face away from the blood.

Until he looked to another side, towards a small dark specter in the image of a strange bird with violet eyes.

He spoke with his heart to the creature as his face was shattered completely.

" Dearest Lesser."

" In this moment I shall be destroyed, as you have created me to."

The bird crooked it's neck forward and lowered it's head and flew down slowly.

And the man with crimson eyes spoke again.

" But I-I don't want this to be my only worth to you. I know I can do many things for you."

" I can be more than just this husk you've created."

" I can be real." The man said.

The man's thoughts reached out to the spirit.

And he closed his eyes.

" Benevolent spirit…"

" If I am to perish here…"

The mans eyes slowly closed and opened again and he took a harsh breath in.

" Please… don't taint your kind memories, with my offensive form."

The man eye reverted from crimson into a dull gray.

" Love me as you had, when I was once dead." In the moment he was going to shut his eyes again.

The spirit flew in his birdlike form and rested on the blood where the man did not struggle to see him.

And the spirit lowered his beak and kissed his dark tears from the mans bruised eye.

" Your beauty shall never haunt me my precious body." The spirit whispered in his deep voice.

"…Is this how I would be remembered..." The man tried to keep himself away, but the corruption had reached and touch his eyes and the spirit hangs his head down lowly.

The spirit felt something inside of him, a fading light violently fighting against everything looking to darken it from within.

But the darkness with in his body was power beyond man and even it.

The spirit stared at the deformed body of the man he had controlled being devoured by energies beyond his existence and only angered brewed into his violet eye, blood leaked from his eyes.

And the spirit roared when he felt the soul of the man being torn out of the husk to be devoured by something else.

His imprint on the soul was being devoured and he felt the souls agony as he was being drawn out of it.

The spirit looked up to the heavens with anger searching the clouds, until his eyes lingered to the moon.

And he bowed his head down and flexed his wings out and crooked his neck lowly.

A dark presence lingered from a small cloud near the moon.

The spirit flew over the man and stood there facing it and his violet eyes gleamed with murderous intent to destroy that thing hiding in the shadows.

The spirit waited and waited until a sound hummed and the cloud faded away along a slight cold breeze.

He looked down to the body beneath his feet and he lowered his beak.

The spirit saw how the man seemed like he was enthralled by a dream.

Memories drained from the flesh as he soaked his beak in his darkened tainted blood.

[ I don't want to end like this.]

[ I could do more…]

[ Why is my life full of despair.]

[ It hurts, It hurts, It hurts, stop it!]

The man's thoughts whispered to him as auditory hallucinations.

[ Is this how I would remembered? ]

The spirit opened his wings and flew above the man, and he sunk his claws into his face and plucked out the crystallized crimson eye.

Black shards spurted out, and the black blood soaked his wings and talons.

The body of the man shattered upon removal of the eye and the spirit hovered to the body of Vi.

And he rested on her chest.

Upon the slightest touch between them, the runic circles which sheltered her expanded in the dimensions of 5 runic circles.

He looked down to the tainted eye in his claw and he made his way to her face where her left eye opened on it's own.

The eye ball slowly extracted itself and floated above her and he let go of the other and it floated above the empty socket.

" I won't let you die little one." The spirit said.

" I've found new purpose for your role in existence." The spirit whispered and the crimson eye glowed.

" Your purpose is to exist along side this child."

And the eye slowly descended and mended itself as her eye.

The dark pigments in the eye washed into a lighter shade of gray.

He reached out for the other eye and crushed it.

The blood leaked down his claws and then he tossed it away from him.

A louder hum fluctuated from the sky and he raised his head to the light which flashed from the portal.

In his animal form he descended down beside her neck.

The portal lowered above them and his eyes was looked away to the architect of Zaun and then he looked up and saw the tall buildings of Piltover.

Both cities were awake in the dead of night, he could feel their energy and the approaching footsteps in closing them.

But he turned away, he shifted his wings by her hair and stretched his long neck and kneeled by her side.

His eyes slowly closed, but his attention drawn to the sound and he saw approaching silhouettes from the distance.

He looked at them for a moment and then to the pink hair brushed against him.

He looks away again and the spirit shut his eyes and all the world dropped dead.

Authors Note, I apologize for the lack of content of with Vi in this one, but this piece was meant to be apart of a bigger chapter, but I got sick of the editing phase, editing is hell. I hate reaching that part always. I find myself writing more and that means editing more and then it goes on a repeating cycle.

And the other part is I know I can't spell, some things like remember I do it " remeber" there are other mistakes too, but that would be my fault.

I just wanted to post this chapter even if I dont even remember everything I had written. I'm still confused and can't bring myself to read it because of the editing process and how much I hate it, but this story does not have a structure and that's how I am.

I'm a versatile writer, but that also means lazy writer syndrome, ps Im not lazy, you just dont see all the stuff i've written and never published, because I know there is something wrong with it.

I would just like to leak my vision of how I want this story to go for people. Vi will not be like her arcane counterpart. She is my Vi and not this lesbian bs I keep seeing everywhere in the fanfiction website. I can't stand that version of her, it's so edgy compared to the stuff I write.

Sexual edgy, but never mind that. I have pt2 in the proccess and its 5k words and it's heading into the actual Arcane story now.

btw

If there is someone with a kind heart among you all, please recommend me some dark Arcane stories or I will be stuck in this limbo of creating more chapters, because there isn't any dark arcane stories I can find :( Your writer.
