This fanfic in no way reflects my opinion on Persona 5, especially since I have not even started it yet... and I also do not own ATLUS.

"So... You guys like Video Games?"

Minato groaned. Demi-Fiend stop talking and glared at him.

"Oh fuck you! At least I'm trying to make conversation!"

Ignoring Demi-Fiend, Minato let his eyes roam across the room they were in. It looked to be a combination of the lobby in the Iwatodai dorm, and a bar, with couches and chairs scattered about the room, and an open bar with stools to the left of himself. He was sitting on a couch with Aigis, and across from them were Yu and Demi-Fiend, who were sitting in their own recliner chairs. Over by the entrance of the lobby was a sign saying, "Welcome Shin Megami Tensei Protagonists!", except that the Shin Megami Tensei was written over a Persona logo that was scribbled out. 'Probably explains Naoki's bad mood', he thought to himself.

Finishing his observations, he flicked his eyes at Yu. "Hey Narukami, why are we even here?', he asked.

Yu opened up his phone and checked his messages. "Apparently ATLUS says that us protagonists need to get to know one another better, especially since that whole mess with your Velvet Room attendant and that Pixie." (Read "A Fiend's Waifu" to get that story.)

"What incident are you speaking of Narukami-san?", inquired Aigis.

"It's nothing you need to know Aigis.", Minato calmly, but quickly stated, wincing as he remembered it. Aigis looked confused by Minato's reaction, to which Demi-Fiend smugly nodded at. Yu disregarded their reactions and asked Minato something.

"How come your Robot Girlfriend is here anyway?"

"Well, apparently The Answer counts as a separate game from Persona 3, and since she's the protagonist in it, she's here."

"Pssh, too bad most people didn't play it."

Aigis' features saddened at this, so in return Minato narrowed his eyes at Demi-Fiend. "Don't be an asshole Naoki. I bet that more people have played The Answer than Nocturne." Before Demi-Fiend could refute this, he was interrupted by someone.

"Actaully if you do the research they-"

Everyone collectively groaned at this voice, aside from Aigis, who decided to welcome the newcomer with, "Ah, greetings Amamiya-san." Aigis then noticed how everyone was frowning at Ren, and questioned this.

"Is there something wrong with Amamiya-san?", she asked as she got up to scan him, before Minato pulled her back to sit.

Ren rolled his eyes as he sat down on a stool. "They're just jealous that Persona 5 has made more money than all of the mainline Shin Megami Tensei games combined."

"That's not mentioning that Persona 5 is way too popular for it's own good!", Demi-Fiend snarled out. "Those idiotic Waifu wars give me headaches, even when I ingest ailment nullifying magatamas. And don't get me started on those dumbass game journalists that compare every JRPG ever to Persona 5", his voice took a whiney tone," "Why can't I have a job in Final Fantasy VII", "SMT Nocturne is the Dark Souls of Persona 5", "Why can't I have a harem in Dragon Quest!"

"Well to be fair, that last one is pretty messed up.", Yu interjected.

"Yeah well thanks to those stupid comments, the Femboy is left crying in the bathroom."

Everyone looked at each other confusedly before Yu deduced who he was talking about. "Oh, you mean the new guy right?"

Demi-Fiend nodded and continued to speak. "Yeah, he's depressed that we can't find any reviews for Shin Megami Tensei V that don't compare it to Persona 5. So don't let him see you smartass, or else we'll have to deal with him swinging his light saber hand around everywhere."

Ren sighed at this. "Look just because I'm proud of being the holy grail of ATLUS, doesn't mean I enjoy all this attention from the adoring media and fans."

Minato scoffed. "Wow so humble." He looked to Demi-Fiend. "What's the new guy's name anyway, because I'm not calling him Nahobino or V-kun."

"I think you mean they.", Ren pointed out.

"What?"

"Since the Nahobino is two people fused as one, their pronoun would technically be they."

Minato rolled his eyes. "Oh yeah, I forgot that you're an intellectual."

Ren glared and was about to respond when the sound of the sink in the bathroom was heard. Demi-Fiend's eyes darted to the bathroom before whispering to Ren.

"Shit! Smartass hide!"

"And where am I supposed to do that!?"

"You're the intellectual, figure it out!"

"Here, put these on!", Yu harshly whispered, before throwing a pair of funny glasses at Ren.

"Do you actually think that this is going to fool them? Also aren't these Yukiko's?"

"That doesn't matter! Just put them on!"

With the doorknob turning, Ren had no choice but to put on the funny glasses as the door opened and Nahobino came out.

He looked around solemnly before landing his eyes on Demi-Fiend. All were silent as he walked up to him, before he burst into tears.

"Wahhh!", he blubbered out as he wrapped his arms around Demi-Fiend, bawling onto his chest, to which Demi-Fiend yelled out in indignation, "Hey! Get the fuck off me femboy!"

"*Sniff* I *Sniff* can't take it *Sniff* anymore!" He sobbed, before getting pushed onto the floor. Demi-Fiend stood up before brushing himself off. "Stop crying over this shit. While I get the whole hating Persona 5 thing, and believe me, all of us do, you need to man up and take it, right guys?", he said looking around the room expectantly.

"*Ahem* Well personally I believe that-", Ren started, before Demi-Fiend interupted him.

"Not you, these three.", he abruptly said before gesturing to Minato and Yu.

"Eh, honestly it's pretty whatever, and I have the most amount of spin-offs anyway. Plus Golden is on PC.", Yu coolly shrugged.

Demi-Fiend nodded encouragingly, before looking to Aigis.

"I form my opinions solely upon what Minato-san thinks.", Aigis robotically said.

Noticing everyone's expectant gaze on him, he just shruged, "I don't really care."

Demi-Fiend huffed. "You know as my friend you should be more supportive of my views."

Minato raised an eyebrow. "Since when were we friends?"

"Since I beat your ass.", Demi-Fiend growled.

Minato's face scrunched up in confusion. "What, is that a law in the Vortex World or something?"

Demi-Fiend nodded and held his hands out lifting his fingers, "There are 3 major rules in the Vortex World: 1, If you spare your enemies, they either become your ally, or have to give you something. 2, Always call dibs on Magutsuchi. And 3, Pixie is best Waifu, and anyone who says otherwise dies.

Everyone blinked at that last part, and Ren lifted a finger to say, "Um, I don't think-"

"Okay that last one is up for debate but you get the point!", he rushed out. He then turned to Nahobino. "Look Femboy, you need to act like the real Shin Megami Tensei protagonist you really are, a badass."

"Yeah...", Nahobino slowly said.

"Someone who beats up everyone that pisses you off!"

"Yeah."

"Someone that decides how the world should work!"

"Yeah!"

"Someone that gets the shit beat out of them by super bosses!"

"YEA- Wait, what?!"

Everyone sighed, "Yeah.", before looking to the side.

"What super bosses?", Nahobino asked cautiously.

"For us Persona protagonists, our attendants always beat our asses, although at least there's we weren't forced into hard mode, unlike with her." Yu explained as he pointed at Aigis, who sported a traumatized look on her face. "How could they be so cruel..?" She uttered out.

"Yeah, the old man tried his hardest to piss me off, with his normal attacks being almighty... I mean that's bullshit.", he grumbled moodily, before brightening up and saying, "But at least I get to flex on multiple newbies, starting with those multi-colored military guys and now some Femboy God."

Nahobino paled as Demi-Fiend gushed on, saying, "And Pixie showed up beside me too! It's about time that ATLUS finally canonized our relationship and a fight is the perfect event for a date! Also heads up Nahobino, I fight 100% more harder when Pixie is with me, which might destroy the universe, but-"

"Naoki just- Just stop Naoki." Uttered out Ren as he facepalmed, making Demi-Fiend pause. "You.. You're not that guy."

"Ren, what are you doing?", questioned Minato, who didn't like where this was going, to which Demi-Fiend agreed with. "Yeah, what the fuck do you mean I'm not that guy?"

Ren sighed. "Look Naoki, you think you're that guy whose the best and strongest ever, but you're not."

"Oh yeah?! Says who?!"

"I bet that Aleph or Nanashi could beat you!"

"Uh, who's Nanashi again?" Nahobino questioned, to which Yu simply replied with, "Discount Demi-Fiend."

"Oh that guy."

"Look people need to stop having this misconception that just because I only beat a part of the Great Will doesn't mean I can't beat YHVH, especially if I got Pixie with-"

"Uber Pixie isn't even that good either."

Demi-Fiend's eyes widened before they narrowed at Ren. "Choose your next words carefully smart ass...", Demi-Fiend warned, as Minato and Yu exchanged nervous glances.

Ignoring this, Ren continued to poke the beast. "I mean, the only thing real reason to keep her is for Uber Pixie, and even then shes only useful as fusion fodder.", Ren droned out before a wave of suffocating power engulfed the room as Demi-Fiend lunged at him ferociously.

"You take that back!" he roared as Minato and Yu tightly held him back.

"You really need to control your smart mouth Ren!", Yu yelled out as he and Minato grunted while holding Demi-Fiend back, while Aigis stood defensively in front of Ren. Nahobino simply started whimpering in a corner of a room, rocking himself back in forth.

"Hmm, it seems I've come at the right time.", a voice coolly sounded out as the door to the room opened and closed.

Everyone turned their heads to gaze at the newcomer, as they all uttered out, "You?!"

Everyone stood frozen in place after they said that, besides Aigis, who observed this phenomenon before coming to a conclusion.

"Ah, I see. This must be what's known as a cliffhanger."

Yes. A cliffhanger. Who is the new arrival? How will they cause more chaos? Will Demi-Fiend kick Joker's shit in? Find out next time!
