The Feast

"Wait hold on a minute mate what do you mean? Draco was told to put his head down and not mess with us?"

"Ron, keep your damn voice down unless you want the whole damn train to know we were listening in on a conversation we aren't supposed to know anything about!"

"Sorry mate it's just Draco has been a right git for three years. I doubt he is going to listen to his mom."

"I don't Ronald, Draco may listen to his mum unlike you." Hermione says, rolling her eyes.

As Ron and Hermione begin their argument, Jax decides it would be best to take a walk. As Jax slips out past Harry who is currently buying something from the trolley. Jax just starts walking down the narrow walkway when all of the sudden he bumps into a group of Slytherins.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention where I was going."

"It's fine just make sure you don't let it happen again Adonna!"

"Oh Parkinson, have a nice summer?"

And with that Jax turns and walks back to his compartment. Knowing that what he just said will either piss Pansy off or confuse her. Either way it's a win - win for him, returning to a now silent compartment Jax pulls out one of his new text books and begins reading.

Hogwarts

As Jax makes his way into the great hall for the opening feast, he catches the eye of professor Snape. Giving the rather hated man a short nod.

"What do you think Dumbledore is going to say?"

"I'm more interested in why the hell Barty Crouch is here?"

"That is an easy one, The Triwizard Tournament." Jax says while piling his plate with food.

"What? How do you know that?"

"Oh yeah forgot to tell you guys that was the other part of the meeting I had with Dumbledore."

After the conversation that Jax had with the group he begins eating his meal when he hears Dumbledore start his speech. That he rambles every single year.

"Blimey, mate Jax eternal glory!"

"Meh, no thanks I have no need for eternal glory or fame."

"I'm with Jax on this one for once. I just want a normal, less stressful year." Harry says.

As Dumbledore finishes his speech, and explains how the Triwizard Tournament works. Jax nods to all of his friends, as he gets up to leave but not to the common room like everyone else. No Jax is on his way to the come and go room in which he stumbled upon last year on one of his many midnight strolls through the castle. But almost out of instinct he looks over his left shoulder and notices Pansy, watching him with a slight head nods toward the slytherin girl he begins making his way toward the room.

"Hey Jaxy-poo wait up will you?"

"What is it Fred and George?"

"We notice you aren't heading toward the common room, why is that?"

"Because it is going to be the only peaceful part of this whole damn castle, also hopefully if I go there Dumbledore won't come looking for me."

"Ah we see, but why do you believe it is going to be the only peaceful place in this castle?" Asked both twins

"Let's just say I have a very bad feeling about this whole Triwizard Tournament business"

"Ah so you don't want to see what we have come up with to be able to put our names inside the goblet?"

"Sorry fellas I would love to see what kind of genius plan the two of you have come up with, but as of right now I don't trust the whole thing."

And with that before the twins could ask anymore questions Jax walks off, seemling leaving the twins with more questions than answers.
