The Fox's Tears
Manji Clan Manor, Manji Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan…
A few days went by ever since Kunimitsu pressured the kunoichi Phoenix into being a guinea pig for the vampire Eliza who was under the careful watch of the Manji Clan. Kunimitsu found out through the testimony of Phoenix that Eliza truly possessed the ability to heal injuries through a blood sucking spell. Once her husband Raven found out about this revelation, he offered to keep a closer watch on Eliza. When the opportunity presents itself, maybe Eliza could show him how her healing spell works. Raven left early in the morning to help with Eliza's training as Kunimitsu stayed in the manor. She would soon get ready to walk over the village and talk with the locals about their daily activities.
Eliza's Hut Manji Village, Japan…
Eliza (Rising from her bed yawning.): "I'm still so sleepy….hmmmm."
Knock on the door…
Eliza: "Huh? Oh no. It's him again." (Approaches the door.) "Coming." (Opening the door.)
Raven: "You are up already. That's good Eliza. Did you eat anything?"
Eliza: "No I'm still sleepy."
Raven: "I'm pretty sure you slept all night Eliza or were you eating fries without permission again."
Eliza: "No. This village doesn't have fries. Though I would like to have some."
Raven: "Hmmmm…look if you train really hard today, then we can go to the city and get some fries. How does that sound?"
Eliza: "Really? You mean it?"
Raven: "Of course."
Eliza: "Alright. Then I'll get my gear ready!"
Quickly the vampire rushed back in her small room and changed out of the old pajamas loaned to her by Kunimitsu. Then Eliza returned at the front door with a burgundy skimpy ninja outfit which was obviously too small for her frame, but she was careless about it. Raven tried hard to avoid staring at the goods by turning his back.
Raven: "Make sure to lock the door before leaving out."
Eliza: "Oh yeah. Ok."
At the Manji Village Main Street Cafe…
Kunimitsu: "It's been a while Elder Zukashikuto."
Zuka: "Indeed it has leader."
Kunimitsu: "So how has retirement been?"
Zuka: "About as quiet as it can be. However…"
Kunimitsu: "Hmmm?"
Zuka: "I have noticed that some of our food products have gone up in pricing and our reservoir has lost a significant amount of water in its area over the past 4 months. We know about the drought but I believe that it has more to do with human interference outside the village."
Kunimitsu: "I'm aware of the tariff tax hike the Japanese Government placed upon all municipalities across the country but the reservoir losing the amount of water you say could have been tampered with somehow?"
Zuka: "I'm afraid so. My assistant you know works there and he has been investigating this matter for some time. He thinks a mole in our village is behind the decrease of our water supply."
Kunimitsu: "Is that so? Well…perhaps I need to have a word with Mr. Ube our Supervisor of the Water Authority. This village has no need for spies."
Suddenly one of Kunimitsu's servants appears from the corner behind the elder sitting down…
Shinomatsu: "My lady, Zaibatsu forces are closing in on the back gate of the village. The commander wishes to speak with you."
Kunimitsu: "The Zaibatsu again? Ugh."
Zuka: "They refuse to give up I see. May I join you in dealing with them my lady?"
Kunimitsu: "It's whatever old man. Just don't break a leg or something."
Zuka: "I'm not completely useless now." (Chuckles.)
Kunimitsu: "Then let us be on our way."
Chidoru Cliffs, just outside Northwest of the Manji Village…
Eliza: "Dark Wave!"
Phoenix (Dodging): "Sh*t!"
Out of a request by Phoenix, she volunteered to spar against Eliza for the end of the morning training session. Phoenix was holding her own against the vampire until Raven gave the okay nod allowing Eliza to use her dark powers against Phoenix. Of course, Eliza held back on her power to keep from cutting Phoenix limb from limb. Eliza threw several Dark Wave's at Phoenix until the kunoichi found herself backing into a tree. With fast anticipation, Eliza teleported disappearing out of sight.
Phoenix: "Crap! Where did she go?" (Levitating in midair.) "Wha….aaggghh!"
Eliza: "Go to sleep!"
Eliza reappeared from the left side of Phoenix and paralyzed her with one of her special techniques, the Plasma Sphere. The energy squeezed the life of out Phoenix as she was about lose consciousness. Finally Raven stepped in and told Eliza to quit paralyzing Phoenix.
Raven: "Okay that's good enough Eliza!"
Eliza (Turns to Raven): "Huh. Oh." (Drops Phoenix on the ground.) "Sorry."
Raven (Goes to Phoenix): "Phoenix? Phoenix? Are you alright?"
Phoenix: "Ugh. Raven?"
Raven: "Good. At least you're not out cold. Can you stand?"
Phoenix (Rubbing her head): "Gimmie a sec, I'm still dizzy."
Raven: "That was a little too forceful Eliza, but…nonetheless it was good fighting on your part."
Eliza: "Okay. Is training over already?"
Raven: "For the time being this morning. We should send Phoenix to the hospital and let the doctors check up on her. Then we can resume your training."
Eliza (Mumbles): "I really want those fries."
Manji Village Front Gate…
Three armored trucks were all parked just 50 meters away from the premises of the front gate of the Manji Village. Each one had as many as 10 soldiers as they all walked closer to the gate. Their general was an American by the name of Cole Tucker who stood at the very front of the gate. By the time the large wooden gate opened, the only people standing on the other side were Kunimitsu and the retired ninja Zukashikuto.
Kunimitsu: "Who is the leader of this group? I only need to speak with him! Nobody else!"
General Tucker: "You may speak with me Lady Kunimitsu. Call me Cole. I come on behalf of the Mishima Zaibatsu."
Kunimitsu: "Let me guess. Heihachi still wishes to employ us into his network of spies?"
General Tucker: "Precisely. We tried to use Kuma to have you understand our proposal but I see that did not go as planned. So allow me to elaborate further on this deal."
Kunimitsu (Look at Zuka who remained emotionless.) "This better be good. Now what scheme do you people have up your sleeves?"
General Tucker: "It's no scheme my lady. Only a proposal. Our deal is this. If your clan agrees with joining the Tekken Force then you will gain access to all of our military arsenals giving your village a much needed defense against intruders. We will even give you a service fee for 400 million yen. Not a bad proposal is it?"
Kunimitsu: "So this time Heihachi thinks he can intimidate me by sending his troops right at our front door? He has some nerve." (Snaps her finger)
Out of nowhere, several Manji ninja surrounded the Tekken Force. Some of them even had crossbows, assault rifles, RPGs, and shuriken ready to strike at any soldier who tried to resist. It was an ambush thought up by the elder Zuka at the last minute.
Kunimitsu: "As you can plainly see Cole. I have all of my defenses right here. If Heihachi wants us to work for him so badly then he should come and ask himself!"
Elder Zuka (In worry): "Kunimitsu?"
General Tucker: "How dare you! We had no intention of assaulting this village!"
Kunimitsu: "And that means you are in no position to make us do anything! Now be good boys and run along to your master before you all perish here!"
General Tucker (Ticked): "Fall back men! You are making a grave mistake here Lady Kunimitsu!"
As the troops all jumped back into the trucks to leave the Manji Vilalge, the elder approached Kunimitsu asking her if making such a bold threat truly was a good idea.
Elder Zuka: "Was that wise to provoke such a powerful force? They did not bring a major group this time around but what about the next time?"
Kunimitsu: "If there is one thing me and the previous Yoshimitsu have in common is that we do not play vassals to bigger lords, yakuza, or men in big suits. As long as I am leader of the Manji I will see to that." (Walking back.)
Elder Zuka (Follows): "Where are you going now?"
Kunimitsu: "I want to find out more about this 'mole'. I'm heading for the reservoir."
Later that day…
Phoenix was hospitalized in the Manji Village medical center just as a precaution. She would be soon released by sunset if all examinations were negative. After that, Raven and Eliza went back to the cliffs and resumed the training. Eliza's dark powers devastated the cliff side as she threw wave after wave carving up rocks. Raven could only watch in awe at this vampire's capabilities.
Raven (Thinking.): "Just incredible! The amount of power Eliza possesses seems too surreal to process. I just hope it's enough to subdue one of the Mishimas. We need all the help we can get. Anything to finally end the conglomerate war." (Shouts.) "That's good enough!"
Eliza (Breathing hard): "So how is that?"
Raven: "Better than I expected Eliza. I guess I do owe you some fries after all of that work."
Eliza (Jumps.): "Yippie!"
Raven: "Now which restaurant did you prefer?"
Eliza: "Uhhh…the one with that King mascot!"
Raven: "Oh…I see. Let's get to the hovercraft and find one."
Eliza: "Yay! Fries! Fries! Fries! Fries!"
Using the GPS dashboard inside the hovercraft, Raven pinpointed the nearest Burger King from the Manji Village. He would fly Eliza to the city of Sagamihara and order fast food there. Raven ordered fries for Eliza and a Whopper for him with a drink. To keep from having bystanders pester them, Raven quickly dragged Eliza out of the restaurant and asked the vampire to teleport them back at the hovercraft. Eliza complied even though the sight of human flesh was making her just as thirsty as she was hungry. While they stayed near the vehicle to eat, Eliza had a special idea to get her quench satisfied.
Eliza (Thinking): "Hmmm…there must some way to thank Raven for giving me these crunchy treats! Ohhh! I got it! I haven't controlled someone in such a long time. I wonder if I can remember the spell. That way I can get as much fluids out of him as I want. He seems stronger than the average man anyway. I just need to find the right moment."
Raven (Eating the last bit of the whopper): "Are you almost done with your fries Eliza?" (No response.) "Eliza?"
Eliza (Behind Raven, grabbing his head.): "I am done…but I need something to drink now."
Raven (Paralyzed): "Ugggghhh!"
Eliza used her Dark power to enter inside Raven's head with her hands. To keep him from resisting, she briefly bit his neck but not too hard of course. After that Raven went down on the ground. Then without hesitation Eliza commanded him to stand up.
Eliza: "Now stand." (Raven does so.) "You and I are gonna have some fun now." (Smirking.)
Inside the Manji Village Reservoir Office…
Kunimitsu: "Now my friends…which one of you has been selling our water to the government without my permission?"
Worker 1: "I didn't do it I swear!"
Worker 2: "It was not me your highness!"
Worker 3: "Please don't kill us!"
Kunimitsu: "Killing is too good for all of you. Now!" (Pulls out the truth talisman charm.) "This here will find the culprit. Once I set it off, one of you will reveal the truth of me."
The workers who were accused of selling the Manji water to the Japanese government were all subjugated under Kunimitsu's interrogation. One way to make them talk was using the 'Truth Charm'. It is a special Manji ninjitsu charm that makes the victim speak one of his or her evil deeds. Once Kunimitsu activated the charm, the energy shined brightly in the room. Worker 2 or 3 did not say anything, However…
Worker 1: "Yeah! I sold the water! I'm getting out of this place if it's the last thing I ever do! The Zaibatsu will destroy the village anyway! So I'm getting the heck outta here once I'm paid!" (Back to his senses.): "Aaaaahhhh!"
Kunimitsu: "Caught you red-handed! Shinomatsu! Minokitsu! Arrest this man at once!"
Her subordinates entered inside the small office room and handcuffed the first worker who confessed to selling off the water. The other workers were innocent of the crime. So Kunimitsu apologized to them both and offered the workers an extra day off work for their troubles. Going out of the room, she met the Elder once again downstairs before leaving.
Kunimitsu: "I'm glad you informed me of this unfortunate turn of events elder."
Zuka: "Of course Kunimitsu. Our water is very important to our people here. We cannot have it go to waste because of bribery. However what you should have learned is that not everyone is happy at the village. You must continue to be cordial with the citizens and listen to their needs. Otherwise, we will have more sneaky crimes like this."
Kunimitsu: "Yes elder. Thank you for informing me about this. Now I should find my husband once I pick up my son from Lady Asahimatsu."
Zuka: "Of course my lady."
After Kunimitsu left the reservoir facility, she tried to call her husband, but there was no response. She thought this was strange for Raven responded most of the time. Then she remembered he was with the vampire so perhaps he might still be with her. First, Kunimitsu went to Lady Asahimatsu's house to pick up her son. Then she went back home for the manor. After putting the sleepy Karasu into his bed, Kunimitsu went to the dining room as she sat patiently reading up on the news on her phone. It was unusually quiet, even in the kitchen room. Then she called her maid and asked what was going on.
Kunimitsu: "Okiryu!"
Okiryu: "Ummm…yes my lady?"
Kunimitsu: "Is there anyone in the kitchen? I was hoping one of you would prepare dinner for tonight. I could not do it myself because of the disturbance earlier this morning. But it seems as if the chef is not here for some reason and what are you doing?"
Okiryu: "I'm so sorry my lady. Mister Raven was acting very strange and he told everyone to leave the manor for some reason. He seemed out of it to me. I did leave but I returned once I saw you walking back here from my parent's house. That vampire girl is in here too because she came upstairs right after he did. She did not listen to him though."
Kunimitsu: "Nani? Where upstairs?"
Okiryu: "I dunno."
In a fit, Kunimitsu got up and rushed upstairs. She heard some strange sounds coming from inside the master bedroom. Opening the door, Kunimitsu and Okiryu looked inside and they both wished that what they saw was not a dream or a reality. Eliza had Raven all to herself in Kunimitsu's bed. The amount of sadness Kunimitsu felt that night was immeasurable.
